Starting up, she could feel her muscles strain against the effort, and she lost her footing more than once. It was a rare moment that Lelanna felt true humility, but standing up there, only two thirds of the way up, struggling to stand... she was more humble than most times of her life. Admittedly, since Kail had left Team Imperium, she hadn't done much-- the work he did with Cyndaquil, who had been at least several levels below her at the time, she hadn't participated in. She had instead leisurely walked from beneath a tree, or amongst some shade, uninterested in pushing herself. Kail had lost momentum in training fast, too, and even before he left, he hadn't been working them nearly as hard. It had probably been a year since they had a decent regime... and she had a feeling letting them train on their own like they were was his way of testing how capable they were at pushing themselves and getting back to how they used to be. Well, she may have been lackadaisical in the past, but she certainly wasn't going to allow the fire mouse to surpass her. She could work just as hard, if not harder, when she needed to, and now... she needed to.

Reaching the top, Lelanna could tell it was time for a more leisurely activity, and started on her way down, leaping from rock to rock, feeling at least a... little more comfortable with this. She blinked as, when she landed, one of the rocks moved, her eyes widening as it lifted, and a small yip of surprise escaping her. Geo... dude." She looked down to see the rock time she was standing on rubbing his eyes, relaxing a bit, and a smirk crossing her face. "Sorry hun... Didn't mean to disturb you," she remarked with a chuckle, leaping off and onto the next rock. He gave a tired nod and a wave of dismissal, before settling back into the rocks. She smirked, swishing her tail, and then turning to finish making her way to the ground.

Lelanna landed and shook her head, looking around the Day Care now that she was on the ground and taking a moment to catch her breath. It looked like the Houndoom had gone off to train on his own, and curious as she was, she needed to focus on her own training. No sign of the Absol, either, but she could spot Cyndaquil tottering off with some pink pokemon in the stance and sighed. At least she didn't have to worry about being spotted. She shook her head again, sweat dripping into her ears, and picked up a gentle lope, heading for the water. She wanted to wash off, and the jog over would help loosen her muscles up a bit for a swim.

Just dipping a paw into the water felt good, but Lelanna retracted it, digging her claws into the ground and stretching back. She wanted to make sure her muscles didn't seize up in the cold water, and the best wayt o do that was to let herself cool down a bit and stretch. She extended her legs, twisted her body, turned, sauntered, and moved about until she felt limber and relaxed, and then slipped into the water, folding her ears back before dipping under the water. She surfaced, lazily moving her legs to keep her afloat, enjoying the refreshing feeling a moment, only to lean forward and begin paddling along. She wasn't exactly built for this terrain, but that didn't mean she couldn't still exercise by swimming, her head lowered, eyes watching to make sure none of the water pokemon tried to sneak up on her or pull something. She might have been feeling a bit better, but she was in no mood to be dunked and get water in her ears...

Aside from a couple clumsy Magikarp, Lelanna was able to mostly avoid the water types, and coast through the waters. She had to admit, though... even the slightly more leisurely activity was getting tiring. She huffed a stream of bubbles into the water but lifted her head up to take a deep breath, tucking her ears back and diving under to kick and slip through the water, heading towards the shore. She climbed out, shaking her head, using her back paw to knock some of the water that had gone into her ears out. Good thing she wasn't wearing any accessories...
Flicking her tail to remove the last bit of water from her damp fur, she looked around, feeling a bit tired and uncertain whether to lay down, or try again. Ultimately, she decided to do one more trip up the rocks and down, and then perhaps lay in some shade for a bit.

It was actually a bit easier to make it up the rocks this time, perhaps because she had taken a break, or perhaps because her muscles were finally warmed up and getting used to the work, but her limbs still felt like jelly by the time she got to the top, and on the way down, she stumbled twice. If she wanted to avoid falling face first off the rocks-- which would be embarrassing and painful-- she would probably need to give herself a bit of time to recover. She landed on the grass with a huff, then stood and straightened, shaking herself a bit and gazing around. Perhaps she could do a bit of sight seeing while she regenerated some energy... maybe even spot a few of the interesting pokemon she'd spotted earlier...

OOC: Phew @@ Feel bad for spamming so many posts, but wanted to take advantage of that Lucky Egg and the free time I've got while I can.
Next was a jumping section that consisted of getting from one end of a mud pit to the other by hopping onto posts, boulders, large branches, and other bits of debris. The posts were just a bit too narrow for Daemon to land on without falling into the mud, so he stuck to the boulders and branches for the most part. It wasn't like there was only one path through the section he was at. There were many different ways to reach the other end of the mud pit and the only question was what options he was barred from due to his physiology.

Felix Devito's Daemon
Daemon grimaced inwardly when he saw the stretch of track that approached once he was on the other side of the mud pit. Ahead was another stretch of dirt road, but this one far more winding and dotted with Diglett holes. One wrong step during a sprint could mean a sprained ankle. He wasn't keen on slowing his pace, though, which meant he had to try and plan his steps two or three at a time. Not that he hadn't had to do that before, but it had been some time since he last had to worry about his footing this much.

Oddly enough, the need to lay down didn't strike her immediately. She passed over the grass, gazing around at the pokemon that were present-- and there were a lot. She half wondered if that was a legendary over there, but she wasn't sure-- there was just something about it. There were quite a few other impressive pokemon about, too, and the ones you'd expect-- the lower leveled pokemon, the babies, and others. Overall, the atmosphere seemed fairly pleasant, now that the Absol business seemed... mostly taken care of? Or at least, it had been moved further away. She even spotted the Houndoom she'd seen by the water, working over an obstacle course, her tail swishing a bit as she watched him a moment. Turning her gaze away, she found herself a cool spot in the shade, laying down to close her eyes and rest a moment. She would return to training shortly, do a few more rounds... then maybe she could relax and check out some of the more interesting present company.

Sunny Rose's 8 inch ball of energy
Sunny blinked, head tilted to the left a bit at the fox's reaction to her calling him a bad liar. That was certainly strange. Normally when someone was called a liar, they would deny it. Instead, Hakuren was arguing that he was a great liar. She snorted in amusement, and noticed that the quiet cat must have taken it humorously too. "Eh? Yer a strange couple o' lads." The dedenne commented with a chuckle, nibbling on her berry. "Yer right. Not 'ny o' me business. Jus' curious." she added as the fox continued on. Her ears swiveled as he finally admitted they were supposed to be making friends. Did she just hear correctly? Just from the way they were to her, she could tell they could probably use some practice in making friends. The whole idea was rather funny though, and the rodent tumbled out of the bush, laughing her little tail off. "Heheheh~ R-really?!? Ya know ya should o' been kinder if yer tryin' tah make friends." she chittered merrily.

Hakuren would've reddened, if he'd had cheeks to show it. "W-what? You think that's funny?" He pawed the ground, anxious. He'd never been bad at anything before. "Well your not so great yourself, huh?" he huffed, pouting.
Shion himself was confounded by Sunny's laughing fit. Why...why was she laughing? He shuffled to Hakuren and leaned to whisper in his ear. Hakuren perked his head. "What? How do you make friends? Well, that's obvious. You just...it just...happens naturally..." Hakuren trailed off. He'd always had Arezu, and Shion and Raph just happened. He'd never had to make friends before, not really. "Um...uh...Well, since you sound like such an expert, Sun, how do you make friends?" Hakuren tried not to look it, but he was curious to hear her answer.
☆ ☆【Sweet Belle kept at a brisk pace as she and her Cyndaquil companion left the training area in favor of the food service section, making sure that she was able to walk quickly with the fiery mouse while at the same time still able to carry on their conversation as normal. Cyndaquil seemed curious when the Miltank brought up Irene, asking who she was.” She’s th’ ol’ woman that took care o’ me n’ Ky b’fore she dropped us off in this ‘ere Daycare, been stayin’ wit’ ‘er fer months after th’ farm I used t’ live on had me sen’ away since they apparently couldn’t ‘andle my ‘rebellious n’ rowdy’ behavior,”she responded with a nod, keeping her eyes ahead on the path,” She’s a nice lady, very kind n’ swee’, but she coul’ be pretty damn scary when she’s pissed off… She runs some kinda rehab or somethin’ fer Pokemon like myself n’ Ky, like fer abused n’ overly aggressive types. ‘Tis one o’ those kinda places ya wouldn’t end up in unless there was somethin’ really wrong wit’ ya, y’know?”Not that she was saying it was bad or anything, the place was actually quite nice and homey for a rehabilitation center. Certainly wasn’t as wide open and spacious as this Daycare, not by a long shot, but she had loved spending time there for the past several months. Her ears flicked slightly as Cyndaquil spoke up again in response to her comment about Kyra, agreeing with her statement about how it took time for someone to be able to change. Of course, there was likely no real reason that the Haxorus absolutely needed to change, as long as she wasn’t stressing herself out. Sweet Belle hummed thoughtfully and nodded in agreement, knowing that Cyndaquil did bring up a good point. She did notice that the fire mouse certainly seemed to be much more talkative after that whole workout routine she’d been doing, not that she really minded it that much. Truth be told, the Miltank was actually quite glad to have someone to talk with, it was a nice, refreshing change of pace since Kyra rarely gave time for what she called ‘idle chatter’. Some could argue that the Haxorus was a bit asocial at times, but it was more because she was concentrating on other things primarily rather than just not wanting to talk with others in general. Regardless, Sweet Belle was rather enjoying Cyndaquil’s company, and figured that it would be worthwhile to stick around with her fiery companion. As the topic of conversation shifted towards Cyndaquil’s partner, a Liepard named Lelanna, the Miltank blinked as the fire mouse pointed out her friend and pointed her nose in the direction. Sure enough, Sweet Belle could see the Liepard running across the grounds, and quirked a brow when she noticed the cat’s rather off coloring. She gave Cyndaquil an odd look, wondering why she didn’t call out for her partner for a moment. Then again, Lelanna looked like she was pretty busy, and probably didn’t want to be bothered with anything else as of right now.” Yer friend certainly seems quite interestin’,”the Miltank remarked with a nod as she watched the cat go off about her own business elsewhere,” I ain’t seen a lotta Liepards in my life far as I’m concerned, but I sure as ‘ell ain’t seen one that looked quite like ‘er, that’s fer damn certain!”Maybe Lelanna was some sort of special kind of shiny Liepard, that was the only viable explanation that Sweet Belle could come up with on the spot. Nevertheless, Cyndaquil seemed quite overjoyed at the prospect of food, doing a sort of happy dance as she rejoiced that the food was served as a buffet. Sweet Belle chuckled softly at the fire mouse’s comment about how she didn’t want to have to fight over standing in line to get fed. Of course, with how hungry she was, she didn’t mind at all that the food wouldn’t be anything fancy or served up on a silver platter like in some ritzy restaurant as long as it was edible. She hummed and nodded at the Cyndaquil’s comment in response to her statements regarding Kyra, saying that it was funny how the same kinds of beginnings still led to so many different personalities between Pokemon.” Hmmm, well I guess that’s one way o’ puttin’ it,”she commented in return as they neared the feeding stations. As they approached, however, the Miltank couldn’t help but notice a certain navy-colored Vulpix who happened to be eating at one of the food dishes nearby.” Well well, if it ain’t Mr. Fancy Pants,”she muttered with a smirk, though Cyndaquil seemed less-than-pleased when she spotted the Vulpix as well. The fire mouse bristled as she glared in his direction for a full minute before turning up her nose and heading off to find another food dish. Sweet Belle followed after her, glancing back towards the navy Vulpix a moment before looking back to Cyndaquil.” ‘Ey, if ya don’t mind me askin’, what exactly is the deal b’tween ya n’ that fire fox? Seems like some sorta rivalry or somethin’,”she asked curiously, wondering what exactly Cyndaquil’s beef with the guy was, no pun intended. Of course, she had gotten the gist that they didn’t exactly get along with each other since they’d been arguing after she and Kyra came in to fend off the Absol from them, but what exactly had caused this whole thing to begin with? She supposed that it had to do something with that white-furred mange-mutt, since those two had been near Ezio before he had broken loose from his chain. Despite Bao’s attempts to warn her and push her out of the way, Ezio was on Kyra’s back before she knew it, and she felt his teeth in her neck around the weakened area that he’d struck with his Megahorn earlier. It hurt, it really did… She roared, though it was more out of anger than pain. She wasn’t about to give him the satisfaction of using her pain as a weakness against her… Meanwhile, Bao and York Jr. had already vamoosed themselves from the area to take the injured Shine to safety. It was for the better, though, Kyra was no stranger to life-or-death battles or aggressive foes, and she knew that Shine needed medical attention as soon as possible or else he could risk bleeding out and dying. Knowing her companions were safe and well away, she focused on the battle as she thrust her back towards a tree in an attempt to shake Ezio off. She had expected him to leap off, since he likely wouldn’t risk himself getting smashed, but it seemed the Absol was getting rather confident in his tactics as he prepared to bite her again in her weak spot. However, he was too confident, and he was slammed right against the tree’s thick trunk, Ezio snarling as he fell to the ground.” Got a bit too greedy zhere, hm?”she thought to herself, stepping back a bit to prepare herself for whatever he would try to come at her with next. Ezio staggered to his feet, and glared at her as she taunted him, asking if he was too afraid to face her head on. The Absol grinned, saying that he wasn’t afraid, and that he wasn’t stupid either. The last time he had tried to face her head on, they had exchanged blow after blow and the fight had been getting nowhere fast, so he was shaking things up a little. Narrowing her eyes, she watched as he jumped behind the tree she had smashed him up against, his horn growing once again as a sign that he was preparing a Megahorn attack. Kyra took on a defensive position, preparing for if he would try to use the same tactic again to strike at her weak spot. However, it seemed Ezio had something different in mind as he used the attack to slice through the trunk of the tree. Kyra realized that he was going to try to pin her underneath the tree as he kicked it and sent it toppling down towards her, and she wouldn’t be able to get out from underneath it in time. Gritting her teeth, she held up her head towards the falling tree, hoping to catch it and hold it up using her blades to keep her from being completely pinned beneath it. However, it appeared she didn’t have to as the rangers showed up once again right on cue. One of them sent a Tropius to hold the severed tree up with its vines, allowing Kyra to quickly move out of the way of its intended path. It seemed that the noise from their fighting had drawn the rangers to them, and this time they were better prepared to handle the threat with their partner Pokemon at hand. Ezio was restrained with poles and ropes, and the rangers sent out their stylists to tranquilize the Absol. Unable to fight back like last time, Ezio succumbed to the calming energies of the rangers’ stylists as he slumped to the ground, weakly groaning out what sounded like someone’s name… Vesper? Who was this Vesper he was talking about? Were they perhaps his trainer? Somehow, Kyra doubted that any one trainer would be able to handle a wild beast like him, but still… Nevertheless, the rangers seemed to have everything under control as they began to drag Ezio away, but Kyra somehow felt that the Absol would find a way to break free again sooner or later. Right now, though, she felt that her next course of action would be to locate Bao and his companions, to make sure that Shine was being tended to before she went to look for Belle. For now, though, she felt that Ezio wouldn’t be a threat to anyone else on the grounds, but they would see how long that would last. Rubbing gingerly at the spot in her armor that Ezio had bitten, the Haxorus started a steady pace back towards the main grounds of the Daycare Center, keeping a close eye on the rangers all the while. After shaking herself off and taking a moment to stretch, Ampere was well on her way towards where she guessed the training area was. It wouldn’t hurt to get in a bit of exercise while she was here, right? It would certainly help to kill time while at the same time helping her toughen herself up. However, she paused momentarily when she caught a faint odor of something… blood? Had there been some sort of conflict around here? Ampere couldn’t help but feel a bit on edge at the thought, surely they didn’t allow extremely violent fights to take place on the grounds, right? She quickened her pace as she bounded over the grass and towards the training area, just to feel a bit more on the safe side.】☆ ☆

Her eyes scanned the Day Care as her tail lightly curled and patted against the ground. Now that she had spotted it, she was curious about that obstacle course, but she would work on her agility and such later. She wanted to focus on those confounded rocks, when she got back to it, and perhaps after she had cooled off from that again, she would go and check out what the course had to offer. Lelanna laid her head down, spotting Cyndaquil again, watching her as she went over to get... what? Food? A faitn smirk crossed her face when she saw that the darkly colored vulpix was there as well, the same one that had been caught up in that whole Absol mess. She had a distinct feeling Cyndaquil wouldn't enjoy sharing a meal with him.... but at least there was plenty of space. Not that the fire mouse couldn't use a little bit of testing.
Speaking of tests, though... Lelanna shifted, then pushed herself up to stand. Break time was over, it was about time she got back to work on those rocks. She wouldn't be able to take them on nearly as quickly, but at least it would be less painful. Hopefully.

Oddly at peace with the resolution to train, the liepard sashayed her way over to the rocks, then leaned down, before pushing off into a leaping stride and jumping to begin her path back up. She would be more cautious to avoid any sleeping rock pokemon, and, in fact, now that she was paying a bit more attention, it seemed there were quite a few of them around. Or they had simply increased in numbers since her last trip up. She could see a golem lifting rocks at the bottom, and the geodude she had... befriended still snoozing away. To her surprise, as weak as her legs felt, she was actually able to get to the top quite a bit more easily than before. At least that meant the training was probably starting to pay off quite a bit more.
