The young man was at least prepared, not counting the max revive he used; his pokemon were a decent level with some good moves under their belt. He wasn't sure why he had mentioned using Dragon Tail to switch the pokemon out, seeing as his pokemon was immune to dragon moves, but... Ah, well. The battle was nearly at an end. All he could do, for now, was try and deal what damage he could.

Hurrying back to the Pokecenter Simon had his team healed up before switching a few of them out. At first he wanted to get Dusknoir and Golurk out but he paused. If he tried for the other badges just for the prestige it might be fun and he could meet and speak with the Ghost gym leaders and anyone else who might know of Darkrai or Giratina. Because he wanted the diverse amount of ghost Pokemon he kept Greninja, Noivern and Abomasnow and took out Litwick, Carbink and Sableye the later was given his Mega Stone.

Gasping as her Pokemon fainted the girl, Julia, returned it. The next Pokemon she sent out was Amoonguss. The mushroom Pokemon was ready to take Abomasnow on. If the Pokemon was at a lower level he'd use the others but not here. For now it was Abomasnow or Noivern.
