If there was anything he was finding it was that he didn’t enjoy all these cocoons. Once more Sissil found himself swiping away strands of silk that had been caught up in his claws. He had to wonder if there was actually anything on the inside of those things; they were certainly weren’t anything he’d dealt with on a regular basis. No his kind preferred the rodent types wandering all over the place. He took the moment to glance around in search of the other ghost.
The Mismagius was nowhere in sight. Which was odd really, as Sissil had been certain he’d felt his presence right nearby just a moment before the battle. Had he flown off again without him noticing? And if so, well… that sucked. Sissil started to move through the forest again. Well, he’d just find his own way back. He didn’t need that brute of a ghost to figure it out. And hey, if he got lucky, maybe the guy would get in trouble for abandoning him in the forests in the first place! Actually, he should’ve just ditched the whole lot of them the way things were going.
But he still wanted to know how that guy did his tricks… that was the one reason the prankster was resisting just returning to his coven. As he flew he caught sight of something out of the corner of his eye hovering in a tree. He paused to take a look, finding not the other ghost but a Slakoth. Whatever.

"You’re going the wrong way." Sissil’s head spun around as the Slakoth disappeared, eyes narrowing as the Mismagius suddenly came into view. Where’d he come from?! Had he been around the entire time? Geez. Sissil frowned, arms folding over his chest.
"Really? " He didn’t want to admit in any situation that he was in fact, uncertain of which way he should’ve been going, or that the Mismagius had noticed. He shuffled a bit, turning around and floating in the right direction. The other ghost just kept a narrowed gaze on the Magikit, his expression still unreadable. The Magikit felt agitated once more.
"So what… was this the training?" He inquired, an eye narrowing as he half glared at the other pokemon. The other ghost seemed to tilt his head a bit, giving a curious gaze before beginning to float off in the proper direction. The Magikit frowned, floating after. "Did I pass or what…?"
"You’ll do fine… eventually." Was the only response he received back. The Mismagius flipped over again, glancing between him and then the shifting grass next to them. "There’s another worm in the grass, by the way. Take care of it and we’ll head back." It was about time they regrouped after all.

Faraday paused in all his furious scribblings, pen remaining pressed to the paper as he ripped his eyes up to observe his surroundings. He had to blink a bit to adjust his gaze; he’d been staring between the screen of his pokedex and his journal that the forest view was an abrupt change. He set the pen down between the pages to free up a hand, rubbing at his eyes a bit to help adjust. What time was it now? It seemed like only minutes had passed but he was fairly certain that wasn’t the case. He took a glance at his wrist for the time. Yup, time had definitely slipped away while he was thinking away.
The crick in his back told him as much as well. Recapping the pen and snapping the journal shut, he returned them to his bag, giving a stretch and a groan. Trees might’ve been nature’s beds for flying types but they failed horribly in the comfort department. He got to his feet, raising an arm over his head to stretch a little more. Ya, trees. Not on the comfortable list. That or he was just getting really old really fast.

"Bun! Buneary!" Faraday glanced down as Dresden chimed, appearing from the grass with Murphy in tow. He gave the pair a bit of a smile, lowering his arm and giving a brief wave of greeting.
"Right on time you two! Get a lot of training done?" He inquired, kneeling down to get a look. Murphy gave an excited chirp of greeting as he scratched her under the chin, Dresden huffing out his own chest with a bit of a nod. Ah yes, he could tell they’d gotten quite a bit of training in. A trip to the pokemon center was probably in order before they attempted the gym leader. That was no problem though; in fact it was a pretty standard trainer thing to do. You didn't just train and then rush off without resting up and all.
"Well, it’s good to see you’ve gotten stronger." He remarked, standing back to his proper height. Now he just needed Calcifer and Sissil to reappear and they could get a move on. Speaking of which, where were those two?

"We’re right here." No sooner had the detective thought the question, did the voice chime in his head. Faraday turned his head a bit, hands on his hips as both the ghosts floated into view as well. The smile that had previously occupied his face faded though at the sight of the rather miffed looking Magikit. Well that was certainly not the sight he expected. He turned and took a step or so in their direction, giving the Mismagius a questioning gaze before redirecting his to the Magikit.
"Sooo… how’d the training go?" He asked, gaze remaining on the ghost kitten as he voiced the question out loud. Sissil gave him a less than thrilled looked in his directions, arms still crossed over his chest as he shot a glare at the Mismagius. Calcifer ignored the look, keeping his attention directed on Faraday.
"It went well." Was his reply. Faraday’s gaze narrowed a bit, giving the Mismagius a questioning look. "Oooh really?" The detective didn’t sound to certain in his response, a hand raising and swiping through his hair. Dresden seemed to eye Calcifer with the same sort of skepticism, Murphy just watching everyone curiously. She noted most the agitation that seemed to be on Sissil’s face, head tilting a bit at the look. Calcifer paid no mind to this skepticism, giving a nonchalant glance at Sissil in response.
"He has a bit of an attitude is all. He’ll learn to get over it eventually." Faraday gave an ‘Are you kidding me?’ look at Calcifer who simply returned it with a gaze of his own before looping about and beginning to float in the appropriate direction out of the forest. Faraday shot Sissil a bit of a side glance, stepping over and whispering in a soft tone. "He’s a bit of an a*****e. You’re fine."

With is team collected and accounted for Faraday recollected his things, repacking everything nicely into his bag. He pulled the strap over his shoulder, glancing at the small group waiting right behind him as he did. "Alright all, let’s get a move on, hm?" He grinned, eyes scanning between each of them. Sissil had calmed down a bit, though seemed to be proceeding to hover closer to Dresden and Murphy, eyes still glancing every once in a while at the Mismagius hovering on his own. The other ghost didn’t seem to care; the Buneary was a little off put by the ghost kitten being so closed but the Mudkip was far more welcoming, giving little chirps of excitement in the Magikit’s direction.
"Alright, off to Rustboro then." He gestured, starting to return his way to the forest path in the direction of the aforementioned city, his team shuffling and floating behind. They’d make a quick stop at the pokemon center and, Arceus willingly, swing by and challenge the gym leader. He’d have to do a double check of his team before he did of course; a little research and he’d figured to give Murphy an extra move for a boost of power. He wanted to get through this right quick; after all, he really did have better things to do.

Over the river and through the woods, once more Faraday and his pokemon went. Some quick research and he'd found that the supposed next gym was in Dewford Town, which required they go back to Petalburg City and take a boat from there. That sounded good to him to be honest; it gave him a moment to think and plan and re-purpose himself for whatever would be next. He was still checking his wrist nonchalantly for a message, only to still be disappointed at the lack of response. Maybe he'd give Addison another call once he'd made it to the town. Or after he'd received another badge? He supposed that could be the new game; how many badges could he obtain before anyone actually gave him some work to do?

While Faraday led the way through, his pokemon trailed behind. Sissil had calmed down a bit as they progressed, whether it was the lack of Calcifer's presence or the high of having watched the battle finally wearing down was anyone's guess. Still, he'd taken to hovering close to Dresden and Murphy, curious cat eyes gazing at the white rabbit in particular. He'd seen Dresden's types before while his coven was roaming from place to place, but they'd all been brown in color. He'd seen one or two with pink fluff instead of the cream colored fluff, but for the most part they all looked the same.
So why was he so different looking? Where brown should've been was white, and where cream or pink should've been was black. And then his eyes were the fiercest of reds the Magikit had ever seen. He might've been unnerved if the pokemon hadn't seemed so calm and collected. He'd certainly handled himself without much of an issue when it came to the gym battle. And Murphy wasn't afraid. She was in fact very jolly, toddling along excitedly. Such an odd little Mudkip thing, wasn't she?

"What?" Dresden’s voice suddenly interrupted the Magikit’s thoughts. Sissil jumped a bit, his hover wavering a moment as he nearly went through the ground, correcting himself quickly. "Wha…?" He squeaked out embarrassingly as he corrected himself, paws floating up and adjusting the brim of his “hat” as eyes glanced to Dresden. The Buneary frowned a bit, an eyebrow quirking as he observed the ghost pokemon. What exactly was going through his mind as he did, Sissil didn’t know and eventually the poor kitten ghost became unnerved, redirecting his gaze off into the forest instead. Murphy had glanced back at the two curiously, head tilting slightly in curiosity at the brief interaction. When the silence fell though she opted instead to skip her way in front of their trainer, giving a little cry to be picked up.
"Mmm?" Faraday snapped out of his thoughts to pause and glance down at Murphy as she blocked his way, head tilting slightly before a slight grin crossed his face. He knelt down and scooped her up, letting her resume her designated place in the front of his shirt, much to her delight before he continued to walk. Dresden only slowed his steps slightly as this occurred, not even looking at Faraday or Murphy as it occurred. Sissil however watched with a hint of confused interest. That mud fish hadn’t been on the team long, from what he’d gathered and already she was getting what she wanted from this guy? A paw gently rested over his mouth as he thought. Hmm…

Entering into Petalburg woods with hearts filled with trepidation from the victory of catching the lotad and the victory's still to come the twins had set out to begin their training in order to beat the Petalburg city gym leader. Sin after catching the two new grass types had been looking online via the Poke'gear for battle strategy's they could use n order to beat her. So far though it had turned up little to no results. The Petalburg woods weren't the scary place their mother had lead them to believe. True to her words it was dark and the under brush thick but in mid winter any tree's thats weren't ever greens where stripped of its leaf's allowing sunlight to cascade to the forest floor. Perhaps in the summer or spring it would be "scary". At worst it was cold and windy but the twins had already set up a warm camp for the days to come. They intended to stick around until thy had trained to their hearts content.
Oddly enough though a large number of bug type pokemon where still up and active despite the cold. Most of them stuck to the tree tops and bush's but ever now and now a wurmple would slink out from behind the camp to spy of the two.

Neither sibling being anything close to a survivalist and having a very limited knowledge of what to do or how to do it quickly found living on the road was about as easy as baking a pie without an oven, but had managed to make due quit well none the less. The twins shared a tent, though it had a dividing wall built in to give each their person space and privacy. Sin had managed to start a fire with Nis's help collecting rocks and twigs to keep it both contained and feed. Once they felt they had everything squared away had started of clearing a spot to battle. "Ninjsask, Scratch !" Nis yelled and her speedy bug zipped into action but as was always the case bounced off its opponents shell. "Sorry sis but you'll have to do better then that !" Sin remarked. "Now Shedinja, Bug bite!" The slower but no less formitable ghost bug type launched into its counter attack. The attack landed and the already warn out Ninjask fainted for what had to have been the eight time in a row. "No fair your cheating some how !" Nis whined loadly. "No im not. Shedinja just have a natural defensive ability that protects them from a lot of moves." Sin remarked smuggly. "Then how im i supposed to beat you ?" SNis asked defeated emotionally "Your not, that's the point" Countered Sin still as smug. "Then your cheating !" Nis repeated stomping her foot aggravated at her continued defeat "Im not !"

"How was that a fair battle?" Nis remarked clearly upset with her brother. Tailing him with her Ninjask and Plusle on a shoulder each. "Its not supposed to be. What you think the gym leaders just going to hand us a badge? You'ed have known how to get through a Shedinja's defenses had you studied in trainers school." Sin countered calmly as he sat down by the fire having just returned his Shedinja. His Minun like Nis's Plusle sat atop his shoulder. "Hay i had better grades then you mister i dont know what your talking about." Nis said pumping a fist onto each hip and leaning over to face her brother t his level without sitting. "What do you think painting stars and swirls on pokemons going to do in a battle ?" Sin had a point and was keen to make it known. Nis took her defeat and stormed off out of camp. Sin didn't bother chasing after her. This was a normal sibling's spat for them. Nis would return and Sin would say sorry and all would be forgiven or fogotten.
Come dusk in fact Nis returned having walking the edge of the camp for nearly two house. "So how do we beat them then ?" She asked calming pulling a thin jacket off and letting it fall to the floor of the tent before changing into her night cloths. Sin had already gotten changed and was warming something to eat over the fire. "Well Isis said they use rock types right? Well our Lotad and Seedot would be out best chance but neither knows any water of grass type moves." He said pulling a pot of backed beans out of the fire and setting it on the ground to cool before setting plats. "We need to train them first." Nis took the seat next to her brother on the log that was their makeshift chair. Leaning into her brother resting her head onto his shoulder. "Then we'll begin tomorrow."

The next morning the Siblings, dressed and feed, where straight into training again. Each having picked their grass type, Lotad and Seedot. Neither was winning any ground over the other and after only a short hour's worth of battling the two pokemon simply couldn't go on. Forced for rest the duo packed camp and set off deeper into the woods seeking to either escape the thick canopy of now budding tree's or find a better camping site to train at for a while. A cold chill had settled over the forest. Most of the bug type pokemon had fled back to the warmth of their homes. Nis and Sin eventually found a rather large brake in the tree's that opened into a open space with a few large rocks in the center. The grass was short and the tree's here where evergreens so they helped buffet the wind blowing through the rest of the woods helping to keep this spot warmer and bright. This was the perfect place to set camp again. Ill set camp if you want to collect firewood sis ? Sure, i can do that.

Testing each cord and making sure it wasn't to tight or lose according to the sound it made as he plucked them. Nis was a natural cook, much better then her bother ever was. Even with the few things at her disposal she was able to make a rather good smelling soup out of some potato's, carrots and cream of chicken broth. "Ummmm smells great sis, what is it ?" Sin inquired after finishing with his instrument and setting it aside. It wasn't night yet but the sun was beginning to set. Pretty soon the night pokemon would start coming out. Neither has done any training during the day, aside from the normal move practices. "Its noting big. Just a soup. We'll need to head into Rustbro city tomorrow though. We need to buy more food." Nis remarked as she set two bowls out and broke a loaf of bread between them and their pokemon. "We're going to ave to share with the pokemon too. There wasn't enough feed pellets to go around evenly so i spread it as i could." Nis handed her brother the bowl and then set a plate aside from Plusle and Minun who jumped right into stuffing the faces. The twins stared at them a second before turning to face each other and bursting into laughter.
After dinner, with the pokemon feed and night fully upon them they retired into the tent for the night. Sin taking his guiter with him to practice a slow and melodic tune that eventually lulled his sister into slumber. She laid curled up inside her sleeping, her head resting just over the edge of her side and onto his pillow. "night sis."

Releasing the duo of Ralts for their second battle under the Twins command they where confronted with two scavenging pokemon. A bird ad a sloth. Sin looked highly disappointed, as if he had been expecting a monster or something. Nis didn't seem phased, she just wanted them gone. the Slakoth had other plans though, and the Tailow followed suit ... "Go, Confusion!""Go, Confusion!"
