Zinder's ears twitched and she slowly got up from her meditative state, slowly walking and hiding behind Colson. "I don't know anything about partners, do you Colson?" She asked him quietly.

Colson stirs a bit, mostly trying to keep watch over the whole of the area. " 'probably means someone to connect too. like Zukiel and the little black guy." He gives one last look around, and visibly relaxes. "also, i'm going to assume the village overreacted. i doubt this guy means trouble."
(btw, red dragon is red. not sure if he'd ever mention it or relevantly note it otherwise.)

The tiny dragon looked around in the air for a long moment, then it looked back to the group again as it spoke in the mind, "Not me. I am not a danger, but others have been hunting me."

Zukiel held his arm out, smiling. "Then, perhaps it's time you traveled with people who will protect you." he said. "I know dragons sometimes need a partner, much like Sho here."
The tiny black dragon poked out from the black clothing, and slid out, staring at the female dragon. He chirruped fondly at her, waving his tail a little.

Livian stared at the dragon, which was a crimson red color to her. "Wait, you can talk to all of us? How is that possible? I don't know how to speak Dragon."

The dragon blinked a few times, looking around. Then it replied in everyone's mind. "I do not speak. I merely think aloud and people can hear my thoughts. I am a Psi dragon, I link the minds of those nearby to each other. Or...at least open their minds to each other, so if people wanted to they can delve into someone else's mind with no resistance if they truly wanted." The dragonlet looked into the sky. "That's why the others don't like me. They feel I breach the laws of dragons and humanoids."

Zinder shivered at that news. "Being in people's heads sounds like it could be scary. Wouldn't it be scary if you found out secrets without meaning to?" She asked softly, not really expecting an answer.
"If you need help to find your partner though, I guess I don't see a problem with helping. Do you Colson?"

Colson shifts a bit uncomfortably. "delving into my mind...." then shakes his head. "well, we kind of burned a few bridges with the peasents getting here, and a new change of pace is probably in order." he looks at the dragon. "why not. I'll help you out. guess that leaves Livian. want to follow us for this story?"

"Story?" she asked, perking up. Then she grinned, with her eyes almost sparkling. "Yes... Yes! A story! An epic story!! AHAHAHAH!"

The small dragon looked around awkwardly, before looking down into the water, "Well...now you know why no one likes me... You're mad...aren't you, Colson?"

Zukiel chuckled a little and lightly stroked the little dragon's head. "It's alright. I'm used to this. Though, I'm glad I have a girl dragon talking to me, and not a little perv."
Sho shot Zukiel a glare, then shrugged and continued to sit beside the female dragon.

Zinder shook her head. "No no! I think he just is nervous. He wasn't exactly accustom to me when we first met. I think he likes you, just a little nervous. At least, I think. I could be wrong..." She started wondering off trying to decide if that is true or if she was just defending her friend, not paying attention to where she was going.

Livian grinned a toothy grin at the dragon and said, "And I don't really care. I already got a spirit animal dwelling inside of me. The voice of a dragon would be pretty cool." Without her knowing, Livian sprouted her wolf tail, swishing it around happily.
