If you mean will it make Gaia stop selling gold gens, it's possible, but not necessarily a guarantee, since I'm not sure if it's possible that every Gaian will stop buying/using them. HOWEVER, every Gaian that refuses to buy them ensures that less and less excess gold is pumped into the economy, which can help to keep it at least somewhat stable. However, if you're going to buy something from the cash shop, buying items just makes more sense overall, because they're really pricey [and everything sold in the MP helps sink 5% of whatever the item is sold for, which again helps the economy!]. So, basically, it might not bring about the complete cessation of gold gen productions, BUT it most definitely will avoid further harming the economy of Gaia. To give you a more specific example of the damage GGs have done; Horns of the Demon, before hyperinflation hit [which started in October of 2013], were about.... 8-10mil, and that was quite pricey for an item. 1-3bil was reserved for practically the most legendary of items, such as an Angelic Halo. The current price of Horns of the Demon, just over a year after they were 8-10mil and the release of GGs, is currently 266bil. Now, considering that Gaia has increased the payout of things like the daily chance, switchem, posting, etc, prices will never go down to where they used to be, but hopefully we can still bring the prices down a bit, or at least stop them from inflating further at a rate which no average user can keep up with.

I do not like gold generators. It is a cheap way for the company to make money at the cost of the economy. They should sell items only. The price of an item can dramatically change from day to day. That is a bad sign. ;__;

Yes, but Golden Lucky Spin is a unique case because it costs gold. It removes some gold from the economy when it's purchased, unlike other gold generators from the Cash Shop, which produce gold without removing any from the economy. From what I've heard, all gold generators are a fool's gamble, and you end up losing more than you win. So, if someone spends, say, 10 billion on Golden Lucky Spins and only gets 6 billion back, then 4 billion was removed from the economy; as far as I can tell, that's a good thing.babyscarlet25 Is Golden Lucky Spin an example of a gold generator?

Updated!
To respond to you, cristina: If even one person chooses not to further poison the economy with gold generators, then I find this campaign successful. This thread is an attempt to educate NSTGers about very real issues that plague the wider Gaian community and affect their online experience, and give them the intellectual tools to make a difference.
