Suzume snarls at Zero's spirit as soon as he said something about father. She starts to shake with anger and she shoves thoughts into Zero's head. Don't say anything to Akane.... I need to get rid of him myself... And I can handle the books myself.... Suzume holds the spirit book tightly in her arms and she goes toward the middle of the floor wanting to gain her darkness mark. Suzume reaches out to touch the book of Darkness, it ensnares Suzume in a black mist. She starts to laugh and her eyes glow red as she embraces her element. Just need to.... ow... the mark.... Suzume slams her foot on the ground and the dark mist pushes away, but it starts to spin wildly. Suzume raises her arms and the darkness pools inbetween her hands. She starts to shake tremble and sweat as she makes the mist form into a spike in between her hands. When the mist is gone Suzume grabs the spike and stabs her palm with it. The wound bleeds and the spike melts flowing into Suzume's blood stream. She smiles as a mark forms where the spike was. The mark of darkness. She wipes off excess blood and goes to read the book of Spirit wanting to know what she could do. The Darkness book lays at her feet ready to be read when she finishes. I'm going to kill him.... one way or another...


Akane purrs when Zero kisses her neck, she listens and smiles recalling the two men she had helped and the scars that ran down Zero's face. Akane closes her eyes and tries to remember what her mother said. Always becareful and always show love to others. Akane had followed those words at every chance she could take, even when she was hunting to keep her mother fed. It resulted in Akane rescuing a cougar and having a pet and Akane nearly giving her life to protect her mother, but it wasn't enough. Akane shuts her eyes trying to push back the bloody memory. Akane looks up at Zero and gives a warm smile. She kisses Zero's nose and snuggles against his chest. I pick at Zero's shirt and I feel thankful. "Zero... Thank you... if it wasn't for you I would never have found out who I am.... or have my sister back..." Akane purrs softly and looks out toward the window wondering what would have happened if she hadn't met Zero.

Suzume shook her head and threw a cloud of dark mist around her. This is something of the darkness. First off you don't seem to understand my kind do you? There are certain demons who cannot handle Darkness, Spirit, or Light. That type of demon is Akane, but I can't handle the Elements like she can nor will I ever be able to even touch it without burning up...... Second is I need this book to be able even think about defeating my Father. He is a gifted Demon that can only handle the Elements. I will need Light soon as well to be able to get him. She raises her arms and curls her hands trying to make the smoke form into a ball in front of her. She kept one hand cupped around the dark ball of most and forms another one made of light in the other hand. I am a pure breed and I don't need the marks to handle my elements, but Akane needs them. Suzume lets the most and light wrap around her. The two elements lift her off her feet and cradle her. She sighs and extends her arm holding light. The light spreads and wraps around the book, she lifts it and throws it into the library. [colpr=red]I'll learn on my own... I can't risk Akane... Suzume begins to practice.


Akane smiles and snuggles against Zero. She smiles at his words and purrs at Zeros touch. Akane closes her eyes and enjoys the warmth but after a few moments she felt something. She tilts her ears and feels tremors through out the room. Akane pushes Zero away and listens carefully but she couldn't hear anything but she could feel movement. Akane closes her eyes and reaches to touch the ground. She could feel the tremors again and feel in which direction it came from. "Suzume.... Umm Zero... Akane rushes to her closet and changes into her normal clothing. The Earth rune glows brightly as she taps into her elemental magic.

After Mizoky's done, Nana held her gun using her left hand and stood ready. When Mizuki released the clay pigeons, Nana shot them in quick succession, missing one due to gunpowder burn. In the end, she hit the same number of clay pigeons as Mizoky.

"Did you time our rounds, Mizuki-kun?" Nana asked.
"I did! Mother finished in 4 minutes, 12.69 seconds. Mizoky-san finished in 4 minutes, 14.50 seconds." Mizuki replied. Nana doubted his words a little.
Suddenly, she found a piece of paper stuck on Mizuki's tail. It said
"Mizoky-san's time = 4:14:50 ; Nana-san's time = 4:12:69"

"We don't know what else to do." Nana said.
"What can you suggest?" Mizuki said.

Suddenly, Mizuki heard a rather loud screech-like sound from a distance and collapsed on the ground.
"OWWW! My four ears are hurting....help..." Mizuki said while wrapping his fox ears with his scarf and covering his human ears with his hands.
"Mizuki-kun..." Nana said while licking Mizuki's cheeks.

When he saw the barrier, Mizuki removed the scarf from his head and said "I have rather acute hearing so I sometimes suffer from sensory overload. Normally, I can either cast a spell to filter out the excess background noise, and to reduce the distortion I hear when people talk to me, or I wear earplugs in my humans ears. I thought I could do this without hurting my ears."

Nana then grabbed a pair of noise-cancelling headphones from her sleeve and said "The sounds from earlier didn't fazed him because he's used to them. Also, Mizuki is immune to charm-based spells and he once had a traumatic encounter with a siren."

Nana then cleared her throat and explained "I didn't like Zero when I first saw him.He came to finish a deal with an angel, technically a fallen angel, and he forced me to change into my fox form and placed a muzzle on me when I said a sarcastic remark. After I was freed, he said that he wanted me as a pet. My friend Karasu-kun trusts him for some reason. To avoid casualities, I followed Zero along with Akane-chan(the lady you saw at the library). I thought I was going to be treated as a slave or something but when he showed traces of kindness, I decided to stay. He reminded me of my first master when I was just an ordinary fox."

Nana then cleared her throat again. Mizuki then explained "I actually don't know much about Zero, except for the things that mother said. She wanted me to properly introduce myself to him but with all that's happening, it may take a while."

At Mizoky's signal, Nana quickly grabbed Mizuki's hand and the two ran towards the trees. They both climbed a tall tree to see what's happening.
"WOW! Mizoky-san use ice magic. Can you do that mother?" Mizuki asked.
"I can but I don't use it the same way he does. Best I can do is conjure a snowstorm." Nana said. She then found a kodama on the tree she's sitting on and started playing with it.

Akane covered her rune feeling a bit embarrassed. She could still feel the tremors and decided to go on. She lifts her arms to the sky and thrusts them down to make a hole appear in front of them. Akane jumps into the hol and drags Zero with her, knowing that whatever Suzume was messing with he would be able to help. The hole closes up over their heads and a piece of earth floats just above the small cave Akane made. She does a quick spin and thrusts her arms forward making the piece of earth move forward. As they move forward the earth moves back into place behind them making it look as if no one had passed through. As Akane and Zero appear in the training room Akane started to shake. She could feel the darkness but also the light. Akane got closer to Suzume and reached out to hold her hand. She gave a warm smile and sent out ice to form on her skin so she wouldn't feet hurt.

Suzume had been playing with darkness and light but as soon as Akane appeared she froze. She knew Akane would come, but not in this form. She admired the brown and green aurora glowing from inside Akane. A normal would never glow like that unless they had mastered the element. Suzume shook her head in awe and looked toward Zero. Akane wouldn't know why she was doing this and would only think of it as practice. Suzume grabbed a hold of Akanes hand as she floated back down. They both gave a nod and pushed each other 25 meters away from each other and prepared to fight.

Akane had shards of earth and ice around her already pelting down on Suzume but Suzume evaded all of the shards and bounced off each of them to gain a height advantage. Suzume flew down and wrapped her arm in darkness wanting to punch Akane but Akane was swallowed by the ground. They went back and forth fighting and learning what they could do with their elements. Little by little Suzume was gaining the advantage but only because of her blood enhancing her attacks.
