Ritic blushed lightly. "Thank you..." He couldn't help his blush he liked Ephira a lot. "May we eat something now? Its getting dark and I...." He hates the dark much like how he hates storms. And speaking of storms He heard thunder rolling along the sky.

Kassandra stepped into the area, wearing more common clothing. The assassins clothes she had adorned was still made of the finest silks and jewels. Sweat glistened on her brow and she looked as though she had just fought an army on her own. Her arm had a decent size scratch on it and she was holding it to stop the bleeding. She smiled weakly when she saw them. "Well. I see the training is going well. Time to get cleaned up. I shall see you both at dinner in a few moments." She said softly. Her smile waned a bit as she turned to leave. Carmaen appeared behind the queen and ushered her off to her chambers.

Ritic saw Kassandra and how badly she was banged up. But he didn't want to ask too many questions. Blindly walking to his room to change into a relaxing green tunic thats embroidered in gold with a long sleeved black stretchy shirt along with sweat pants that match his under shirt before he walks down for supper.

Ephira watched Ritic leave the room to get freshened up. "He will be wonderful for this country." She said to herself as she finished cleaning up the kunai and other weapons they used over their training period that day.
She entered the dining room in a light blue mandarin styled dress that was decorated with tiny purple lilies. Her hair was done up in dozens of tiny braids and was twisted into a loose bun. She seated herself on the left hand side three seats down from Kassandras seat at the head of the table.

Carmaen helped Kassandra to her seat, before seating Ritic to the right of the Queen. Kassandra was in one of her royal gowns again. This time it hid her arms and back, hiding the extent of her wounds she had suffered. It had been her own fault. But those who knew the queen well, knew she did not tolerate others handling problems that she was capable of taking care of. The traitor that had been in the palace was gone for good. Kassandra had made sure of that. Now she only needed to pull Ephira to the side after dinner and speak with her on the matter.

Ritic looked around feeling completely under-dressed for the occasion since hes practically in his sleepwear but he has his hair brushed and his ear cuff shines in the light there is. Looking around then to his lap and he stays quiet.

Kassandra glanced at her guests as dinner was served. Her plate was loaded with fresh fruits and a small portion of meat. the others were left to serve themselves. She gave Ritic a soft smile, encouraging him to eat as much as he wanted.

Ritic looked at the foods with big eyes. Man he was hungry after training. "Man this looks soo good!" He was excited, since hes only lived off scraps his entire life.

Ephira couldn't help but smile at his eagerness. It was nice to see him getting more comfortable with the new life he was thrust into. She got her plate and filled it with fruit and vegetables, per her vegetarian diet. She sat quietly with the others. After a few minutes she broke the silence, "So his first day went very well miss." She said to Kassandra.

Ritic basically dove into the fruits and left the meat for last since thats what hes used to eating. Having weird tastes in food combos he puts apple slices peanut butter and bananas on wheat bread and munches.

Ephira cleared her throat. "Your highness what is next for our new family member? He can't possibly train all day every day."

Ritic quietly munched on his sandwhich waiting for her majesty to talk. Thinking to himself 'If this is how its going to be everyday im not going to be able to keep up...' He looks down to his plate then to Ephira. "May I be excused?" He asks politely not sure if its alright to move away from the table when her majesty Kassandra hasn't even said one word yet.

Kassandra sighed. "Well. In between his studies and training, he will accompany me to the city below. He needs to be around the festival more. Otherwise he will be free to spend time in the palace library or just wander the halls. There are plenty of areas to explore and many things to do. The stables can teach him horsemanship and other things. It is up to him." She said before turning to Ritic. "Yes young kingling. You may be excused. Do as you wish for the rest of the night." She said softly. "Ephira... I will need to speak to after dinner." She said, before slowly consuming her meal.

Ritic looked down at his plate before standing up just leaving it there knowing theres gotta be butlers or maids to clean it up. 'Maybe i shouldn't have left since Ephira looked....pissed...' He thought to himself and made his way to the court yard to find fireflies dancing about.
