So many questions! It took a moment for Ardea to process each one, and he strove to answer each in turn, relying on his impeccable memory not to omit any of them.
"Yes, they wrote many books. And I imagine it takes quite a long time to write a book...my father once told me a single tome could take him as much as ten years to write, if little of note happened in the Sun Court during that time. Scribes write down what happens, but they don't make history...they watch, and reflect, and write down what they have seen as well as they can.
"My name is Ardea, and I can't say I've spoken to Miss Ursa at length, but she must be very nice."
His manners kicking in, he added, "It's a pleasure to meet you, little Miss Lutra." Closing the book he had been looking through, he handed it down to her. It had been misplaced, half hidden between a work on carpentry and one on various pottery techniques. "Smithery, for those just starting out"
"Perhaps this one will be useful to you...I can't say I know much about smithery, but it seems to have diagrams, at least."

Lutra's eyes widened. "Ten years?" That was a very long time. It must be a boring job then, to work on the same book for ten whole years. Well, she would try not to be too rude... he might like to write books like that himself if that's what his parents did.
"Miss Ursa is very nice," she nodded. "Is everyone else that nice? Are there a lot of fey living in the castle? Nice to meet you, too!" She took the book and opened it, looking at the diagrams. "Thanks! This book looks lots better than the other ones."
Now that she had what she needed, she thought she would like to explore the castle a little more soon. Maybe he knew where fun places were? "Where do you like to go besides the library?" And maybe she'd go back to the smithy... though, she'd been trapped there for so long, she was almost afraid to return there. She hesitated, quieting. She didn't want to look like she was scared, she was a big girl, but...
"If I go back to--to where I came out of the window--I can't get put back in it, can I?" So much time trapped, and she'd only been free for mere days. She was so glad to be able to move again, and run. She'd always been an active child, and she was still a little nervous. "I mean, that's never happened to anyone here, right?"

Again with the barrage of questions! Ardea was going to have to start carrying a pencil and paper around him whenever he talked to this little one - if she asked many more in one breath, even his flawless memory wouldn't be able to keep track of them.
"I don't know a lot of the fey, I've been very busy helping, and recently looking for, my Kithain. But there seem to be a lot more than there were since the time I was freed from my window. And you're welcome."
Where did he like to go? Ardea practically lived in the library, or in his chambers...but he couldn't leave the question not answered, and he would sound stupid if he admitted that this was nearly the only place he went. "Well...the gardens are very nice..." he said, faltering somewhat.
He smiled at her next question, relieved to not have to elaborate further. "My window was right..." Ardea walked ten paces, looking around at each of the window, trying to remember which had been his own. He didn't often like to think about it, after all. "..there," he decided finally, pointing at it. "I wouldn't come here so often if I thought someone could put me back in, so I don't think you need to worry."

Looking for his Kithain? Lutra hoped hers would come back and stay this time, and she wondered if many Kithain vanished. "Where did your kithain go? Did you find them? Are they nice like Miss Ursa'a kithain or do they go away a lot like mine?"
She hoped that there would be more children, if there were a lot more fey than he remembered. Surely there was at least one more fey her age in the entire Court? Well, it didn't make much difference. The big people around here didn't talk to her like she was stupid, and that was good. So maybe it wouldn't matter so much.
"I like gardens, kind of. When they have good places to hide, like in-- well I need to see them again," she broke off, deciding it was best not to elaborate for now. If her hiding places were still there, well. She might get back to her old tricks eventually. If there were fey who would think it was funny too, and not get too mad, though. She hoped there would be some like that, who liked funny things.
Her eyes widened as she looked at where Ardea's window had been, her momentary nervousness once again gone, replaced by cheerful curiousity. "That's good, because I wouldn't like to stay away from there! Not if I want to make things." And well, Miss Ursa had said the bad people couldn't get here, right?

"I'm afraid I haven't found him yet; he's probably somewhere in Gaia, far from the portal. Kuyalu is...nice enough, when you get to know him. He's a bit bossy until you do, though. He was around here quite a bit at first, then he just...vanished."
So she liked hiding and making thhings, and was willing to work her way through stuffy books. Lutra was a very interesting child, indeed.
"I hope you learn to make many wonderful things. It's been a long time since anyone has used the smithy."

Bossy? Lutra could be bossy, too. And she was used to people trying to boss her around because she was smaller. That was why she learned to play tricks. But it made her feel a little better to know that her kithain wasn't the only one who wasn't around.
"I hope I make good things, too! But it's very dirty in there now, so it will take a long time to start." She would manage, though. She was suddenly impatient to get started and gathered up the books she would be taking with her. "I want to take these back... I'll see you later!" She remembered to add, "and thank you for helping. I'll show you what I make, okay?" and turned to carry the books off to her rooms.

"Farewell, and you're welcome," Ardea said, giving the girl a small wave as she left. "Now, where was I..." he muttered to himself, and got back to what he had been doing.

Ursa took the familar route into the library, one she had used since being a kid. Sliding the doors open, she invited Lilium in behind her, keeping the door open so she could get past with ease.
"Right!" She mused, finger up in air a little.
She began to scan the library, just standing there, looking from wall to wall, book to book. She wouldn't have a closer look until she found the section.
H was for health. And the health section had to be around somewhere.

*lilium sat down at a table watching Ursa. Chuckling slightly as she looked around. She must have startled her with the revelation. She should know the place like the back of her own hand* Is there anything I could do to help?

She stuttered a bit at first, launching herself at the H section, and hopelessly scanning for pregnancy books. "O-o-oh... No. I don't think so.." She nodded, peeking out from one of the sides to the stand, skipping around childishly with a book in her grasp.
"Found one!" She felt quite accomplished, tossing her hair back behind her shoulders, and trodding back to the library table, sitting aside Lilium.
Pages...
She flicked through it rapidly, a blur of words appearing underneath her. Licking her finger, she stopped the page instantly. "H...AH! Here we go!" She slid it down in front of the two, so they could both read it together.
She skimmed past the definition immediatly, she just wanted to skip to the juicy parts, and as how and what to do during it. "Hmmm..." The Fey hmm'd in an unsatisfied way, pushing a fist underneath her jaw, and staring down.
"... How long do you think you've been er.. Pregnant... Now?" She drew a piece of parchment from the middle of the table, and pulled at a quill, taking some quick notes. "It says here that... Babies kick.. Have you felt anything yet?"
"... It also says..." She paused, turning her attension from the parchment, and back to Lilium. "Pregnancy is usually a period of up to... Nine months... If this is correct..." She hmmm'd again, raising an eyebrow, eagerly waiting to take more notes.

No. I have not been kicked. And I am unsure of how long its been. It had to be before Cervus left though. *She thinks to herself of the times her and Cervus had been together. It wasn't many times. He was always so busy. But he is the King afterall*
*She looks down at the book and glances over the information hoping to gain some insight herself*

"Um.." She blinked quite confusedly, and scanned the information quickly. "Do you think we should just?" She lowered her tone a little. "Play this by ear? I mean.. You can pay me a vist everytime something happens to you? Like, if something kicks? If something happens to you? Mentally? Physically? Whatever..."
She nodded.
"Maybe I could make a diary of it for other Fey too when they become pregnant... Um... I understand if you don't want to do this. I mean. This hasen't happened before has it?" She scratched at her temples uneasily.
"But I mean.... Maybe this would help future Fey if we did it?"
"We already know how to -- ... And how the baby comes out." She pointed to one of the pictures on the page, and chuckled a little nervously.

*She chuckles softly* If you think it could help I guess I would be ok with that. I was just hoping you could mkae sure everything was good. That the baby was healthy. *she rubs her belly as the unborn fey inside stirs*
Whatever you feel is best to do. We will do it. I have complete faith in you.

"Alright!" She smiled blissfully, peering over the book one last time and snapping it shut. "I'll take this." She gripped it in her hand, before getting up and tucking the chair back under the table.
"Should you need me. Should anything you think should be noted. Should anything happen you think I ought to look at. You know where you find me." She smiled once more.
"Oh and... Record anything, everything. If you can, make up a diary of your thoughts, feelings and things that go on with the duration of the pregnancy. That'd be really good."
"You know where to find me!"
Ursa left the library hurridly.
