I like the sound of Hitomi/Ein. I am aware that Ein and Hayate are the same person, yes, but when Hayate was Ein, he trained at Hitomi's father's dojo. So they sort of know each other. It could work. ninja
Tina and Zack would be a decent couple as well. He does flirt with her in DOA2 ultimate.
I can't think of anyone for Helena or Christie or Genfu or Bass. Though when I first played tag battle mode on DOA 3 I thought Bass and Tina were going out. You just don't touch your dad like that, you know?
Hayabusa and Kasumi would make a great couple, though. They're even tag battle partners! heart

Ok the only one I could really see working well, is
Lei Fang x Hitomi , no no not a perverted fantasy I really think they are meant for each other, they get along so well and their personalities match.
and Lei Fang x Jann Lee leads to disaster, Lei Fang is drooling for Jann but Jann see's her as a little sister he wants to watch grow strong

First off, I'd have to disagree with all comments about Lei x Jann. For one, Jann finds her as an annoyance. For two, Jann Lee is a mysogynistic butthead, and the only female he is remotely nice to is Hitomi. And that's a mutual respect thing.
As for pairings... -hits anyone who says any ninjaxninja crap that isn't AyanexRyu.-
Hitomi/Ein (Hayate) - This pairing is adorable. It's clear they care about each other, even if Hayate doesn't show it too much. Snaps for Hitomi for joining the DOA to bring him back to Germany. TWICE.
Ryu/Ayane - Ugh. This pairing is so cute, even though Ayane is underage by American standards. However, since the game is made in Japan, but Japanese developers, and the age of consent in that country is 13, this is A-okay by me.
Helena/Lei Fang - I love Helena to bits. She's just so gorgeous (I can't believe that Ayane's breasts are bigger than hers, though. x.x). And Lei Fang does flirt with her. I think they'd be adorable together.
Tina/Elliot - I don't know much about Elliot, but I think he's kinda cute.
Kasumi/Hitomi - I actually think this is cuter than LeixKas or KasxRyu. They're both the 'innocent' girls of DOA (though, Hitomi does the innocent thing much better, IMO. She's not a panty-flasher, and she's LEGAL IN EVERY COUNTRY!).
I actually don't see too much potential for shounen-ai/yaoi in DOA. I love yaoi, don't get me wrong, but... honestly...
