Truth or Dare

Mimsy stuck her tongue out at Maebe again.

No, wait - that was the bug again. She let it crawl back out and held out her palm, which it dutifully fell into. Her 'friend' had done a very good job, so she tucked it back into her hair, allowing it to comfortably enjoy the rest of its short insectoid lifespan.

Truth or Dare

The slow clap was met with a smile and a little bow, because Mimsy was incredibly pleased with herself.

She knew that she'd earned this victory, and she took her prize more smugly than she should have, failing to look at what she held in her hand. Instead of taking another wine cooler, she got a beer this time, and those certainly didn't taste the same.

After staring at the bottle that betrayed her for a long, long time, she sipped it again, much more carefully.

Blind Date Booth



When she was drunk enough to think it was a good idea, Mimsy stealthily made her way to the booth.

She crawled. And it was obvious.

Before she allowed herself to be blindfolded, she mentally debated whether or not this was breaking any kinds of rules, occasionally mumbling a word or two aloud. Ultimately, it seemed okay, so she let herself be spun around and awkwardly stuck the sticker on the nearest surface.

The boy on the poster was not someone she had met - it was useful in the sense that it was a reasonably good start, but the correlating downside was that she now had a large picture of someone.

Gross.

She wrinkled her nose and slowly folded up the poster, tucking it into her coat when it was more reasonably-sized. Blindfold in hand, she clumsily turned to leave the booth again, but paused when she caught a glimpse of someone familiar. Curious, she tried to squint past the blur of intoxication. When that was ineffective, she just leaned in really close.

Rin's Arrival

Passing by the door, each hand carrying a large bowl of popcorn, America noticed a newcomer and swiveled to greet her, "Hey hey! You're the other half of the yelling couple, right? From the sensitivity thing?" She beamed a smile at the woman, and gestured widely with the popcorn. "C'mon in and grab yourself some food and a drink or two, we're gonna get some movies started in a bit."

Maebe looked ready to go to war and America could appreciate her enthusiasm. She sipped her drink and watched the competition, wishing a bit that she could join. But she already had the files for all the posters, so what would be the point? One of them may be the winner, but she was already the master.

Of course there were other ways to join the game and soon America was pulling out her phone. The girl duck-lipped like a pro as she scrolled the contacts and sent a text.
