Chopin didn't open her eyes, but she leaned appreciatively into Aya's hand, purring like a drumroll.

"Ah, you're lucky to be so provided for. Not everyone with the same fortune seems as appreciative," Robin said, thinking of the Leoni family. "And painting as well? You're quite the Renaissance woman. I'm afraid I have only the one skill, at least as far as the arts go.

"As for Kalos.... Yes, it's quite lovely, from what I saw of it. Working in Lumiose, I saw a lot of the capital, but otherwise probably not much of what would be considered the main attractions to tourists and so forth." He envied Aya's casual mention of traveling three regions. "I've never seen more than a distant glimpse of the Parfum Palace, for instance, and I only traveled through Geosenge once, and didn't have time to stop and see the sights. " The man smiled, distantly. "But Aquacorde was a beautiful little town, right on the river." His mother had done their laundry on the riverbank every Friday morning, and he would perch on the bridge, picking out a tune on his first violin.

"I'm looking forward to being able to appreciate the snow from inside," Robin chuckled. "In a cozy chair next to a warm fire, with a plate of hot food. But I've never ice skated before; perhaps I'll try that with you."

After crashing into Selene, Rao rocketed to his feet. "Sidley, the feminists are attacking, let's go!" Despite wanting to roll her eyes at her trainer's proclamation, she did as she was told because regardless of Rao's delusions it was clear they were under attack. The pachirisu sent a jolt of electricity at the nearest blur.

Kat almost dropped her pokeball as the sled jolted and she was slung first into another body, though she wasn't sure if it was a person or a pokemon for the violence of the motion, and then back into the side of the sleigh. She grunted in pain and shook her head as she saw stars from the impact. "What... what are they?"

Lorelai reared in her harness, pawing and stamping agitatedly in fear at the sudden attack, but she was trapped and could do nothing.

Jostled to one side, Merrick instinctively reached for his pokeball and called out his companion. "Jabba! Let's help out! Big Brother would be pleased,"
The Chatot sprang from the ball and shot straight for the swarm that was attacking the sleigh. "CHATOT!" it cawed, as if a battle cry.

Cara blinks at the random pokemon attack. Well, here goes nothing. Sage growled at the interlopers. She didn't like it when her fun was interrupted. "Ok Sage, looks like we need to help out." Sage barked and hopped off of Cara's lap and onto the floor of the sleigh and sent out a dark attack at the offending Pokemon.

"Hah! I bet it will be fun!" Christina gave up staring at all the pokemon pulling the gigantic sleigh and turned around in her seat to see who this Lex person is. "Oh.... I'm Christina... You can call me 'Chris', if you like," she said while she tried not to act surprised.

At that moment the sleigh started to wobble out of sync. "What in the--" Christina looked up and saw a Delibird hover over them. "Lex! Hurry! If you have a pokemon that could shoo that thing away now is your chance!" She was supposed to battle it with her Deerling but she was an inexperienced and rather new trainer. Not knowing what to do with this surprise visit, she decided to duck low, and covered her head with her hands laughing at her own poor choice of action.
