It had seemed like as he had put his phone down the same person had came walking through the door, either he was seeing things or his friend could get around. He stood up and hugged Kat closely for a few "Wassup buddy! It has been a while since we last saw each other." He looks her up and down with a smile as he gives her a questioning look and then lifts her hat up a bit off her head "So miss captain of the briny blue, how have you been and where did you even find these things?" He says with a laugh placing it on the table, pocketing his phone, and taking a seat at the table motioning her to sit down. "So what is this new toy that you have found for me?" He asks with excitement as most of the island bores him to tears for the most part.
He had at this point picked up the hat again and started to fiddle with it seeing how well made it was and how soft it was kinda mislead him to believe his friend was still the frilly little girl he remembered from years ago. He wondered if she was gonna be able to see the sand bags in his eyes that he hid so well, or the tiredness and lack of motivation that he sometimes covers up, he figured not, but liked to think some people could. He didn't mean to ignore Alessa, but it had been a while since Kat had left and with her return everyone knew of the spoils she would have with her.

 Captain Katanna Kat warmly hugged her friend in greeting before taking a seat beside him. She spared Alessa a glance, but instead answered his many questions. He's always like that, she thought with a laugh. Seeing his questioning glance, she smiled and did a twirl to show off her preferred getup.
"I think its only been about a week, but its good to know that somebody worries about us out there," she replied as she leaned the chair back and rested her feet on the table. Ace was always a space case when it came to time. So many times, she remembered waiting for him to show up only to find out he'd forgotten that it was that day they had agreed to meet. All this time later, she found it easier to just hunt him down herself than to wait for him to come to her.
"I've been enjoying the open waters my friend," she answered, watching him play with the hat that she had tossed on the table when she took a seat. He looked exhausted and more than a little roughed up. She wondered if maybe he had been in the middle of the collapse of the main tunnel? Knowing him, Ace probably had been snoozing off to the side and had gotten caught up in events. He was a good guy, she thought, but he had the worst luck of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was also good at hiding things, which only showed that he didn't like worrying others, but she could see it. If he was having a hard time, she'd see if she had anything in their stores to help. Surely there was something to help. The trick was getting him to fess up without him knowing that was what he was doing. Guys, she thought, always gotta be stoic.
"And this outfit was a gift from one of the girls who has the power to create clothes from her drawings. She had dreams of being a runway designer and she was really happy that I managed to get her a few fashion magazines a couple weeks ago. This is the first time I've gotten to wear it. Very becoming of a pirate captain, don't you think?" Kat leaned forward so that he could feel the fabric of her black velvet gloves. " Best costume I've ever worn, better than any we managed back in. . . well before."
It wasn't the only costume she had obtained for her efforts, but it wasn't so much vanity that drove her, more like appropriate attire for certain actions. If she was to be a pirate, she had to look the part. The same went for her other projects. You simply didn't cook a meal in a ball gown, or slaughter a pig in a business suit.
When he asked about his new toy, as she knew he would, Kat smiled as she dug into one of the side pouches that were tied to her belt. The first thing she pulled out was a package of batteries.
"So we were in the south, about a day and a half of good wind sailing, when we came across this yacht," she began, her best storytelling mode in full swing.
"Ya, I mean who takes out private vessels this far from the mainland? Anyway, so we stopped by to check things out, but there was nobody on it. Completely empty. So as far as we could tell, the owners didn't tie it up and it drifted, or else something happened to them. Either way, we figured it best to liberate the craft from any of its cargo while we checked below deck for any signs of life. You know, just in case somebody were to come by and confiscate any of the contraband. Which, lucky for us, was a lot."
"You'd be amazed at what those rich folks hide in the nooks and crannies of their boats. It's like they worry about having their stuff stolen while they're scuba diving." Kat smiled ear to ear while she told the story, using her hands for emphasis and patting her belt of treasures at the end. Then she pulled out two small, silver, slightly battered devices.
"I managed to get two nintendo DS's, along with batteries and," she paused in her reveal to dig into another pocket. "Ah, here it is. Pokemon pearl, Pokemon black, and Mario Kart. Don't say I never gave ya anything for your birthday." Setting the games down like poker chips, she then relaxed in her chair, satisfied with her find.

ẴxŁxəxşxšxấ ֆ In this great length of time that has no limit or end… The clone smiled back at him, taking a seat on one of the chairs. "How is that going? Raising peppers, I mean. I...I mean, Alessa's never really tried gardening, but she's always liked the idea of it." Her gaze turned to out of the tiny hole, towards the sea. It certainly did look nice, compared to what the front of their cave looked like now. They'd have to clear up that rubble ASAP, but the clone knew that it could wait for a little while.
Then Katanna came up to the conference room, and the Alessa clone had to hold herself back from doing anything when Ace went to hug the captain. He's not my boyfriend, so he's free to do whatever he likes to whomever he wants. she had to remind herself, though her hands gripped the chair tighter. It struck her as odd though, that the other girl shot her a dirty look. What did I do? She listened quietly to Kat's story; she was always one to embellish on things. Still, because of her piracy, the other kids had something to look forward to, instead of cowering in the caves, something that Alessa would always feel indebted to her for. As the other girl deposited the game console on the table, she tilted her head to the side. Alessa had never been one for video games, so everything struck her as odd about it. But being on an island, it wasn't like she'd be able to inform herself about these video games that Ace apparently liked.
Alessa nodded. "Is it alright if I come in? I need to talk to you about some things...namely about our beloved guardian, Kry." She said the last part with sarcasm, rolling her eyes as she said it. Stepping in, she leaned back against the wall, not wanting to take the bed on case she was being too rude. She gave him a minute to settle himself before speaking again. Before she opened her mouth, however, Katanna popped in, causing Alessa to stiffen and clam up. After she had left, Alessa started to talk again.
"To tell the truth, we had a run in with Kry. Him, the masked guy, and Miya were able to break through our entrance barrier, and they caused a cave in. Not too many students were hurt, but...Ace and his friends were about the only casualties we had. So I got angry and went to confront them. Nothing bad actually happened!" She said hurriedly, but got quiet afterwards. "I had a verbal argument with Miya, and...to tell the truth, I'm...thinking of quitting the D.C." She admitted, looking down at her lap in disappointment. "I think she was right; I've only caused problems by trying to help lead these kids, so it'd probably be better if I stepped down."…Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ

The President gave a heavy sigh and went went to an area in his room where some cups were bringing back with him some tea and coffee for each of them respectively. He had his fair share of problem and almost quit once or twice himself so he kind of knew what she was feeling. "Well... Over all it is your call, but if you step down wouldn't that mean you are admitting to have done more damage than good even if that is not the case? No one thinks you are doing the wrong things and know you have their best interest at heart so I wouldn't take everything Kry or Miya might have said personally. I would take it and use it to get better though... As far as your position. Who would fill it in your place and who would follow that person as you are the figurehead. Without you everything might fall apart." He said with a somber expression and soft words as he took a sip of his drink. He would wait for her response.Ace was more than happy that he could relieve his boredom more easily now and smiled at the captain. "If these are the things you find maybe I will join you guys next time!" He says with a laugh before pocketing the device and batteries. "Though as fun as that would be, the sea would probably kill me or I would get bored out there not being able to move around except on the ship.... Oh yea, the President would probably kill me too." He says with a chuckle.
Ace looked over at Alessa and smiled "Hey Alessa, sorry about not responding and cutting you off. The pepper farm is going pretty well, mostly green, yellow, and red peppers, but I have some of my spicy ones off to the side growing well." He smiled and held his hands together as though he was a mother talking about his babies. He loved food, and if gardening was the only way to preserve his old eating style then he would make sure he could keep everything around. "Would you like to come look at it with me later?"

 Captain Katanna Katanna had a smug expression when Ace took her gifts in elation. It pleased her to see the bafflement of Alessa's clone.
"You're too much of a land lover," she countered with a laugh. "Besides, the last time we were on a boat together, you blew chunks all over the deck." Ah childhood, she thought.
Listening to Ace as he regaled them with farming methods for his peppers, Kat felt put out, wishing just a little that Alessa wasn't there. But she loved peepers too and was glad for his efforts, even if he was hard pressed to part with them. Being in the business of trade and knowing a few other things Ace was wont to have, she knew she could probably find a fair price for a bushel. When he offered to show Alessa his secret garden, Kat cleared her throat and smiled.
"Farbeit from me to interrupt your tours," she said,emphasizing on the fact that they were in a supposedly secreted meeting spot and she felt from the get go like she had barged in on something. With a twist to swing her feet back onto the ground, she sat forward with one hand on her knee and the other pointed at the man beside her.
"I can tell stuffs been going down, so you better fess up now. I don't want to find out later that you had something to do with that cave in, ya here?" she demanded authoritatively. Then she looked over at the girl she was most suspicious of.
"And it better not have been you. You lot with your militant buddies are way too heavy handed when you confront Kry and his crew," she stated flatly. It wasn't the first time she'd come home to find something on fire or some vast chasm created during a bout. It was all senseless in her opinion.

ẴxŁxəxşxšxấ ֆ In this great length of time that has no limit or end… Alessa gave him a quick thanks and accepted the drink, slowly savoring the warmth as it spread through her body. She moved to sit down next to the president, but kept a respectable and friendly distance from him. It was times like these that she was glad the president was such a patient person; he'd always be able to take her complaints in stride and give her advice. "Still...I wonder about that really. I know that the D.C. members are only really against you and the student council for my sake. And it still doesn't seem like a lot of people want to come and talk to be about problems we have around the camp. All they really remember me by is how I've been a real b***h about things up until now." She sighed, looking at her reflection in the coffee. "I've changed, but what good is it if no one notices?"
"Not to mention, now we've got to do something about the living quarters. Since Kry and Jareth busted down our entrance barrier, the caves have taken a hit. There's rubble everywhere, the air's dusty, and who knows when Kry is going to come back with more people to explore our area." Alessa took a long drink, hoping to calm her nerves. She didn't want to have a nervous breakdown, but she was hitting her limit. She heaved another sigh as she brought the mug down to her lap again. "Well...I guess for now, I'll take the break to think about stepping down."
~~~~~~~
The clone frowned when she saw Kat give her a smirk. She didn't like how things were turning out between Ace and the captain, and she sure as hell felt like her territory was being invaded. What am I thinking, territory? He's free to do as he pleases. she thought, but still it made her clench her teeth in anger. She was happy that he had invited her to see his pepper farm, but a little put out cause she wasn't too sure if that invitation extended to Katanna too. She hoped it wasn't the case though. "I'd love to see your garden later." She smiled at Ace, hoping that The red head wouldn't butt in on their alone time.
Her frown only deepened when Katanna started to thrown accusatory glares at her again, not to mention cut in to the conversation. "Look Kat, I didn't do anything this time, despite what you must think. Kry's the one who busted the entrance barrier and compromised the caves, and they're the ones who sent all these pillars of stone shooting up all over the place!" He clone said, though her eye twitched a bit with annoyance. People were so quick to blame her with things today, and she was getting sick and tired of it. "The student council and the D.C. have called a truce for a while, a break to let everyone cool their heads. That was actually last night. So don't go pointing your finger at me." She said curtly, folding her arms.…Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ
They probably do not see a need to ask for guidance or are trying to keep a strong front for you, their strong leader and as much as it pains me to say it, without the D.C.a lot of our functions would stop working and this would also allow Kry the ability to try and obtain our newly weakened state as we wouldn't be able to handle the sudden influx... That is why we are trying to get this settled peacefully and calmly, not just a straight take over Alessa. He may be strong, but there is power in number remember." He says with a light smile sipping his own drink. He felt like the Charles Xavier of these students as it didn't matter who or when, he was willing to make peace and give what advice he had to those who would listen and he hoped they would all find balance one day.Ace felt kind of awkward as he sat between the two exchanging words, it wasn't like he didn't understand where Kat was coming from, but at the same time how she was going about getting her answers was rude and he knew Alessa wouldn't take it so when she reacted like she did he kinda sat there in the middle until Alessa's quck rant was over in retort to Kat. "Uh- I don't.. Kat I was apart of the accident yes, but it was not Alessa's fault, she actually found me and helped get me back up and over here so I am grateful to her. I am sorry we didn't tell you, but I didn't wanna worry you." he says with his eyes starting to waiver a bit as though he was gonna cry, but didn't.
Ace shook his head and looked over at his friend with a frown then tried to make her laugh by rubbing his ankle up and down her leg thinking to catch the serious mood off guard with a little hijink. Not sure if it would work he added a little "Come on sour puss, how can I make it up to you?" He says with a wink and a chuckle to complement the notion with Alessa not able to know what was actually going on in his self thinking elaborate plan
 Captain Katanna Kat's eyes widened when she heard Alessa's retort. She wanted to call her on that line of bull, but it was Ace's reply that took her off guard. He was in the accident. And Alessa had saved him. That gave her pause. She couldn't help thinking that she should have been there. The icing was that he hadn't mentioned anything out of consideration. He knew she would have popped a cork if she was told abruptly, or not at all. Damn him, she thought. He knew her so well. The gator tears were a little much, but that was Ace, dedicated to the last.
"Well s**t, guess I jumped the gun," she said. Looking at Alessa, one hand scratching the back of her head, she smiled apologetically. "Sorry about that. Seeing the aftermath left over makes me wish I hadn't missed out on all the fun."
Then she felt the tickling sensation of Ace's ankle and Kat couldn't help but jump in her seat. Her face shot around to lock on his, a blush tinging her cheeks. Hearing him laugh and make such a suggesting remark, it put her a little more at ease. Whatever Alessa had designs about, she obviously hadn't dug her claws in too deep yet.
"If you're able to tease like that, then you must be fine," she countered with a laugh, reaching over and smacking his shoulder playfully. His jokes really were contagious.
ẴxŁxəxşxšxấ  ֆ In this great length of time that has no limit or end… Alessa nodded, mulling over the words in her head. "I may be their leader, but that doesn't mean they should shoulder everything." She sighed. She didn't remember it being this hard to be a leader. Then again, they lead a sheltered life before this, instead of having to fend for themselves in the wild. "I wasn't thinking of disbanding the D.C., just stepping down as leader. But you're right....there's safety in numbers. And we need as much safety as we can get. I just wish we weren't so divided." Alessa swirled her mug, swirling he coffee inside. "They don't seem to let me in, lately. They only tell me to not worry about it, like they're hiding something from me...you don't think they're taking out their frustrations of what happened to me out on you guys, do you?"
~~~~~~~
Seeing Katanna apologize so quickly caught her off guard. She knew it was really just for Ace's sake, but now it made her feel like the bad guy. She felt like now she had to apologize too. "No...I'm sorry for snapping like that at you. Everyone's been blaming me for things I had little to no control over, and it's just been really stressful for me lately." She uncrossed her arms and sighed. Looking back up, she was about to give Ace a smile as thanks for sticking up for her, but then saw the little interaction between the two. It was then that she felt like she was the one intruding on them. She might have been new to the whole dating thing, but Alessa knew when people were flirting with each other. Still, she kept a straight face, though she was upset by seeing how chummy they were getting. Or rather, how much they flirted with one another. However, the clone was not going to let Katanna win by leaving them alone together. Not until someone outright told her to get lost, and she wasn't going to listen to Kat. …Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ

The President smiles at Alessa and grins "Well, I wont stop you from making a decision you think is best for you, and hey it might even help out with your personal life right? I know you have been rather busy lately and maybe could try and meet up with Ace again. I am sure he would like that, though if you do you might wanna be more aggressive than last time. We both know how slow our lovable oaf is when it comes to love sometimes. Also, what if your not the only one going after him?" He says with a grin.Ace sticks his tongue out at her with a laugh "Of course I am ok. What do you expect of the most amazing vice president!" He says and cracks his knuckles before stopping time. He stood up and yawned before looking the two girls over. He grabbed the hat Kat was wearing and put it on as he grabbed a drink, and walked over behind Alessa and wrapped his arms around her. He unfroze time and started to ramble like a drunkard. "Ey, Captain.. hic, what should e do wi dishh land lubbbberrrrr." He says with a slur. He thought it would help relieve the room of its tension and help get the two on good terms if they played along. "She a purty one aint she... I say we make her....zzzzzzz." He fakes leaning his head on Alessa's shoulder.

 Captain Katanna She had to give it to him there, Ace was right. He knew how to take care of himself and she was silly to doubt him. But he should know better than that. Kat would always worry for him, whether he knew that or not, she could only guess. As oblivious as he acted most of the time, there were moments where she thought that he really did know how she felt about him. Then the moment would pass and she could relax again.
When Ace flipped time, Kat had to change gears again to take in his new position, drapped over Alessa and talking like a drunkard. If she didn't know him better, she'd have thought he was trying to make her jealous by getting all close to the lavender haired DC captain. As it was, and since she did, Kat simply took it as it was, a peace sign that he meant not to be a bother. He was sorry, but she didn't hold his very nature against him. He simply just was, and she was ok with that.
Jumping to her feet, she brandished her hipside dagger and thrust it in the air. Her hat had been transported atop Ace's head, or she would have tilted it dramatically, so instead she put one foot on the seat she had vacated and struck a pose.
"A just question, ya scaly wag. We don't suffer their kind a wink," she exclaimed, pointing the dagger at Alessa. Her smile was condescending and deviant, but altogether pleased. Whether with herself, or about the current event, one can only guess.
"I say she walk the plank! Let her sleep with the fishes and sink to the depths of Davey Jones's locker!" Then she laughed and kicked the chair away from herself.

ẴxŁxəxşxšxấ ֆ In this great length of time that has no limit or end… She heaved a sigh at his words. "I already know someone's into him too. Katanna, actually. My clone's been with Ace after the cave in to make sure he was alright, and then Kat came back from sea. That's the last my clone let me know what was happening." Alessa finished her coffee, placing the empty mug on a nearby table. "Ugh, why must everything happen all at once?" She complained, but didn't really expect him to have an answer for that. Still, it felt nice to be able to complain to someone, really. She was glad that the president was her friend.
~~~~~~~
A blush crept over her face once she felt Ace wrap his arms around her, though it felt like only a second ago he had been across the table from her. The clone figured he had stopped time, but decided to play along. Ace was making it a bit hard though, especially when he rested his head on her shoulder. Her face turned a shade darker at that gesture, though secretly she was glad he was giving her attention now. However, the clone knew better than to take this as her win; Ace had a tendency to be as carefree as a leaf on the wind.
She did not flinch upon seeing the dagger thrusted at her, nor the remark about having to walk the plank; it was just a game, and she took the fact that Ace had initiated it as his way of clearing the air between the girls. She knew to play along. "Oh captain! my captain!" She proclaimed, faking distress and dramatically placing the back of her hand to her forehead. The clone would have stood up on the table, to mimic the Dead Poet Society movie, but it felt nice being in Ace's arms and she wasn't going to be the one to stop it.…Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ
Ace couldn't help, but laugh a bit in his mind as she followed along. He was glad she decided to participate and have some fun. Maybe his character he was portraying was a bit much though he could easily change characters to fit the mood. As it was he thought a story play would be fun and wanted to see if the other two would be able to follow along. He yelled out and feel to the floor, but as he fell the body was gone and instantly upright with Ace now brandishing a wooden sword and a mask on as he spun Alessa around in his arms. "Well hello young lady, I see you are in a bit of trouble, would you mind if a masked hero came to your rescue?" He asked grinning from ear to ear and close in her face offering a rose. He would then look over to Kat.
"Captain Kat of the Kitty Cat Pirates I take it!" He says sword held in her direction. "I will defeat you to save all those you have captured and to release those under your control!" As if Ace's movements were fast enough, he was gone again now standing next to Kat with a red cape on and no mask brandishing a new wooden sword. He was making this a three man play and him being all the side characters. He laughed evily as he pulled Kat in close by the hip. "You masked hero, think you can defeat us Kitty Cat Pirates so easily?! Well let's see how well you do against me! Red Cape! I am sure your hostage can fend her own against our dear captain can she not?!" He says maniacally trying to lure Masked Hero into a trap.
Masked Hero returns holding his mask up as he looks down at Alessa "My fair lady, please excuse me while I fight this villain. I hope you can fend yourself against Captain Kat until I return. I will dispatch him with utmost haste!" He yells running forwards and disappeaers as Red Cape laughs again. "Let me see what you have!" Turning to Kat holding her close again. "Do not worry my beloved captain, I shall win your affection!" He then runs forward and disappears as well.
 Captain Katanna Kat rolled her eyes at Alessa's exclamation. The girl really couldn't act, but she wasn't about to criticize how she wasn't even quoting from a pirate film when Ace was working so hard to keep them from falling back into themselves and making things awkward. She would had added not hostile, but then he practically was setting them up for a bout, with all his smooth time flipping and comical improvisation. She really had to work to not break down in hysterical laughter during his two sided monologue.
"Kitty Kat Pirates, really?" she whispered to Ace while he held her close, her face really close to his as she staged a fake kiss that really was just an overlapping of their cheeks. She liked the feel of his hands, gripping her close, though she was very good at keeping her blush to a minimum. He may have caught her off guard the first time, but she wasn't so easily flustered.
"My first mate will make quick work of your masked fool, haha!" Kat laughed hautily and quite dramatically as she pointed her real dagger towards Alessa and her wooden sword.
"Let us dance, you and I," she challenged when Ace pushed off to fight himself. All the while she thought, how much of this will be just a game?
ẴxŁxəxşxšxấ  ֆ In this great length of time that has no limit or end… Ace's sudden change is their little play caught her completely by surprise, but not so much that she couldn't stifle her laughter at Ace's one man show. He never ceased to surprise her, and she graciously accepted the rose that he had somehow gotten. Still, as she was bad at improvising lines, she watched without saying a word as the scene unfolded. Whether Katanna had given Ace a kiss or not, she wasn't sure, but she wouldn't put it past the red head to do so at whatever chance she got.
As Ace exited stage left, Alessa picked up the other wooden sword he had left behind. "My masked hero will trounce that third rate mate of yours!" She exclaimed at Kat, but cringed at the words that left her mouth. It had sounded a lot better in her head. "And this is why we don't let me be in plays." She said quietly, but never took her eyes off of the captain opposite of her. Despite knowing that this was just supposed to be a game, she wondered how far it would actually go. Not that the clone had any fear of death; she was made to disappear at some point. But at the same time, it would look bad if she went too far with Katanna, not to mention she had never truly seen the girl in a fight. So she waited, in a ready position, watching her opponent to make the first move.…Even if the two of us get separated someday, I'll find you ֆ
