Sora made huge jumps backwards, eventually backing in to the chair where she and the headmaster were sitting only moments before this attack had begun. She didn't even notice where she was backing in to because she had been focused so heavily on her opponents, but this provided a bit of shelter from the enemies in front. With her back faced to the bench, she put her hands on where one would rest their backs, and when she was charged, she made a move any logical person might've made. She used all of the power in her arms to throw herself over the bench and to the other side. She hit the ground with her back, but her book bag cushioned the blow quite nicely so she was able to roll back up to her feet without difficulty. It was a bit of a close call, but it was worth it to see those hounds smash their faces against the seat.

She had to get her breathing back in check, however, since one wrong move would get her bitten or worse. With an affirmative nod, she took her stance again, slowing her breathing to match her movements so she didn't grow stiff in the middle of battle. Breathing opened the pathways in her body, such as the longs and veins, and kept her in check since failing to maintain good breath control might've knocked her out if she got too exhausted. Like all fighters, Sora knew one thing...that she controlled her body, not the other way around. If her body worked how she wanted it to, she could be nigh invulnerable in the right circumstances. As she was proving now, good focus during high intensity situations went a long way. She was chipping away at the numbers the opponent had quickly effectively, but only because she was being very cautious due to being alone. It made her a more effective fighter, but it was as dangerous as it could be for her.

She scanned her area again, seeing that the numbers winding down as they did hardly frightened these beasts. Because of their pack mentality, they would keep coming until she could no longer resist, but their choice in target might've been what was sending them to their grave. That tiny girl that they were so eager to rip apart was not a non-threat as they assumed, and she would keep giving them the run around until she had wiped them off the face of the planet. Well...she would keep doing it until they were away from the school. One problem at a time, right? Speaking of problems, they were coming again, based on the chill she felt running down her spine. As long as they were so hot blooded, she would keep chilling their bodies down to the core. Blood wasn't so hot when spilled on pavement, naturally.

"First, take a deep breath and release..." Sora reminded herself, dedicating a bit of time to charging her next attack. Upon seeing weakness, her prey approached, assuming they were the hunters. "It loses power and chance the further it goes out, so make just a tiny opening..." Sora could see this was going to go perfectly so long as she could aim correctly. Upon being attacked, Sora's eyes widened as her hand instantly shot out in front of her, upon the chest of the first one to attack. She held it up off of the ground to avoid its snapping maw and inhaled once more. "Die." Sora stated coldly as a blast of qi was sent ripping through the chest of the demon. That was how she liked to do things. It was quick and painless for the demon, so it wasn't like she tortured the thing for fun, but it was a very brutal move.

She threw its body aside, causing it to crush the noses of other Garm she managed to hit with it and removing their ability to breathe. Her right arm was stained with the blood of her enemies, which is the reason she took off her school jacket. While, yes, it didn't matter in the grand scheme of things, she didn't want to have to do any extra cleaning for the jacket itself. It was also much easier to move around without her jacket restricting even the smallest of motions. Combined with a moderate length skirt covering her legs meant she had full mobility since her undershirt didn't restrict her in the slightest. It made it so much quicker for her to turn the courtyard in to a corpse hall. She jumped back in to the fray, having four limbs made it difficult to give something to everybody, but she was working at a decent pace. It was fast enough to get her out of there, at least.

"You're great warm up material, at least." Sora shrugged, deciding that there wasn't much she could say about the Garm. At their best, they were a pack of annoyances that could kill those who weren't careful, and because of this, it was great practice, and a great reminder to watch your battlefield at all times. Whoever sent the beasts, Sora would have to remember to thank them for a good bit of reminder training. Situationally, training against Garm might've helped prepare her for new challenges in the future. When she was speaking with the headmaster, she was worried that she would fail upon being entrusted with more difficult tasks in the future, but now she was no longer apprehensive. If she could do this much, she could do whatever was asked of her without fail.

As much of a distraction as this was, Sora couldn't help but wonder if everybody else who was fighting was starting to have difficulties. And then there was the thought that this entire thing was a distraction. Massive attacks like this normally served as a way to weaken defensive measures or to capture key targets, so what could this attack have been about? If they all spread their forces, they would leave and opening, and if they grouped together there would be many openings. It just didn't make sense to have one massive attack without it being used as a distraction for something bigger. Sora would think on it while she moved, turning her back and almost skating along the ground as more scores fell at her feet. They could cry for the moon to fall for all she care, but prayers didn't make wishes come true. For demons, it didn't matter what they wished. Their lives were insignificant when they valued them so highly above others. Sora would remind them of their place soon enough.

The girl was beginning to stain herself red with the blood and guts of her opponents, but it was just as insignificant a detail. She looked up at the clock tower and clenched her hands in to tight fists when she saw what was happening. After she was done with the group she was facing now, she'd deal with the Salamanders. It was a bad idea to let them have the high ground for so long, but after that, Sora would have to go back around for the clean up work. She couldn't leave the other students to their fate, so she'd fight their battles for them if they could no longer do as much. It only made sense that Sora fight her hardest against demons of Iblis' brood since he, indirectly, caused her injuries. She remembered them, and took the memories of that pain with her each day she lived. It made cutting down those in her path all the more satisfying. While she could set aside personal feelings in all other cases, she simply didn't like fire. That was a known fact.

Sora seemed confused upon noting the amount of demons she had dispatched, their behavior then, and their behavior now. About half of them had been ended, and now her foes were more cautious, and by extension, more dangerous. Even then, she could sense a bit of apprehension from them now that they figured that this wasn't going to go as planned unless they changed their strategy. She could hear it in their growling, see it in their eyes. If they were going to drop back from all of the bravado and take her seriously, she would oblige them. They were, however, beasts all the same. If they wanted to kill her, they would have to fight like men. They were better served laying down and exposing their stomachs to her since she wasn't going to give them any more of a chance than she had already given them. They had long since missed their chance to finish her off. That time? When she was a child. Fully mature, low ranking demons like this were no match for her.

It was ten years too early for them to be a viable threat, but unfortunately for them they wouldn't live nearly as long as that. Her gaze quickly switched to the beasts in front of her, and lo and behold, one actually managed to touch her. It knocked her to the ground while she was focused on the Salamander attack, but like last time, her book bag had a certain amount of recoil to it, allowing her to rebound quickly enough to put her hands in the demon's mouth to stop it from snapping down on her. It wasn't a bad move, considering it might've taken her some time to get from underneath the Garm, which meant his companions would be able to move in for a kill. If they wanted to be strategic instead of going through the effort of trying any random move they could think of, she would applaud them, but this was still a move a beast would make.

She wanted the one she had by the mouth to pay attention and learn something from her. Before its death, she would allow it to see what it had done wrong. Her left hand pushed the upper part of its mouth, forcing it upward. Her right hand did the opposite, pushing the bottom jaw of the Garm downward until she had a good grip of it while its mouth was being forced open. It almost had something, but that something wasn't enough, nor would its pack deter her from finishing it off for what was the biggest blunder of its short life. She didn't have time to plan for what happened after this, but the first part of it included getting off of the ground.

The surprise attack was a good idea, but its singular fault made its biggest weakness shine like a beacon. A sneak attack relied on the hope that the target would be unable to recover, but Sora managed to form an impressive defense by taking the beast by the inside of its mouth and forcing its jaws to separate before it could bite down on her. It scrambled, struggled, and clawed at her for the duration of what happened next, but to Sora, it didn't really matter how much it tried to run. Its fate had ended the moment it challenged her. She continued to force its jaws apart until she began to rip through its face, and through the neck as well. It was a brutal thing to be ripped in half, and disturbing to see, but Sora didn't seem at all bothered that she was the one causing it. Instead, she casually pushed the creature away with a well-placed kick to the midsection after she was certain it died.

Instead of rolling backwards and in to what was almost certainly a hungry Garm, Sora rolled forward. This movement was a very unorthodox one, so it caused quite a bit of confusion in the enemy ranks. If she would've gone backwards, she almost certainly would've landed herself in an even worse situation, but by rolling forward she presented a threatening stance. She forced herself towards the enemy covered in their blood, and perhaps because of the display of her legs, they ended up taking minor steps backwards. She had killed a majority of them with kicks and punches, so they figured a healthy distance would keep them alive. They were a bit late, however, since Sora was standing again once she completed her roll forward. Standing, she was a bigger threat than she was laying down.

And then there was fear. Fear was an interesting concept, and Sora found it an intriguing thing as a whole. It kept you alive, but in some cases, fear killed you. Depending on exactly how afraid you were of your situation, or what you were facing, you'd end up killing your foe, or killing yourself. When you were so afraid it crippled you or your ability to think, the continuing was no longer and option, and you simply perished. That's what happened in the courtyard. After Sora noticed that her opponents were afraid of her, she moved in for the kill, making sure that each had some part of them destroyed that kept them alive. Stopping their hearts, smashing their windpipes, even kicking their lungs through their back were all moves she considered fair game.

Her enemies didn't complain, but then, how could you complain when your lungs were sent through an opening in your back, or with your rib cage collapsing? It's not as if they could argue, and it's not as if Sora would care if they did. They met very cowardly ends, as was fitting for cowards like them. Sora stopped to wonder if they were going to continue fighting her or not, but after a moment of collecting themselves, they resolved that her death would be their goal all the same. Sora groaned, knowing that with their meager numbers, they wouldn't do very well now that she was just getting pumped up. In soccer, it was called a second wind, but Sora still had a third, fourth, and fifth wind that had yet to come. Their gestures were, primarily, pointless, but she would give them points for tenacity and consistency. Who would have thought they'd survive longer than Sora guessed.

Things had originally been complex, but the more Sora fought, the easier it became, and the less she had to fight. Her foes had scuffed her a few times, but it was nothing that she couldn't handle. She was hardly a pup fresh out of training, so when things were simple, they were more often than not dead. It was just a matter of the last few moves she had to make before she finished off her enemies, and with the time she had, she would make sure her last moves were her most powerful. As she stood there drenched in blood that wasn't hers, she was quick to focus her energy in a spread pattern. She wanted to release it all as built-up, and destructive energy, that way she could make quicker kills. Her breathing was still the same as she gathered her qi, but this was an entirely different situation now.

The qi could be seen building in her right hand, where she attacked from most often. She would take as many as she could with a single attack, and finish the rest off as quickly as possible, but to give herself an upper-hand against the remaining enemies, she needed them to be both blind, and unable to fight back. To that end, while she was not the most precise shooter, she aimed for a very small target. Hitting the enemy in the eyes was a brilliant plan, as some would die from it while others would be blinded so she could make a quicker kill, but she already had her contingency plan ready in case she missed, which was generally more of the same. Fight until one party could no longer continue. It had become so routine that Sora felt physically ill as far as repetition was concerned. There had to be a quicker way.

Regardless, she felt her qi pass one point, so she was as ready as she would ever be. "The last one hundred of you remaining are the only things left in my way, right? Then let's be quick about this." Sora's crimson eyes almost seemed to flash in anticipation when she marked her targets. While she wasn't going to simply hit them in the head, the principle was still the same, despite what was actually going to happen. It was a good plan, but she didn't think ahead about what happened when this type of energy came in to contact with an object. It didn't pass through it like she was thinking it would when it was big enough to eclipse the thing she wanted to hit. Instead, it caused indiscriminate destruction against the body, and while it would kill her targets, it wouldn't be how she planned it.

Not quick enough. It always began the same way, with somebody new trying to lead the pack, but there was almost not time to impart needed wisdom in order to keep these things alive. As such, when one of them tried to display power and control by trying to overcome Sora, they often ended up with her foot lodged somewhere in their body. For the new, brave Garm that thought to challenge her and get lucky like the one before it, Sora ended up planting her foot right in its eye socket and crushing it. The demon didn't die, but Sora held it underneath her heel for the time being since it would be troublesome running around with one crushed eye, and part of its skull being shattered. Sora wouldn't really have the time to mercy kill it if it ran away. For the moment, it'd just have to deal with its pain.

The others would have a much easier death, as Sora was finished concentrating her qi. The first shot ripped through the Garm she hit, destroying the head, but leaving the body. The others moved around their fallen comrade and spread in different directions to surround Sora, but it was all useless. Sora had exactly fifty shots for fifty heads, but every so often her aim would be off and she'd take off a leg or only partially damage the target with a wave of qi. It was frustrating, but she knew she'd have to work on her aim in the future instead of hoping that her raw power would see her through the day. And while she was a fighter by trade, she knew well enough that she'd have to begin more rigorous training to prevent this from ever happening again.

The inky black qi emanating from Sora's hand vanished after she used it all up, and afterwards, every target she hit skid to a halt. They were either dead, or half-dead, but she was certain she didn't miss a single target this time around. With that much in mind, she crushed the skull of the Garm under her foot completely, wishing it a happy trip back where it belonged. For monsters like this, Sora would gladly wish them an eternity floating around in empty space, but the world didn't work like that. Each kill was a bit more meaningful if she thought about it in broader terms, but naturally, the meaning of it would be lost on her given that she didn't care how the demons she slaughtered turned out. All that remained was the result, as always, so when judged on the field of battle, the judgement for these demons was final. There was no sympathy. Only truth.

She stalked the battlefield and examined the remains of the horde, kicking over "corpses" that still drew breath. With a firm push, two fingers was enough to silence them permanently if she hit them correctly in the windpipe. That couldn't have been all of them, however. Sora wouldn't have said it to anybody she knew, but she was always certain of her details. She counted each enemy, and knew there had to be more...it just didn't seem like she was completely finished yet. Sure enough, if she listened carefully she could hear the remnants of the small force that came to fight her. She brought her hand up to her head as if she had a headache, knowing she wouldn't be left alone unless she wiped out this skirmish force.

Sora was certain that her next few moves would seal the deal here. The attempt, at least, was decent when the Garm tried to hold her off, but if they were just going to come in with a number shy of four hundred of them, they were asking for trouble. There were scrapes here and there, but she wasn't so hurt that she couldn't continue or anything. After all, the entirety of the blood belong to her victims, the ones who had died most brutally were the ones which painted Sora the brightest color red. They all went down spectacularly, so she'd give them that much. Of course, a spectacular death wasn't exactly note-worthy when your entire goal was to kill the enemy and not die. They let themselves feel doubt and fear, and in the moments they had left, Sora had taken advantage and destroyed them.

She wanted to scare the last few off all at the same time so she could change destinations, but they were still holding on for some reason despite being utterly destroyed. Was it some misguided sense of pride causing a bad case of stupidity in them, or was it just natural instinct to fight until death? Sora didn't know or care, and she certainly didn't wish to find out if that was the case. She just didn't have time to make such a study, nor did she care enough to ask. Of course, what would you ask a beast who was blinded by its emotions? Nothing, naturally. The only course of action was a swift death, as she had been providing throughout the entirety of her defense of the courtyard.

The next one had to be the last one, otherwise she was just wasting time better spent defending the rest of the academy. She didn't have time to clean up all of the gutter trash when there was a giant mess at the top of the school. They could very well cause some serious damage if left alone, and they were already roosting. Sora couldn't help but laugh a little at the demons thinking they had already won. She'd show them soon enough, but as always, the target in front of her took priority. "Right...let's go!" She exclaimed, her voice sounding as if it had just sparked the tiniest of emotions within her. While her tone didn't change much, it was more than what she normally sounded like.

If anybody were to see her in action, they might assume Sora was a demon as well. She fought with such brutality that others might consider her sadistic, but she was nothing of the sort. When she fought, it was to kill the target and nothing more than that. Once they were dead or rendered unable to battle her anymore, if they still managed to move she often took their head off just to be certain, or destroyed something integral to their life since without it they would simply drop dead. For all who wondered if she was a demon...the answer was no, but that didn't stop her from fighting with such overwhelming force that the frightening appearance she gave off matched that of those she fought against. She had to chase down her prey, shattering their spines with a well placed heel kick when they tried to run before decapitating them.

It was a very simple process, and as always, the bodies continued to pile up and up for as long as Sora fought. Eventually, the body count reached its limit, and she dusted off her hands while looking at her handiwork. Bodies and their contents were strewn across the battlefield, and enemies that still had their heads attached died with a distorted look of terror on their faces upon facing their death. Sora's expression didn't change once during the entire ordeal, so she wasn't too upset about the outcome. The courtyard was in shambles though, and she was partially to blame for attacking with all of her might, but she couldn't keep the place in pristine condition without risking her own life. She patted herself on the back and saw that everything in her bag was still there, so that made her breath a sigh of relief, despite the fact that she had landed on her stuff so many times.

As she turned to leave, she noticed that there were still a few stragglers that she hadn't killed. She was certain that with the last group she destroyed that she got everything, but she wasn't perfect. The only thing to do was turn around and fight back, to which she would oblige. There was no way around it, and she was still marked, so this was the only way to get the last few demons out of the way. "You don't know when to quit. Take a hint." Sora stated bitterly under her breath, wishing that these things would have just vanished so she could be free to attend to more important matters. The clock tower, for one, since losing it would be a big deal. And then there were still students who needed to be rescued, but they could defend themselves until she finished with the Salamanders. It wouldn't take her long at all. She just needed everybody to hold out for her.

"Fight, if you want, but it makes no difference to me." This was a very old story. Everything would happen exactly as predetermined, and there wasn't anything these Garm could do to stop it. No high-ranking demon would save them, nothing was going to get them away from her, and she would ensure that this school was the last glimpse of light they ever saw. She wanted it burned in to their minds that no matter what they did, everything was entirely futile. As she always said...the only thing in the world that mattered was the result, and in saying that, she was also the first one to strike. The first hit always wins, but in the greater picture, the school was hit before they could form an effective defense. Whoever did this must've been quite a strategic genius to think so broadly.

It had been a while since Konomi had been this excited. He would learn new skills, new attacks, he'd even be able to finish off demons with ease once he was finished with this school. The f**ktards he had fought back in middle school wouldn't even manage to get even close to touching him. His heart was beating so fast, pumping his body with adrenaline. He couldn't wait to finally beat the crap out of somebody who was a challenge and finally worth it.

However when he finally set foot outside the building and into the courtyard of the school, the image in front of his eyes was something that he certainly had not expected to be greeted with. "The hell..." He was quite taken aback by the bloody sight. Wasn't everything alright when he entered here to check in his dorm room? The ground was painted in crimson liquid. Dead bodies were scattered all over the place. However, they weren't human bodies. Not even close to it. The creatures looked more like... wolves? But they weren't that alike either. They had a disgusting appearance and the odor the dead bodies were emitting from themselves was absolutely awful. He felt his stomach twist from the unbearable scent. He looked at his familiar that looked quite shocked by the sight. He guessed that whoever had managed to kill those ugly creatures had some skills. He walked further into the scene, his black shoes now stained by the thick liquid that seemed still to be fresh, meaning that the one "cleaning" this place from these sh*tty creatures wasn't that far off. And soon enough he caught the sight of a raven haired female kicking those demons asses with ease.

However, despite most of the demon being occupied by attacking the young woman, trying to cause her some damage, there were a few whose attention was quickly caught by the blue haired teen. Konomi's eyes quickly left the killing machine as she continued to brutally rip each of the demon's heads off and fixated them on the few garms that were now approaching him and his demon partner. "One, two... five, seven," he mumbled to himself, though it was good information for his familiar as well, but he was sure that Koumori had already counted them himself. "I've got no clue what the ******** is going on here, but I think I'm going to enjoy it," Koumori laughed at his master words as he got ready for battle himself. Yup, this is going to be fun indeed master.

The first thing he realized about the way the Garms attacked was that they had no pattern in particular. They attacked without thinking for long and would often bump to each-other as they would miss their target, injuring their fellows instead.

That's how Konomi always started his fights. He wouldn't attack his enemy. He'd simply dodge and avoid, analyzing his enemy's pattern and Koumori, having fought alongside with Konomi for a while now, had pretty much adjusted to his style, letting his master figure out how much of a threat his enemy would be before he went to offense mode. It didn't take Konomi much to finally come to a conclusion and fight back. In a matter of seconds he fell to his knees as one of the Garms blindly jumped into the attack only to get its front paws grabbed by Konomi. Just as fast as he had fallen to his knees, he was back on his feet, throwing the demon brutally to the other Garm which had tried to attack him from behind, causing both of the creatures to whine in pain as they both hit the bloody ground. He did not pay attention to the two demons any longer as he let Koumori finish them with his Ultrasoundwaves, and brought his attention to the remaining wolves which were desperately trying to injure the fight crazed teen by attacking all at once. They were no better than a bunch of wolves trying to hunt down a lion.

Hands on the ground, feet on the air, with a simple yet powerful twist he kicked the Garm pack back to the ground. Of course the kick wasn't powerful enough to kill them, but by the time they were trying to stand up and recover from their injuries, Konomi was already back to his feet wasting no time for his next attack, Koumori flying right next to him, watching his master's back.

As one of the demons was finally back on all fours, Konomi was already in the middle of his next attack, kicking the poor lad with a bone smashing hit on top of his skull. As another demon was finally down, the remaining 4 were back on their feet, ready to attack again. But like the previous ones, this attack was also in vain as Koumori was doing a splendid job in protecting his master. As the bat familiar was busy piercing two of the enemy demons with his soundwaves, holding them off the teens back, Konomi was already handling the other two which were next to each other on the air, with their claws on the front, trying to pose a threat. They had no clue how much easier they had made it for the inexperienced exorcist to finish them both off at the same time. He only needed to kick one of them on the sides, and the other fell along with the other. He grabbed the dizzy Garms by their throats, smashing their heads on each-other leaving the demons unconscious and bleeding, tainting the ground even further with blood. And by the time Konomi was finished, so was his demon partner as they looked at one another with a childish grin. "That was easier than I expected" "That's because you had me to watch your back Kono-chan," There it was again. That f**ked up nickname. "SHUT UP!" But the shout only earned more laughter from the bat which continued mocking the delinquent with his oh so hated nickname.

That was the last of the enemies, but they were dispatched by a newcomer. Sora was grateful that she wouldn't have to dirty her hands anymore with these 'thugs' as she compared them to the lowest of scum. She rubbed the back of her neck, as now she had another problem stacked on another. "You. Child. Listen up." Sora slammed her foot on the ground, causing it to fracture the ground below her just a bit while she took her book bag off. She untied her jacket and put it on the correct way, having elegance under pressure, but still stained by the damage she had caused. She looked Konomi over, her pale skin shining thanks to the addition of blood, while her empty red eyes scanned to make note of Konomi's condition. She didn't like tag-alongs, but she was going to have to take him with her to keep him from getting himself hurt.

"You'll be coming with me." Sora was extremely blunt, and didn't even give a reason for what she said, but it was very simple. If she let him wander around, he might be attacked by demons he couldn't handle, or be overwhelmed since he was unpracticed in a way. She extended her hand in an attempt to help him, so she hoped he would stick with her until it was safe to wander about alone. She could've very well let him go in any direction he pleased, but what good would that do? She wouldn't be able to sleep well if he turned up dead, so she would simply drag him along while she attempted to finish off the invasion force. At the same time, she was resolved to collect other students, but it all had to wait. Sora pointed up towards the sky, directing Konomi's attention to the clock tower. That's what worried her the most.

"Salamanders are above the academy and attacking very specific parts of it. I can't fly, so I have to get up there." Sora had a plan, but she couldn't enact it from the ground. It was risky, and quite possibly foolish, but she had already counted out around twenty or thirty Salamanders. She might be able to take them all down if she was careful of the flames. Konomi might've seen it on her face; the scars Sora bore on her face, arm, and leg were all scars from being trapped in a demon's fire once upon a time. It had been quick some time, so her scars weren't nearly as painful looking as they used to be, but they hadn't entirely faded either. She was putting herself in an even more dangerous situation since, this time, it wasn't just a single pyromaniac demon, but an entire horde.

She didn't show it since she wasn't near the flames, but she hated all things fire related. If anybody else would've done it, Sora wouldn't have had a problem, but she seemed to be the only one free of the horde that attacked her. She brought her hand back down, crossing her arms over her chest as she, very calmly, stated what she needed. "In the event that I don't kill them all, try to get clear of the blast area. Don't want you to burn to a crisp, after all." With that in mind, she gave him a choice, and allowed him to make it. She was going to make a few risky moves, but in the end, what mattered was how much work she got done.

Koumori's laughter had vanished into the silence as he worriedly looked at the teen carrying a quite pissed expression. That wasn't good. That wasn't good at all. Konomi hated being controlled. And the female certainly sounded like she was ordering the young exorcist around. And what was with her slamming her foot on the ground like that. Did she try to show Konomi that she was superior and that he was bound to listen and follow her words? That wasn't how it worked for the blue haired boy. She had to earn his respect before she could use that kind of tone with him.

Konomi approached Sora, his expression showing full well that he wasn't quite happy with her words. "Now listen. Shorty." He used the same kind of tone the young woman had ordered him with. "First of all, don't call me a child when you are good 5 inches shorter than me and are f**king baby faced. Also my name is Konomi. Try to remember it," this time his tone got lower and sounded a bit more dangerous rather than commanding. Konomi pretty much knew that the young woman was quite stronger than him considering that there was no one around and the countless dead bodies lying on the floor were most likely her doing. Sure, the demons hadn't been that strong but he had to fight only 7 of them and he hadn't been alone while she had had to fight x10 of the number. And she didn't seem to have a scratch either despite the blood covering her uniform. However, Konomi being Konomi, he didn't give a sh*t. "Second. Never. And I mean absolutely NEVER use that tone with me again. I don't care if u can snap my neck in a matter of seconds if u pleased, cause I'll make sure my f**king spirit will hunt you down to the depth of hell, and not even your sh*tty exorcist abilities will help you get out of the situation." Koumori simply facepalmed as he listened to his masters words. He was sure that Konomi had already figured out that the way the girl talked wasn't really intentional. After all, the following warning about the salamanders had showed concern. But... He still didn't like the way the girl talked so he HAD to correct her.

"Lastly. Don't you dare underestimate my strength. I won't let a bunch of stupid demons kill me that easily. Especially since I'm not fighting alone," As he said those last words he looked at his familiar. Though there was no smile on his face, the bat demon could already see the toothy grin behind the scowling mask Konomi had put for the raven haired female. They really made a good team. Koumori felt proud to have him as a master... even though he could be an absolute a*****e at times.

Sora stared blankly at Konomi, her expression ever unchanging while she checked her remaining time. She wouldn't say she had a time limit, but she'd rather get through as quickly as possible. She didn't really care for his height, or attitude, or anything of the sort. There was a greater objective at hand, so his ego could wait. She ran her hand through her hair, pushing it behind her ears for the time being. "Do what you want; I don't care. Make your decision and live with it." Sora stated firmly through her monotone voice before turning her back to Konomi and staring at the path in front of her. Sure, she said she didn't care, and her single-toned voice as well as her blank expression might've made that seem true, but Sora had promised she'd fight just as hard for everybody she met, even if she didn't know them.

Sora took a deep breath and recounted what she had seen...there weren't that many, so if she played her cards right she might be fine. She just had to avoid the flames, that was all...her enemies were larger than her, but it wasn't as if they could stop her at all. Just like with the demons she just killed, she reminded herself that there were two types of fear. The one that kept you alive, and the one that got you killed. While she was more than confident in her own strength, she recalled that day that caused her to come here in the first place. "No point going over it again..." Sora mumbled underneath her breath as she set out on a sprint. She had to climb the entire tower so she could reach her targets, otherwise she'd be dead on the ground. She had to do something, or anything to fix the situation before it got even more out of control.

That familiar clicking sound of her heels touching the ground quickly faded out as she left the scene and the mauled corpses. She wasn't going to impose her will on somebody who would be a liability if she did as much. It was probably safer for him on the ground, but she would find that out once she scoped out the rest of the academy from the roof. This was not her idea of a great way to spend her day, but she wouldn't have to worry about it so long as more irreparable damage was prevented. "That boy...hopefully he survives." Sora chuckled a little, thinking on future events now that the playing field had been altered slightly. There was no time for that, however. She had to get to the clock tower without delay. [/exit]

Konomi simply stared blankly at the answer the girl had decided to give him, a bit taken aback by her nonchalant attitude. Wow, there actually was somebody who didn't actually snap back at Konomi's rudeness. That was certainly a first for him. Truly remarkable. He watched the older teen quickly turn her back on Konomi, waisting no time to beat the crap out of the monsters as she soon headed for the clock tower. She wasn't really planning to climb her way up there, was she? Well that question was immediately answered because in a matter of seconds Sora's feet had already left the ground, climbing up the wall as if she had done it countless of times already. But... what did he know, maybe climbing up the school building was some sort of daily training the exorcist had to undergo. Anyways, if he wanted to kick some demon asses today as well he'd better follow her quickly. It's just climbing, how difficult could it actually prove to be. If she could do it, why not him as well. And, even if it did prove to be difficult, he had Koumori to support him, though he'd rather die than actually accept his help in such a simple task.

"We better go and follow her or she'll be there before we even get close to the building." Kono said to his familiar. "Are you sure you can climb all that?" Koumori was a bit concerned about his master. The building was quite tall. He had wings, he was a bat so that posed no difficulty for him but Konomi... Would he really be able to keep up with the woman and him? But the angry look that was thrown at the bat quickly told him that he certainly should not underestimate his partners power. After all, he was the one he had chosen to follow and fight for. Of course he'd climb that sh*tty wall with ease.

With a sprint, Konomi quickly reached the wall as Koumori was already heading to the top by flight. He did not look back, he was sure that Kono-chan would be able to get by even without his help. He might be a noob, but he was strong nonetheless. This will make a fine training for the untrained exorcist. After this battle, he was sure to come out stronger than before, and maybe even learn something new about himself.

The crimson wings flapped twice as the young demon came to the path leading to the Academy. She could see it perfectly now; the grand staircase and trees that circled the location that was home to the Japan Branch of the True Cross Order. Her leather soles tapped along the ground as he wings vanished leaving only the appearance of the crimson haired and eyed girl. The black cloak around her body flapped around as she looked at the burning trees as embers sparked around her body canceling out the remaining effects of the barrier. Shana expanded her demonic aura causing flames to take over the side forest, burning through everything she passed as she walked. ”Alastor, I think it’s time we bring this barrier down, for good.” she said as she reached behind her and unsheathed the sword as she climbed up the stairs and then came to a stop as she reached the courtyard which was still in pretty good shape. The barrier hadn’t completely lost all its power, but that wasn’t going to stop the demon girl, as she raised the blade into the air. A male voice then came from the blade as flames started to engulf the sword. ”Shana, you should know there’s a faint amount of Qi coming in this direction, from above” The young Flame Haze placed her left on the bottom of the hilt loosely as her position changed. The blade faced away from her body as the point of the katana touched the concrete. The young demon closed her eyes for a second as she focused her energy around the blade, the crimson flames that were surging around the steel of Enraiha turned a bright golden in color. ”This barrier is coming down!” the demon called out as she took a single step forward and slashed her blade diagonally across the field before her. The flames stretched from the sword and soon the barrier’s enormous size was revealed as the golden flames burned at the barrier, eating at the Qi.

The golden flames quickly spread around the whole school turning what would appear to all those inside to believe the academy was sealed within a sphere of gold flames. Shana watched the flames as the clung to the barrier and then changed her stance once again allowing Enriha to be covered in flames once again. ”Eruption!” she yelled as she pushed forward and stabbed Enriha into the fire covered barrier. She allowed her Qi to burst causing a chain reaction to generate a massive amount of golden fire and heat to rise from the ground underneath the Academy. Suddenly molten magma erupt from the ground deafening fiery explosions and torrents in the form of golden liquid flame in the form of geysers. The flames came erupted from different areas from within the barrier and around the perimeter of the academy. Shana pulled Enriha from the flames as the barrier started to melt from the amount of heat she was producing utilizing Enriha’s power and her own demonic skills. ”Don’t you think that was a little much? Your first strike was more than enough to get their attention and even destroy the barrier in time.” Alastor commented as the flames around the blade were absorbed into the metal. Shana didn’t reply until she pointed at the barrier with the sword and smirked. ”Destroying the barrier in time isn’t what the assignment calls for. We’re to destroy the barrier and bring Sissy back to Lord Iblis, and in the process allow the Exorcist to know we are at war with them.”

Shana lowered the blade with her right hand and allowed her left hand to fall to her hip. The wind swirled through her crimson hair, cloak, and skirt as she stood in the middle of the archway watching the barrier melt under the sheer heat. ”Flames brought forth from the demon blade Enriha burns with the same intensity of a fiend, and by changing the type of flame I want to use, the same heat is produced giving a melting effect to all metal and objects the flames touch, while burning through any source of Qi they come in contact with. This was thought through Alastor. I’ll bring Sissy back with me. Anyone foolish enough to get in the way will be reduced to ash.” she said as the flames danced before her eyes. Shana watched as the barrier melted down as the flames continued to eat at the barrier.
