Evalia blinked, then laughed in a delighted manner, a faint blush across her cheeks. It seemed for once she had the fortune of running into a genuinely sweet stranger. It would have been very easy to make that comment come off as very creeperish, but Björn's happy demeanor and playful wink put her at ease.
Eva was listening intently to him when the gasps from other started to sound off, and she herself tilted her eyes up to the stars. Fireworks maybe? But no, even over the roaring drone of the crowd, she had heard no noise that was generally associated with fireworks. Shooting stars maybe? But no... Then suddenly she was gasping with the rest. Those dainty little shooting stars suddenly became rabbits. Soft little balls of shining fur adorned with butterfly wings.
The man attempted to put himself between her and the strange little flying fuzzballs, but before he could they were indeed both bopped on the head, and then they were just gone. She felt strange, not in pain, but just wrong.
Eva had been halfway behind him, and she had put a hand to his back, peering around him, delicate slender fingers holding onto the fabric of his shirt. He turned and to look at her, but her eyes were only wide and scared. She took a deep breath, but a feeling of loss was prominent in her senses, and her body was shivering slightly. " I... I don't feel right either.. but I', ok, thank you... " It really was a lie, and if Björn was intuitive at all, it would be easy for him to see.
She had gotten herself into such a calm place mentally, delighting over the trill of meeting a kind stranger and letting herself sink into the camaraderie of a city wide celebration... But suddenly the fact that she lived in the world filled with the supernatural came crashing back. Never mind that these were fluffy bunnies with cute little wings, she couldn't get over the notion that they had just taken something precious from her.
" I.. I have no idea what they were... what is a Lygtemænd? " She asked, the word falling strange and foreign from her mouth.

"...Yeah." He cleared his throat uncertainly, uncomfortable with the confirmation that he hadn't just imagined the whole thing, gotten a dose of bad beer. What he didn't know was who or what was behind it. They didn't have the signature dose of ugly that he associated with Youma, but he'd never seen senshi summon creatures. "Yeah that's what I saw too." He noted, now looking around more openly. "...I think maybe we weren't the only ones either...maybe." ...OK why was he chatting about this with a stranger? He knew her from Eve. She was, for all he knew, just some poor shmuck that happened to live here in the middle of this territory war. "Heh. Destiny City I guess. When is it ever normal? I guess we're lucky to still have our faces attached or what not."

Lily had been off from work, but as they ended up near there anyway she went and allowed her boss to shuffle her into a new outfit and decided to help out for a while. She at one point had to rescue her brother from the clutches on her boss, but not before she manipulated him into an absolutely stunning new outfit. She looked at her brother who looked like a whole new person, not just Mr. Polo shirt and khaki pants. No he has a nice white button down with gold buttons, a pair of dark blue acid washed jeans, and nice grey jacket.
"My that really suits you Xander," she squealed before looking to her boss, "we'll take it Phina. He's going to wear it out."
Xander gave his sister an exasperated look, but it was short lived as he found himself trying to wiggle his way out of Phina's clutches. "Of course. I know best about these sort of things. Someone as delectable as you should look the part every so often."
Lily frowned at her boss and pulled her over to the register, "you can harass him another day. Let me pay for the clothes so we can all get ready to watch the eclipse."
Phina found herself laughing at Lily, she was very close to the girl since she came back from Destiny City, even the little incident when Lily pushed her into a piece of furniture had been forgotten, moved past. She still had her suspicions about that night, but she figured she would find out in due time.
"Alright, let ring you up," she said walking ahead of Lily, "Everyone the eclipse will start soon. If you could make your final purchases or if you are not finish just hand them to an employee, we will be closing the the eclipse viewing and we will reopen right after its conclusion."
Lily quickly grabbed all Xander tags and headed up to pay for both their outfit, "Meet you outside Xander."
Xander nodded once again looking at his phone and heading outside with some of the other customers while wondering where his brother could be. Lily came back out short and and grinned, "This is has been fun so far Xander, even if I did end up working for a bit thanks."
"You're welcome," he said before pointing to the sky where the eclipse was starting, "Now that a sight to see."
The eclipse was lovely but it soon lead to many a bewildered face as little winged creatures appeared and touching someone and disappearing. Xander and Phina just stared while the little creature touched them and disappeared, but Lily back away from it slightly wary, still it touched her anyway.
Both Xander and Lily looked at each other concern on there faces letting each other know that they had both seen it. Phina noted the siblings brief glance and filed it away.
Xander and Lily both turned at the sound of their names being called and Xander looked relieved. "Alex, I was getting worried. Why didn't you text me back and let me know you we're here."
Lily grinned and ran up to her blonde brother and threw her arms around the smaller boy, "I missed you Alex. We have seen each other in so long." She looked to Xander, "so that's why you kept looking at your phone."
Xander just gave a sheepish grin and shrugged, "come on you too, lets try some of these moon pies or watch the costume contest." For now he's ignore what happened, it was bad enough he and Lily were concerned about what it could mean. No need to worry Alex.
Phina headed back inside to reopen her show and get everyone back in and situated.

"I found most of them yeah, but at least two boxes of winter clothes I did find need to be thrown in the wash." her nose crinkled a little remembering the stale odor that permeated some of her nicer sweaters. After sitting in the attic at their last place for almost a year it was kind of expected.
"Some things rarely change, you always come prepared. But..." she paused giving her friend a wink "I did remember the blankets. Buuuut I'm guessing you remembered that too right?" Cheeks and nose tinted a pinkish hue, Hannah offered her friend a sheepish grin. It wasn't that she was a flaky person, it was just that... yeah no she was flaky, at when it came to remembering to bring necessities like suntan lotion to the beach when it's 95 degrees out.
"I could definitely go for a hot chocolate," The expression on Hannah's face took on a cat like appearance, eyes closed with a huge grin, if only humans could purr... Linking her left arm with Delilah's right, Hannah thrusted her hand in the air all dramatic like, her index finger pointed upward "we should go..." letting gravity take over bringing her arm down parallel with the ground, she pointed towards the fray where the mass of people were located standing just outside the various shops and restaurants "THAT WAY" she finished a little too enthusiastically.
She missed Destiny City, being around friends, going to familiar places, but most of all she truly missed being around Delilah; which made an outing like this just that much more special.
------------------------------------------------- Mei looked from the man whom she assumed to be either the owner or the manager to the blonde haired boy on the other side of the counter, Jude, or at least that's what his name tag said. "Hi," she flashed him a sincere 'hello' smile "I'd like to try one of your Blackout Boba Tea please."
Reaching into her side bag, she pulled out her wallet to pay for what she hoped would be a delicious beverage. Nodding her head in the direction his boss "I'm assuming he means you're off for the night. Do you plan on sticking around to watch the eclipse?"

Rosa didn’t trust the eclipse. Yes, she was there to view it, and yes, she was in her civilian form – which almost left her feeling naked these days, but whatever – but she was there to keep an eye on things. And when she found herself surrounded by a hoarde of floating space bunnies, she thought her paranoia was justified. But then the bunnies vanished.
Crossing her arms across her chest, she sulked and muttered,“ I don’t like it” under her breath.

A flicker of a smile, reassured as the young man took a seat beside her. It was an incredibly small gesture, so simple, but it eased a measure of tension from the the girl's shoulder and more followed with his answer. A kindred spirit perhaps? At the very least, someone of similar standing she could keep company with, however temporary. It was getting dark, darker even then the passage of time could excuse, and Bibi rolled here eyes up towards the disappearing sun. Not directly at it, but in that general direction. She blinked at the shimmering, head tilting as it grew more pronounced, then drew a low breath as the shimmer grew into what appeared to be rabbits with glittering butterfly wings. Rabbits that the young man beside her didn't appear to see? She frowned as a tiny paw touched her forehead and vanished, brow pinching as she glanced sidelong at Magiore before shaking her head and rubbing here eyes. Clearly she'd dared to peek too long at the sun. That had to be it. She was still frowning thoughtfully when his voice pulled her attention. "I wouldn't say good, but I suppose something can be said for the experience." Another small smile, more friendly this time. "I'm not one for crowds either, but like you, I felt this was preferable to spending the evening at home."

Alistair sighed affectionately. "Love, it's okay, no one is judging us for a kiss," he said, gently stroking his boyfriend's hair."I'm sure," Gabriel said, slowly disentangling himself from Des. "Thanks, though." They didn't know each other all that well, and yet just like with the movie, Des had rushed to comfort him.Cait had intended to meet Lance and Gabriel for the eclipse, but given how things had gone between Gabriel and Des at Des's birthday, and of course Lance and Alistair being together - well. She didn't need to be a fifth wheel, no thanks. She was out long enough to catch the eclipse itself, and the descent of the strange rabbit-things filled her with dread.
It was then that she realized that she was actually rather close to Slave ot the Grind - and it had been a while since she'd talked to Jude; it would be nice to see him again. Plus, being warm and inside with coffee sounded better than wondering what the hell was going on out here.
So she walked into the coffee shop, and was surprised to see another friend there. "Hey, Mei! Hi Jude!"

Lance made a quiet little noise before eventually picking his head up. He glanced over at Desmond and Gabriel to find they weren't event paying attention. This just caused him to turn read again. "..Sorry." He muttered, nuzzling against Alistair's hair. Lance was fine with affection when it was just them. But in a group? Forget it, awkward times hoooo. Even if Lance knew the other members of their party. Desmond just shifted, hiding his hands away in his hoodie's front pocket. "Any time Angel."

"I went to get a drink first and then this odd little...show happened." He spoke, the displeasure coating every syllable which fell from his lips. He obviously disliked that special little show. He also didn't trust it and was worried by it and how could he not be? He'd been turned into a cat once! As he stood there, watching the two red heads, he sipped his drink slowly and tilted his head just a bit - right before stumbling from Lily's sudden hug and weight.
"I know. I apologize but I've been so busy with school and the new job." Had she told him about that? He was fairly sure he had told her about his new job, and what had happened with his previous job. When he drew back from Lily his attention went to Xander and he stared before moving toward him, as if to follow him, but clearly the blond was checking him out - or rather his clothing. "Lily....is the clothing your doing? Or someone elses? " He questioned before looking up at Xander and flashing a smile. "Because - no offence - but you don't have the sense of style to pick such an outfit. It looks very good on you." And was actually something he'd even get for himself, no surprise to those who knew him of course.
"Either way - I want that outfit for myself. Do they perhaps have the coat in black or even a dark blue...or a light gray?" He ventured to ask, fashion quickly replacing his fears of the earlier events of the night - for now at least.

"It's fine, darling," Alistair said, laughing softly. "I find your awkwardness endearing." One of the many things he found endearing about the blond, of course, but definitely one. "What are you going to do when I start meeting you on campus? Or when I take you out on dates to nice restaurants?"Gabriel couldn't help but smile at the nickname. It was cute, and he'd certainly never been someone's "angel." "You're a good friend, Des, and I'm glad Cait introduced us." Speaking of, where was Cait? Had she ditched?

Lance just nuzzled into Alistair more, groaning. "You're going to make me dress up aren't you?" He sighed. "You're just going to have too much fun with that.." The violet haired boy smiled back. "Me too Angel." He said reaching over and using it as an excuse to ruffing the boys hair.

Good gracious, Ruthie either had eyes larger than her stomach, or she could put it away like a champ. Or she had an eating disorder. His gaze immediately went to her knuckles, looking for wear or roughness. It wasn't something to toy with or about, and given the various coping mechanisms or lack thereof with overwhelming stressors... When I first found her she was already exhausted to collapse. He furrowed his brow, searching her face while she laughed and piled on sweet potato french fries. Innocuous, ubiquitous fried food those. The she lifted hers, and he followed. And he startled. What...are... rabbits? With wings? Did they step into a children's book? His own protestations long ago about Puss-in-boots being their bosom ally came back to him in unfortunate shades. Then they were all touched, and it tugged. Where did the go? What where they? Quenton instantly regretted not having reacted faster-not having caught one in hand. "Nevermind the vegetables, those rabbits...winged rabbits! You saw them, right? " He put a hand against her's, the one under and supporting her plate.

"I have yet to see you dressed up, but I imagine you look fantastic," Alistair said, and his mind was very suddenly tracked down the image of Lance in a suit. Oh yes, he had to see this in person sooner rather than later.
Perhaps he should've been worrying more about the moon rabbits, but frankly, they were gone, and he didn't feel particularly dead - so they seemed a small concern. Whatever was coming of that would come of it.Gabriel made a small groaning noise. "Do you have to with the hair ruffling?" He asked, frowning, though there wasn't a lot of actual irritation in his tone.

Xander frowned at his brother's words and nodded, "It was unexpected, but I'm sure whoever put it together, just wanted to make the event extra special, no harm no foul." He gave his brother a smile and laughed, "looked like a failed attempt at mass holographic. Who know in this city."
"Thats okay Alex. I've been so busy too, with school and work and ballet and music. My day is so full," she said with a nod to Alex. "I'll drop by for a visit one day soon okay and we can catch up on everything."
Xander stopped for a moment when he released his brother was staring and look around to see what he was looking at only to at hearing his words frown at the slight insult to him.
Lily shook her head, "not me, both of your outfits are my boss' doing," before pointing the mannequin sporting her outfit. "Xander doesnt have a mannequin because Phina had just been forcing him into more suiting to his good looks. You met Phina before, fellow red head, tall, pretty, ridiculously flirtatious."
"You two, it's not like I'm bad a picking out clothes. I just have simple tastes, not that I dont like this, its just not something I would usually pick," he said with a slight frown.
"There's nothing wrong with simple Xander, but sometimes you have to change it up a little. As for his outfit the coat does come in all those colors. We can get it for you now before Phina's gets to busy and while I can use my employee discount since im here!"
Xander looked over himself slightly confused, "is it really that nice?" Even while he asked the question he resolved for once to take a good look in the mirror.
"It does Xander, you should let your hair down too, show off a little. Bet there a nice hat that will compliment the outfit well, right Alex?"

The blonde whined. He loathed dressing up. This was gonna suck. "I'm going to find something you detest and we're doing it." Lance pouted. He glanced up at the moon again. What where those things?
"Can't help it. I told you I like you're hair." He teased. "Hold on..." Des scooted closer, running his hands through Gabriel's hair again to 'fix it'. "Better?"
