Marlin startled a little at the touch on his arm, smiling in relief when he saw Castille standing there. "I think so" he said, he had all pieces attached and in working order after all. "You?"
At her mention of Margarita he shook his head, "I was looking around for you both as it happens" he admitted glancing around again at the faces of the people around.
Spotting what looked like blue hair, he added "Actually that might be her over there. I'll go and..." his voice tailed off as a teen with hair that looked reddish-brown in the blazing light keeping the monsters by their view came over in their direction. "I'll go and check" he finished, adding "I'll meet you back over here" nodding politely to the reddish-brown haired teen as he reached them.
It didn't take long to walk over to where he'd seen the blue-haired teen and Marlin was relieved to see that it was in fact Margarita. "Hey" he called out to her as he walked over. "Are you okay? Castille made it too" he indicated back the way he'd come from. "She's over there."

Arian looked over when he heard another voice addressing him "I'm okay" he said quietly, his face on the wan side but he managed a slight smile recognising Isha but not the strawberry blonde-haired eskimo nearby that he'd also been addressing.
"I was up by the Boat House/ Dock area" he admitted. "But I don't think anyone else was up in that particular area although I tried to look." Or at least if they had been then he hadn't crossed paths with them. "Something pushed me this way too, I'm glad you're okay." At least Isha seemed okay.
Turning to Orah he added "Orah, this is Isha" before looking at Isha and adding "Isha this is Orah."

Castille smiled back, happy that someone she knew was nearby, even if it meant they were both in danger. The thought of a Negaverse plot still hung around in her head. And if that were the case, she would have to protect her new friends.
When Marlin went to fine Margarita, Castille was left with the newly resurfaced Isha, who looked as battered and worn as she was sure she did.
"We were over by the Mess Hall." she said to Isha after he was introduced to someone named Orah. "We got attacked by two different...things before we were chased over here." her eyed went back to the darkness outside the fire, and she shivered, wrapping her arms around herself. This whole thing was so spooky...
Orah was incredibly glad to see her friends and when Arian approached, she met him half way with an eager step.
"I'm so glad you're okay... Gwen and I started out together, but we were attacked in the forrest by a monster and... I got scared." She said as she blushed, starting to feel ashamed for her lack of courage. The teen was able to face down youma and the negaverse, but this was something else. Orah hated scary movies and this was far too much like living in one. "I ended up back at the boat house, but then I was chaised back here. Were you all attacked by monsters...?"
Her eyes moved about as she was introduced to another boy, taking in someone else's story of another monster attack.
"Its nice to meet you." She said softly, her mind spinning. What was going on here? It felt off some how. Were the monsters real? No one seemed to be physically hurt, beyond the host, and... well no one had actually seen him attacked.

The Fire Pit Gwendolyn Caspian: + Strong / - Reckless / HP: 7
Gwen never wanted to admit that she was maybe just a tad bit startled by affairs and if anyone had asked her about it, she'd immediately deny it. No, she wasn't scared, simply taken off guard, which was something she hated with a passion but seemed to fall into that trap far too many times and so easily. If she was in her powered form, none of this would have bothered her.
Yet, she was nothing more than a civilian, and with too many people and these 'creatures' around, it was just too dangerous to risk her identity. So she 'played' along, not once realizing she had been separated from Orah until she heard her calling out for her, and it wasn't long before she was corraled with the rest of them back at the Fire Pits.
"Well, that's one way of bringing us back together..." Gwen said, in an effort to comfort Arian and Orah, as well as anyone else around them. She kept herself stiff and firm, not wanting them to think that for a moment this was starting to get to her, and she looked around with anticipation. "Big mistake on their part, I think."
Just stay strong and brave, Gwen thought, and no one would notice her fear.
The snarls and growls of the monsters echo inside the little ring of fire and you are each reminded that just because you are together does not mean you are safe. And there's less of you now than there were before. What happened to the others? What was their fate? The reunion is short lived as a monster make an appearance and tries to snatch the closest person to it, Arian. Something tells you that your night isn't quite over yet...
So sorry this Event took me longer than expected. For each post made roll 1 d 20. If the roll is even a monster has tried to catch your character and has failed. If the roll is odd the monster has indeed caught your character and you must roll another odd number to get away. When you do subtract 2 points. Other players may attempt to free your character by rolling a d 20 and saying that this is a rescue attempt. HOWEVER, they risk being hurt on an odd roll (subtract 1 HP from their total). This is the grand finale so have fun with it! It is important to QUOTE ME on the post when your HP reaches zero. This finale will run for the next 3 days and will end on Wed, Oct 23rd at 11:59pm PST at which point the player with the highest HP total, or the player that held out longest, will be declared sole survivor. You can't win if you don't play! It should be mentioned that you must participate in the finale in order to be declared the winner. You can't win by default... As always, PM me with ?s.
Melons and Litian - your prizes for the trivia are not useless here. You both now have 1 get out of jail free card meaning you may negate being caught by a monster on an odd roll OR you may automatically free another player from a monster's grip. Simply put in bold at the bottom of your post that you are using your perk.

Arian looked over as Gwen approached, nodding at her comment. "True" he agreed quietly, his attention on Gwen. "There's saftey in numbers after..."
The sentence went unfinished tailing off into in a startled yelp as he found himself suddenly yanked off his feet and into the grip of a monster which up to that point had gone unnoticed by him.
"Let him go!" There was no way Isha was going to let some random crazed monster take his teacher away! In an attempt to rescue the boy, he reached up, grasping at the monster before him!
And yet, his efforts were in vain! He was thrown away, leaving Arian in the monster's grasp, finding his own self on the ground. Dammit!

The Fire Pit Scott Erlea: + Fast / - Conscpiuous / HP: 4.5
Scott thought that he'd handle his own shame well enough, but he had thought wrong. The moment he fled and abandoned Mei and Fleur, he felt absolutely horrible, and the thought of going back to help them crossed his mind once or twice. After all, Mei had saved him from the club-wielding lunatic… and what had Scott done?
Fled, like a coward.
He wanted to go back, even if it earned him scorn from her, but then another circumstance made him take to the whole 'run for your lives' tactic. This time, there was no way for him to outrun or dodge, and by the time Scott made it to the Fire Pit, he was cut and bruised from hitting branches and tripping over his own feet, and his bracelet was flashing so fast that it might have given someone a seizure.
But he was there, and alive, if that was a blessing, and the sight of one of the monsters grabbing Arian made him shriek. "WAIT, THIS IS BAD! WE'VE BEEN HERDED LIKE CATTLE NOW! WE'RE DOOMED!"

Gwen wanted to smack the blond with the Fu Man Chu mustache when he started shrieking, but she refrained. All of her effort went towards grabbing at Arian, hoping to grab an arm or leg before he was pulled away. "I don't think so! No one takes off with my friends!"

"Arian!" Orah cried out as a monster grabbed hold of her friend. This... this wasn't supposed to happen! This was supposed to be fun, a party... why did it always go so wrong?
She went to help Gwen in freeing him, but a blurred shape cut her off. The dark-haired teen started as the monster loomed before her and she stumbled back, letting out a squeak of fear. It... it was huge! And the way it growled at her... its fangs bared and dripping saliva... it was honestly terrifying, and what's more, it was reaching for her!
Orah screamed as it grabbed her arm and she shoved at it, its rank smell washing over her.
Fire Pits + Quiet, - Slow HP: 7 Bonus: Get Out of Jail Free
Castille stared in horror as people started getting attacked. She gasped as Isha went after one of the monsters who had grabbed another person, but her legs remained rooted to the ground.
"What the hell is going on!?" she shouted, and a monster took this shout as an invitation to attack her. She shrieked and ducked, avoiding the grasping claw of one of the awful creatures.
"Is there anywhere we can run?" she called out to the group, covering her head with her hands and pressing her hood against her hair.

As he waited for Margarita's response to his question Marlin found himself distracted by some commotion from the end of the Fire Pits that he had only recently vacated, looking over in time to spot a dark-haired teen with a long braid being yanked off her feet and up into the grip of one of those monster things.
Distracted by the girl's plight, Marlin almost missed the fact that he too was in danger, only a whisper of sound at the last minute alerting himself to the potential trouble.
"s**t, watch out!" He called out to Margarita as he tried to twist out of the way of the arm descending in his direction.
He was successful, but his hat - at hat that had managed to stick with him through the two monster attacks at the Mess Hall - was not so lucky, plucked from his head and into the grip of the monster.
Relieved as he was that the attack on his person had missed, Marlin couldn't help but mourn the hat - he'd loved that hat.
Arian hadn't made for a happy captive, doing his best to struggle against the grip that the monster had on him, although it felt more like flailing rather than outright struggles.
Eventually however, it seemed that he managed to get lucky, a kick managing to connect against the monster causing it to loose its grip on him.
Down he fell, the breath rushing out of him in an whoosh as he hit the ground awkwardly.
INCOMING! The monsters swarm and start getting bolder in their quest to eliminate each and every partier from the field.
I will be RNG every 30 minutes or so for the rest of the event. Everyone's name will be on the list with a number of entries equal to how much HP your character has left. If your number comes up a point is subtracted. I will quote you when this happens. (yay spam of quotes! XD Sorry in advance). If my numbers are off PLEASE let me know ASAP
