And if we die, I’ll meet you up in ђєคשєภ Vern's sweat dropped a bit when he realized that Lel still didn't understand. If only he'd witnessed his performance against Mister Lennon during the Final Exams! Then he'd understand how coordination could help him with battle strategy! Gaw! Oh well. Class was starting and it was time to put away five of his Pokémon. Since Valene and Shirudo had been battling not long earlier, he figured it was safe to put them away for the time being, and sent out Rae. His Kirlia twirled around him and immediately clung to his leg, not happy about being sent out for gym class. It was hard to believe that Vern's Haxorus and his Kirlia were the same level, but yet appeared to be so different just by their evolutionary stages. Why Rae hadn't evolved yet completely dumbfounded Vern, so he never really thought about it.
"Waaa-! Oh hello there...Fluff." He paused to hear what the Minccino's name was. Vern was immediately found of it just because it was a Unova Pokémon. He scratched Fluff behind the ears, letting her snuggle up to him without any complaints. Why would he? Cute fluffy Pokémon were adorable!
"Oh hey Iris. Eh, probably something incredibly dangerous, just hopefully no fire. Sure, that was weeks ago, but I'd rather not have to deal with that again, but you and I both know that some idiot'll be the one to set the place on fire again." He even had a fire type with him that time! But Vern had at least been smart enough not to have Lavenia use any of her fire-type attacks. Kazu came over and patted his back in greeting. "Yo, Kazu. Ready for Gym?" He quietly hoped that Jason wouldn't go over and harass him, and instead keep his focus on poor Iris.XXYou’re everything I’ve been waiting for

He spoke mostly sarcastically. She was feminine in ways, though she wasn't exactly his own mother. Fliskile helped him back up and Taku got back into his seat. " By the way, it's Taku. Ta. Koo. I'm not a food item." He popped his back, feeling some strain relieved. But as he was settled back in, he looked to her to respond to her little rant/question. " And no, Miss Phoenix didn't send me here, I came of my own choice. Though it sounds like she hasn't gotten on you about it. Why do you ask? You afraid of that scenario?" Iris nodded her head, looking up at Kazuma now and then "Sure, I would love a battle." she said, "But don't expect an easy battle my girl Mizuko is a spunky fighter so she's not going down without a fight. That's for sure."
She started chuckled as she looked to Vern as he answered her. She really hoped that there was going to fire either since she didn't want to get burned or scarred or have her pokemon suffer the same fate due to her negligence. She laughed when he mentioned that an idiot would set the fire when she suddenly when her behind was smacked. No matter how playful it was, it still sting.
Iris rubbed her backside looking at Jason as he greeted her and asked how she was feeling. She turned around to look at him, a smile on her face. "Hey there buddy..." She said as she extend her hand back and brought to him back, in a 'hardy' pat on the back. She watched as he fell forward and then knelt down to look at him with that same smile on her face. "How are you holding up. Did that coffee do the trick for ya?"
She chuckled, extending her hand to pick him as she stood up. "Now the lesson we learned today is not to touch below the waist."

 Lydia hurried along side Maria into class, with Blaze hanging on as best it could to her shoulder. "We... made it...!" She huffed and panted. Out of time and out of breath in the chilly October air, her breath steamed from her mouth in a little stream. It looked like the class hadn't started just yet, which gave her a small window to find the one person that stood out like a sore thumb. And there he was! Over by Vern! Eager to get in the question before the "lesson" began, she trotted over with a high wave. "Lel! Lel, I wanted to ask you," She called, out of breath again with little time between each run. "I wanted to get something for all of us to eat when we start our training today, but I don't know anything you like to eat, so I was wondering what I should bring," She smiled, feeling a small sense of accomplishment. "I know that you and Maria have more classes today than I do, so I was gonna pick some stuff up from the cafeteria anyway."
From out of the wood work came Jason, and her skin stiffened while the hair on her neck stood strait up. How could Iris stand him?! He was such a jerk! And a pervert! Lydia couldn't imagine anyone being friends with him. Ever! He was nothing like Devin or Vince, Vern, Lel, or Kazu--guys that were actually nice!

Lél still muttered, finally getting up in time for the girls in two-oh-two to gather around him. It was something that caught him off guard, Lydia offering to cook (or, that's how he translated it). Actually, to the tall and broad young man was actually... kind of touched by that notion. He'd been in this place with foreign and starchy food, and there was very little he could actually make for himself. The question wasn't what he liked, but what he wanted most! "Bejgli," He said, quickly enough. It didn't occur to him until he saw a confused look that she had no idea what that might be. "Isch like... Puhppy seed roll, or vith nuts. Ish shveet tasting und shalty. Good."
It didn't take him long to think up thing else he'd want. "Pörkölt und pogácsa... orr Töltött káposzta... Schtuffed cabbage," Seeing a still puzzled look, he gave up. It wasn't worth the frustration of trying to explain it.Hana wondered in, holding fast to her little togepi. She kept away, alone from everyone else. This would be her first gym class since that day...
Her arms were wrapped up, like they always were since then, and her hands. Her neck and the part of her cheek that were scarred were always kept hidden. Her skin had become so sensitive that even the air stung it. She wished now that she hadn't been so harsh with Lydia on that day. The oils that she had given Hana and showed how to use them had been of great relief on those particularly hard times (mostly the morning).

Rina walked into the gym, a bit depressed. She had thought about getting a note from the nurse since her back was still injured, but she didn't want to make a commotion. Plus she has taken some pain killers before class so maybe she could get by class without too much pain. She just sighed, maybe they weren't going to do any running. Maybe they would just stretch for a while. She of course knew that wasn't going to happen anytime soon, not with gym class. She just sighed some more, hoping to get class over with as quickly as possible.

Misuki walked over, Quilava perched on her shoulder. She looked around, but still didn't see anyone she knew. She shrugged and continued to walk around, there was a lot of unknown faces here. She wondered is she should try and talk to someone, but who could she talk to? She sighed, gym may not have been her favorite class, but she was pretty good at it. She sighed, "well might as well wait until the teacher comes" she said, smiling. It was then that Quilva jumped off her shoulder and stretched. Mitsuki smiled, "great idea! Stretching is essential when it comes to gym class" she said, as she joined Quilava. After a few minutes of stretching she finally relaxed and stood up, her eyes moving around. Still no teacher huh?

Selena walked to class, a bit nervous. She was terrible at gym, and she never really did understand why teachers made their students run. It wasn't like they were going to die if they didn't get the best time of their lives. Rilou walked along side her, his arms crossed like usual. Vulpix was tired so she decided to take Riolu with her this time. Besides, he like to run more then Vulpix does. She noticed Lydia, but she felt a bit timid because Lydia had kind of forgotten her mote than once. She just sighed, hopefully class wouldn't be as strenuous this time around.

"I've heard it both ways," Lyra brushed off Taku's annoyed correction. "I got the termination paper thingy late last night. So I'm out by the end of the week." She spoke in a lax tone, not even getting up any rage about it. This was, after all, probably her longest run of employment. "But! Since I went through all this trouble!" She pulled the line, covering the whole of the arena in a thick tarp. Blackness. She couldn't help but snicker with pleasure when a girly shrill came out of the dark.
"Okay baby faces LISTEN UP!" She took a flashlight to put under her chin (as if her mug wasn't scary enough). "Today you're gonna be swing'n in the dark! You little snot nosed brats ain't gonna see a dam thing! You will, however, be able to hear your fellow classmates scream. Just try not to die, okay?" She laughed, turning off the light and letting open the door for the wild pokemon to charge out angry and confused.

Sven's see off party was... Whoo! The Sweeds... Enough said!"
He laughed a little more, but it all stopped when everything went dark. And then it came: Lyra Heart. How could one ginger be THAT insane!? "Hey, make me a promise? Just do it: if ever I'm dying, or the world comes to a screeching halt as we know it, the apocalypse and all... do me. It may very well be soon!"

 Location: ~ Battle Arena ~ Lacus understood why winning without winning could be confusing. “I understand why it might be confusing.” She said right as Iris came over. “Morning Iris, yeah I’m ready got to drop my pokemon off in the storage room before class starts thought.” She told her. “Morning Kazu.” Lacus said with smile before racing off to place her pokemon in storage for the class. Since Fluff was happily snuggling up to Vern and enjoying a good ear scratch before class started why not use her. So leaving Fluff with him for the time being seemed okay to her. Besides if there was anyone she trusted with her pokemon it was Vern. Coming back she felt a wave of panic when she said they’d be in the dark. How were they supposed to fight in the dark? Fluff still on Vern’s shoulder clung to him like she was afraid of what might happen. Since she sadly couldn’t see Lacus she wasn’t about to jump over to her. It was a lot safer staying up on Vern for now. “You don’t suppose there’s going to be ghosts do you…?” Lacus asked a little worried. If there were ghosts there was only one thing Fluff and her could do which was place backup. Hopefully this would go smoothly but then again that was a long shot away.  Location: ~ Battle Arena ~ Maria hurried into gym class with Lydia completely out of breath by the time she got there. Snivy lucky him was on her shoulders not out of breath at all. “Yeah not by much but we made it…” Maria panted glad that they were at least not late. Following Lydia over to Lél she smiled at him. “Morning Lél.” She said simply before allowing Lydia to ask him what he wanted for a snack break. After he answered Maria scanned the room to see who was there and who wasn’t. Seemed most of her friends were present for the worst class of the whole academic year. Maria’s eyes fell on Hana alone in the corner of the room. Going over without saying a word to anyone she stopped in front of her. “Morning Hana.” She said with a smile. “Why all alone?” she asked before the teacher started yelling at them like always. “Did she just say dark…?” Maria said as the lights went out. Only one thought came to mind. “Does anyone have a pokemon that knows a move that can light up this place?” she shouted out. They needed to be able to see somehow or they were at a clear disadvantage. Iris rolled her eyes amused as Jason laughed off her pat on his back before teasing her about being more fun when she was a little tipsy. She snorted when he 'warning' her that the next pat could be messy if she wasn't careful. "What's the matter? Can't handle it..." she said when he got up off the floor. She really didn't want know what happened at some guy named Sven's part but she could amuse that it was vampires and more booze.
She started a laugh a little more when suddenly the lights went out. While she said some of students shriek in surprise, she was relative calm about it. She could just assume that Athena was the reason for this calmness. What did scare her was seeing Lyra's face under a flashlight to give an eerie presence about herself. Once more they were fighting pokemon but this time in pitch darkness.
As she touched the sides of her hip to grab a pokeball, Jason was instantly asking her a question. She laughed at the words as he asked in the event that he was going to die or the world faces an apocalypse, like this class, she had to promise to do him. She rolled her eyes, especially now since he couldn't see her do it.
"Jason..." she said as she felt pokemon going back her as some of them weren't faring too well in the dark either. "If the world was going to come to end and we had time, I would rock your world til oblivion...But now is that not that time... Lets go Ra!"
Iris let out her flying type pokemon. Afterwards she felt out to reach for Jason's hand. "Do you have a pokemon that can give us a little in here. All I have is Liz but I think we're better off without a Charizard using a flamethrower all over the place. Do ya?"
As she spoke, Ra was holding back some of the pokemon. So far he had a handle a two low level Zubats and was trying his best against a Mawile and its second jaw. Being a steel type was making Crush Claw and his Flying hard. Ra was hit with the Jaw, upsetting as the jaw was chewing on him. All Iris could hear was his squawking.
"Ra..." Iris said looking away from Jason's 'location' "Ra where are you?" She suddenly she saw a light that was dim. When she ran over to it, it was coming from Ra's mouth. A heat wave that attacked the Mawile, knocking out. "Ra..." Iris said as she felt the Rufflet land on her shoulder and nuzzle her. "Good boy...that was great. And you learned that move we practicing...that's great. Now let's get back to Jason...poor boy is lost without me." Iris kept walking until she bumped into Jason, realizing that she was thankfully not far from the male.

Niara “I'm not really a people person...”  Niara and Marco came from his dorm. After dressing in the locker room, they came into the arena, only just in time for Miss Heart to announce what they were doing. But as soon as the tarp came out, she almost cried out in surprise. Dasher, the Pokemon she brought in with her, started smelling wild Pokemon enter as always. A quick ember high into the air cast enough light in the area to show most of the Pokemon, the embers burning out several feet above everyone. Niara had to act fast if she didn't want to be hurt by these wild Pokemon. Dasher, Flame Wheel! Quick!
He quickly sped towards the Lunatone, striking it with his flame-covered body. Niara then ordered Fire Fang to try and hold it back. There was only one as far as she saw. But what was she going to do about-
AH! She felt a sudden pressure on her chest, looking in the faded light of Dasher's Fire Fang to see a Haunter laughing from her chest. With a bit of an annoyed look, she knocked the Haunter on the head right to the floor, seeing as he had to make himself solid enough to not phase right through her. That's it... I hate this class... High like the stars in the sky guiding us all』  ╊━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╉ Kazuma grew a big smile as she agreed to the battle, though warning him that it won't mbe made easy for him. " Good. We're always up for a good challenge." " Dewott!" Araquo jumped with joy as she agreed and in agreement with Kazuma. Kazuma then heard Vern respond with a greeting followed by a question. Kazuma could only smirk. " Of course I am! Probably the only class I ever look forward to nowadays." Finally, Lacus came over to greet them. " Good morning, Lacus. I hope you're as ready for gym as I am." So with greetings all out of the way for now, he turned his attention to the teacher who decided to darken the whole place. Wonderful. But this was one big thing he had an advantage on. Being trained a warrior, even in kendo, he was also taught to fight without using his eyes. Blindfolded kendo sessions with his father and brother were a huge help in training him to use his ears over his eyes. He could hear the slight movement of air when they were close enough. However, with everyone talking, he found it difficult to focus on the sounds of the pokemon. Even worse, more than half of the pokemon were flying or floating. Wonderful. With the footsteps and even cries of a Mawile present when it tried to attack someone in it's fear, Kazuma finally got it. " Araquo, launch and fight. Razor Shell." Kazuma caught the Dewott's call of acknowledgement and reached down to pick him up. Araquo stiffened like he was a mortar shell and let Kazuma throw him towards the Mawile. The moment of dim light from Niara's Aracanine gave the Dewott the time to see when he would hit the Mawile. And with a quick shot of Water Gun to correct his flight path, he came in and struck the unsuspecting Mawile with Razor Shell. " Water Sport!" With the move used in the Mawile's moment of recovery, Araquo used Water Sport, effectively increasing his water type attacks. ╊━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╉  Araquo xxx  Egil xxx  Aidan  Cathair xxx  Spirit xxx  Sigilyph xxx『Battle the will of those who conspire

Either way, even if she was a little rough in her teaching method, it's not a good thing to lose a job. Ah well. As long as she had something lined up, it wouldn't matter. But she started class then, dropping a big tarp onto the arena. Complete darkness. Joy. " You know, I give you an A for creativity, but an F for student safety. Most of these students can't quite use their ears as effectively as others, even if they aren't scared." He wasn't too concerned about his little brother seeing as he knew how to handle combat in low/no light conditions... To an extent. So he spoke to Fliskile. " Keep an eye on everyone. If anyone gets seriously hurt, pull them to the sidelines and let me know." Of course, Taku. With the plan set with the Lucario, he closed his eyes and focused, seeing everyone through aura. The pokemon and the students were clearly visible to him. Now he just had to watch and act when he needed to. Taku looked over to Lyra. " I suppose you're going to want to party again before you have to go?" Seeing as she had already done it a couple of times since the day she tried catching the Abra and landed on him, she had pulled him back to her dorm or to some bar in town to drink and have fun. Lél wasn't worried when the sudden black out came. After all, Tas's flaming body made for a great light! Actually, it reminded him of the black winter nights in the woods; when the wolves hid well, and anything beyond where your arm could stretch out to was unseen. He walked onward, in search of a wall or a corner to reduce the number of directions an attack could come from, and pulled Tas in toe. He wasn't too worried about Vern or Iris; having battled with them. He really didn't give a s*** about Jason's safety, though his brother always seemed more steady and reliable. As long as Niara stayed near Marco (of which he was certain) they would be fine. So why did he walk in this particular direction first? Because he'd seen two gentle hearted girls over there; both tender and mild in their personality. All the while, he made sure that the clumsier classmate (Lydia) was able to keep up if she chose. He felt a duty to protect the gentle and the meek--it was just how he was.
Tas was one giant candle light, and it didn't take too log before he found Maria and Hana. "Dah. Tas ish like light," He motioned to Maria. With that done, he could see sableye skulking in the dark.  Lydia understand a thing that Lel was trying to explain. It must have shown on her face, because she could see him getting frustrated with it. She felt pretty silly, having asked and then just standing there foolishly and with an equally as foolish look. It just wasn't fair... of all the clumsy or awkward things she could have otherwise done.
But before she could come up with something else awkward to say, everything went dark. Well, everywhere else did! Lydia had let out a tiny shriek in surprise, and one more at the scary sight of her "teacher". This brought back unpleasant memories: Her first days at the academy, when a zubat liked nothing better to do that harass and confuse her and totodile-Crash before she caught it. Now it was a grown and reliable crobat! 'I'm glad I stayed next to Lel!' She half smiled before realizing how that might have sounded if she'd actually said it. Then Lel began to walk away. "W-wait!" Lydia said, hurrying after. Blaze hopped down, using its flame burst to quickly light the area and expose where all the pokemon were for a moment. Why was there so many!? She felt a little better when they met up with Maria and Hana. It passed quickly when Lel motioned at the attacking pokemon.
