Something darkened in Nikolai eyes. "No. I recognize this." he muttered in a tone almost as dark as the hallway. Then he heard it. A giggle. A cutesy giggle that was not at all for a setting like this. It was like a horror movie in real life. Dammit, he thought he had more time! Where even were his trackers? They should have informed him about this! Unless she found them.
"She found me." the Sin growled between grit teeth.
As if on cue a blonde girl bounded through the hallway, a look of pure happiness and excitement on her face as she rushed to the lit room. As she passed the doorway, she jumped for Nikolai, her arms stretched out. "Nikolaiiiii~!" she practically squealed as she hugged him as tight as she could. She looked about his age, and although she looked sweet and innocent there was a terrible evil that surrounded her.

The mystery girl giggled to herself and nuzzled Nikolai's chest like a smitten lover until she heard the other voice. She opened her eyes dreamily and gave Kiyaka a curious blink. "Who are you? Who are you?" she asked. Something was off about the smile she was giving. It was empty, like a doll's. And for a second her eyes seemed to flash red. Her body became transparent suddenly. No, it wasn't transparent. She was moving fast.
When she became whole again, she was right in front of Kiyaka. Her smile was psychotic, it was bloodthirsty and filled with rage that could burst out at any minute. "Are you a friend of Nikki-poo's?" she asked sweetly and tilted her head a perfect ninety degrees.
"She's only a colleague, dearie." Nikolai assured. The girl turned around at his voice then looked back at Kiyaka, as if to see if he was lying. After a second, she bounced back to his side and hugged on of his arms. Nikolai grimaced at the action then turned back to the principal. "Kiyaka darling... This is Miranda." he introduced bleakly.
"Oh, that's no way to introduce me!" Miranda huffed cutely, her cheeks puffed. She kept one arm around the Sin's and reached out with her other, smiling brightly at Kiyaka and no longer holding malicious intent. "Hi hi~! I'm Miranda! And I'm Nikki's girlfriend!"
"Don't add facts that aren't true." Nikolai responded monotonously.
"Isn't he so funny~? We're in love and have been for centuries!" Miranda cheered, in obvious denial.

"No. Because she's not my girlfriend." Nikolai said with an exasperated look on his face. By the tired look on his face this wasn't the first time he dealt with her. Or it could've been that he was too used to dealing with psycho exes.
The girl, however, merely smiled at the comment, although it was her empty smile. "Such a funny guy. He loves me, he's just too shy to admit it~!" She opened her red eyes to look at the ground slyly. "Or is it that Leon man that's stopping you?" She twirled away from Nikolai and Kiyaka so that she was standing in front of the doorway. In her hand was a metal rectangle with an antenna sticking out of the top and a button at the center. "I found the perfect solution! I'll press this button and set off these explosions I attached to both your houses, his car, and the entire school~!"
Nikolai quickly turned to face her. "You what?" he hissed, only to get a giggle in response.
"Don't worry, silly! I'll protect you from the explosion!" Miranda chimed.

"Kiyaka!" Nikolai snapped, holding a hand up at her. Around that hand was a mist of paralyzing purple, and the look in the owner's eyes showed that he wouldn't hesitate to use it even against her.
Miranda giggled at the display. This was all the proof she needed to know that Nikolai loved her, he was defending her! "Just one touch of the button and everything explodes~!" she cheered as if she wasn't going to commit mass murder.
Nikolai grit his teeth and turned to face her. "And just what is keeping you from doing that, dearie?" he asked, although he was more than sure he knew the answer.
"You."
Miranda moved closer until she was right in front of the Sin again, batting her pretty little eyelashes at him. "It's been so long, Nikki. We have to go on dates! See the city, laugh and have fun, remember each other's touch..." she drifted off while running her fingers up the man's arm. The childish smile on her face turned into a ruthless smirk as she leaned over to whisper into the man's ear, "Skip one date and I'll kill your family." With a peck on the cheek she was done. She resumed her childish joy and waved goodbye to the two as she walked back into the darkness of the hallway.

Nikolai just stared at the dark hallway, a grim look on his face. "It's not that simple, dearie." he answered solemnly when his arm was grabbed, dropping his gaze to the floor. "Miranda's been in love with me for ages. I told her time and time again that I didn't feel the same, and I suppose at some point the denial warped her mind. She's resorted to every trick I can imagine in order to get me alone with her, from kidnapping to murdering the people around me." He looked at Kiyaka tiredly. "I can't risk Leon, and telling him that someone's out to kill him because of me isn't something he should have to shoulder." Turning to fully face her, Nikolai set his hands on her shoulders. "Don't try to stop her, dearie. She's not human... or anything we've ever encountered before. It's as if Death even fears her - Frankly, I don't blame it. Just... Just try to keep Leon away if I'm... with her." The exhaustion in his face was finally recognizable. It was defeat.

Kiyaka dropped his arm, her hand jumping away as if it didn't want to touch him. This Sin didn't fear anything, he was powerful enough to take down the most corrupted creatures she'd ever met. Of course, the Headmistress herself was not without power, but she wasn't supposed to interfere into the affairs of her staff anymore. She was threatened often with the worst punishment the Council could devise: demotion. But this? She wouldn't touch it. "Find someone else to cover your cowardly tracks," she spat. "Leon deserves to know that he's in danger, but if you won't tell him, then maybe he should find you and that woman. Do whatever you want, just keep me out of it." She gestured to the door, turning on her heel. "Get out of my office."
Hearing someone at the door, her voice collected several others, sounding all at once like a chorus of angry demons as her aura grew dark and the air around her blackened, the stench of o-zone floating around her.
"I said OUT!"
