I Wa n t Y o u S o V e r y B a d ! ! !

              Aelrot looked at her with a bright smile, she didn't seem to have understood what he said, so it must be true then, she reeked of good scents. The maids always had an air and smell to them, something a kin to the smell of flesh and he could only guess a need to them, this girl didn't have that scent to her. When she started walking close he would tense up again, he could breath in the scent of a herbivore, if it wasn't obvious she was one by her ears that were similar to that of the Antelope and Gazelle he used to feed on. Though her's were far larger, they were still the ears of a herbivore. As she would speak and mention strange words he would stare at her blankly, when she continued on to mention he needed to keep people she wanted away he would nod with understanding. He looked down towards her bare stomach and felt a second wave of heat roll through his body, he was staring intently at her stomach than further down. Swallowing a lump in his throat as he would lose track of where she was, when she leaned down and grabbed his ears he would blush and freeze up. He bit his lip harshly as he would resist the temptation to drag her onto the bed, oh that would not look good to the guards and he rather liked having the pretty maids come in and out. Blushing a bright red as she would lean back taking away the feeling of pleasure that originated from his ears being rubbed he would look up to her with a needy face. Bright chocolate eyes seemed to be hazed over slightly, she probably would recognize it as his own hormones and instincts acting up so that was a plus.

              When she offered for him to come with her he would stand up and easily hug her, it was something that actually kept him from well, doing the things he wanted to at the moment. Holding her tight as he started to purr, "I'd like that a lot!" he'd say happily as he would rub his head between her ears in a sign of affection. The look from the guards though made him stop and back off holding up his hands in surrender, a look of joy on his face remained though. Too bad his pants started to feel a lot tighter in an area that just made things worse for him. Looking to the bunny girl once again he would smile, "Aelrot! My name." he'd say the words out of order technically, but he didn't mind it all too much, the meaning was still brought across. Continuing to stand as he looked down on her, his teeth showing in a bright smile, he really was a simplistic guy, well when he had to be to get what he wanted. He wondered what she would be thinking though, taking a lion when she was a herbivore, a veggie eater. Did she not think about him actually trying to kill her?

                                      Pleased when he said he'd like that, she smiled and then blinked when he got to his feet and suddenly hugged her. She giggled a bit, more out of surprise than anything else, and looked up at him as he smiled down at her. He seemed rather pleased with himself and she wasn't sure if he was smug with satisfaction or what. The guard was still watching and she wondered why that was. He had the collar on, and he wasn't listed as dangerous, so it didn't seem as if he was going to try to hurt her. "Aelrot...that's a nice name. Mine's Rosemond," she introduced herself, smiling up at him. She didn't notice how uncomfortable his pants had gotten, but with the proximity of the guard and how closely he was watching the cursed lion, it was clear the man had. The female looked over her shoulder at the guard and nodded in satisfaction. "He'll be coming with me," she said firmly. "Are you sure?" the guard asked doubtfully. The girl only nodded again, sure of it. He just seemed so happy when she asked if he wanted to go home with her and she thought it was because he was happy to get out of the place and it wouldn't matter who it was with.

                                      That was all she needed, anyway. And he certainly could look intimidating enough to scare off anyone her father sent to try to marry her, she reasoned, which was the main purpose of him being there to start with. The guard slowly nodded, not going to argue with a customer, and gestured for her to leave. "All right. I'll bring you back to the elevator and you can pay for him at the lobby," he said calmly. Smiling, the young woman nodded agreeably and sashayed out of the door. The guard kept a close eye on the lion that followed after her a little too obediently, noticing where his eyes were resting. Well, she'd read his profile...so she had to know, right? Shaking his head, he followed the pair out of the room, shutting the door on the way out. Rosemond was plenty satisfied and hummed a bit down the elevator, glancing at him when they reached the lobby and began to head to the desk so she could pay. "Do you need to get anything before we go home? Clothes?" she asked, not sure what a cursed lion would want or need.

              Aelrot felt her body rather easily, judging whether or not he could handle her, she seemed rather weak, so it wouldn't be hard to handle her right? Purring ceased after a few moments as he would rub his head, his ears hidden by his hair completely once again as he would scratch at them. When she said his name he would smile, and give a light nod of acknowledgement, "Rose..mond...." he'd mumble pronouncing it himself. The poor boy was only three in human years, and now he would age at the regular rate that a human would while having an extended lifespan at the same time. Curses tended to be terrible things, his marks would probably appear if he got too violent with someone, after all he was cursed because he was violent as a lion. When she claimed that she was taking him he would immediately feel electrocution and a burning sensation that made him stop and tense up. His form was attempting to shift due to the joy he was feeling a bit too intensely, he would shudder as he grabbed at the collar and panted gently, "Hurt...ow..." he mumbled rubbing at his neck as it turned a slight red, "Don't get too excited now." the guard mumbled with a small smirk. Despite Aelrot's position he was still a good kid in terms of standards.

              When they walked out he would be staring down the entire time, biting his lip again, 'So hard...look good....' he thought brokenly staring intensely like he was concentrating on just how she walked. Rubbing his bare arms as he would walk along, trying to distract himself by offering pain from digging his nails into his arm, though it didn't suffice all too much. The guards eyed him regardless and he put his hands up in surrender to show that he didn't want to harm her or anything of that sort. The elevator was easier, since he was no longer behind her he could relax a bit and smile. He didn't take notice of her glance, too excited to leave and have the collar off his neck, he wouldn't feel pain when he got excited and well, turned. When they walked towards the lobby he would take notice of the stares and tilt his head, he was still lacking a shirt and he really wasn't planning on putting one on. Standing a little ways away as he looked around the lobby, he was still rather curious about everything since he was still ignorant to most things. When Rosemond called to him he would turn and blink looking excited, "Nope! I'm okay!" he stated cheerfully smiling at her brightly while keeping his normal good mood. Though that need in the pit of his stomach still remained, he had enough patience though, he could wait.

                                      O - kay then. He was just so damn cheerful it took her aback a bit, not sure how to respond to the simple, easy answers. Nodding, she smiled back and turned to pay the woman at the desk, who was smiling in amusement. "He's just like a little boy," the woman remarked, laughing softly. Rosemond frowned slightly, not sure that was really the best thing she'd want to have in a bodyguard. After all, she wanted someone that could keep others away, not just...roll over for a belly rub. But his inability to articulate things like an adult would was mistaken for being a child - none of them, save the guard who saw him, really knew what sort of thoughts went on his head as he watched the bunny girl paying for him. Glancing up at the girl's confused expression, the woman in the lobby smiled a bit and shook her head in amusement. "Receipt?" she asked. Rosemond shook her head and took her card back, tucking it into her wallet which disappeared into her purse. She returned the woman's good-bye and hummed a bit as she went back over to Aelrot. Almost going to take off the collar, she remembered she couldn't until they were off hotel property and sighed, instead reaching over to take his hand in hers. "All right, let's go! Home then," she said happily. If he needed anything she'd just get it online and have it shipped.

                                      She led him out of the Hotel confidentially, looking around for the taxi. It was parked down the block and she strode off, pulling him with her. "You can call me whatever you want, you know. It doesn't bother me. I really just want you to keep other men away from me. Other than that, you can do as you like. I'll be taking that collar off of you once we're on our way home," she continued with a smile up at him, swinging his hand a bit. It wasn't quite childlike, but close enough. Rosemond was more than pleased at having found an answer to her problems. And he was adorable, too! She had a soft spot for other beings with ears - it must have just been a thing, since she grew up with no one else around who was really like her. The taxi was waiting and turned on as she approached, not going to make her wait with how much she was paying him to take her here and home again. Sliding in, she patted the seat next to her encouragingly and leaned over to shut the door after him. "Home, please," she said to the man up front.

                                      They pulled away and she waited a few blocks before leaning over and undoing the collar. "There you go. You don't have to wear that again, it looks like it hurt," Rosemond said sympathetically, frowning at the red marks on his neck from it.

    Bastet came to a stop just inside the room, blinking at the man who stood in the middle of the wreckage. Ignoring the curses of the guard behind her when he saw the destroyed room, the cat goddess silently studied the man for a few long minutes before turning her attention to the mess he had made, taking her own sweet time in doing so. If he didn't like waiting for her to say something, well, tough; she was not going to be rushed. Finally, after several long moments of silence, she said with an amused quirk to her lips as her breath came out in puffs of cloud, "You were really bored, weren't you?" She probably would have done the exact same thing if she had been stuck in a room like this; she would have been climbing up the walls in boredom!

    Tentatively, Bastet stepped further into the room while wrapping her red cardigan even more snugly around her frame, carefully placing her high-heeled feet down; it wouldn't do for her to trip and fall flat on her face! That wouldn't do at all! As she got closer to the man, she felt... power coming off of him. A lot of power... A lot more than a mere mortal could ever have. That could only mean one thing; he was a deity of some kind.

    "Damn..." Bastet thought to herself, feeling disappointed despite herself. She had been hoping to acquire a potential worshiper, after all, and she couldn't make another god worship her... could she? Maybe she could! Now, there was an interesting idea! As far as she knew, there were no rules against it... And even if there was such a rule, would she really care about it? Not really. She did whatever she pleased; it was one of the perks of being a cat goddess.

    Coming to a stop just inches away from the other deity, Bastet tapped a finger against her cheek in thought for a few seconds. "Do I know you?" she asked rather bluntly, tilting her head to the side slightly. She was 99% certain she had never seen the man before in her life... Maybe 95%... 86.5%... Heck, she couldn't be expected to remember every face she had met in her long life, could she?! Especially those from a completely different pantheon... That was something she was 100% certain of, at least; even though they both had blue eyes and black hair (though they were slightly different shades), he was definitely not one of her family members. She knew all of her family members, even those she chose to ignore completely... So, unless someone had had an illicit affair with another god (or goddess), then there was no way he was related to her. That still left the question on who he was, though... Which was something she intended to find out, now that her curiosity had been peaked.

The kind of dark that haunts a hundred year old house,
I wrestle with my thoughts I shook the hand of doubt,
Running from my past I'm praying feet don't fail me now! ஆ

~~~~~~~ Blake ~
User Image
Blake stood breathing heavily, watching the women look around the room. He knew he had acted rather rashly but he had been bored and he also hated waiting. Patience was not his strong suit and it showed in certain moments. This particular moment was one of his finer ones. Of course he had several other moments dealing with impatience that those weren't important at the moment. Memories could also be recalled later and hell, he certainly had a lot of them. He watched the women survey the room and naturally was getting antsy and impatient. What was she doing? Was she going to say something to him? Was she going to walk out and leave him alone to be punished? Was she going to buy him? The waiting was driving Blake insane and he was just about to have another fit and scream at the women when she came over to him. The words in his throat caught and for a moment, Blake couldn't speak. He could feel the power coming off of the women and immediately knew that she was a Goddess. From the way she walked, it was clear that she was from an older generation of Gods and Blake looked closely at her. She had caramel skin and black hair, not to mention the same blue eyes as his. She wasn't from the Greeks, but something older and more refined. After a moment, it dawned on Blake. She was Egyptian. He couldn't figure out which Goddess she was, hell he had never studied up on those figures. He had never had a reason to until now.
Blake was startled from his thoughts when the women asked him if she knew him. The women did look familiar, but he couldn't remember if he had seen her before. He had a sense that he had, but his memories were too muddled at the moment to go through. He would take his time thinking about it later and hopefully, he would be able to get this women to buy him so he could actually remember her. Maybe he could even escape from her to freedom at last. Zeus knew that his father wasn't going to help him at all. None of the other Gods were going to help him.
"Depends. Were you ever around dying people?"
Blake got a control on his powers and the room turned back to its normal temperature. He ran his hand through his hair to shake out the ice flakes that had gathered there. His hair fell back into place and he trained his ice blue eyes on the women's. He wasn't one to back down and he certainly wasn't going to let a female Goddess think that he was weak in anyway.
"The name's Blake."
ஆI got these questions always running through my head
So many things that I would like to understand
If we are born to die and we all die to live
Then what's the point of living life if it just contradicts?ஆ
      Dragon Form 70' length, 6 tons Human Form 5'7" height, 142lbs
      ██████████████████████████████████████████████
      xxxxxxxxxxkeiji ADAM sato
      Sober for 16 miserable days and right now I feel irritable
      INDENTDay one was marked by a headache. That the room was sparkling, pearly white did not help. He mostly slept and moped all through day two and into day three when he finally decided to get out of bed. He was well aware of his predicament and knew complaining would do nothing - even if there was an ear around that was willing to listen to those complaints. He knew that they had catalogued his name as such: Sato, Keiji; though it was a long time since he had ever been addressed as such. For the last 70, maybe 80 years he had been parading around under a different name, though it fooled no one but the tax collectors whose only interactions with him had been through mail. He had fallen from the figurative realm of the gods to under the boot of the common man; now, he found himself even lower than that, something that he could not have imagined a thousand years prior. Instead of the best of the fine cuisine brought to him as sacrifice and tribute, he now received a tray of edible substance deemed by someone else to be appropriate for him. Being a deity of sorts, a spirit of the water itself manifested as a dragon as unpredictable as the sea itself, the ones who held him imprisoned in his glamorized cage dictated that a healthy diet for him was mostly seafood with a serving of vegetables. A lean, portioned fillet of sea bass was nothing compared to a thick slab of beef, richly marbled with bands of snowy-white fat and oozing reddish juice with each stab of a fork and knife. After all this time he had spent adapting to a different lifestyle... and now he was being forced back? Alcohol deprivation aside, the abrupt change in food from heavy and rich to light and healthy was enough to make anyone crabby.
      INDENTDay six was when he received his first visitor. It was a human, wishing to purchase him for the purposes of creating hundreds more dragons of the finest pedigree (since he was, after all, from the oldest and purest lineage of his country). The man's dream of farming and cultivating more money-making dragons was quickly crushed when Keiji had to excuse himself to upchuck the meticulously planned seafood he had been served earlier. At the sight of potentially defective merchandise, the human became disinterested. A second interested party visited on day eight. They were widowed with children, seeking a surrogate father. According to what little information the Hotel cared to give this customer, his rattle charm (how juvenile!) meant he had kids. Clearly that meant he had experience, right? She was one of those bad-boy-loving, I-can-fix-him types. It was so bad that even the guard was trying to dissuade her from buying him. Keiji did little to sway her either way, instead opting to answer each of her questions honestly and plainly. Their little meeting did end with a frank confession which finally changed the woman's mind.
      INDENT "I beat my wife every time I come home. She's like one of those Bop Bag toys for kids, you know, you hit it, and then it pops back up. It was like a game to see if I could ever hit her hard enough that she wouldn't stand back up."
      INDENTWeek one came to a close and week two marched on by. Keiji was left alone, though he couldn't say whether that made him feel better or worse. With nothing else to occupy his time with, every slight noise made him uneasy and each time he heard steps down the hall he would look instinctively towards the door. Yet no one entered. To fill the time, he took to soaking in water a lot. Though the collar he wore was cold, welded chain that prevented him from accessing any of his powers, even in his human form he could enjoy water. He would fill up the bathtub with relatively cold water, strip, and submerge himself. It evoked a feeling of tranquillity he hadn't experienced in a long time. Filtered bath water was nothing compared to the brine of the sea, unfortunately, but he made due with what he could. He remained in the tub almost constantly by the time he entered his third week, only emerging to tend to the needs of metabolism.
      INDENTOccasional footsteps in the hall drew his attention, of course, but not enough to ever rouse him from the water. What did finally rouse him was the louder vibrations and noise of his suite door opening. Alarmed, he floundered in the water, gripping the sides of the tub (which was also annoyingly white) to hoist himself out. When food was delivered, the door was not opened in such a way. It was slipped in quietly. This was was a visit, wasn't it? Dripping, Keiji took his time to towel himself dry; it wasn't that he was in a hurry to meet this next visitor but rather that he dreaded finding out what would happen if he "got in the way of business" for the Hotel. He dressed in the only outfit he personally owned (a plain black tee, dark fitted jeans held securely on with a tacky studded belt, biker boots; his accompanying leather jacket and gloves were draped over the back of a chair since he arrived) and stepped into the main room of his suite to take a gander at who wanted him to fill some inappropriate need this time.
I like joy; I want to be joyous. I want to smile and I want to make people laugh.
And that`s all I want. I like being happy. I want to make others happy.
                                The red-haired fae stepped out of the car and smiled widely. "Just wait around the block, I'll call when I'm done," she said cheerfully, bending a bit to speak to the driver. The human man gave a tip of his head and pulled away from the Hotel's entrance. He was married, with three children, living on the fae's estate while he served as her caretaker and general...well, he did really everything and was paid well for it. This new fascination of hers was something he was amused by, just as she had been amused when he had fallen in love and wanted to marry. Neither understood the other very well, but nor did they take offense. It was a game between them and this was nothing but another move for the fae.
                                So he shook his head, sure she would return empty-handed. Either that, or she was going to find the oddest thing there and take it home like a little girl would a bunny.
                                Humming to herself as she sashayed up the walk to the Hotel's entrance, heels clicking on the slick stone beneath them, Cythoe was all smiles as she was greeted by a man at the front desk. Chatting with him a bit as he explained things and gave her a form to fill out, she took it and headed over to a chair to get writing. Her script was elegant and old-fashioned, almost like calligraphy, and it was clear she did it without a second thought. To her it was chicken scratch, just scribbling, but she was in a hurry and eager to go see potential new...well, she wasn't sure what the right word for them were, really.
                                Pets? Friends? Not slaves, though that was the official term, it left a bad taste in her mouth from the days of warring with the Unseelie Court and tithes and awful things. No...not employee, either, there'd be no pay. Pet. She'd settle on pet for now, since she'd care for whomever she got and make sure they were happy.
                                Pleased with resolving her internal debate, the willowy figure rose and returned her paper to the man with another smile. Normally she was cheerful and happy - only the severest of things could wipe the smile from her lips. The man printed out a few forms to give her and she took them with another bit of chattering as she looked them over. One in particular caught her eye and she gave her thanks to him before going to the bellboy and taking the elevator to the correct wing.
                                Once there, she showed the guard the paper. He gave her a doubtful look, as if to ask if she was sure, but she nodded firmly. Of course she was. This would be interesting! And so much fun, she was sure of it. So she happily followed him as he took her down the hall, reluctance in every step. Giving a perfunctory knock before opening the door for the woman, the guard followed her in and shut the door quietly behind him. Cythoe could hear someone in a tub and waited patiently, looking around the room. She was eager to get someone home and have her house not be so dull. She'd reached that point in a fae's life where she was feeling...oh, what was the word. Ennui. And that was the worst thing for an immortal to feel, it led to misery and death. This was a lifeline for her, the only serious reason she had for doing many things lately, though no one knew of it.
                                When he came out, he was met with a smile as she walked over to him fearlessly. Really, there wasn't much that could harm her, with the magic at her disposal. Iron, of course. The holy items thing only worked on her cousins in the Unseelie Court. "Good morning! I think it's morning, is it?" Glancing over her shoulder at the guard and seeing him shake his head, she sighed. "Afternoon, then. But good afternoon just sounds so stuffy, like something a butler would say. Anyway, my name is Cythoe, pleased to meet you, Keji." The smile remained even as she spoke, assessing him with eyes that were much sharper than the silly demeanor she put on. "To be quite frank with you, I'm bored and need some company. Doing things is great, but doing them alone is dull and gets repetitive." She flicked a hand dismissively.
    "Oh..." Flynn blinked slightly, not sure what she meant about the whole "malicious lies" thing, but he knew it had to have something to do with the guard so he glared at the man anyways. He looked down at her again in surprise when he felt her remove the leash, and he turned a little bit red when he realized how close she actually was to him. "Uh, okay..." the red-haired dragon said, giving the guard one last glare before he allowed himself to be led away while allowing the female to lean against him, though his cheeks still remained a little red from the fact that she was holding his hand...
    Once downstairs, Flynn stood beside Camarin as she paid for him, glaring at everyone else who came in or out of the lobby. Most of them ignored him, but he did have a stare-off with another dragon that only ended when she tugged on his arm to go outside. He grumbled slightly to himself as he followed her; he hadn't wanted to end the stare-off. It was a dragon thing...
    Flynn blinked slightly as they stepped outside, and he took a deep breath of fresh air; he had been inside far too long! What he wouldn't give to change at that moment and just... fly away, but the collar prevented him from doing so. The dragon looked down when the young female released his hand and spoke, for some reason feeling the loss of physical contact and not liking it one bit. He was a dragon, after all!
    Attempting to cover up his moment of weakness, Flynn looked away nonchalantly, focusing instead on the taxi that had pulled up. "I suppose we should go to a Realtor's office first," he said reasonably as they got into the taxi, the dragon shifter trying to sound like he had it all together. The moment was ruined, though, when his stomach growled very loudly. Blushing slightly while she giggled at his expense, he added, "Food would be good, too."
    "What do you want to eat?" Camarin asked after giggling a little bit more. "I don't know. I think... I want a whole cow," Flynn replied honestly. Thinking he was just using a figure of speech, she asked, "Oh, so you want to go to a steakhouse for a steak?" The fire dragon gave her a look before saying a little irritably, "No, I said I want a whole cow. A steak is not a whole cow. Jeez..." He didn't understand how she could have misunderstood what he meant; a whole cow was a whole cow, a steak was a steak. If he had wanted a measly steak, he would have said so!
    It took Flynn a few moments to realize that she was staring at him with wide-eyes. "What?" he snapped slightly, still feeling annoyed.
    "Um, I don't have a whole cow..." the young Hai Chiai said a little hesitantly. The red-haired dragon blinked slightly at this before saying, "Oh..." He thought about it a few seconds before saying grudgingly, "I guess a steakhouse will do... But they better have a lot of food!" He was very hungry, after all. It had been almost four hours since he was last fed! That was practically an eternity for him!
    Ah, a Death God... That certainly explained a lot... Like the chill that was in the room when she had first entered. Death Gods always seemed to like to go for the cold. Bastet tolerated the cold, but she definitely preferred heat. At least he wasn't some sort of water deity, or something that turned into a dog... She would have walked out the door if he had been either of those. She couldn't stand water or dogs!
    "I've been around my share of death," the cat goddess answered a little evasively, "Though I wouldn't say that it is my... specialty." She was more about life, after all... Of course, those that she had taken vengeance upon in the past might disagree, but their opinions didn't matter since they were dead.
    Bastet started to sort of... circle him, looking him up and down critically. "You aren't someone who owes me for a favor, are you?" she asked with her head tilted slightly to the side; she had many debts with various other deities (some from other pantheons from her own) that she had yet to collect on, she had... sort of lost count. She was certain that she remembered all of them, though. It was bugging her now that she couldn't remember him, though she was certain he looked familiar.
    The cat goddess did one more circle around him, getting ever closer to him, until she came to a stop in front of him again. "You may call me Erika Massri... for now," she said a little aloofly, not wanting to give him her real name just yet; where was the fun in giving it all away from the beginning? There was none!
    Crossing her arms in front of her chest, Bastet then asked the important question, "Why should I buy you, Blake? What can you offer me that none of the other slaves can?" Of course, she had already decided that she was going to take him... He was certainly more interesting than anyone else she had seen that day. But it wasn't fun to just come right out and say she was going to take him... She had to make him work a little bit for it. Plus, she thought it would be fun to make him squirm just a little bit... maybe even beg. Groveling would be good, too. She wouldn't say no to some groveling. She was a Goddess, after all. Then again... he was a God, so he might not go for it... Oh well, she'd deal with that when she got to it.
I wrestle with my thoughts I shook the hand of doubt,
Running from my past I'm praying feet don't fail me now! ஆ
Blake looked at the woman in front of him. He smirked when she admitted to being around death and Blake knew it was true. He remembered a lot of the deaths that he had witnessed and the people he had escorted. Her face seemed familiar and he knew that he must have witnessed her killing people. In fact, he could sense the death that she had caused and it made him smile. It had been violent and no doubt ruthless. Whatever had caused her to do it, Blake wasn't sure he wanted to know although he could always talk to Anubis and dig up some information. He hadn't talked to Anubis in a long time, but he figured that the God would be of some help to him. Besides, they were long time buddies. Blake had gone over to Egypt to help Anubis out when his father had sent him on side missions. Blake was able to see the process that they went through which was almost similar to the Greeks. During that time, Blake and Anubis had formed a special friendship that even time wouldn't have changed. Blake still remembered their own personal handshake when they first saw each other. Perhaps he would send Anubis a message telling him to drop in so he could figure out exactly who this woman was and what her history with death was.
Blake thought about her question of her owing him a favor. Once he figured out who she was, he would be able to determine the answer to that question. Before he could open his mouth to speak, the woman circled him and then told him her name. He knew it wasn't her real name, but he wasn't going to argue with him. He stored the name of Erika Massari away into his memory so he would at least have something to call her when he spoke to her. When Erika asked him why she should buy him, Blake smirked. He could almost see it in her eyes that she wanted him to beg, to bow down to her. Oh she was a proud Goddess which made everything so much better. He was quite proud himself and there was no way he was going to bow down to this woman. He was a dominate person after all and he wasn't going to be submissive for any reason. Erika was standing close to him so Blake decided to be his bold self. He stepped towards her, making it so there were only inches between them. He could feel the tension between them and Blake almost shivered with delight.
"Because you won't get bored with me. I'm a challenge and you like challenges. I can see it in your eyes. You want to buy me because I'll make every moment worth remembering."
Blake leaned in so his lips were hovering just above hers as he uttered his last sentence, looking her in the eyes. Once he was done speaking, he smirked and took a small step back. He knew he was being cocky, but he didn't care. He was sure that Erika would find it entertaining.
So many things that I would like to understand
If we are born to die and we all die to live
Then what's the point of living life if it just contradicts?ஆ
FIONA SILVEREDEN--FAE OF CASTUS KINGDOM
User Image
She knew she shouldn't be away from the palace, not again, father had told her so many times before. However, Fiona--like usual--had chosen not to listen. You could not keep her from the outside for she would always find a way! Just three days ago she had been caught outside the palace when she was not allowed, and as punishment she had been forbid from living her room. Of course she had waited until the fae guardians outside her bedroom had become lax, and then managed to tiptoe out when they had gone on break. Then they had all but dragged her back and placed her firmly back in that boring 'ol bedroom of her's.
'I am trying to protect you Fiona.' Her father had said, in utter exasperation, as she stood before him. But all she could do was remain quiet and lower her had. She had felt the disappointment emanating from him, and she felt shame at that moment. But the feeling had remained with her for only so long. I just want to live father, Fiona thought with a tinge of regret. Why is that wrong? I tire of being sheltered, I wish to see what is out there. Hence why the human world was so fascinating to her; it was why she constantly escaped there.
At present she wandered their world, trying not to stand out too much. Many individuals looked her way and she hoped she looked as ordinary as them. She wasn't sure her father would be okay with her revealing her race to them. He seemed to want to live in secrecy, with no one, human or other knowing of their existence. She wasn't sure why unless he felt the secrecy would help their community remain unharmed.
It was on the spur of the moment that she decided to go to that hotel. She had heard of it in the past, and it intrigued her. Today she found herself looking for it, and when she finally found it it had never been her intention to go inside. But never the less she had roamed inside. In the lobby there had been a person to greet her and get her information. They had wanted to know exactly what she had been there searching for. Fiona looked at them dumbstruck at first.
"Uh....oh I'm...just looking for..uh.."Gosh dang it she didn't know what the heck she was looking for!
Slowly her face grew red. In the end she gave what she deemed to be a 'retarded' answer. Something special and useful, what kind of answer was that. The men spent some time going over their records looking for a slave that would somehow fit her needs.
      Dragon Form 70' length, 6 tons Human Form 5'7" height, 142lbs
      ██████████████████████████████████████████████
      xxxxxxxxxxkeiji ADAM sato
      Sober for 16 miserable days and right now I feel irritable
      INDENTToday's broad was one with fiery hair. Keiji hated redheads. The more vivid the color, the more he disliked them; whether this distaste for the colour came before or after being wed to a phoenix was unclear. Despite her hair colour, she was undeniably someone attractive as she was a typical shapely western woman (and probably just as temperamental and bitchy as a typical western woman), though the shapeless coat she wore did little to accentuate her waist. Most notably was the sort of the air she held about her - lofty and impish, though with a strong presence that screamed experience. The lack of a human smell supported this ; she was certainly older than she looked. Perhaps half as old as he? (This also gave him a glimmer of hope that perhaps she wasn't as moody and shallow as human women.) All this could be observed as she approached him with a smile that he swore was devious in nature. It had to be, or else the combination of dumb happiness and red hair would've spurned him to sock her in the face. (To him, smiles without due cause were just as annoying as red hair.)
      INDENTThe woman greeted him pleasantly and just as airily as he assessed her to be. Yet the judging way she looked at him - much the way he looked at her - assured him that she was one he needed to watch carefully. "Cythoe," he repeated after she had made her... proposition, of sorts. "Well, to be quite frank, keeping you company seems like it would be the farthest thing from dull and boring. I like a good time and I'd guess that you do, too. Know any good dive bars around here?"
      INDENTKeiji's words were rife with the assertiveness of someone of high position (or maybe just someone with a domineering personality) who usually got their way. He wore no notable expression on his face but the tone of his response implied he had an affinity for sarcasm - anger's ugly cousin - and would probably be quick to have an attitude should she ever call on him to do something he didn't want to. Nonetheless, at the moment it seemed he was willing to go along with her. What rational man would turn down a woman asking for company to relieve boredom? Certainly not Keiji!
                                  xxxxxxx I'm just a small boy in a big world TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE TO LOVE.
                                  Artemis hadn't really wanted to come to this place.
                                  While it was definitely beautiful, it still had that air that something wasn't totally innocent about it. The resort was a very nice place, and seemed to be quite comfortable, but as a curious toddler tugged at his hand, the bronze man felt rather uncomfortable. Was it right to bring his child here? While she wouldn't know why they were here, he still didn't like her being with him. There had been no choice though - a babysitter couldn't be found in time, especially one he could trust. If he was to get back to work to earn some money for the two of them, he needed to get them while he still had time to get to know them. He had enough money to last six months, but with the purchase he was about to make, it would probably only give him four months of money to cover all bills, food and everything in between. Artemis just wanted to get it out the way sooner rather than later so Calliope would be used to having a new person in the house. She wasn't quite of school age yet, and he wasn't too keen to send her off to daycare just in case he couldn't pick her up. Having another person around just in case of emergency was something the man very much liked the sound of.
                                  Reaching the front counter, Artemis found himself in a bind. He needed to fill out a form for the nice lady behind the counter, but he couldn't let Calliope out his sight. Getting an odd look from the young lady behind the counter - it was his blindfold that was to blame here - the bronze-skinned man shook his head the moment she went to remind him he was wearing it, indoors. Getting the hint, she gave the man the papers he was waiting for and pen. Settling on taking the forms to a nearby seating area, he got his daughter to help him answer questions by asking her innocent things that matched with what he was looking for. Did Cally want someone that liked sweets, or knew magic? Did she want a pretty girl, or a fun-loving male? Of course, he knew that a female would be best to help raise his daughter, and he knew he wouldn't be attracted to them which would make things much less awkward in the long run. He was quite partial to almost any male he came upon, mainly since his first love had been when he was quite young, so the dragon was still quite immature when it came to love. It didn't mean he wasn't able to truly love, but it did make things pretty awkward when he tended to swoon over any pretty face or chiseled jawline.
                                  Questionnaire filled out, Artemis returned the papers to the counter with a rather nervous grin. "Don't be worried sir, this place is very safe and family friendly." Giving a wave to Calliope, the little redhead just smiled and waved back with a chuckle. Waiting for matches to be made, Artemis began to worry again. Was buying a living being really the best way to solve his problems? Taking the paper with a polite thank you, he picked up Cally and put her on his hip and followed the busboy to the lifts, getting yet another strange glance because of his blindfold. Did they not realise he could see perfectly through it?. His preferences meant he was going to the more expensive section - Uncommons and Rares. The Uncommons didn't really produce anything he was looking for, and the first few Rares he saw were more beautiful than child-rearing potential. Sighing, feeling just a little tired of all this walking around and not getting anywhere, Artemis considered giving up when he looked up and couldn't spy a mop of fiery red hair.
                                  "Cally?" The dragon's voice called out gently, wondering if she'd just gone around a corner. Not hearing a chuckle or small footsteps, he raised his voice. "Calliope?" With this call the guard looked up and gave the dragon a quizzical look. "Where's my daughter?" Asking in a slightly demanding way, the guard looked a little stunned and just shrugged. Smoke billowing out the bronzed man's nose, he turned on his heel and began to hurry down each hall in turn, saying his daughter's name over and over. There was no door open, nor was there any crying or other high-pitch child sounds coming from any room so that was a slight bonus. Beginning to panic now, the dragon was looking more frazzled than neat and tidy, his fingers running through his hair every moment or so, his blindfold slipping down slowly. How could he have spaced out so much to completely not see his daughter getting away from him? Was all this just a horrible idea that was doomed to failure?
                                  While Artemis was fretting, Calliope was exploring. Happily tottering around the corridors with the typical toddler waddle, she kept looking at each door in turn, a small frown on her cute, pudgy face. Surprisingly not far away from her dad, the little toddler - with much effort and a lot of jumping - managed to open a door. Whether the door hadn't been re-locked or it was sheer luck on the toddlers half, the handle clicked when pulled and the door creaked open an inch. Little fingers curled around the panel and two big red eyes looked into the room. Pushing the door open wider, the little child walked in and immediately grinned. Did she care who was inside? Nope. Not once she saw the long pink hair and heard a nice voice greeting her. Immediately, the first thing out the toddlers mouth was "Pwincess!" Which, of course, was just strange enough to catch the attention of her worried father. Without hesitation, the dragon turned on his heel and made a beeline for the end of the hallway, finding a single door open. Guard not far behind, the bronze man pushed open the door and saw his daughter gleefully pointing, happy as anything. "Pwincess!" Hushing her gently, he moved his head to look up, apologising on the way. "I am so, so sorry, my daughter is totally harm..less..." Trailing off the moment his eyes laid upon the occupant of the room, the pink-haired beauty was not what he had been expecting and it had thrown him way off track.
                                  How did his daughter manage to find such a beautiful male without even meaning to?
                                Oh, such attitude that would come with this one. Smirking a bit, Cythoe tossed her head a bit and circled around him again, ignoring any distaste on his face. She wasn't about to let him do as he pleased, not with the collar he wore and the way he spoke to her. But he was correct. Keeping her company would be anything but dull and boring. Although she was unclear who would be amused in the end. Something told the fae that this dragon would not be the happiest creature in the world for a while, but perhaps that would be good. Someone had told her once suffering built character. Wasn't that Calvin's father, in the comic strip? Surprising wisdom from a character in a comic strip. She had all the books that had been published, all stacked neatly near - now she was getting distracted.
                                Returning her attention to him, and not pretending that she wasn't paying any to him for a few moments, the fae raised an eyebrow. "Dive bars," she repeated dubiously. "I hope you don't seriously expect me to go running around to find one just for you. Otherwise you're more adorable than I thought before!" Finishing on a cheerful note, Cythoe smiled at him and moved to stand in front of him. "Besides, I don't live around here, so I'm unfamiliar with this area." It was easy for her to tell he liked to be in charge, she knew the type and had skimmed his file anyway. Even if she hadn't, Cythoe had enough experience with males of all creatures to understand what sort he was. Well, let him attempt to punish her or hit her. That would be quite funny. For now, she decided to do as she pleased and he intrigued her. So she reached up, bopping him on the nose with a finger as she stared up at him.
                                "I suppose you'll do for now, Keiji Sato," she murmured. Though the Hotel collar suppressed his own powers, and dampened hers, there was still a momentary tingle in the air. A fae's power over someone rested in knowing their name. And the way she pronounced his suggested she knew his true name, the one to his soul that even he might yet be unaware of. Tossing her head, the odd feeling left and she was smiling again cheerfully. "I won't be taking that collar off of you anytime soon, though. Can't have you deciding to just take off and leave! Then I'll get bored again." Waving a finger in front of his face, the fae turned and sashayed back to the door, her hips swinging side to side as she did so. She had the natural grace of a catwalk model, only easier on the eyes.
                                Opening the door, she smiled up at the guard. "I'll be taking this one," she told him with a smile, pleased with her choice. The man looked at her dubiously, murmuring a question, and she nodded. "Yes, I'm sure. And I can pay for him on my way out, correct?" she checked. With that all settled, she turned to Keiji. "Come along!" Cythoe trilled out happily.
