Adrian glanced down at his healed ankle, doubting that Lillian would notice that the wound had healed with surprising speed. He took a deep breath as he quickly and quietly made his way back to the guest bedroom without bothering to take the bathrobe or a towel, knowing that nobody would really notice him if he didn't want them to, though he wasn't sure how he did it. He noticed Lillian's mother glancing his way, though by the time her gaze had locked onto where he'd been he was already gone. He quickly got dressed in the clothes he'd gotten and glanced out of the window, seeing the incoming clouds and sensing that there was a thunderstorm coming, this time a fully natural one.

As Lillian walked Roxy to the dog park she looked to the sky and saw that it was going to more than likely storm again later, though this time it didn't seem to be coming out of nowhere as it had before. "Come on Rox. We'll not get there to the park and back home before it starts raining if we don't get moving now." she said to her dog in an excited manner, thus causing the dog to start pulling at the leash to get to the park.
She stayed at the park for about fifteen or so minutes once she got there because she did not feel like walking home if it were to start raining. Roxy did not like having to leave so soon after arriving because she wanted to play with the other dogs there, though she walked on with her owner without protesting, much. They got home in a few minutes beceause the park was not that far from her house and she went straight to her room after getting home. 'I wonder if Adrian is hungry...' she thought, sending Roxy to the guest bedroom to see if he was there and to bring him back if he was. Roxy was hesitant to go, but she did and then started whining once she was at the door of the guest bedroom, knowing that she was not allowed to go in the room.{{ooc:}}

Adrian tilted his head as he heard the low whining at the door and opened it. "Most people would see a beautiful dog, but I see a loyal friend that is willing to protect her mistress," he said softly as he knelt next to Roxy, rubbing her ears. "I assume Lillian sent you, right?" he murmured.

Roxy sat at the door, patiently looking up, as she noticed it was opening. She would not bark because she was afraid she'd end up getting scolded for barking. The husky wagged her tail as Adrian knelt next to her, rubbing her ears. She heard Adrian speaking and she gave a small bark and then nudged him before getting up and looking in the direction in which Lillian's room was located.
Lillian wasn't sure if Roxy would be able to get Adrian to come, yet she knew that her dog was really intelligent and she'd manage to find some way to get Adrian to come without making too much of a ruckus or going into the room. So, she just sat on her bed, pulling her laptop off the dresser beside the bed and pulled up the pictures of her dog Roxy and the one of the male husky that her father wanted to have Roxy bred with. Lillian did not like the idea of her dog having puppies, though she knew that was what Roxy had been initially gotten for in the first place and was not just a normal household pet. 'Why didn't daddy just get her for being a pet...? Of course he'd only buy a dog just so that he could try making money out of selling the puppies...' she thought to herself, frowning.{{ooc:}}

Adrian nodded as he rose, not surprised at all before he followed her quietly towards Lillian's room. He paused momentarily, sensing something at the edge of his senses which he recognized as one of the undead, but when the sensation faded, he continued on as if nothing had happened. He knew that they were very vicious and were capable of projecting an illusion that they were good looking and human, though they were in no way human and far less 'good looking' in their true forms.

Roxy led Adrian to Lillian's room and looked back over her shoulder as she heard Adrian's footsteps falter. But then returned to walking to her human's room. Once there she padded right into the room and jumped right onto Lillian's bed, just missing the laptop.
Lillian saw Roxy coming into the room and jump right onto the bed. Thankfully the laptop was not in the way or it may have gotten broken by Roxy. "Rox... you know you're not suppose to jump on my bed when I have my laptop." she said to her dog in a playful manner while rubbing between her ears. She then asked Roxy if she wanted to see the picture of the husky that she was supposed to be having puppies with. She received a low bark and somewhat of a growl from her dog and she laughed saying, "I take that as a no, girl? I wouldn't imagine that you'd like him when he'd not leave you alone and wouldn't treat you like a lady." Lillian said before hugging Roxy. "You'll not be having puppies... Not if I have any say in it." she told her dog before pressing her face in her dog's soft fur.{{ooc:}}

Adrian tilted his head as he leaned against the wall a few steps inside the doorway. "I know from experience that animals may seem stupid and clueless to some even though they are far more intelligent than they appear," he said with a faint smile.

Hearing Adrian, Lillian jumped with surprise and apologized for focusing on her dog so much. however she then said, "I wholeheartedly agree with you about animals being intelligent. My dad thinks that Roxy's just some dumb animal and a way to make money... That's the main reason he even bought her... I don't want her to have puppies if they're just going to be sold off like pieces of meat..." She hugged her dog and thought that it would be nice for Roxy to have puppies, but not under the circumstances that her father had set down. She then looked at Adrian before asking him if he was hungry; which was the main reason that she had sent Roxy to get him in the first place.{{ooc:}}

Adrian tilted his head. "Trust me, remembering that may save lives one day, you never know. I've run into things sometimes... and I don't mean things like large crocodiles or something like that... things that people wouldn't believe exist," he said quietly. He hoped Lillian wouldn't encounter them, but had a feeling that the choice wasn't his to make, but someone else's. Hopefully it won't cost anyone their lives, he thought.

Lillian listened to Adrian and she wondered just what sort of 'things' he'd seen that most people wouldn't believe were real. "What sort of things have you seen that people wouldn't believe...?" she asked out of pure curiosity. She did not really believe that there was anything to worry about, though she was not going to call Adrian a liar and say that there was no way that he had seen whatever it was he'd claimed to have seen.{{ooc:}}

Adrian took a deep breath as he shifted his left sleeve to reveal what seemed to be a bite scar from a wild animal, almost like a puma, but too large to be a feline and not enough teeth marks to be a crocodile or something similar. "Let's just say there are things that once you see them... you don't forget them," he said quietly. It had been the first time he'd encountered the undead, and it had nearly bitten half of the top of his forearm off in one movement with its serrated fangs which were disturbingly similar to a shark's teeth. "Their blood is like acid to metal, I found out... impaled it with part of antenna from a car that had washed up, and after several minutes it dropped away still sizzling," he murmured. He didn't know what sort of effects it had on living creatures and had no intention of wishing to do so.

Lillian tilted her head as she watched Adrian rolling up his sleeve, revealing a nasty looking scar that looked like some sort of animal bite. She cringed at the thought of how badly that had to have hurt when it happened and she wasn't sure she wanted to ask to find out, so she just looked up at Adrian's face before asking, "I'm guessing that these things you said you saw could be like things one would see in a horror film...? You say you've truly seen such things? And... that they're blood can dissolve metal...?" Her voice was shaking some, though she was able to control herself enough not to panic, due to her not wanting to believe that what Adrian was saying was true. She took a deep breath and then said, "If these things are real... how would we know where they are or can you just tell when they're there? What I'm trying to say is, can you see them easily...? Or can they blend in...?"{{ooc:}}

Adrian shifted nervously. "Honestly, I'm not that sure of that much about them; I've noticed that when they tend to go near plants, the plants die for some reason and dogs like Roxy hate them... they seem to be able to blend in though how I have no idea, but I can somehow sense them when they're within a certain distance," he said with a shrug. "The one I ran into... or more precisely he ran into me... was apparently fleeing someone it referred to as a 'hunter', though whether it was other people or what I don't know... it saw me and seemed startled... it was seriously ugly, almost as if it were rotting while still alive," he said quietly, shivering slightly. "My memories of the encounter... I'm not sure.. but they seem fogged, as if someone tried to erase the memories of it but unknowingly failed," he said quietly; this fact he had never revealed to a living soul.

Lillian sat quitely on her bed as she listened to Adrian speaking. She felt a bit uneasy as she heard that the creatures Adrian spoke of had a way of blending in, though the fact that she heard him saying that he could somehow sense them put her at ease, barely. She hugged Roxy tightly as she heard the rest of what was said by Adrian and she tried hard not to believe that such things could exist, all while trying to not think that all of what was said were lies. Although she could tell that there was a sincerity in Adrian's tone and she'd not just distrust him. "That sounds... unbelievable, though I do believe you and I promise that I'll not tell anyone what you've told me, unless you give me permission to tell." she said, in the most sincere tone that she had ever used in her life, because she could only imagine what might happen if she told someone about what Adrian had told her.{{ooc:}}

Adrian snorted a soft laugh. "Trust me, I saw it and still can't believe it myself," he said with a small smile. "That reminds me... I made something some time ago, but never did anything with it... maybe you'd like it," he said quietly as he pulled out a leather string with a thong tied to it that held what appeared to be a half inch wide silvery arrowhead that hung from a dime sized opal. "When I get bored, I usually fish... or make different things... usually tools," he said softly, shyly.
