Deryk had the same line of thought that Jake did. What kind of library had a flamethrower!? REALLY! Though, in the very least, the exit was opened up for them.
"..Right.. right.. mission reports.." he groaned as he made his hasty retreat.

Tori was a little torn on needing to leave right now before any more guards show up and her want for reading or taking any other books in this library. Well in the end heading back to the island won out and for the fact that Aklin mostly threatened his hunter for that decision, since he was getting a little sick of all Tori’s squeeing over all the books. So Tori quickly followed the others towards the exit and through the portal.
A little sad but still excited that they had gotten the Codex, Tori kept on wondering on what type of things would be inside and what could be learned from it too. Nodding as that was one thing that she never wanted to do alone is an in counter with Caelius and made a mental note to write her mission report soon and her weapon was totally going to make sure that she did and be annoying when doing so.
“Thank you, Gale!” Tori said over the headphones before she turned off her own set as she followed Ami excitedly discussing the details of analysis. Oh Tori would at least make sure Ami got out to eat unless Tori herself got too wrapped up in her own excitement and forget to leave the library as well.
