He stared ahead as the creature seemed to lurch out of the ground slowly and stare at the group. Really? Another one. He let out a pathetic groan as he slowly got up, watching as the dragon ghoul once more took blows for someone even if it wasn't fully. Kind thing. She really did need some help.
He attempted the summon up another frosty bit of cloud dust and managed to do so briefly before flinching as the boss literally seemed to meander by and hit him. This thing was destroying everything, what a problem.
He grumbled as he steadied himself glancing around at their now rather weary looking group. They... might be able to keep this up?

And just as the fox seemed to stand at ready again he watched as the brilliant light cascaded forth once more. The boss seemed to real as several bright flashes came by as quickly as if Shun's blades were hitting it repeatedly. Small, quick, painful little hits.
The demon could help but grin a bit at that. "Hah... the power of amity compels you." Apparently whatever weird magic had take his ability to hurt things had a sense of humor. Letting him repeatedly nuke these suckers for hitting him so much.
Oooho, so she had angered the reaper? This did nothing to stop Pokes enthusiasm, considering Shun was pretty easy to annoy (and it didn't phase her in the slightest)
I hope that you're knives will be connected to that giant monster of a bore Because right now I'm distracted with taking defending duties on board
After this latest rendition, she turned to the boss with her jaws opened wide, but had to pause as a powerful shock wave was sent her way, unsteadying the dragon and making her sway dangerously. Her head hang for a moment as she gathered her reaming strength to power up her fear attack and let it lose at the enemy, before she felt a cool frost on her scales.
"Thanks for the heal..." she turned gratefully to Molan, before looking herself over to see how much damage had been done.

Once more, the ice demon seemed to be able to trigger that brilliant blast that seemed to do a number onto the big creature. Begrudgingly, he was going to have to put up with this singing for now. It was just making him wanting to stab things more. Thankfully, he could vent that out onto this big shadow they were facing.
Pinpointing several areas on the shadowling, Shun formed 6 blades of shadows between his fingers before launching them all at his target shortly after Poke managed to send out a blast of her own.
"The future is littered with bloodshed, And although the shades are the main addressee. The point that I must emphasize is... You'll be next if this singing doesn't kill me."

All the little ones starting to dissipate should have made him happy. It really should have. Their professor was happy... even if he didn't really know her. It didn't matter, he should have been pleased that they were doing so well. But something hadn't felt right about it. And when the ground shook and the much larger, lumbering shape found its way into his best attempt at vision, he understood just why he wasn't feeling good. It wasn't over. Nothing was ever over at this school, a fact he was quite certain of and had quickly come to despise.
Wanting to do more than just his little channeling, he picked out another damaged student, a dragon, actually, and tried to use his FEAR. His vision wavered, the glow in his eyes dimmed as he tried to concentrate and- And the ground shook again and he was thrown off his feet, his heal fizzling into nothing as his vision returned. Jack damn it!

He was still on the ground when he felt the power gathering again. The song that was still pounding through his mind, getting stronger the longer they fought, it bolstered him, kept him going. And when he felt the warmth again as whatever that special attack was hit the giant shadowling, he couldn't help but grin.

The ground, quaking, was far less than a reassuring sight. Amarus was now really feeling the sting of having sustained so many attacks, and honestly, she kind of missed Molan's frosty healing at this point.
Well, here went nothing; she could feel herself edging closer and closer to absolute exhaustion, so... Amarus did all she could think of:
Her Desperate Chance.
And she transformed into a Magical Girl.
Somewhat belatedly, she started to sing, at first under her breath and then louder, and it was pretty bad because she didn't really sing for others to ever hear her, ever.

She refused to make eye contact with anyone, now. She was severely wounded. And in a frilly dress.
On the other hand, that was a lot of asskicking, and if she wasn't so badly wounded and so thoroughly displeased by her prettiness right now she would have been grinning like a madman.

It was a lot harder to use yourself as a meat shield when the shield itself was crackled and warn, so Poke switched to attacking mode to finish off her prey. But even with her size, she was unable to muster enough strength to get close to the giant mass of black with yellow eyes, and was pushed along the ground and away from her target.
But at least she still had enough energy to sing

Out of the corner of her eye she could see a student was trying to do something, maybe even heal her, but it appeared the technique had failed. She nodded at the student in a way of thanks, to show she appreciated the sentiment. Secretly though she hoped the next time he tired he would be more successful, as she couldn't go on for much longer.

Rosc blinked behind his shades when he stood up. One of the other ghouls... was suddenly looked exhausted and suddenly wearing a rather appalling outfit. Really, it made him visibly cringe a bit to see it. But that didn't change the fact that she, like a number of the others, was hurt and he could do something to help. He reached out with his healing and gave her what little boost he could before turning back to the foe, feeling that increasingly familiar rush brought on by combining the power of three, or so he was guessing.

The lightburst didn't feel as strong as it had in the past, but it was still something. They were whittling the creature down, bit by bit. He just hoped they took care of it before it took care of them.
Shun paused for a moment as he saw something strange happen with Amarus. What just... Why was she...?
He shook his head, quickly realizing that apart from singing as well, she was looking very poor at the moment. Gritting his teeth, he quickly looked around.
"Amarus needs aid, undisputed Else she'll be executed, And be unseen as she dissipates. Your heals and defenses should be bared. Be prepared."
He was seriously hating himself right about now. At least Poke had one thing right. There will be plenty of smashing and battling to go around in this situation. Shaking his head, he grumbled a number of curses under his breath before shadowstepping.
First he reappeared behind the creature, stabbing into it, just before vanishing and coming into view again a split second later to its side. A moment later, he flanked the shadow, then popped up above it. He continued to rapidly shadowstep around the shadowling, striking it each time he came back into existence.
A short time later, he landed closer to the rest of the group, breathing heavily from exertion. He was tired now. But, hopefully he had done some good there.

Ok, that thing seemed... kind of dead? Maybe? He really wanted it to die. Just really. He was tired, beaten up, and bleeding in more than a few spots.
He huffed angrily as he glared at the thing, watching the rest of them trying to take it out. Well. Well maybe he could try this too. He quickly lifted an arm and tried to concentrate on making the ice more than a mist, stronger, sharper... something that could actually hurt that... that thing. Like normal, how things always where. He squinted a bit when the ice suddenly fractured and broke around him creating a dozen small cuts as the thing flung him back.
Ouch. Ow. Ok. No. Bad idea. His ice did NOT want to work. Not at all. That was stupid, and... ow. He glanced at the group sadly at that point, slumped over a bit as he sort of sat dejected. He'd just... stick to putting people back together. Ow. "When the world tells you no."

Despite not knowing anymore words to songs, Olivia had a hum in her throat in a vain attempt to continue the sing song that the door had provided them. Olivia left the side of the foxy boil, throwing herself at the large shadow creature with her hands out and front.
She had never gotten a chance to channel all her FEAR before and this seemed like an awesome chance to try it. The wight felt it go through her as she latched onto a limb of the shadow even for the briefest of moments, pulling out the life force of it and letting it dissipate into nothingness.
Obviously new at it, not a lot was taken and Olivia gained herself a nice big thwack from the creature for her efforts. That wasn't nice at all.
