He slowly lowered the strange curving weapon, staring at it in disbelief as he grasped it more firmly. Where in the hell had this come from?
After another moment's contemplation, West shrugged. He didn't really give a crap where it had come from, as long as he could hit things with it now.

Lizzy had fallen asleep at her desk, pencil in one hand, pieces of paper under another with her head resting on her arm; she had never done that before. Usually, if she felt tired enough, she would stop what she was doing, and go to bed... Other times, she would be so absorbed in her project that she wouldn't feel tired until she was done.
Then again, she couldn't help but feel like that wasn't the only thing that felt off.
Her eyes fluttered open, and she yawned, stretching her arms up in the air. Lifting her head, she realized that there was something... Small and black staring at her. It was actually rather adorable, with its yellow eyes and tiny arms. Minipets entered her room all the time, because of the pet flap that she installed for her own minipets, so she wasn't too bothered by the appearance of the strange creature... Until she looked around her room, contemplating washing up and getting a quick nap, and spotted the exact same creature devouring one of her dress forms.
"Oh no you don't!" She immediately stood up, instantly awake, and tried her best to shove the creature away.

Junko groaned and sat up in bed, rubbing her head and looking around to make sure she was waking up in her own room and not some weird place she was unfamiliar with. It was a legitimate concern, okay? Weird things happened at Amityville.
She stopped and stared back at a pair of yellow eyes looking up at her. What.. "Oh hello." Junko blinked. "Where'd you--" She heard rustling and...chomping? Junko tore her gaze away from the little creature to find one of them eating her school books. She gasped, practically flying out of bed to get her books away from the creature. Another started to eat her table. Oh no! No, she needed that table!
"Nonononono..!" She rushed over to push the creature off. But then another appeared from the floor. No! Nononononono! Her room! Her things! Her commissions! Her minipets! She had to protect them.
Junko punted one into a wall.

Okay. This had gone on long enough. West raised the gigantic key and let out a series of shouts as he swung it around wildly.
He stopped.
The remaining shadowlings looked at him.
Master looked at him.
They all had the same accusatory glint in their eyes, but none of them were hurt at all.

Something woke Hadiyya from her sleep, and it took her a minute to figure out what. It hadn't been the minis still dozing among her blankets, they were all accounted for, but something was certainly moving around in the dark. Whatever it was, it wasn't much larger then the small pets curled beside her, and it was.. chewing? Glowing eyes blinked open, and she leaned over the edge of her bed to give the darkened room a proper look. What she saw made her gasp, and with a start she jerked back, almost falling from the bed completely. "What in Jack's name?" Something dark, and oddly shapeless was near her desk, consuming the contents of her waste bin, and she didn't think it was a mini pet. It didn't feel right.. Slipping from the covers, the ghoul grabbed the nearest heavy object she could reach, and hurled it at the creature. It missed, but Yaya had succeeded in catching the beast's attention. It rounded on the djinn, lunging for her, and she ducked beneath it and made for the door. [Exit] OOC  Path of the Observant

It seemed the creatures didn't take too kindly to being kicked. One of them latched onto her leg, its claws scratching her skin. Junko winced and shook it off.

One of the shadowlings went after Sayuri and Junko gasped, running over and throwing the shadowling away from her minipet pen. The shadowling bounced harmlessly off the wall, laying on the floor and staring at the ghoul with accusing eyes.
