*Veria giggled* "He's humen silly. But not entirely. He's not a halfling either..." She hinted then made a face, "go away. I dosn't matter now. Nor does it to you. Go do whatever annoying people do when they are no fun and sqribble on stupid paper.* She went into her room, makeing sure eve didn't attack her and smerked. She changed him, and still is changing him. It wouldn't matter what he was... but rather if its containable. So far his problem isn't her doing, but in time she would be sure. For his own good not hers. After all she did love him.*

After some pain of fiddling with those stubs, Kiera eventually sighed. Her back was bleeding now, but only because her curiosity went a little too far. However she did obtain one thing. A single orange feather which was hidden, folded inside one of the stubs. She turned it around in her palm a couple of times, before throwing it aside. She didn't like where it was going. She buried her head in her pillows, almost staining the bed red with the blood from her back.

*Shortstraw opene dhis eyes and noticed the house was starting to quiet down agian. Infact he had no idea where Keria was. BUt hey... she needed her space. So he laid there thinking of ways to do better in battle and show her he could defently be man enough for her. Course... he had no ideas at all.*

Kiera grunted in pain as there was a crack in her back. And the stubs grew a couple of centimeters more. Now there was no hiding it. They clearly stuck out weirdly under her clothing. Her discarded clothes laid there beside her bed, and Kiera sat up again, inspecting the damage. The stubs were on the brink of unfolding, and some of the feathers could plainly be seen now. She didn't know how to deal with this. So instead she hurried over to her door and locked it. She couldn't even put her back against the door without it hurting. So instead her forehead collapsed on it. Hikari however had finished the soup, and went to the door of the kitchen. "DINNERS READY." She shouted. Kiera wasn't coming down.

*Shortstraw hopped up and walked intot he kitchen. He sat down however knew that kera wasn't hungry and expected her to be out doing whatever kerais did when not hungry.* "Well i guess it's going to be a quiet night." Shorstraw chukkled as eve was the only other one to come to the table. Then again whatever was left over, would always dissapear if she left it there over night. "So mS Hikari, i wanted to ask you. I never saw you turn into that huge wolf thing. It was really scary... you were on fire, and you where huge!" He said excidely wondering what she would tell him. After all he leanred all he could.*

Hikari dished out two bowls of soup for them both, then one for herself, then sat down. "Well, yeah. That wasn't really a question, but. The first time Amelie died, me and Yuji changed. I changed into that giant wolf thing. I can never remember what happened after i've been in that form. I have this marking on my back that really hurts when i'm either in a really emotional state or.. just plain angry. Then i change. It's as simple as that. It's a hellhound thing. Me and Yuji are bound together that way." She continued to sip her soup.
Kiera returned back to her bed, and sat on it lazily. She was in a daze, almost. Then more pain came as the stubs began to unfold. It took everything she could not to scream. Now there were two perfectly clean wings, open and shaking off the blood from them. Kiera looked at them. What the hell. She'd even tossed Yuji's old coat aside to make room for the wings. They were small, for the moment. And they opened and closed to her heartbeat.

*Shortstraw nodded* "Your a real life hell hound." His eye looked like they were about to pop out of his head, "wait if you are bound together then does that mean you can like... feel him. I don't know how to say that... like you can spiritly see him, or here him. Becuse if so that is like so cool... and that would mean you could talk to him in that form." He nodded, "this house is so cool." He begian in his soup, "Maybe one day i can be as good as Mr Yuji was in coolness. I mean not really possable i know, but i wanna be great. And be looked up to instead of down at. Everyone looked up to Mr Yuji it seems, i mean this familiy alone had fall apart becuse they can't look up to him no..." Eve hushed him, "nough of talking about dad got it. We're over that, lets let it be."

Hikari looked to Eve. She obviously still had that itch. Hikari just continued to sip her soup and shut up about the subject. Well, Yuji anyway. "No. I haven't seen any spirits yet. Although i haven't really been in that form many times at all." Hikari quickly finished her soup and went back for more. "Wheres Kiera?"
Now Kiera sat there, just in her small tank top which was the only thing that could have allowed the wings to be free, staring at them. What was she going to do now? She couldn't very well just walk out and strut around with these new accessories on her back. Instead she just stayed on her bed, breathing slowly.

*Shortstraw shrugged* "I don't know. I figured she was having some time to herself. She likes to do that from time to time. Besides, she told me earlyer she wasn't hungry." He smiled, "Ms Hikari... if it's not too, well youknow... a bad tiem tot ask. But how did you and Yuji meet, how did you end up his wolf? I Mean... it's really cool, one time i was in town and i saw this picture someone had on there wall. I dated durring some war, and it showed Yuji riding you ontop of this hill with like all these people behind him. A real picture someone took. And i saw another of you and yuji riding by some shop that is closed now."

Hikari's hand gripped the tablecloth loosely, but she just continued to sip her soup. "Me and Amelie worked for Shinigami, the death gods. We were raised by them. And, we were sent on an assassination mission by them to kill Yuji. We disguised ourselves as some other people we killed, Mistle and Ammy, and entered ourselves into one of his academies. He was nowhere close to being king then. And well, i got close to him. Amelie hated his guts. I became his wolf even before me and Amelie changed back. When we did change back, we couldn't kill him. So we did some things, yadda yadda. Amelie tricked Yuji into having Kiera. The two got closer. They got married. And here i still am. In the same position as i was all those years ago when i was his wolf in the form of Ammy." Hikari's grip on the tablecloth tightened before she stood up, and put her bowl on the side. "I'm going to find Kiera. See if she wants anything." Hikari's voice was a little shaken.

*Shortstraw quickly apologized* "I'm sorry i should have dropped it... " He replied sadly looking to the bowl. Meanwhile inteh background Train was just walking in. He looked tothe soup and shurgged getting a bowl for himself leaning on the counter. "So you get beat up yet kiddo?" Train asked. SHorstraw shied, "really." Eve of couse was laughing, "i heard he did well."

Hikari left the room quickly. She hadn't thought of those times in a while. She shouldn't have. They conjured up things she didn't want. Didn't really put up a good image for her friendly look. She looked in the living room. No Kiera. She went upstairs and looked int he bathroom. No Kiera. An attempt to look in Kiera's room failed, because it was locked. Although Hikari was sure Kiera was in there. She knocked lightly on the door. "Kiera?" Kiera grunted, wrapping her arms around herself. "Go away!" Hikari frowned. "What's wrong?" "Nothing, now just go away!" Hikari sighed, and did as she said. She walked back downstairs and walked into the kitchen, and began to wash up the dishes.

*Eve was gone, train was leaving and shorstraw was the las tone sitting there in silence. He felt bad now. He should have lisned to Ms Eve. He was just curious and it got the best of him. Sometimes he sorta wishes he could at least be a good leader like yuji, or eve was. Yuji had his own people that helped him. People that looked up to hisma nd trusted him. He had a persnal wolf that would surly do anything for him. Meanwhile he looked at what he had. A girl he liked, the same girl was a really hard core type sorta, and a demon cat that would most likley distroy his life if he let his guard down. That wasn't great odds, okay odds, but not good. He needed to be looke dup to more. He needed to fight and protect people and prove he could be looked up too wether he was jsut a kid or not. He slowly got up and headed out but stopped and looked to Hikari, "i'm going to go out into the town for a while. Look around and stuff... if you need me..." he offered.

Hikari looked to him and smiled before he left. "Alright, have fun. And don't stay out too late." She assured him. Although she was actually worrying about Kiera too. She wouldn't be this way if it wasn't for something dire. Hikari's hand slipped with her shaking, and a bowl fell and smashed on the floor. "s**t." She crouched down to pick up the shattered pieces.

*Shorstraw heard the crash before he was fully out the door and came back int he kitchen, "you okay..." he didn't notice her shaking and smiling she was fine. And so he walked out into the street. It was dusk, bt not yet dark. Shops were strating to close up, people were just aobut in there houses. He shied, "how can a kid like me..." He stopped an noticed somthing weird. He stepped back on step and the entire area rippled as if a water effect on a merrior. His eyes foucused to notice that the town looked like i continued in the center from walkign down thte street, however when you stepped thorugh... something wasn't right. he must have just walked into a prepareation for a attack. Someone had just put this here. This was to make it look like nothing was going on in the other side of town if anyone looked. However he noticed the change already. It was dull and empty. Too quiet on the other side. He looked around. He then spotted something and squtted low next to the closest building. There was a women carrining a book in her hand quickly to the other side of the street. "A witch..." her mumbled. He though tabout going back and telling the others inthe castle, but Ms Hikari wasn't right right now, and Ms Keria was buisy it seemed whereever she was. He had no idea where train went off too. This was his chance all right, he had no options. Though he had to try something, "Asher" he whispered seeing if she would appear out of no where beside him.
