Meiji blinked slowly at the squad list, quickly seeking out her name and noting the ones listed with it. Yuki Laluna and Shun S. Shimada? I don't think I recognize those names... She turned away and looked around, wondering how she could find the right people. Maybe she should yell or something?
Her problem was solved when a somewhat familiar voice reached her ears. Oh, so Tris and Shun was the same person. Maybe Tris was a nickname or something? This was a bit strange, though, pairing up people from different villages...more variety, she supposed.
As it turned out, both of her new teammates were from Kiri - Tris and a small, white-haired girl she supposed was Yuki. They were looking around, probably for her. She walked over to them and gave both of them a small smile.
"Hello again, Tris. And...Yuki-san, right?" Meiji tilted her head slightly. "I'm Meiji, it's nice to meet you, Yuki-san."

He then went over the clues and then looked around some more."How many do we have to collect? There's twenty of them, and sixteen of us. So it couldn't be one each or else the entire exam will be nothing but everyone advancing to Chuunin." He said as he slumped off to the east, not even interested in finding them right off the bat. Now. All we have to do is wait for Mifune." Zangetsu wanted to get the artifacts and be done with it as soon as possible. He wanted to avoid confrontation. Especially with Yuki. And if there were only two people on his squad, then they would only need two artifacts. And he already knew how to get two of them. One would be dangerous, but the other would be simple. But if there were three then he also knew where another one was, but that would be even more difficult. He leaned over slightly to Kreya. "You wouldn't happen to be familiar with infiltration, would you? he whispered. If Mifune didn't show up soon, Zangetsu was all for leaving without him. ~~~~~~~

It really doesn't matter if you'rex ω я σ и ɢx or if you're right...xxxx ✔✘✔ Upon being acknowledged, Ash began to walk off, assuming it was towards their designated area which seemed to be somewhere near by, She followed along side the other two at her own relative pace, yet still close enough to accounted into the group. It did seem wisest to find out about the abilities of your new found teammates, but she still felt like holding back incase there would be some kind of twist near the end, which almost always happened. It was good to have an ace in the hole, but even better to have two. She listened to the two as they spoke about what they specialised in. Even so, after Ashylln stopped talking she considered her answer carefully before speaking. "I specialise in Ninjutsu and Genjutsu," absently she began to finger the flute in her pouch and flipped it a few times before putting it back, "along with my own clan jutsu as well. Yuki looked at the girl who walked up to them and guessed that she was Meiji, she waved hi to her and didn't say anything. She looked at the ground slightly and then looked back at Meiji, she didn't know what to do now, and thought maybe they should go to they were suppose to go to look for the artifacts, the west.

Head of Hyuuga Clan ~ Genin ~ 280 Chakra  Listening as they headed to their designated area, she could see that the others were being slightly vague. Ash had said ninjutsu, but she was not quite sure what his family ability was supposed to be. After all, he wasn't from Konoha so she could not really guess. It was probably the trouble with her own bloodline. Featureless white eyes were the signature of the Hyuuga clan and anyone in Konoha would know some of the things the Hyuuga's could do.
Furia was just as vague, citing ninjutsu and genjutsu. Jun did manage to catch the other was fiddling with something on her person but could not guess as to what it was. A knife showing she excelled in some kenjutsu? Some sort of scroll? Either way, Jun had very little doubt that Furia was holding something back. "I see..." said Jun, not minding that they were so vague. No doubt she would be able to see some of their abilities first hand as they went through this challenge.
Picking up the scroll containing their clues, she opened it and began looking it over "Anyway, let's go over these clues. I've got a few ideas as to where some of these might be." Perhaps they could discuss this in private, unless some people decided to sneak up and get an idea on where to get the artifacts.

Something she was never good with. Sure she was intelligent, but strategy wise and not with solving riddles. She just hoped the other two would have better insight than she did, but she would definitely try be of use. She cleared her throat and pursed her lips. "Alright then. Tell us your ideas and we can work that way. If not we can work through the simplest ones first that we could have a good chance at finding." she said, eyes scanning down the scroll for something that sounded simple. They all sounded like they could be figured easily enough, but it would take more than one brain to do so. However she would need a good look at the scroll to be able to understand the riddles correctly. Her eyes scanned around them, the place was still crawling with Genin. They would probably need to speak in private. Even so, if anyone decided to evesdrop and steal their ideas and they were wrong, well the joke would be on them. ✔✘✔ xxxx♣ ♤ ♥ ♦

"Okay~ Now that we got our introductions down, let's head over to our side of the island and go think about our plan!", Tris said before he walked over to the board and took a set of clues and rolled them up. He then took his two teammate's hands and pulled them along to the west side of the island.

So Yuki's the quiet and shy type while Tris is the exact opposite? This should be interesting...
Meiji had just enough time to grab a second set of clues from the board before Tris grabbed her and Yuki's hand and began pulling them towards their assigned area. As they went she quickly looked through the clues, picking out a couple she could kind of figure out already. She supposed they were allowed to leave the island and travel around the villages, but...
She pushed the thought out of her head and sighed. Time enough to worry about that later. [exit]

After a while of speaking about the hints and where they may be, the group would find themselves now only waiting for the next morning to rise. They had a few good ideas and some that...weren't so good, but agreed one which ones they would have a possibility of finding easily. "So, shall we get some sleep? I'm not sure when they planned to have us actually leave the island. We could be naughty little creatures and leave pre-maturely. But, that would get us the channce of being disqualified as well." Ash was leaning on his left leg, placing all his weight on it as his arms crossed over his bare chest.

I want to get a crack at the Sacred Uchiha Training Grounds, but it isn't necessary. We need to go to Kirigakure, and the eastern shore of this island. That should be all we need. he whispered so that all the other shinobi around them wouldn't hear. A number of the riddles weren't difficult, so he guessed that the other genin would go after them too. "We need to get moving, fast." Where was Mifune? If he didn't show up, Zangetsu was going to try and persuade Kreya that they should leave as soon as possible, even without Mifune. ~~~~~~~
