Ahh, I was besides my router the whole time too .___. hence my absence from the computer.
dat hail/cloyster.
I hate it.
The irony too.
My friend nilla had a battle against a Cloyster for this tournament as well

what item did you have on it?
I was amazed my Gyarados hit both of the stone edges, a shame my flygon got taken out after missing that earthquake with the switch to Froslass.
That Magnezone is actually a 4th gen set, along with all my other pokemon d: haven't had the time/patience to make a gen 5 team.
And sorry about all the Lefties, I actually meant to have a life orber, but forgot to switch out before going in. And at that point I was like: "nope, wouldn't be fair to switch now. time to wing it"
Over all, good game
was pretty intense

No worries about the router, GenV wifi is just buggy. Not as bad as when the games first released, but stuff like that happens. I just wanted to make sure you weren't sitting across the street from it, lol. People do that to me all the time xD
And yeah, the hail team's a new one for me. I hadn't used a weather team in a couple years, and felt like trying something new. I probably won't use it for my other matches, but it definitely has its strengths.
What's really funny about that Stone Edge on Froslass is that if I'd been able to properly troll with the T-Wave, Confuse Ray and Snow Cloak I probably wouldn't have been able to set up with Cloyster. His held item was Focus Sash, so the second you Spike'd with Skarmory he was just about useless. I really need a Rapid Spinner for this team, because the Spikes messed me over bad. Those first 20 turns had be convinced I'd lost. Your team gives me nightmares! ; ^ ;
Overall a really fun match. ^^

It just makes building teams way too easy.
I wish I could have my 4th gen scene back. A shame the games do not support WPA wi-fi /:
The hail team is pretty decent and scared me a bit at first. Specially since I had my Flygon and thought I had my Dragonite. I thought ice attacks would do more damage to Skarmory too, but steel cancels that out -w-
As for using it, it definitely has advantages as any weather team does, though rain and sun teams run rampant in gen 5 thanks to drizzle Politoed and drought Ninetails. My advice would be to definitely have a pokemon with stealth rocks, spikes, leech seed, or toxic spikes, and maybe a rapid spinner (not exactly necessary)
Focus Sashed Cloyster... Hmm. Well it has immense defense already so physical attacks aren't a problem (minus priority Mach Punch). The issue is special attacks, entry hazard trolling, status problems, and moldbreaker. So usually Cloyster would have a white herb to eliminate the stat decreases from Shell Smash. Focus Sash relatively useless since most teams will have Stealth Rocks or another entry hazard (you would have to lead with Cloyster for FS to be effective)
My team is filled with really bulky pokemon (minus Gengar, who is also FS'd and would have died even if you hadn't hit him with Icicle Spear thanks to Hail damage) so it's no walk in the park, especially after finding my Magnezone (a shame I hadn't anticipated the Brick Break) but don't worry, you won't find any others like it. Mine is pure gen 4 d: (just be glad I didn't have Bronzong or Dragonite)
But yes, great battle and good luck in the next round ^^
