He gave Harrison a smile he didn't feel. "I know right? ******** bird." It wasn't the bird who was the problem.
Once again it wheeled back around to them with a screech that made him wince, charging hurriedly forward again before his hesitation could cost them any more wasted time. He leapt as high as he could, he had to hit it this ******** time right? He had to.
Somewhere he felt the drag behind the blade that meant he'd hit something. The bird screeched angrily and lashed at him with its claws, but he'd hit it. He dropped heavily back to the ground, catching his breath, not giving himself time to feel tired before he prepared himself to attack again.
"Don't even ******** think about it." he snarled at Leon for encouraging Jerry to hit his dorm. "I think half the ******** facilities mugs are in there so."

Cass worked to keep the Phoenix where it was after that shot from Jerry, hissing at it. Those things kinda hurt when they thrashed around, and it was kind of starting to make her arms tired.
How was everybody holding up, anyways?

Harrison got up with Rep, expression grim. They weren't gonna get knocked back again. This time he set his stance. This wasn't fending off a bunch of small, minor creatures while Rep plowed through them.
The phoenix was wheeling back and forth down the long hallway, shooting past like a rocket.
"Wait for it to come to us," he growled.

He nodded grimly, setting his stance and waiting, yeah, he was right, he was probably wasting energy chasing the ******** up and down the island. "Right."
As it swooped in for an attack, it took a lot of mettle to hold his ground until the last moment.
When it was near enough, he snapped into action, bringing the ragged blade around in a sweep. He wasn't fast enough, it was deflected expertly and gone before he could so much as scratch its tail feathers.
He glared at it as it went, not looking away from it as he stated quietly. "Sorry man."

"Only because you are really ******** good at your job Ace." he stated with a smirk, still keeping his eyes on the bird. "Really ******** good."
And once again it was heading straight for them, completely undeterred, and again he had to hold his ground and hope. Hope to ******** whatever there was that he'd manage to swing in time.
He connected, the feeling one of the greatest things as the bird screamed and flapped its wings, wheeling away from them again, this time actually hurt. "And don't ******** come back!"
He could dream.

Aleister had paused for a second, he watched for a little bit before taking a run at the phoenix only to stumble and miss. He ended up back on his feet and scooting back away from the phoenix.

Harrison leaned over closer. "I like my job. You know," he said, voice low, "the first thing I'm gonna do when we get all these monsters out-" The bird came tearing at them again, but Harrison's swords had dropped a little, clearly preoccupied, "s**t-!"
An even longer string over curses followed as he furiously tried to fend the thing off.
