Trying to keep conversation with the crowd of denizens, she couldn't help but notice Avery's own crowd of people leaving his booth.
Once finished, she was happy to have a good selection cards. Placing them down onto her booth, Ava turned to face Avery. Shaking her head, she stared at the boil as he sat there, still in the same position as when he first sat down, silent as the grave.
"Avery, you have to at least talk to them."

Oh great. Byrn was coming back to make fun of her, wasn't she. May sighed and said, "It's um ... It's great! I got a lot of cards, and people sounded really interested!"
If anything, she was polite to a fault. "How's your's coming?"
She had to put a hand on Carafe's tail to keep him from wandering off yet again. "Remember what Selene told you," she whispered grumpily.

"Closed for the day," He replied, pointing at small table with a tablecloth over it, and minipet figurines on the top; the sign 'Be Right Back' was still there, but he was obviously not going to return anytime soon, "I received enough name cards to last me a while..."
Hopefully one of those would get him a good job.
"Have you seen May, by any chance?" He frowned, looking at the boil.

The Reaper hadn't been really paying much attention to the other students' booths. But all the same, he took a gander at the other booths and spotted the druid, "Ain't that her having a talk with that phoenix ghoul?" he gestured towards the pair with his thumb as well as his lips, the latter being an odd habit he could never seem to break free off.

Game day, darklin'. Callie was so on this.
Three years were spent at school, but the golem had long before been dreaming of joining the ranks of the officers that kept Halloween justice. And at last came the day that she'd have to not just impress but dazzle them. Accordingly, she outfitted her booth with reminders of accomplishments.
Trophies dictated her various athletic accomplishments (including an honorary medal from the Bruteball team) and artistic endeavors (most notably a 1st place in several categories of a paper macho art contest), and various term papers she'd gotten at least a B- on were placed for those with patience to read. Quotes were lifted from a handful of Callie's favorite books and philosophers to help identify who she was as a person, the largest of which was plastered at the top of her stand in a wavy banner: "We are the hero of our own story. - Bloody Mary McCarthy". The table was a bit cluttered, but the golem hoped her exuberance showed through it.
And she was sure to proudly display the red emblem of the defenders at the very front, no questions about it. She would take the sneers and eye rolls.

Settling a hand, palm down, on Mays head Pyre ruffled the hair of the other ghoul a little roughly. Palm Noogie? "Good for you! Though you should know that my booth went amazing." How else would it have gone? Pyre was after all, attractive, amazing, and charismatic! ....Right? Usually that brought attention to her, though the pumpkins on their heads sure made them all look funny. Thing is, May might have tried to keep the snake away from the phoenix... but she couldn't keep the phoenix away from the snake. "Hello, Carafe." Pyre patted the snake on the head as well, similar greeting to his reaper but less rough. "Though..."She could not help it. She remembered their conversation recently. A flick of the wrist, and she indicated up and down on the ghouls ah.. outfit. "Hard to believe, yes?"Pyre had not noticed the onlookers...just yet.

Oh well wasn't it just jacking fantastic that little miss featherbutt's booth had gone well. May was indignant as Pyre fluffed up her hair (she HATED that), but only sighed and took down her mess of curly brown hair. She had to redo her ponytail as Pyre continued to talk AND steal Carafe away again.
May shot Carafe a look and for once the snake stayed put.
"Hard to believe what?" she asked innocently, though she knew where this conversation was headed. "Hard to believe how much attention you got? Or ..." She snickered inwardly a little at that one. Any laughing out loud would lead to a punch in the face, but she could at least have her giggles on the inside.

"Right," He paused, and then added awkwardly, "Thanks." Leaving Manny, he walked straight up to May and Pyre, the latter of which had quite the reputation among their classmates as being a class A b***h; he was secretly a little envious, because she seemed to have 'cool' down, even if she was literally smoking hot.
"May," He greeted, looking at the reaper, "Carafe." He was obviously biased towards the snake, giving the familiar a pet on its smooth body before looking up at the phoenix, "Pyre."

Vel decided that she had enough cards in the meantime, and went on elsewhere to see how the others were doing. One of the first booths she stumbled upon was no other than Malcolm's. Smirking, she sauntered over before taking a look at what he had. There were.. minipet figurines. Interesting.
"Not bad, big boy. Though you know... you still owe me one for yesterday. I hope you know this," she said with a raised brow.
She glanced to the others in the group, spotting May, Byrn, and Manny around. An interesting combination here. This could be amusing.
"Taking a break from all of the job hunting?" she asked them.

Westhor left Matt asleep in his own booth, and walked back to where he had set up a table for his booth; since he wanted to do nothing but to chill out a lot after graduation, he wanted to have a minimalist approach. However, his parents had been nagging at him, telling him to 'quit being a bum' and to 'get a real job' so that he could 'move out of the basement' - which was why he even bothered with a banner. He had taken a black piece of cloth, and wrote the following in bold, red letters.MAKING emotion_bigheart LOVEThe table itself had a dark red tablecloth over it, and wilted rose petals scattered over it. He was also playing some soft, calming music. Something chill. Despite the simple set up, it was attracting a lot of attention.
... Probably for the wrong reasons.

Despite how... Uh, perfect his booth was, Westhor was... Not a very well-kept or handsome looking boil. He was probably average, but due to how his clothing was always charred, or how his hair always looked like some sort of an afro due to him "discharging" into the air, he probably appeared below average most of the time.
However, a few people actually stopped by his booth! This made him oddly happy. It made him... Feel the love.

"That you could even get offers wearing THAT." She said back snippily, not being one to censor her thoughts what so ever. Pyre always thought that was one of her own charms... she told you how she thought it was. "You and i still have a date with my wardrobe, and your impending makeover." She glared needles in to May, DETERMINED to help this girl out. She needed it, god did she need it... "Malcolm, though you seem to have resisted the urge to greet me, i forgive you." She said turning her attention to the boil with a roll of eyes. NOW this was someone she could understand. The two of them both had a love for anything critter... be it familiar, minis, or else-wise. "How's Valde?" She knew his dirty little secret, though she forgave him. There was nothing wrong with loving minipets. "Its such a BORE." She noted at Val, as the ghoul approached. "All these people, all this talk of work and jobs..." She fluttered her wings and rolled her shoulders.. tension release. Yeah she closed her booth already. Why? She was just so damn bored.

"I WANT TO MAKE LOVE TO ALL OF YOU!" He declared, sniffling as he dabbed at the tears in his eyes; he was touched that people would pay him attention, even if he had never fancied himself a very eye-catching guy; that first sentence of his little speech, however, caused several people to shift about uncomfortably before leaving, although there were a few who remained behind.
"SISTERS, BROS, WE SHOULD ALL MAKE LOVE TO EACH OTHER, YOU KNOW?" He continued, voice full of emotion; a small crowd had gathered by now, and he got even more emotional, "EVERYONE SHOULD BE MAKING LOVE!"
At the end of the day, he did surprising well, even if he had discharged so much energy that his hair had flopped down; it didn't bother him though. He was happy, and he was chill. His hair would stand again soon anyway!

Booths. That meant she was going to be standing there for a ton of people to see. Thus, Viviane spent far more time on her outfit than she did actually caring about what her booth would look like. Hours on hair, makeup, and picking out the perfect dress. Really, there was just no time to care about some stupid booth. She set out a few sketchbooks with her clothing designs, but otherwise it remained barren and unimpressive.
On the bright side, she looked jacking fantastic

Everything had to go perfect today. As on fire as she was (a strange analogy for a monster made of paper), Callie knew she'd have to manage her time so that not only did her booth look awesome but she got the sleep needed to be bright and alert for the three day ceremony. As such she had taken care to look her best: her hair fell into curled ringlets about her shoulders, ink blots and smudges were removed with precision from her pale white skin to allow for some light makeup, and her red dress flowed like the wind - another choice specifically to remind people of her chosen faction.
Callie was proud as hell about Defenders, and haters could go hate.
Each person who came by her set up was greeted with an amicable smile and an upright carriage as she explained to them who she was and what she wanted to do after school. The boogeymen who listened t least looked attentive, sending her heart aflutter.
