"Well then, let's go. I hadn't hunted in awhile as you might have guessed.."

Seeing how he didn't leave his room all that often at all nowadays.

That grin came right back over Shehk's face from before she'd been tainted by a mouthful of sugar. Not that she'd forget that taste anytime soon.

"I'm game. Where to?" she asked, tail beginning to wag again.

"I think that sounds like a solid plan." she agreed.

Shehk tailed Jericho as he went to say goodbye to Malodore, taking a moment to give the doctor a hug. "Take care while we're gone." she bid with a smile, watching Jericho as he said his farewell to Lizzy as well.

With the passing farewells out of the way, the pricolici followed after Jericho for a few steps before she caught up to walk next to him as they went to go feed their craving.

Literally.

"I'm not upset." Mac insisted quietly, though so shortly it somewhat betrayed his real emotions. "I'm happy for them, really." He continued, really keeping up on the whole BE NICE thing Lizzy had engraved into his mind. His thoughts and stances on marriage really only applied to him and his own life; it wasn't like he had any right to tell them they were stupid and besides, they agreed to wait until after graduation. So really, it was only Freya's stupid that had annoyed him in the end.

Seriously, who watches that trash?

But all of his frowning and attempted not-frowning was thrown out the window as Lizzy threatened him, that brought on a sudden bark of laughter, followed by somewhat quieter chuckles. "Yeah right, as if any other ghoul could put up with me!" Attracting he couldn't help because, lets be honest - he was gorgeous - but it pretty much ended the moment he opened his mouth. "I'll try." He promised anyway, laughing as he knelt down to put the lantern on the water, pushing it out to join the others.

"Me too," Mac laughed, wrapping his arms around Lizzy to hold her against him. "Ghouls are annoying~" He teased, squeezing her closer so she couldn't escape, and swaying from side to side simply because he could.

"I never liked her; I almost came close once, but..." The Psychopomp shrugged, leaning his chin on Lizzy's head and staring out into the now glowing lake. "Gonna miss her, a little bit." One less thing in his life to dislike, siiiigh.

Malodore nodded and gave Shehk and Jericho a small wave as they left, then focused on Calder's words. "Fighting... I did not see her fight, but I was... distracted, at the time." Malodore bowed its head. Still, Calder's tap kept it from sinking into melancholy, and it turned its head and smiled at the kelpie. "Ah, si, it was her idea. An excellent undertaking, though it would not have worked without her own considerable ability..."

Its gaze wandered back to the lanterns on the lake. Riley had been a crucial part of that whole exercise, preparing Amrita's mind and courage even as it and Christof had prepared her future body. It sighed as another person pushed out a lantern. "I am glad I have friends," it said, abruptly. "Truly, I do not know what I would be doing at this moment, otherwise."

"Boat ride?" That caught her attention, and she nodded her head, looking down, and away almost immediately after, "I-I wasn't thinking of anything else!" Her blush probably gave her away though, "And if I was, it's all your fault!"

"Riiiight, and I'm always nice." Mac snorted with amusement, leaning in to give another affectionate nuzzle; it was times like this, when faced with the death of a classmate, that one comes to appreciate what they have more than they ever did. Lizzy was alive, and he was gonna enjoy her every minute of it. "Is not, I was innocent before I met you." He insisted, pinching her side playfully.

The strangest feeling came over him then, like...he was being watched. Wrinkling up his nose he looked around and spotted Mitsu staring at him in disapproval. Oh dear, he knew that look well. He cherished that look. First, he waggled his eyebrows at her when Lizzy wasn't looking. "But it could be a euphemism, if you want it to." Then the Reaper added this at first innocently down at Lizzy...and then a not-so-innocent grin was flashed to Mitsu. Oh yeah, he could go there anytime he wanted. Whattchu gon' do 'bout it, Pup?!

"So...whaddya say? I promise I won't throw you overboard."
