Bix was trying to move alot to avoid getting hit. Unfortunately the large bug that had hit him minutes before was still on the field of battle. It swiped at him, sending him flying, and severely limiting that amount of damage he was capable of dishing out.

Tablets. The task itself seemed easy enough; with the Suns keeping the beasts at bay with the help of the Moons, Sasha wouldn't have to worry about being attacked.
Needle in a haystack. Easier said than done.
Sasha would not be discouraged. She was thrilled to have been given orders, and charged ahead to tackle the task at hand. Moving forward, Sasha found a favorable spot and immediately started digging around in the hot, pale sand.

The tired mist hunter started forward in the mess, searching for anything she could find. She started digging around, but nothing happened. And when five minutes had passed without finding anything, she moved to another place.

Sasha was starting to think about it. She really didn't want to be the only Life hunter that came back with no tablets. She certainly didn't want to keep failing.
The thought had her growing a bit upset, and as she searched for another tablet with futility, Sasha had to force herself to calm down. It was a big desert; certainly nobody could be upset with her if she returned with nothing, right?

Sasha paused in her searching. She still hadn't found a single tablet. There were giant bugs being fought and killed, the sands were hot and sometimes the blasting desert wind would scorch her skin, sending grains of sand slipping across the vast desert.
She could vaguely hear Jerry and Wash singing; the sound brought a smile to her face. Sasha had never heard the song before, but it truly lightened her spirits.

Syd started digging through the sand, knowing just as well as the others that it was important to have these supplies. She just wished she knew where they were, she thought as she came up empty handed again.

She'd started humming the tune in her head now; something about sunshine on a cloudy day? It was a lovely little song, and Sasha was almost too distracted by it to notice a tablet half-submerged in the sands a short few feet away.
With a broad smile, the young woman retrieved the tablet. She couldn't stop grinning at the small success, and continued searching once more - still humming the song.

Sasha chuckled softly to herself as she continued searching for tablets; she could overhear Jerry talking to Wash about holding off on singing. She refrained from calling out, asking them to continue. It had helped soothe her just the slightest.
She patted her left pocket with one hand - kazoo, check - before patting her right pocket, shuffling the tablet around in her arms - mp3 player, check. Safe and sound, the both of them, and with a genuine smile Sasha looked up just in time to see the tip of a tablet get washed beneath the sand.
She retrieved it, settling it carefully against the other tablet she clutched in her arms.

Syd moved to another section and started searching, feeling a headache coming on. Maybe she wasn't as good a mist as she thought she was, she figured. If finding things was a part of the job, she was definitely a failure.

Sasha was feeling pretty good about herself - she'd found not just one, but two tablets, and she'd kept her nerves and insecurities at bay - thanks to Wash and Jerry for their pretty little song.
Clutching the tablets to her chest, Sasha made her way back to the others with a bright smile on her face. Nona was humming little snippets of the song they'd overheard; maybe she'd ask Jerry or Wash to sing her the whole thing the next time the found a few moments to rest.

All she found was something bloody. Syd stared at the piece of material, then sighed and moved on to the next spot. Her fingernails were taking a beating, but she refused to use Izy as a shovel. Next time she thought, she would bring a little gardening shovel as well.

Syd found a new stop a bit further into the area, and let out a sight of relief as she saw a water canteen half buried in the sand. She pulled it out, uncapping it to see if there was still water in it before capping it again and slipping it into her pack. At least she had found one thing, and she still had time to search for one more, she thought as she moved to the next spot.

The canteen looked to be the only thing she was going to find, Syd thought with a sigh as her time ran out. She got to her feet and headed back.

Julie's request made Jordan smile a little, grim as the assigned task was. There were some constants in the world, and it seemed that Julie, crazy as she sometimes was, was one of them. Her unshakable cheer might not be realistic, but it was oddly comforting. The whipping wind and sand made the trek more difficult. The scarf made a good mask, wrapped around his face and tucked back, but he really couldn't do anything to protect his eyes other than squint and turn the side of his face into the direction of the wind. Arriving at the site was something of a relief. He could keep his eyes on the ground, watch for motion. It wasn't a difficult task, he found. The movement pattern of the swarms was distinctive. Once you spotted it, it was unmistakable. He brought Ferros down onto a slithering, skittering patch, and felt the crunch of carapace as Ferros growled with satisfaction. The rest of the swarm came exploding up off the ground towards him, but none of it reached him; Wash had arrived just in time to knock the things away, the swarm breaking itself on his shield. "Thanks, man," Jordan said, and grinned at the Moon hunter. "Owe you one." Defended for 20SUNHP: 50/50 Taken down: 12 Total: 12 Time: 25/30

Carefully Tori listened to what Allen was saying making sure not to miss anything. It looked that they were going to be split into there divisions and she did respect Allen for him to tell them they had to collect weapon tablets since it was most likely Hunters lost under him. Right this second she was in mission mode and later on would she be sad for those that were lost, since she didn’t want to think if she ever did lose Aklin.
Once they were at the location and have a little sigh as it was going to be hard to find any weapon tablet but she quickly got to work digging in the sand. Stroke of luck as Tori had been digging she had found a weapon tablet and put it into her pocket.
