 ❋Kori Shirayuki ❋
A cold breeze just rolled in..... Kori's mind seemed to snap further when Yuzuki seemed to accept this. She smelled something fishy going on, but she wasn't sure what. On the other hand, if her friend and teacher did swing that way...... She turned to Yuichi, her face quickly flushing red. "Your going to go behind that rock and sit there until......this is done. If you look I might have to kill you. We clear?" Not waiting for an answer, she walked with a purpose to stand in front of the other two and stood over them, crossing her arms as she did so. She put on a brave front, but her voice quivered as she spoke. "E-either you two explain to me what's going on or-or convince me of.........this and we will leave you alone."
.....oh wait, that was just my breath.

After a few moments of tongue battles with Tsuchia she broke off and looked over at her friend once again. ”Then, clumsy us, we slipped, fell and I landed on her hand. Oh! Tsuchia-sensei was going to give me a one on one lesson in oral skills, but… I suppose if you really wanted to join us, I guess I could let the both of you join in…” Yuzuki was starting to enjoy this game of deception, she wondered if she was doing good enough for Kori to believe her, just to be sure she was letting her hands roam over some rather… interesting… places on her teacher, who was still hovering above her with her hand up the skirt of her dress and her hand on her bosom. Yuzuki pulled her teacher closer to her, as if pleading to finish what they had supposedly started. She found Tsuchia surprising cool headed about this, Yuzuki was having fun with this little game of theirs, but Tsuchia seemed oddly cool about it as well. Maybe her teacher really did have a thing for her cutest, most deserving and favorite student? Well, she supposed that such a love would only blossom for a little while before society and fate at large would tear them apart. How cruel fate could be to those who were bound by the red thread of destiny! Alas, forbidden desires and shadowed pleasures would seldom make a couple, and it was here the Yuzuki feared that her teacher and student romance would come to a dying end. She would have to break it to Tsuchia softly… she was but a fleeting things that would remain immortalized in her memory as the woman who stole her first kiss… the devious thing… that little succubus… but, at the same time it was a symbol of her Youth, here for but a few moments then passing in the wind, just like the Sakura blossoms come spring.
That melodramatic bullshit didn’t stop Yuzuki’s twisted little source of amusement though.
”So, are we making this a foursome or are we going to meet up with you guys in a couple of minutes when we’re done here?

As if to back up Yuzuki's statement, Tsuchia opened her mouth and Yuzuki's keys dangled at the end of her tongue(how did she get those?). She jingled the keys playfully and retracted her tongue and closed her mouth. "I recently discovered something nice, Kori. I'd be happy to share it with you if only you'd let me. Yuzuki here took to it rather quickly once I asked her nicely."She removed herself from her student carefully so as to not hurt anything important. She gently squeezed her hand back, thankful she was willing to go along with this. She stood up with a deep breath and sauntered over to Kori, laying a hand casually on her shoulder. "So, interested?"

Yuichi Shizen Yuichi practically colapsed over to the rock still extremely tired from his... training? well it was more a tantrum then training i suppose but it was supposed to be training. he thought bitterly. Still he listened with a quiet grin as Kori tried to force some form of truth from their comrades. Laying down on his side he closed his eyes obediently. Though he smirked at Yuzuki's comment about a foursome. Raising his hand above the rock he waved it. "I don't want to die today thanks so you three can have fun without me. Not to mention i just used up allot of chakra so my stamina's probably low. Considering the track record of senseis family i'm sure she can tell you that means I wouldn't be much fun." he said dismissively deciding to go with whatever was going on. "It's obvious they are hiding something. Just think Kori, tsuchias a jonin so it won't be easy to crack her. In fact it wouldn't be easy to "Stumble" onto them either. I bet if she didn't want us to be seen we never would... well except me i have been spotting jonin for sport for years. And Yuzuki is an illusionist so if she wanted privacy we would be sipping tea at home right now." he mumbled quietly to himself. It was unlikely anyone would really hear it except maybe Tsuchia. ????-A Rank 3013/6000

 ❋Kori Shirayuki ❋
A cold breeze just rolled in..... Kori's face literally broke out in a bright red. She couldn't take it anymore and turned on her heel away from Yuzuki and Tsuchia. brushing the hand away from her like it was a large spider. She swiftly strode away from the area in a huff, her ears burning. This was......this was......just too much for her. She heard Yuichi as she stormed away, but her mind was still in such a frazzle that it didn't register. She sat down next to a pond that she often trained at and curled her legs near her chest, hugging them. What the hell had she just witnessed?
.....oh wait, that was just my breath.

Is that the excuse the men are going with for a poor performance now adays?” Yuzuki teased as she stood up herself, regaining her balance before she leaned over the rock, placing her elbow on the rock and her chin in her palm as she watched Kori walk away in a frazzled, broken huff. Yuzuki got a twisted grin on her face as she watched, that girl was too tight and needed to loosen up a little bit. Maybe some playful girl time would do her good? She looked down at Yuichi who seemed to be exhausted still, it was going to be obvious that they weren’t going to go on a mission any time soon. Yuzuki pushed herself and spun playfully around on her heel to face the opposite direction. ”Well, that was a little amusing, but I think I’m going to go and practice some more jutsu for a little while. See you guys later~!” Yuzuki made her way towards a patch of trees where she could ‘practice in private,’ though as soon as she hit the treeline the happiness that she put up on her face for her friends withered off her face as she came to a stop in the shadows of the tree. She let what she had discussed with her sensei roll around in her head as she raised her hand to where the odd throbbing was occurring inside of her chakra network. She slowly started to walk towards the center of the woods where she could think things through a little more and digest what she was told. Her shoulders felt heavy all of a sudden and sapped of strength, like her knees were going to give out or something. So… she had a chakra monster inside of her… that made her a Jinchuriki… but… what did it mean to be a Jinchuriki? Would she even be able to handle the chakra monster that was inside of her? What was the chakra monster exactly? Why was she suddenly in possession of it instead of the other boy? Her mind was abuzz with questions and muddled with half answers and false truths that she had heard second hand, rumours and hearsay from different people. She suddenly felt very alone within the village and wished she had her Paw-paws wisdom or at least his comfort.
She wondered deeper into the woods where she found a large fat tree that she would frequent as a child, it was the best one in the whole forest - she would tell others- It could hold you up to see the world and the best part, it was strong enough to hold an adult. Yuzuki raised her hand and placed it on the tree trunk, slowly stroking the rough wood of tree that seemed so much smaller to her than it did when she was younger. She looked up for a moment before she raised her hand to grab the first branch and pulled herself up the tree one branch at a time. She relived a few memories of her past as she crawled slowly up the tree until she came to one of the top branches where she could look out and see the forest below. A far cry from the world that she told others about, but when you’re young, the world was just too big to contain within ones knowledge, so she supposed the forest was good enough for a child to view the world as. There were worse things that you could associate with it. Yuzuki dangled her legs over the branch where she sat quietly and took in the world that was surrounding her, the birds were starting to return to the forest to decorate them with their songs. It was peaceful here, it did her good to feel the tranquility after the brash and sudden chaos that fill the day before. She breathed deeply before closing her eyes and relaxing as best she could. Bowing her head slightly Yuzuki couldn’t help but wonder something, it was the one question that repeatedly bubbled to the top of her head: Was she a monster? Would Grandpa have been disappointed or even ashamed of her? God, that thought was far more traumatic than anything that she was already subject to. Where did she start? What was the best way to move forwards? Was she now the tailed beast that resided in her or was she still Yuzuki? Yuzuki felt a little lost right now, and not sure what to do about it. Yuzuki was used to just putting her head down and charging thought life, struggling and conquering her trials one step at a time. Was this going to be different? Was this the same thing only different? She knew nothing about being a Jinchuriki, where could she learn more about it? Yuzuki opened her eyes again and turned them upwards towards the canopy. What did she do now? Where did she start? She hadn’t felt this way in years and she wasn’t sure she appreciated it.

I can tell when you've never been true to me. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe difference between GODS and DEMONS largely depends upon where one is standing at the time.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ After a while of trying to get answers to questions that gave her no joy, Yuzuki decided to try and clear her head a little bit. She was starting to get a headache, and she decided that trying to piece things together when she had little information and nothing to go on was just going to have her mind running in circles and having her burn herself out. Yuzuki gave a heavy breath and jumped down from the tree and started to puzzle about what she should try and learn that could help her friends and herself, and after some moments in silence she came up with a few ideas. She leaned herself up against the tree she just jumped out of and closed her eyes. She wove her chakra, now having much more control now that her seal was strengthened, like she used to be able to do before this whole incident.
The brain was such an interesting and marvellous thing, so many areas to manipulate and so many minute details to go over when you were a genjutsuist that it was truly a breath taking thing to play with and experiment on. Yuzuki concentrated with her eyes closed and her hands in a sign to help her concentrate on the brain and its functions, she would need to affect two areas of the brain for her jutsu, one was the Cerebellum as it was going to be the majority how her jutsu was going to work and the other part of the manipulation was going to be with the Thalamus… because everything that was genjutsu started and ended with the Thalamus and its connection to the body. She supposed that the first part of getting to know how this jutsu was going to work would be with the manipulation of the Cerebellum, Yuzuki’s focus on this jutsu was that she was going to cause paralysis for her victims. The jutsu that she was going to be working on was going to be pretty basic but it would serve its purpose and hopefully give her an edge in combat, by making her opponents chose between going offensive after they broke through the jutsu or going purely defensive was going to force them to alter battle strategies, it would also be a great help to Yuichi who could take advantage and change in and do what he did best. What she would have to do is use her chakra to tap into the Cerebellum and plug the tiny Neurotransmitters with her chakra, by doing this she would rob the body`s nerves their ability to send signals to the rest of the body in order to voluntarily move around. The Cerebellum was the relay station to all the voluntary movement of the body and by attacking that with her chakra she would be able to either deny movement of her opponents or control their movements. Most genjutsuists just plugged their opponents Neurotransmitters when they placed them under, it was kind of like how the body paralysed you when you went into a deep sleep so that you didn`t act out your dreams. This was a natural thing for the body to do so it was very easy for a genjutsuist to make sure that the target didn`t act out their hallucinations as it would make their opponents impossible to predict and even more impossible to counter, it was especially a huge pain when a group of people were under and you were trying to kill them.
So the reason that she was doing this was to prevent movement. Yuzuki focused on the minute chakra control to spread up the body and into the brain, with needle and thread like precision she began to weave her little mind trick and trigger a natural response from the body in order for it to shut down the temporary motor functions that the individual might want to perform. She practiced filling in those impulse receptors in between the Neurons of the body. Without the Dendrites able to pick up those neurotransmitters the deal was done and those who were caught in her web of chakra were going to be at her mercy unless they did something and quick, and when you were able to overcome the Kai ability, things got significantly harder to try and get out of it. The rest of the jutsu was more or less just for fun, the esthetics of the genjutsu that make the jutsu hers. So, with that in mind Yuzuki practiced branching off the threading of chakra from the Cerebellum to the Thalamus, it wasn`t too hard as they were fairly close to each other and for the most part. The Thalamus was responsible for the vision end of things, so when Yuzuki plagued her opponents with paralysis she could let them see just what kind of horrors were going to be responsible for the bodies inability to move. She supposed that tapping into the primordial feelings of the Medulla oblongata would be the simplest thing to do, as the deep seeded feelings of terror would cause them to think that there was something horrifying about the person that was across from them. But Yuzuki was partial to the horror movie approach… and with tapping into such a primitive response system as the Medulla Oblongata it may trigger a flight reaction that would override her paralysis attempts. Yuzuki relaxed a little, knowing that she had accomplished her genjutsu.
Yuzuki concentrated on the specific regions of the brain that she was going to be covering with this Genjutsu, this one was going to be a little more tricky in that she was going to need to figure out how to weave another layer of genjutsu into the one that she had planted in the mind. She decided to make this as simple as she possibly could and start with just affecting the targets perception of the surrounding environment. Once she got that down, she would be able to branch out a little bit more with it, she already had some twisted idea`s for this kind of genjutsu but she was going to have to work on the bare basics of this first. It was far simpler to target an opponent’s perception of what was really there when nothing was trying to attack them, or other senses were directly being affected. So, the best place to start would be with the weaving of the actual charka together. Yuzuki concentrated and began her slow and delicate weaving, doing her best to ignore the influence of the tailed beast on her chakra, she was still having problems with it, but at the same time she was learning a few tips and tricks to make working around it a little easier, it was especially difficult when she had to work genjutsu, sometimes the interference by her beast made her grind her teeth in frustration, but with enough practice and patience she could conquer it, one jutsu at a time. Yuzuki took these fluxes in stride and tried to ‘ride the wave’ as it were to complete her jutsu. She took a few deep breaths, and concentrated on making her chakra as thin and as strong as possible, it took some working and some patience with fine manipulation and pinpoint precision. Yuzuki’s were closed but they were not clenched, she was learing that getting worked up about things didn’t help her situation when learning jutsu…
When she had gotten confident with the weaving of the chakra so that there was one layer under the other, she slowly worked on targeting the parts of the brain, she would need to target the visual relay to the brain as well as the smell as would have to make sure everything about the environment was going mimic was the same, so she would probably need to work on the sense of touch as well. The Thalamus was probably the best place to target, it controlled the relay station for the sensory impulses and then there was the Cerebellum that was responsible for memory, in theory if she targeted that she would be able to trigger the memory of the person and make them think that they were in an environment that was familiar to them, if she played her cards right, she would be able to work the Thalamus and the Cerebellum in unison so that they worked in concerned and the target would get confused and mixed up, and by that she meant that they wouldn’t think anything that may or may not be in front of them. It was a good jutsu for setting up traps with. With that figured out all that was left to do was fuse the two things together and she should have the working concept down pat. Though she needed to figure out how to place the woven threads of chakra into the victim’s brain without them realizing it, which was going to be the trick. She closed her eyes, she needed to be careful and precise, one screw up and it could ruin her illusion. She practiced, she worked and practiced with it for a good while until she was more than comfortable with what she was able to do and she was going to be confident that she was going to be able to do it in the heat of battle. She hoped that it wouldn’t come down to that, but if push came to shove, it might be enough of a distraction that she and her friends to get away from someone dangerous. Hell, if she worked it right she might be able to trick her opponent into thinking that she was actually an illusion herself, causing more confusion among her opponents and using that to her advantage, after all, a good illusionist warps the lines between reality and the illusion. With her confidence in her abilities satiated, Yuzuki relaxed and took a deep breath, clearing her mind and releasing the chakra to retire the jutsu Thoughts: A Genjutsuist practicing Genjutsu??? .... I can tell when you've never been true to me. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxThe difference between GODS and DEMONS largely depends upon where one is standing at the time.▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Taking what she learned in the previous training, she would affect three functions of the brain, and use four of the brain’s hemispheres against itself, the only difference was she needed to figure out how place another layer over the initial illusion. First, she would implant the chakra imbalance into the brain, just like how she did it before but this time she was to weave her chakra together tight enough that it would work together with the original. The main target would be the Thalamus and the Hypothalamus; by provoking slightly the brains responses to emotions through the sensory impulses, nothing would change really, spare the face that she would be weaving more of an illusion with the first layer of her genjutsu, just like she did with her night-terror jutsu that she taught herself earlier. She would have to find a way to trigger second one when enough chakra was dispersed or the pain receptor in the Thalamus was stimulated. Once the feeling of panic was installed she’d have to block the logical impulses that the brain would give off so the illusion seemed more real and convincing, then when the second one was found out or triggered she would create a perfectly feasible and likely illusion that would displace and offset what they just saw, the Cerebrum would probably still be trying to override the awkwardness of the horror that it was shown in the previous illusion so it would most likely be willingly to accept this new reality as what is really happening. The challenge of the jutsu was once again going to be weaving the chakra together and have the one thread of it not interfere with the initial illusion, because these two illusions were going to be so vastly different, she was going to have to lessen the amount of chakra in the second thread so that the only real illusion that was being seen as the image of herself that she would bait her opponent with and then position herself to strike.
Once the Thalamus was infiltrated and taken over, she would prod and poke at the Hypothalamus with her chakra to conjure the flight or fight response if the body and weave the images of horror that was going to be the bulk of the illusion. It seemed full proof, by using the impulses of the pain reactions or feed off the chakra it would be the barb in the jutsu that would make it that much better and give her and advantage. With the brain that far out of whack the rest of the body should follow, after that manipulating the Cerebrum of the brain and provoking sensations and memories with the chakra’s energy, after that manipulate the Thalamus in concert with the Cerebrum to create a realistic feel for the illusion to create the perfect mixture of reality and fantasy in the human brain. The other senses would be memory or stimulated through the chakra manipulation by combining the smells and sensations that the brain had already come across and stored into memory. Heart rate would increase and adrenaline would cause the mind to cloud judgement and believe the illusion even more. It all depended on how sound and how easily shaken her opponent was going to be and how quick they were to pick up on the double layering of the jutsu. The main plan with this sort of jutsu was that the brain would be eager to perceive the second layer as reality, making an opening for her when their opponent let their defense down slightly. The use of this jutsu was going to ride more on the response of the individual and how quickly the Cerebrum could recover from the shock and trauma of the initial onslaught of the more horrific images and how willing it was going to be to see the more realistic images before it as truth, that was going to be the trickier part, she would need to really pay attention to the surrounds and use the tricks she learned in the Double false surrounding technique, the trick would be making that illusion weak enough to not interfere, but strong enough to withstand the initial disruption of the first with either pain or chakra. She decided that the best way would be to trigger the second one like how she planned to trigger the secondary illusion of the Double false surrounding technique, that way it could be weak enough to not be noticed at first or interfering with the first illusion but then be able to stick around after the first one was dispersed.
Giving her charka a break, she decided to work on something a little easier. The technique was something of a bait and switch that was caused by an optical illusion. Yuzuki knew that the timing was going to be the tricky part of all this but it was the most important part of this technique. Yuzuki fetched and prepared two Demon wind shuriken Yuzuki found these a trifle overkill herself but they would be the easiest things to use and keep track of the second shuriken. This way she could learn and improve her timing with the skill until she was confident in it. Yuzuki found a target dummy for her to practice on and started to throw the oversized bladed death in the direction of her target… Only to miss horribly. Yuzuki’s eyebrow twitched in annoyance, it seemed that she was a little out of practice, but that was easy enough to remedy. Her regular shuriken precision was pretty good it was trying to throw this monstrosity that she needed to work on a little bit. She started to work on getting her precision with the usually unfamiliar tool back again, though she was have a bit of difficulty at first she was slowly starting to remember her training at the academy, throwing it around she was the hang of it again, the lessons were inching their way back out of her memory until she had finally gotten back on target. Well, one was down, now she needed to time her attacks until they were perfect. Yuzuki mentally winced to herself as she realized that her technique was going to be needing adjusting during various times of the day. She needed to get the shuriken in the shadow of the other one in order for it to work properly. Well… here went nothing…
Yuzuki was indeed getting her practice in with the shadows and their angles, after some hair pulling, teeth grinding frustration getting the timing right, she was finally starting to get the timing, though it was getting pretty close to nightfall so… she was going to have to hurry with her training or she risked the loss of her shadows. Yuzuki wiped the sweat from her brow as she continued to hulk these stupidly large shuriken around, it was actually harder work than she thought, she had practiced so much that her arms was agonizingly sore from the repeated motion of throwing the giant ninja start. She doubted that the weight of the damn thing did her any favours either. With the last dying of the sun, Yuzuki wound up once more and tossed her Shuriken in rapid succession, working out the final kinks to that needed to be smoothed over in order for this jutsu to work efficiently. Yuzuki continued to practice until she got the timing spot on, she could work any angle with the shadows as the cover for her second Demon Wind Shuriken. Yuzuki decided that enough was enough now, she had managed to accomplish what she had been after, she looked behind her to see her Demon Wind Shuriken lodged defiantly into the dummy where they would stay till morning, bearing mute testament to her triumph. That and her arms were too damn sore to get them out of the dummy…
Yuzuki was lazily tossing her shuriken around at the dummies, she was kind of bored but her mind was always twisting and turning with ideas. As she was retrieving her shuriken from the log when she was struck down with a case of the ‘lazys’ and tried to think of a way that she could practice without actually getting up and retrieving her ninja tools afterwards. She sat down and pondered for a moment then started to riffle through her ninja tools and pulled out some stretchy wire and attached it to her shuriken. Taking a seat once more she tossed her weapons against their intended target and then tried to retrieve her weapons with the strings that she attached earlier. After a couple of tugs Yuzuki found that they were still lodged in good, so she gave it a vicious pull, finally dislodging them and sending them rocketing towards her with some wicked velocity. Yuzuki’s eyes went wide and she dove for cover to avoid falling victim to her own weapons. Looking up, Yuzuki’s wheels started to turn in her mind. Well, that was an interesting little discovery… she sat up and shortened the length of the wire that she attached to her shuriken and started to get some momentum with them by spinning it around her body. She started to experiment with shortening and lengthening of the wire. It took some concentration and Yuzuki was having some problems getting things right. She was having some troubles with the angles and with the manipulation was more complicated than she initially thought. She decided that she was going to do something simpler till she got a basic idea of what was happening with the angles along with the reaction to the Shuriken on the wire that was attached to them. Yuzuki decided to start with some easier things to get a feel for what she could actually do with this technique. Yuzuki started with throwing her shuriken but purposefully missed her target, she the shuriken reach its limit before snapping backwards and coming at the back of the practice dummy. Yuzuki continued doing this for some time, she adjusted her tactics and started to learn to readjust the trajectory and the time that the shuriken came back to her with subtle manipulations from her fingers. Though she was still a little raw with the talent she was getting more and more confident about how to manipulate and use this to her advantage. She was starting to discover that the tactics that she could use with this technique that she stumbled upon by accident (and almost killing herself in the process…) held an infinite number of strategies that she would be able to employ with it. She still has some polishing to do with the technique but over all she was more than satisfied with where she was with it. Yuzuki was about to remove the wire when she stopped herself, she would probably find some use for this later, so she left them on and went about her business. Perhaps she would come back and play around with them a little more and see if she couldn’t evolve the ability a little more.
Yuzuki was still tinkering with her Manipulated shuriken technique when those wheels started to turn again, if she could bind her opponent with these threads, would she be able to ignite them once they were caught, the major problem with that sort of thing was that she was going to have to use some of her overkill jutsus in order to pull this off. That would probably take out her wire works too, so that would set her back some. She certainly didn’t want to risk losing her prey over something like that so she started to wonder about some other way that she could keep her opponents captured and still put them into an icky burny death… or at least a maiming. She could settle with that. She looked over at the practice area and tried to find something that wasn’t going to get set on fire and then be rendered useless. Her eyes finally fell on a tall, thin rock that she decided to turn her fiery wrath upon. She turned and face her target and spun her wire bound shuriken around her for a while till she was sure that she was getting her rhythm and then spun her shuriken around the rock, she knew that no opponent that wasn’t either paralysed, blind or rock stupid would get caught in what she threw but that was beside the point, she knew that she was going to be working on that, so for now she was content with the binding. Yuzuki closed her eyes and concentrated on what she wanted to do with this technique… she then realized that she wasn’t sure what she should be doing to make this work.
Well… this was off to a good start…
She brought the wire to her lips and started to try and formulate a plan to make this work, she rolled a few things around in her mind but so far nothing was adding up to what she was going for. It wasn’t until she thought of sending her chakra down he wire itself and igniting it either while she was pushing it down or after she got it to her intended target. But then that posed another question… how was she going to do this? She never tried anything like this before and she wasn’t sure if what she was doing would even pan out. Yuzuki remained standing the, her hands in the tiger seal and the wire held firmly between her lips. After a few minutes her shoulders dropped, she was really bad with not preparing things beforehand… but then again, how did you prepare for something that you thought of off the top of your head in the moment? Yuzuki supposed that she couldn’t beat herself up too much over it, instead, she chose to focus that annoyed energy into scratching her brain trying to figure this out. Okay, well, she could start with a few ideas that bubbled to the top of her head and then work from there. She tried a few things but unfortunately some tries were more successful than others, either paving the way to a better understanding. Yuzuki was starting to encroach on spending the better part of the day on this and she was still no closer than she was when she first started with this little task that she set herself up. She continued to pick at the ability, though she had to admit that she seemed to have hit a snag in her jutsu. There was just something that she wasn’t getting, and it seemed that the main problem was that she couldn’t bring her chakra down the wire fully and it would die off prematurely before it reached the rock that she had within her wiry grasp. Yuzuki breathed out a frustrated growl before she sat down on the spot where she stood, too frustrated to continue and too stubborn to quit. Yuzuki found herself at an impasse when it came to this jutsu so she just sat there and brooded about not being able to figure out what was going on so that she could improve it and actually make a jutsu from it. Yuzuki closed her eyes and crossed her arms under her chest, her right eyebrow twitching as she rolled through what she was doing so that hopefully she could find what she was doing wrong. Eventually she opened her eyes and paused, she was pretty sure that she may have stumbled on the answer that was eluding her.
Yuzuki stood up and brought her hands to make the signs that she needed in order to shape her chakra from her stomach, she took a few deep breaths through her nose before she exhaled a string of kneaded chakra before sending it quickly down the line of her wire, she was starting to speculate that she was far too slow sending it down the line before, and that was why it wasn’t doing what it was supposed to do. The flames would eat up the chakra far too fast and it became volatile far too soon. She had discovered that mixing her chakra with more or less chakra in ratio with the oxygen, with her experimentation she was sure that she finally got that damn combination of chakra and oxygen right, when the chakra left her lips it ignited into the spectral blue fire that lit up the darkening sky and cast eerie shadows on the trees and rocks that surrounded where Yuzuki was practicing this. She watched and continued to push the chakra down the wire as fast as she could, noting that fire was still staying strong on her end while it wrapped around the rest of the wire. Yuzuki watched as the rock that she had captured earlier started to hiss and crackle under the heat. Yuzuki stopped blowing the stream of chakra out of her lips and watched as the fire rode the wire down to the rock before it disappeared. Thoughts: And the training montage begins~! After Yuzuki had taken a break from her training for a bit, she had returned to the spot where she was previously, spinning her shuriken around while they were attached to the more flexible ninja wire. Her mind slowly drifted one way than back another until her little toy snagged on a tree branch and whipped around and planted itself firmly into the tree a few millimeters from the front of her face. Yuzuki paused, a cold sweat trickled down her face and she made a very serious mental not that Shuriken on strings were NOT toys… one would think that she would have learned from the first time that she almost took a shuriken in between her eyes pretty well doing the exact same thing. Yuzuki exhaled slowly and relaxed when she realized that she was not dead and that she was okay. Someone was looking out for her today, she would have to offer some incenses to Paw-paw for this. Yuzuki looked around, a little annoyed that it happened in the first place and when she saw the way that the wire was wrapped around the tree branch, it reminded her of when she was young and her grandpa taught her some Yo-yo tricks. Her wheels started to turn again –it was impressive how Yuzuki could turn simple things into inspiration for new jutsu- and she started to untangle her wire from the tree where she could start to experiment and improve a skill set that she had more or less just learned. She planned to use the yo-yo principle to augment and bring more depth to her Manipulated Shadow Shuriken technique. She started practicing with her angles and refreshing herself with the Yo-yo principle that she learned in the academy, she was more impressed with the fact that she actually found a use for the convoluted class more than the fact that she remembered it to begin with, her old teacher would probably be impressed with her that she was actually competent enough to use it.
That thought just made her want to accomplish this all the more.
Yuzuki started to scheme how the best way for this to work would be, in theory, she wouldn’t be able to just use this technique willy-nilly and be able to use it to catch her prey. She thought about it for a bit and realized that in order for her to make this technique work well, she would have to be able to predict the movements of those she was trying to catch with it. She paused, and after a moment of thought she realized that she could potentially pick up patterns from someone when she used her ability to evade others. After all, that was all about reading body language and using it to get out of the way of potential harm, why not reverse it and use it to your advantage? Yuzuki felt like she was at least on the right track with this as she continued on with experimenting and learning reapplying the knowledge that she already had. Yuzuki was having a little troubles with practicing catching someone with her new little trick because there was no physical body that she could try and capture, though she thought of another way that perhaps she could use in order to help catch her prey within her technique. Yuzuki paused and fiddled around for a few minutes while she attached some more wire to a few more shuriken. She figured if she had enough distraction from the more… obvious… tactics that she would be employing in order to capture whomever she desired.
Now the tricky part, using a whole bunch of stringed shuriken while knowing where they all were and where they were going at any given time. To add to this, Yuzuki decided that standing around in one spot wasn’t going to do a damn bit of good for her. Using a tree as her point of reference, she began to move around in evasive maneuvers as though someone was attacking her. She unleashed her barrage of stringed shuriken and started to apply what she was learning, while at the same time trying to improve upon her skill and learn little tricks that would aid her in her task. At first, Yuzuki wasn’t having much luck, in fact she seemed to be getting more entangled in her own technique more often than she was doing it to her target, she was starting to get a little frustrated which made her chakra act a little weird, which in turn resulted in her getting a little light headed. Maybe she didn’t allow Tsuchia enough time to properly seal the monster? Ugh, she wasn’t sure, but she took some time to cool down and try and figure out what was going wrong so that she could fix it. It took some brain storming and a few awkward moments of getting herself untangled from her wires before she seemed to have nailed her rhythm and things started to fall into place much, much better. She had learned how to better bait and switch her opponents with the technique so that she could force them to go in the direction she was hoping for. It was hard to tell if this would work well on someone, like say, Tsuchia who would have more awareness in battle than some of the lower ranks of the ninja. She supposed that the heat of battle would be a good enough distraction for her to use to her advantage, and she was sure that once her team mates got a better feeling for each other in combat that they would help her out with this technique and make sure that this would work to their advantage. Yuzuki completed wrapping up her target, planting a few of the decoy shuriken into her target as well, signifying the defeat of the imagined foe. When Yuzuki was finished she was out of breath and sweaty.
She took a deep breath and looked up at the sky, letting a cool breeze come and tussle her hair around for a moment before running away. She felt a little better now, though she still had a lot of thoughts buzzing through her head. She paused and looked down at her open palm, her eyes softened as she did so. So… what was she going to do now? Yuzuki knew that being a victim wasn’t going to get her anywhere, she had to know what exactly it meant to be a Jinchuriki and what that meant for her. She fisted her hand and lowered it to her side while she turned her gaze forwards again. Her best bet would be to try and find that boy who was the original tailed host and try and find out what was going on. What was his name again? Rei? …Something like that… Yuzuki decided that would be the best place to start, maybe that kid, as much of a jerk as he was, might be able to point her in the right direction. Yuzuki gathered her tools again then started to head into town, somebody must know where the boy was.

"You look like you have a question on your lips, Yuzuki. Care to indulge?"Tsuchia sat in a tree not far from where she had been training, just silently watching as if she was a stalker, calmly enjoying the sight of her subject. She sat with her head on one hand, her elbow on an upright knee. Her other leg was hanging off of the branch, as if she had been there for hours, simply watching with a bored expression on her face. One might mistake this position for boredom, if they didn't know the two's relationship.

Yuzuki turned towards Tsuchia with an almost startled look in her eye. How long has she been there? Yuzuki was so distracted that she didn’t even know when she had arrived… Once the initial shock was displaced Yuzuki turned her back to her sensei and bowed her head slightly. She was unsure if she should talk about this to her sensei, not because she didn’t trust her, but more out of the fact that she wasn’t sure if Tsuchia would even be of any help. But… she couldn’t keep anything away from her either, and she would likely be able learn about the questions that bubbled into her mind, causing insecurities whenever they came. ”I have too many questions, actually.” Yuzuki admitted with some level of defeat in her voice. ”I know nothing about what I am, or what this new power entails. I wanted to try and find the former host of the 8 tails and ask him why he gave it up, and then learn as much as I can about the burden that’s been placed on me.” Yuzuki turned her head and looked up over her shoulder at her sensei. ”I guess, I’m just trying to learn as much as I can about what I’ve become, and what will be expected of me. I’m just trying to prepare for what’s ahead. After that… well, I have no idea.” It was hard for her to admit that she was directionless right now, with something so new and potentially dangerous inside of her she wasn’t sure if she should even be allowed to keep it. Though if it was too much for her to handle, she could always just give it up to someone more deserving and then go on her merry way. ”Do you think you’d be able to take me to him? I think his name was Rei, or something like that…”

Tsuchia raised an eyebrow at her student. "Curious about what you now are, eh? Well I can arrange that. It's not like he's going anywhere anytime soon anyway." She raised herself from her position and leaned back, letting gravity and her weight give her momentum before grabbing the branch as she fell with her fingertips. Looking seemingly like that was her only point of contact(which it was), she flipped around the branch and flipped again in the air before landing in front of Yuzuki. Her arms shot out to balance herself before she looked up. "Word of warning though. He's a lot less stable than you are. And generally, the tailed beasts don't agree with each other unless they have to. Are you sure?"

How… many of them are there?” Yuzuki asked, not totally sure if she wanted the answer or not, after her sensei answered the question she raised her left hand and grasped her right upper arm for a moment before rubbing it. ”Tsuchia-sensei… is there a tailed beast that made out of blue fire, roughly in the shape of a nekomata? Again, Yuzuki wasn’t sure if she wanted the answer or not. Did she really face the chakra monster itself before it was placed inside of her? Did she really survive the encounter of something like that, or was it part of the genjutsu that she was under? This was almost becoming too much for her, she was almost at the point where she was going to need some time to herself in order to seriously sit down and digest everything that had gone on the past few days. Yuzuki had fallen silent, her eyes downcast and one could practically see Yuzuki worrying her lip in deep thought about the question that she was asked by her sensei. ”Honestly… I’m really not sure if I want to do this, I’m really not convinced that I want to do this or if I want to find out questions that I may not be prepared for… but… I don’t know what else I can do right now. I was just… hoping for some kind of direction for this right now. I feel kind of directionless right now and I’m not sure if it’s bad for me to just allow this to settle for me right now before I seriously look into things or if I have to get on top of this and grab the tiger by the tail… so to speak.” Yuzuki didn’t once raise her gaze toward her teacher, the former confidence that Yuzuki had was gone now, and replaced with uncertainty and hesitation. Yuzuki’s eyes narrowed softly before she seemed to take a deep breath and exhaled heavily, she closed her eyes and tilted her head back upwards to look Tsuchia directly in the face before she opened her eyes again and the firmness was back behind her eyes. ”Tsuchia-sensei, I’ll trust your judgement on this as you seem to know much more about the subject than I do. If you think it would honestly be of benefit to me I will go to the other host and see if I can get some answers from him. But if you think that it would be better for me in the long run to allow myself time to adjust to all this and let myself think about things, then I will do that. I have much to learn about this, but perhaps if I take some time I can think of a few more avenues for me to investigate.”
Yuzuki trusted the judgement of her teacher, she seemed to know what she was talking about when she talked about the tailed beasts, so if she said that visiting the other host would be of benefit, then she would go, if the opposite answer was true then she would agree to that as well. Yuzuki might not know what was going on, but that didn’t mean that she had to navigate this unknown territory along, her comrades were there and her sensei was there to guide her if she needed it. She also had her family if she needed them… spare Izumi, but that little brat wasn’t there for anyone but herself. Well, whatever, so far, it seemed she just needed to learn how to better manage the chakra, once she got that the rest should be a cakewalk, right? Then again with Yuzuki nothing was ever a cakewalk…

Tsuchia felt for her student and placed a hand on her downtrodden head. Things were truly going to be harder for her from now on. The life of a Jinchuriki was a hard one, and a permanent one. There was no getting rid of it, except by death. Not that she was planning on sharing that anytime soon. The girl had enough on her plate. "There is. The two-tailed beast is a fiery blue cat creature, a bakeneko. That's not the issue here though. I can take you to Rei, the holder of the eight tailed beast and you can speak with him if you wish." Tsuchia paused for a moment, her own voice taking a depressed tone. "Unlike anything else you've wanted to learn, this is one thing I cannot fully understand or comprehend. I know certain things, but I can't truly teach you how to control your new friend. From what I've seen of Rei however, it seems that there are just some things that the Jinchuriki and the beast they hold have to figure out together. I hate to put it this way but your either going to get along or you won't."Her tone picked up again, trying to stay positive and strong in front of her pupil. She had to give Yuzuki some confidence in whatever decision she chose. "I will help in whatever way I can, through the best of my knowledge and power. You figure out if you think meeting another Jinchuriki may help you and we'll start there."

I can either get along with the chakra monster or I can be held hostage to it and vice versa… ugh, this isn’t going to be a fun ride, is it?” Yuzuki paused for a moment, comforted by the hand that was placed on her head and the fact that her teacher was there with her during this time when she felt so lost. Yuzuki gave it a moment of thought, weighing the pros and cons of the choice that she was trying to make. Eventually she looked back up at Tsuchia. ”Let’s go back to the others, we do need to improve our synergy, especially after we didn’t get a chance to do that mission yesterday. You never know when the Raikage will call us for duty so practicing together would probably be a better benefit to me and the group collectively than going to meet someone that I could go and meet anytime. Besides… the guy was a bit of a jerk from what I remember of him and I don’t want to ruin my mood with something like that. So… I’ll go later.” Yuzuki placed her hands behind her back as she turned towards the direction that her partner in crime was, probably still nursing her mental scars from that little show that they put on earlier. She took a few steps before looking back at Tsuchia. ”Poor Kori… I hope that the scars don’t go too deep. You weren’t kidding when you said you were an aggressive date. Can I get by keys back, by the way?” Yuzuki teased her Teacher at bit, lightening her mood in the process. The Tailed beast could wait, Tsuchia made sure it wasn’t going to run around and cause chaos so she could explore things at her own pace. Right now she needed some time to digest all of this and come to her own conclusions. Ignorance was truly bliss, why ruin a good moment with truth that could be hurtful?
