"Sparrow!" Peeped out of the cat's mouth as the rope sailed through the air and roped over him, bringing his attention to his friend, tail already flicking back and forth from amusement.

Attempting to reciprocate, he raised his own rope over his head, hoping to lasso him back. That would make it interesting, wouldn't it? After a successful throw (in which he felt that his wrist was a little soft, but hey, it sailed through the air, landing over the reaper's shoulders, making him whoop in triumph, closing the gap between them.

"It seemed like a reasonable place to check out, and I'm content that I chose it, moreso now, seeing as I have someone familiar here." he offered, smirking softly as he offered to remove the rope from Sparrow.

Aksaja was considerably more interested in this class than the Famine one, and it showed on his face as he watched the demonstration. Once they had their instructions, the lightning dragon moved quickly up toward the supplies and grabbed a piece of vine. Now to tie a knot...

"Yes, I'm Aurian," the ghoul smiled, though not before doing a double-take at Sparrow. She wasn't used to people knowing who she was. At school, she had less of a presence than the wispiest ghost. This was kind of exciting, she thought with a huge grin. "I'm very glad to meet you, Sparrow."

She nodded along at the mention of Vaith. "We form teams together a lot. It's fun. Vaith is a very good boil to have along. He was even our leader for the Clan Trials! And he's a good friend." Leaders were all well and good, but Aurian would rather have a friend than a boss. Luckily, Vaith was one of her closest friends.

"Don't worry," she told Sparrow. "It took me a long time to do my knot right, too. I had to try four times." It had taken forever - or what felt like forever to someone who just wanted to join in the game that everyone else was already playing.

Fallow's ears quirked towards Aurian in amusement, and he grinned at her, his markings pulsing a vibrant neon blue. "Hello, hello." He crooned softly, shaking her and and bowing from the waist; after all, he had to demonstrate the manners he'd learned, right? It was nearly teasing though, and the Púca sprang back up only a few moments later. "I am Fallow. It is - ahh - a pleasure." Listening attentively to her description of Death, Fallow keened softly, his tail wagging uselessly around like a dogs. "It sounds very... ah, interesting. I do not think I would have done well with meditating though. I like fun, and chaos too much." he shrugged his shoulders helplessly.

"Oh," he laughed at the idea of luck, "hm, I wonder. The heir-instructor gave us charms for it. Whether they actually worked or it was just some superstition though I have no idea." he grinned toothily at Aurian then. "But at least here we do not need to worry about our luck so much as our skill it seems, hm?"

Rumbling in pleasure as Clyde joined them, Fallow cocked an ear towards the other. "Moths?" He repeated curiously. "Ahhhh, Conquest simply smelled like spices, gold, and incense." He shrugged again with a lazy grin, looking over at the two who'd been pointed out, his tail twisting around like a spectral, glowing lightbulb.

He was peacefully oblivious and bathing in the company of his newfound... ah, people, when something heavy landed around his shoulders and made him jump upwards, ears pricking and a yell emitting from his lips. Turning his head, Fallow's shock melted into a carnivorous and warm smile at the rabbit. "Meameamea." He tugged at the rope and reeled her in, catching the rabbit in a warm and possessive hug. "Hello." He huffed into her shoulder before letting go. "You should try again now." He rumbled in amusement, wiggling around in her lasso.

"Yes, I have finished." Fallow simmered with slight pride, "but I would like to see you rope in two more now. It is - ah - very fun."

"Thanks, turns out I'm better at throwing things than I am tying knots," he replied with a little shrug. He glanced around, but he didn't see anyone else that he really knew, and he didn't just want to lasso some random student... Maybe he'd hunt down that rude one. Or maybe he wouldn't, probably best if they just stayed away from one another.

"Intrigued, for one thing. I get the feeling we're going to learn how to ride... Not sure how well I'll do at that one..." He looked down at his feet, raising one up and clicking two of his talons together.

Before Mercy could get to leaving the class for today she had noticed a vine flying at her. However, it fell short of its intended target (her). She followed the vine to its user and recognized the student she had lassoed earlier.

"Nice try. Keep it up though. You'll get it." she said, a smile on her face. She waved to the ghoul (?) and quickly made her escape before she was lassoed by another student. Maybe she should have stayed though. As she was sure she would have had an interesting conversation.

"Knot tyin' comes with practice, my friend," he assured with a sympathetic grin toward the other boil. He hummed a bit thoughtfully at Julian's other observation, "Maybe! It'll be really interesting to see how some of us adapt to that," he said in a chipper tone though he did spare a glance down toward Julian's lower extremities and understood why he might have a difficult time of things if it came down to riding a horse of some sort.

"Just don't give up, that's all. You can do all the things ya set your mind to, right?" He encouraged.

Endzela clacked her beak a little in agreement to Kettil's sentiment.

He gazed around a bit, "I think I'mma go rest back at the dorms for a bit. Everyone should take care."

((Exiting for the day so I don't hold anyone up and stuff if they want responses from me and stuff. I need to lay down @_@))

There was a slight delay and she forgot to actually throw, so she twirled and went again.
