Funkmaster Biscuit Luo1304 Funkmaster Biscuit Hinote Tosatsu Village styles are unavailable to those outside of the village. So, since the village itself is locked at the moment, unless you can find someone who already knows it, you can't. Well how about the village styles of already lost villages like sound and grass? Those are already listed in personal styles so I would assume they're open. And if a style didn't list any training requirements, would you just learn the techniques to complete the stages, or what? Grass was never created here so they technically have no styles, and sound is....well very peculiar. In the sense that technically speaking, the sound kage is walking around currently doing just fine. I would assume the RPC as acting kage probably has most if not all of their styles on hand. It would however, take you ascertaining just who the shinobi is, as well as convincing them to allow you to learn their styles. The sound village in this guild operated on a whole other level of the term "shinobi," so at times finding this information would be difficult. As for personal styles, those are meant to be kept to the owner and no one else. Should they wish to teach them to another they can, otherwise the style remains an RPC specific style. However, I will say that I am working on releasing a lot of those personal styles as arcs in the future. Figure if the style exists and it's good but no one is using it, throwing it into the shinobi world with the intent of basically any RPC coming across it wouldn't be that bad. As for how training works, this is something I'm currently working on to fix. Normally speaking, you would have to learn each stage of a style at its rank with training requirements. While most styles list training requirements per stage, some seem to have faltered in this regard. I would say your best bet would be to name the specific style and perhaps PM myself so I could come up with at least the genin-chuunin training methods. Provided your RPC is a genin, that should be enough until I have actually fixed the village styles and what-not. Wouldn't the sound kage be Cobra? Or at least he was before... And there is an 'official village' style for grass, although it completely lacks any techniques. It is indeed, however you would be hard pressed to find out within actual roleplay that the character in question is the sound kage. Technically, the village was unknown to even exist up until recent events. Yeah, that was placed as sort of a "place marker" to actually re-work and complete that style in the event we actually opened the grass village and needed a complete village style.

He's a nice guy, so if you find yourself around his kage RPC and manage to charm yourself into her teaching you, you might end up with your end goal.

Problem is, I can't find his Kage RPC anywhere in the new profile forums so if she is indeed around finding her in character is gonna be pretty difficult.

It probably just slipped his mind to post it, he's pretty good about stuff like that. However, it wouldn't be THAT difficult to find the RPC. In all actuality, you are way closer than you think.

Go figure, I had been looking over profiles recently and assumed I saw yours somewhere. I guess you aren't as close as I previously assumed. Upon character creation though, you just may be.

I had put a profile into the acceptance forum but as puppeteer might not be a thing pretty soon I removed it.

Well it isn't so much that it won't be a thing, it's just being moved to custom technology. It was too much to base a complete profession off of it currently with the time it would take to actually create a standardized puppet system, so we figured letting people apply for them as customs would be easier to control.

Could someone help me with a weapon application? Its for the chakra trench knives and I need help making the elemental effects. I may end up making elemental tags to attach to the weapon

HadoKennie Could someone help me with a weapon application? Its for the chakra trench knives and I need help making the elemental effects. I may end up making elemental tags to attach to the weapon We've been trying for years to cut down on the number of custom weapons with effects for all elements, so probably not. If you're talking about Asuma's trench knives, the wind effect, as I understood it, was more a jutsu than any trait of the knives. Even if it wasn't in canon, we'd prefer if you did something like that instead.

I just remembered that there are some Jutsus that basically have the same effect I was thinking about for the basic elements

When we opened and subsequently for the two years after, you have no idea how many elemental weapon apps I had. If you look in there, at one point I got frustrated and outright told people that I'd start denying them. The reason was because everyone wanted a weapon that covered all their bases, which meant it basically had a jutsu for all their elements. In the end, you're basically just making jutsu and channeling them through your weapon. I wanna see unique weapons, not just jutsu based ones. Hell, my first weapon is a katana comprised of 1,000 senbon intricately kept in place by chakra, that can be broken apart to use the senbon via chakra strings. No jutsu techniques, just interesting.

I just wanted to give my character a different weapon that would benefit his taijutsu style and let's him go toe to toe with weapon specialists. I also planned on making the cliche boxing taijutsu style, but I've been to lazy to work on it.

I even created a few custom releases for senbon that he uses. And honestly, you probably don't have to apply for just regular trench knives, just by them in RP for an adjusted amount of gold.
