Joi opened her eyes and suddenly realized she was cuddled into Jay VERY close. Even their legs had ended up entwined with each other. She felt nervous and anxious and suddenly wondered if what she dreamt, was really a dream. Because in her dream, they'd done slightly more than just kiss a few times. (even tho she thinks the kissing that really did happen was part of the dream). She decided to play stupid on the matter and let his actions dictate to her if it was real or not. She'd pretend it ALL was just a dream.
He was merely cuddling her to keep her warm because darn it, it was friggen cold!
"Morning Sunshine." she said with a slight giggle as she stretched again and moved away from his arms, for her own comfort purposes. But it was so warm and comfortable.
Then horror struck, and it was very obvious on her face. She still had to go home.

Jay reached out and softly touched her face. "Shhhh, be still, we only kissed..." He murmured and leaned in, kissing her forehead before standing and groaning, then it struck him, she wasn't horrified by what they might have done...
... They still had to get her home...
He winced, but his back was to her so she couldn't see it.
"Alright, we better get you home before you get in any more trouble..."
He was so f--king dead...

... only kissed? What if he was just saying that to comfort her? No, she dreamt it all, it didn't happen! He kissed while she was sleeping .. or ... or ... he meant like he kissed her forhead. But ... he was acting a little more ... affectionate towards her. Please, please Guardians, don't have let him have put babies in me. Cuz... in her dream ... he did. And she enjoyed it, and she loved him very much. IT WAS ONLY A DREAM!
Sitting up, folding her legs up close to her and crossing her arms in front of her to warm up, she looked at the spot were he'd built the fire. It looked like it had gone out a little bit ago. Was cuddling keeping her that warm?
"I'm so dead." she mumbled then looked over to Jay. "It was nice knowing you..." She was feeling dire and not very hopeful.

"Twas nice knowing you too, least we won't go unkissed right?" Jay said with a weak smile, refering to the fact they had shared their first three kisses together...
He didn't know she thought it had all been just a dream...
If he had, he would have said that they must have dreamed the exact same thing...
"Here... Take my hand, I'll fly you home..."

Joi sat, deep in thought, rocking slightly back and forth. Looking up towards Jay when he offered her his hand, she shook her head. "Wait ... I don't want to go yet." she murmured. She had to sort something out first.

Jay nodded his head slowly and sat down next to her, pulling her into a loose hug. "Okay..." He murmured and brushed her arm softly, humming the Hymn of the Fae very gently for her.
After all, it was her favorite song.

With how he was acting, she really did doubt how much of her dream was real and how much wasn't. She lowered her head and leaned against him when he sat beside. "I think we need to talk first, Jay." she said softly.

Jay nodded his head. "Alright... Let's talk..." He said gently, still softly rubbing her arm and holding her close, trying to keep her warm so that she chill due to the light mountain breeze...
Was so bloody damn cold up here...

She needed to be honest and frank with him, even if she didnt' fully understand what was going on herself.
All she knew is she didn't want to go home, ever. She wanted to stay on this mountain with Jay holding her. Even if it was this cold. She didn't know she felt that way either and felt she needed to put an stop to it. Or at least, put it on pause till she could understand better.
"Jay... " she lifted her head to look at him and the moment she caught glimpse of his eyes, all was lost. That special kiss was real. Very real. Her expression softend considerably and now she yearned for another kiss.
No, I shouldn't... but ... I want to ...

Jay looked into her eyes, he held his breath.
You could take her away from here, you know places to hide... There's always your great grandfather's your dad said it's safe there, her father couldn't get you two there... He tried to hold back the urge to just tell her to trust and come with him, that he woudl take her somwhere her father couldn't touch her...
"Yes Joi?" He murmured softly, his voice low, and slightly breathy...
She made him want her so bad...

Searching his eyes, looking for answers to all her questions, Joi just gazed for a few moments, a slight curl to her lips that could have easily been mistaken for a smile. She wanted to kiss him so badly right now.
What's stopping me?
She sighed deeply, slowly creeping closer to him. Those eyes. What is it about those eyes?
Maybe just ... one ... won't ... hurt ... then ... maybe ...
She stopped rationalizing, and leaned to him, closing her eyes and pressing her lips to him. If anything, it was a goodbye kiss. So she was going to make it count, and kiss him like she was never gonna kiss him again, which in her mind, was the truth.

Jay wrapped his arms tight around her and he held her there, he never wanted to let her go again, because he knew, the moment he did, she would vanish...
It hurt so much, knowing that soon he was going to die, and leave this beautiful woman alone with no protection... He held her tight and kissed her with everything he had, his mouth opened a little even and he tried to get a little tongue action going...
He didn't know what he would say when they broke away... if they ever broke away... He just hoped it wasn't something stupid...

So THIS is what really passionate kissing is? Joi just melted against Jay, letting out a sigh into the kiss as he literally just took her breath away. It was definately one of those toe-popping, fireworks blasting, angels singing kisses. She had NO idea it could be like this.
Never ... want ... to ... go ... home ...
She forced herself to hold onto him, to not break her lips from him at all, taking in tiny bursts of air whenever the corner of her mouth broke the seal. She followed his lead, using her tongue against his.
Her heart fluttered so much she could swear it was going to burst.

Finally, more to stop himself from doing something stupid and, 'putting his babies in her', Jay pulled away, gasping for air, but not before tugging on her bottom lip, such a cute and tastey lip...
She was going to kill him, that much was certain.
Now that the kiss was over, he closed his eyes, and took a deep breath...
He waited for the hammer...

Joi's eyes remained closed and when he broke the kiss, she was panting harder than she ever had. She rested her forhead against him, just trying to catch up with those swirling thoughts and emotions. "wow."
