This cub was really wired and getting into Bodaway's words. It made the gold giant chuckle. A little bit more watching the cub trying to climb on him. Story time was meant to get Musa to calm down and sleep. It appeared to be the opposite. "Your sister didn't seem like much but getting to know her for the short time I was here, I was proved wrong. Your sister does have a playful side. Didn't seem too much into getting into trouble however. Smart brained an all. However I had to leave soon. My brother was to be expecting a cub with his mate. Had to be there. Otherwise what sort of sibling would that make me. Misae came with me just to make sure I was alright. Took the long journey back through the jungle. Confronted with problems. Hyenas were easily fought off. But, jaguars, our spotted jungle cousins. Are quite trickier. Their pelts blending in well." This cub was going to have a bunch of questions. "I returned home soon enough I was able to be there for the birth of my nephew. His cub spotted fur a duller color of mine. However as he grew it brightened. I noticed Misae starting to get rather depressed. Thought it good enough to return here. So, we headed out as fast as we could. Took us slightly longer than expected." If Abaeze returned and this cub wasn't asleep. Bodaway was afraid of getting his gold fur ripped to shreds.
Ears flicked and muscles rippled with random twitches. Tended to happen. Slightly turning his head, Soyali the his gaze drift from the warrior to the pride below. Indeed they did seem a bit tired. From what eyes could see however, one of the two was not going to be getting sleep any time soon. The brown cub which caused much trouble was acting like a hyperactive laughing hyena. Jumping about and pawing at Bodaway. Good way to bond the king thought. Story telling was one of the quickest ways to get a cub snagged to you. He knew this well. "They will hunker down at some point." Taking notice of Jawara, he too seemed as if he was about to fall over and be taken by the wonderous world of dreams. Where one could enjoy their own personal inner desires. Or the occasion when the past ones came through. Not very often. Lips pulling back in a show of teeth, the white fluffed giant set his head back down. Maybe, just maybe he'd let himself be taken. Sleep however didn't sound too appealing really. The warmth of the sun made it questioning.
Ayita kept her muzzle firmly shut as Abaeze started to question. The lioness was not going to be getting an answer. WOuld just make her more suspicious. So be it then. "Just simply a quick answer does not make it truthful. Nor does it mean I deny anything." Ayita was going to keep much to herself and that was quite obvious. "My dear friend, I do believe your brother hasn't yet drifted to sleep. Besides. Bodaway was exhausted and you appear as well." Her way of excusing herself as she stood to her paws. A smile and a flick of her tail was all she did before turning and heading the other way. Looking over her shoulder for a mere second.

[Jaguars live in South America. Leopards live in Africa.]
Musa pouted as he listened to Bodaway finish his story. It sounded like the male was rushing telling him the story. He wanted more details, not something so rushed. The cub was not on the golden lion's head and looked down at him, his vision upside down because of his position. "Aw, that wasn't a good story. The beginning sounded better." He yawned, plopping his chin on top of the male's large heard. "You're just trying to get me to go to bed. Fine, I'll go to sleep." The cub grumbled, pushing himself off the lion and landing on the floor with little difficulty. He walked over to his sleeping spot, turning around only to tell the male sternly that he wasn't taking that lousy excuse for a story. He just wouldn't believe it was the full story. "But once I've slept, you're telling me a better story."
Jawara smirked as he watched the king rest his head once more. "We all need to hunker down, including me. I'll see you later, my king, but please try to sleep." He urged the king before taking his leave. With the sun casting a bright light on the white king's fur, it made Soyali look like he was glowing himself. Jawara turned away and padded over to Misae, noticing her drowsy look. "Need help finding a place to sleep?" The sun came with intense heat, and the lioness would be cooked if she stayed out in the sunlight for too long.
Abaeze was now sure someone had caught the head huntress' eye. It might be a lion from the pride or a wandering rogue. She wasn't sure, but she knew she wanted to find out who he was before anything serious happened between him and Ayita. "Right, I'll see you later, Ayita." Her blue eyes caught the dark eyes of the head huntress, and she sent a grin her way before leaving and returning to Musa. Jawara had Misae handled as she heard him speak with her. It was nice to see the lions of the pride get along, though the lioness wasn't one to talk. She was still annoyed by Bodaway and Soyali. Only she could hold a grudge for two of the best lions in the pride, but she couldn't help it.

It was kind of funny that Musa was on top of Bodaway's head. Peering at him from atop his golden mane. Upside down and complaining. All the more showing how tired he truly was. Even more so as he continued to complain, ever now off of the gold lion. Those red eyes held in humor that would not be expressed in a laugh. Getting to his paws, the thick muscles propelled him forward. That warming sun continuing to shine down on that bright pelt. Blinding really though, not as much onces you got used to it. He appreared to glow in the dark however. Made a laugh come out even at himself. "I hear ya. I'll expect you to trouble me later." Now the open joking side of his personality was starting to uncover himself. But, the grin on his face slowly vanished. A cream colored lioness heading his way. More or less towards Musa. Moving his gaze away, Bodaway wasn't allowing himself to look at Abaeze as he passed her. She was made at him and he surely didn't wish to get snapped at for simply looking at her. On the inside though, he just wanted to go home. Wish none of that incident ever happened. This was his home now.
Misae had slowly been drifting to sleep on and off within the past few minutes. Hearing bits and pieces of the conversation between Ayita and Abaeze. However it was none of her concern. Pushing everything aside out of her mind as the rising sun warmed her light fur. Comfortable right where she was, the lioness was not really expecting anyone to approach her. Unless it was one of the two lioness before her. Eyes snapped open at the sound of a deeper voice. Surely not the calm tone of the head huntress nor the light voice of her other friend. Gold met blue and for a second there, Misae freaked. Fur rising as she fully woke and scooted back. Pupils wide with fear. It would take her a while to get back in the mindset that she was home. Seconds passed as the realization came to her that it was just Jawara. Feeling bad her head lowered as did her gaze. "S-sorry.." Contemplating the question that woke her, Misae lifted her eyes once more. "S-s-sure.."
Looking straight ahead, Ayita passed by Jawara on her way up the over looking rock. The dark warrior must have been speaking with Soyali. Green eyes looked up and watched the movement of the kind kings lungs. Well well, it appeared he had fallen asleep. No need of going up and disturbing him than. Knowing Manaba, he was in the kings inner cave slumbering away. That led the head huntress back down the stone. Passing by the other lioness with cubs. The other hunters. Warriors included as some slept. Maidens. Far off on the other side was a shaded area. Her favorite spot. Away from the others. Place her mother took her to get piece and quiet. The place held close. That was where she hid away, laid down with head on her paws. Closed eyes and actually drifted to sleep. Truly slept. Rare occurance. But a good one.

Abaeze ignored Bodaway, her feelings still getting the best of her as always. She sniffed her little brother, receiving a tired whack with his paw to her muzzle. She chuckled as she curled her body around her brother and rested her head on her paws. "Did you enjoy talking with Bodaway?" She asked with a big yawn, revealing a sharp set of teeth as she did. Staying up all day and night was tiring for the lioness. Musa nodded and snuggled close to her side. "At first his story was good...but," he gave a small yawn, cute for his size, "then he rushed it. He's afraid of you, sis. You scared him." "Good, it'll teach him not to assume things." She snorted, closing her eyes as soon as Musa's giggles died down and turned into deep, even breaths. Smiling at her brother, the lioness fell asleep and dreamed of nothing.
Jawara stepped back from the female, surprised by her sudden reaction. Since the time she left, she has become easily startled, and that wasn't a good sign, but he could tell from the look on her face she would change. "My apologies, Misae. I had no intention of scaring you." His deep voice rumbled, bowing his head as he spoke. "I know a nice spot to sleep...or you can stay here. Sorry again." He was afraid of disturbing her more than he already had. It had been rude of him to startle her like a prey animal on the savanna.

Not truly feeling comfortable near any of the other pride lions just yet Bodaway moved away from them all. Wishing really to be by his lonesome. Just yesturday when the sun first rose, Bodaway thought things were going to go quite well. Amazing. Everything would be as calm as it was when him and Misae had left over a year ago. Walking with a slow gait stride he found a nice little are towards the base. Hopping down the massive embodiement of sunshine itself roughly flopped down. A deep sigh escaping jaws. At least here Bodaway thought he wouldn't be a bother to the other lions. Would take him a bit to fully get used to everything. It did last time. Then again last time... The golden furred male didn't want to think about it. Shutting his deep red eyes. Breath slowing as he tried to set to slumber. Minutes passed and it didn't seem to be working. Insomnia. A good bit of drama always did this. Bodaway hadn't slept for two days during the time his nephew was being born. Tended to happen. This was just different.
Misae slowly got up from her crouched and scared posture. Slowly the lioness was starting to open up again. Ears and head however still low. "D-don't apologize. Please.. I know you d-didn't mean to s-scare me." Drifting her gaze elsewhere for a couple of seconds the bright gold eyes went back to Jawara. "Okay.." She took a step towards him just to show she would follow him. She'd open up quick again. Just being jumpy was a little trait she earned while being gone so long. Traveling the distance Bodaway and her had. The jungle wasn't as nice sometimes as you would think. Even a lion had to be careful. Every noise woke her. She had become extremely paranoid. At least here she was comfortable enough to sleep. It was just simply being surprised.

Jawara looked at Misae with guilty still in his heart for scaring the lioness. "Let's agree to disagree, shall we? I'll keep apologizing otherwise." He relaxed slightly once she relaxed her stance. He nodded up towards a small ledge near the other lions, but sheltered from most of the scorching heat of the safari's sun. It could fit one lion or two lionesses on it. Since Misae was still skittish around other lions or sudden noises, he couldn't tell, however it was probably both. The small ledge would be perfect for the lioness, he was sure of it. "It's a nice spot to rest." He commented as he started walking towards it, climbing up the rocks to reach the small outcropping.

Seconds passed and slowly Misae was starting to warm back up. Padding after Jawara with a good bit of interest in this aparent good resting spot. For months it had been hard to truly find a comfortable place to sleep. As good as the lioness used to be at sleeping anywhere, that changed drastically. The forest and even the beaches of Bodaway's home were just so different. Now in a familiar place, it was just a matter of getting back into familiarity of being home. "You apologize for a lot of things..." That light voice came from a parted maw. Eyes continuing to watch the dark lion. Following up rocks. Having not been the most agile lioness a year back, she was pretty good at it now. Easily propelling herself over the rocks with graceful leaps. Upper body muscles a bit toned for it. It seemed. "Do you rest up there often?" Easy question. Hard to ask. Hard to speak really. Misae was getting back into it.

Jawara chuckled about his apologizing. He did do that quite frequently when he felt he was to blame for something. It was a bad habit in certain cases. "It's best to apologize and live a conscious-free life than with regret never saying sorry." He shrugged, standing aside so the light-furred lioness could take the ledge. The sunlight made the rocks warm and inviting for a cat nap. He resisted the urge to sleep until Misae was settled in a sleeping peacefully. "Occasionally, not often though. I like sleeping here when I'm avoiding questions from nosy little cubs. Example; Musa and several other mischievous cubs." He winked, a small smile on his maw as he waited for her to take her place on the small ledge.

Ears pricked forward at the sound of laughing. Jawara was chuckling. Put a bit of a smile on her face while the male wasn't looking directly at her. "No matter what you do, you're still going to have a conscious life. Nothing you can do about that..." Misae slowed a bit more than her already short gait. Not wanting to bump into the male lion before her. Stepping to the side rather casually. Her light cream fur taking in the head of the sun. Those bright eyes followed however to where the dark figure was or had been talking about. "Bodaway pretty much has all of the cubs in a trance now. You'll be able to take a break.." Ears lowered as did her head. Moving forward she brushed against Jawara in an innocent manner. "Thank you.." A small smile was flashed before she met the ledge with paws. It didn't take long before she eventually laid down. Practically passing out on the spot. Gold eyes shutting to the light of the sun. Drifting to the dream world.

Jawara smiled, feeling the innocence when their pelts brushed, but he couldn't help feel a little different when he was around Misae. For about a year, the lioness was gone, and now she grew into a fine feline worthy of any male. "Yes, I suppose you're right, Misae. Have a restful sleep." He said quietly, taking his leave of the lioness and finding a nice spot to rest and catch up on his own sleep. Yawning loudly, the lion settled next to several other sleeping warriors his age and rested his head on his paws. He closed his eyes and entered the restful state of sleep.

It didn't seem long before gold lids slowly opened. Red meeting the bright light being emmited from the sun. The ancient light source that provided warmth, light, and life to all life forms. having a major roll in the circle of life. A slight breeze lifted a coat the color of dried plain grass on a deep sunset. With the height of the massive orb in the sky, it appeared slumbering had been a bit. Not too long however. Bodaway lifted his massive head to pull lips back in a very long yawn. Giving a bit of a gruffy growl in the process. Sleep was not going to be his friend. The male figured why not check out the Pride Lands. Doubting much had truly changed, there was however still the possibility something might have. Besides, it wasn't like anything eventful was going to happen here on Pride Rock. All Bodaway would get to look forward to was the cold shoulder from a old friend... rather possible ex-old friend. Sighing, just the thought of it depressed the gold giant. 'I got myself in a bit of trouble didn't I.' Maybe he could look forward to telling stories to Musa. Not at the moment. It seemed Abaeze was injured somehow, with how she moved. She would be here all day. And Musa was old enough to leave Pride Rock but only with an escort. Wouldn't be trust to him as a task. Growling in frustration, a paw lifted over his face and slid down as if making a human aggravated gesture. Biting his toungue he decided to go. Bodaway fully got to his paws and headed towards the tall plain grass. Glancing up at the other lions, he shook his head as deep eyes focused forward. Slowly striding off. As if contemplating staying instead.
Having gotten a good bit of sleep when the black out happened, Ayita was pretty much just petty dreaming. Imagining and thinking of things within that over clock working mind. Never stopping and never resting. Always going and going. just like the phsycial part of the huntress' body. Even in dreams she hunted for the pride. Provided for them all. It was something the lioness loved to do. It was her passion. And boy did she like it. Green eyes opened and watched out into the distance. Head still casually laying on crossed paws. Debating whether or not to get up. Thinking against it she just continued to lay there. A good expression on her tired yet beautiful face. The angles of which gave her dark colors expressions even when she wasn't showing much.

Abaeze woke to the sight of Musa's rear-end in her face. Growling quietly, she gently shoved the cub's behind away from her and stood quietly, stretching her back lazily. She looked out from their den and saw the familiar golden frame of Bodaway. The lioness knew she needed to apologize for her behavior earlier, and if she waited, like she typically did, it would ruin her relationship with the golden warrior. So, taking a deep breath, the lioness prepared herself with her talk with Bodaway. "Come on, Abaeze, you can do it. Right, I can do it." Taking a step towards the lion, then another, and another, she chased after him. "B-Bodaway?" She was off the rocks and charging towards him as quickly as her tired body would allow her.

Eyes were seriously set forward on that tall plain grass. Ears low and mind in deep thought. There wasn't a single sound that was reaching the over crowded mind. Thoughts reeling at the possibilities that the friendly status of him and the pride was ruined from that mere stupid set of words which came from his mouth. Growling Bodaway shook his head in heavy aggravation. The good mood of the cheery lion had gone down the meerkat hole in a hurry. 'I should have stayed home. Where nothing went wrong. NOTHING would have happened.' The sound of thundering paws getting closer and closer pulled the frustrated male from the inner conflict. Red eyes peered over his shoulder as his lips twitched. Who was calling his name? It took seconds to register the light framed cream colored lioness. Abaeze. What was she doing running. From what he could tell she was in no way fit to do so. Half way turning and about ready to step forward he stopped, as if to stop himself from bumping into her. His large muscular body versus her slender hunting built frame would not do so well. "Hm?" He felt unworthy of actually speaking to her. Just yet.
(Mhm)

Skidding to a stop, the lioness panted for a moment, gathering her breath, before she looked the golden giant in the face. All the words slipped from her mind as she thought of how she would apologize. This was why she waited a few days because then she knew what she was going to say. "I'm sorry about earlier today. It was rude and selfish of me to act the way I did." She placed all the blame on herself for the early morning mishap. She kept her distance from the male, keeping space in case he said something negative or tried to share the blame. She'd run back to the Rock as soon as he tried to speak.
[Bodaway is who I mean. I couldn't tell if he went into the pridelands or not.]

Those deep red eyes stared down from their height at the lioness, taking in a good amount of air after a bit of a sprint. So many words wished to come from Bodaway's own maw but would not form into true words for it was not his turn to speak. The gold giant waited patiently as Abaeze seemed to just splurt out words in a bit of a quick session. Rounded ears surrounded by a thick mane focused forward, making sure every word was caught. Letting them relax Bodaway sighed with a grin, stepping towards the lioness. Who obviously was keeping a bit of space for a reason. Knowing her, it was just incase he slipped again. Wasn't going to happen. He learned from his mistakes and took to mind whatever action he would do. Taking a few short for his size steps forward he lowered his head. Gazing straight at her face. "It's okay.." Bodaway would have gone on about it was partically his fault for assuming but knowing her and her stance, she'd leave. He didn't want that. "Nice to see you again.."
