Tenka clung to the top of the light pole and chittered angrily at Taka. ""

"Hello Khol!" Shina says cheerfully. "And yes, this is the caravan group so far. I'm guessing with Taka you don't need a bike rental." Shina glanced over at the large dog, and realized he had treed Tenka up a light pole. Tenka was making what sounded like angry comments. "Oh, oh dear. I'm not sure if it would be better to call Tenka to me, or let him stay there. He isn't actually in any danger...and I'm not sure he'd come." Shina bit her lip. "Well, I suppose our pokemon just aren't meant to make good first impressions," Shina told Khol ruefully.

Reis looked on as the Arcanine and Emolga exchanged a war of words. Heh. Jeanne looked towards Reis, tilting her head. "It's nothing."

That wasn't entirely accurate. Reis was thinking about how she was surrounded by so many kind people right now, even if they may be a facade. Her thoughts drifted to the boy she had met months earlier, one Walpurgis Night. He was like her - both harbored a distrust of the world, and both were alone in the vast reaches of this new region. Reis looked to Jeanne and smiled. Well, she wasn't alone anymore.

I wonder what he's doing now? Has he found friends? That guy...

MILES AWAY, SAXUKAI DESERT

Atop a hill of sand stood a man, his ragged green cloak waving frantically amidst the sandstorm raging around him. Devon Corp Go-Goggles protected his eye from the vicious sand. His other eye was covered by an eyeband, but the one that was viewable held a serene quality - he was at peace in the sandstorm. His mouth obscured by a black duster cloak, he sighed as a notice sounded on his Nav.

"Training time, huh."

Pulling the duster cloak higher upon his face, he whirled around, a flaming glint in his eye. A smile crept onto his face, obscured by the imposing collar.

"My favorite time."

Cetus followed quietly after the others, sinking into a hardened mundane facade. She wasn't in the mood to deal with others at the current moment (realization seemed to have stung her good), so she dallied in the back of the caravan as they swiftly moved to obtain bicycles. Algenubi was generally concerned for a change. He had never seen his owner shift moods so quickly. Maybe he'd visit him again, get some word from the wise on women. Female humans were more funnier than men, always changing moods . . . always mad. How do their mates deal with them?

(( People -- specifically Rockets -- are free to start interacting with 89585 if they wish. ))

There was a tension. There is a tension . . . She didn't like it. I don't like it . . . It frightened her to the core, the feelings she had sensed. I'm scared . . . But there was also good -- light, hope, greatness. 'm scared . . . But it seemed hopeless, there was also others. Bad ones, bad people. They were coming for her. Was there any place to run?

A Rattata momma barked at her in defense, curling its own swirl tail around its young and chattering its teeth in warning. She suddenly became frightened and scuttled away, making a swift flee into the air. There was so many hiding places, but they were still looking for her. It seemed hopeless.

"Alright everyone!" Shina called out. "We are heading to the bicycle shop, and back to the Pokemon center after that! We will be staying in town for the night, and gathering at the Pokemon center tomorrow morning to leave! Be there bright and early!" Glancing at Tenka, Shina decided to try calling the pokemon. If he didn't come, he didn't come. Shina raised an arm for him to use as a landing platform. "Tenka! Come here! Time to go!"

Tenka left off scolding the oversized dog and glanced at his trainer. He considered blowing her off, but there was no telling how long the dog would stay. He flung himself off the light pole, gliding over to land neatly on the raised arm. He stared at the human for a moment, then scurried up her arm to sit on her shoulder. It wasn't because he liked her, not even a little bit. He just wanted protection from the dog. Really.

Shina was pleasantly surprised when Tenka not only came to her call, but actually settled on her shoulder. Carefully not showing her delight, as she suspected it would only annoy the standoffish pokemon, Shina simply set out for the bike store at a brisk pace, the clop of Rasha's hooves following her.

Slender fingertips released the somewhat possessive hold on Keria’s hip as the two trainers entered into the odd supply store. It wasn’t exactly the sort of establishment that she herself would venture into however since the purple haired girl was insistent who was she to not take a look around, regardless of what the shop smelt like.

Flicking the metal loop at the corner of her mouth River folded her arms behind her back and began to pace the narrow rows of camp goods. “A deck of cards would definitely be something that would be fun, I’m afraid I don’t know too many games though. Strip poke-her is one of the few I know.” A coy grin played at the edges of her mouth as she eluded to something entirely different. Picking up a few miscellaneous items as she leisurely strolled through the store the crimson manned youth grumbled and came to a halt a few feet away from the slightly younger female trainer. Oh this was a very interesting, situation. On one hand Keria was actually considering sharing a tent with her and on the other, it wasn’t exactly fair to try and seduce the girl since she was obviously so naïve. Drawing her hand into her hair River smoothed out her long bangs then exhaled loudly through her mouth.

“I guess we should get individual tents. I might get a two person one though, just--- in case.” A faint blush crept onto her pale cheeks but she attempted to disband the fluster before the other girl could notice. “After this, where do we go? Like, I don’t even own a pokemon, I am kinda scared to head out into the wilds. Will you be my hero and keep me safe Keria-sweetie?”

PostPosted: Sun Nov 13, 2011 1:33 pm

Keria nodded picking out her tent. "That sounds good." She Rearranged her large pile of supplies so that the tent would be on the bottom before picking it up. "It shouldn't be much different then regular poker i don't know many games with them either other than go fish.

Plopping the stack on the counter with the register she grabbed a deck of cards and a backpack. She pulled out her wallet, opening it a small slip of paper with a list of camping supple fell out. "I guess I planed for this before I when to the museum." Paying for her things she started to put things into the backpack she had bought which some how manged to fit everything. "I think they said the bike shop's next." looking up she grinned at river. "Of course ill keep you safe that's want friends do! " didn't have a Pokemon either until the museum incident." She started to zip up her backpack when her elbow hit the release button on her pokeball causing the emogla she caught to appear before fleeing out of the store. Keria quickly zipped up her bag and tossed it over her shoulder before perusing the renegade rodent.

Voltron dashed quickly out of the shop somewhere out there a citizen needed his help. He quickly dashed up a light post and glided to the next one. He moved swiftly on a consent vigil for people in need or Villeins lurking about. he was aware of a human below him trying to get him to slow down. But when there where people to save you could never slow down and besides sidekicks had to keep up on their own.

Keria sighed as she ran trying to keep up with superemolga. "I'm sorry about this River i forgot his pokeball was on my belt." She had manged to catch up with the caravan but that didn't help the fact that her pokemon was still going rouge. "Please come down i need to give you a name!"

Superemolga staired at the girl for a moment before landing in front of her. <"I all ready have a name. however as a super hero cannot give out their secret identy you may call me Voltron. ....Superemolga works to.">

Keria left out a releved sigh when he came down. unfortunately she didn't speak pokemon and thus had no idea what he was saying. "You like that idea huh? I'll think of a good name for you." Voltron sighed wondering why he had chosen a side kick that couldn't understand him.

Flint quickly noved to follow the group as they moved on to the bike shop. Maya smiled a bit to herself when she saw Tenka on his trainers shoulder. Maya didn't have any real problem with her own trainer, she was just indifferent towards him. That Tauros however... she would have to force herself to reconcile with the beast, after-all he didn't seem hostile now. As the group began to move she took a running start and leapt onto Rush's back. Rush looked up at her curiously from the corner of his eye as she settled down amid his neck fur. he huffed a bit but didn't object further and just kept walking. Flint smiled faintly, glad that his Pokemon seemed to be ok with each other.

Mina, atop her Ponyta Anala, entered the city of Katarina at an easy trot, a weary but eager smile plastered to her face. The smile faded into a curious line, and then a worried frown when she noticed an exceptionally large group of reporters by the museum, the building appearing much more battered than she had last recalled.

Although she was not as timid as she had once been, she still sought shelter within the Pokémon Center. After a quick check-over to ensure Anala had not gained any new injuries since her last check-up, Mina rubbed the Ponyta's forehead reassuringly before heading inside to get her other two Pokémon healed up. It was in there that she was told of the current situation in Katarina by Nurse Joy, and it was there that she learned of the caravan trip going North.

Excited with the prospect of traveling with a large group again, she hurried out as soon as she was able and, with Anala by her side, went searching for the host of such a trip.

Shina caught sight of the bicycle shop sign and smiled. Surprisingly, Tenka appeared to have no intention of leaving her shoulder, though he was projecting indifference as obviously as he could.

Rasha walked behind her human, amused at the Emolga's antics. He didn't seem like a bad sort, and he had behaved very well with the baby Pichu. He was just a little wild, something that Rasha could see was already fading. Before too long, he would realize that Shina was actually a decent person, and maybe she could see about developing some sort of working relationship with the electric squirrel.

Kohl can't help but think, as Tenka settles on Shina's shoulder and they set off for the bike shop, that this wasn't the worst first impression the electric squirrel could have had. That practically friendly, for Taka.

Maybe she should start looking for a place to spend the night. Crashing in a park would probably be easiest. Or an alley. Put Taka up front, and noone'd skew with us. She smiles at the mental image of a half-mauled would-be pickpocket and lashes the saddlebag into Taka's harness. There are certain benefits to having a 6 foot tall ill tempered man-eater as a traveling companion.

Reis perked up at the sound of people exiting the camping store. It seemed Shina, the leader of the caravan was directing them to the bicycle shop. Reis let out a sigh. So many places she had no reason to visit. She couldn't ride a bike, and even if she could, walking would allow her to get more out of a sightseeing journey such as this one.

But still, she continued on with them. No sense in simply staying at the camping store - if she was going to be sitting outside a shop she had no interest in, it would be the one everyone else was using.

The rattata darted this way and that, expertly using it's superior agility to dodge the incoming projectiles. A bit away, a man wearing a green cloak atop a black duster was commanding his pokemon in this endeavor. A black eyeband covering one eye, his other eye had a cold glint to it, the maliciousness of a man who would do anything to get what he wanted. "Gangrel, use Iron Tail to dismantle that scrap heap!"

{I intend to.}

The rattata charged forward with great speed and intensity as it's dark violet tail took on a silver coating. With a great leap towards the training droid, Gangrel made a swift turn in mid-air, bringing the now entirely solid tail crashing down upon the droid, which sputtered and whirred before collapsing to the ground.

The man took a deep breath and smiled. "Great job, Gangrel! You totally kicked a**!" Gangrel rushed forward, his deep red eyes radiating happiness. It was always good to see his trainer happy. Sometimes he became so much like the other Rockets, the ones who systematically beat Gangrel when he was younger - sometimes even worse. And yet, Gangrel never felt the same fear as he did dealing with the other Rockets. Even as cold as the man sometimes was, he was so kind. Gangrel simply couldn't fathom why the man stayed here - he didn't fit at all. But Gangrel was taught to fight from birth, and if fighting was something he could do to make the man happy, then Gangrel was all too happy to oblige.

((I'm posting some portions as Walpurgis Night so that I may get a feel for his character whilst doing this RP as Reis. I am unsure if I will have him make an appearance here, whether as an antagonist or not - up to you guys, if you want me to. But yeah. If anyone wants to roleplay with Walpurgis, let me know. :3))

Kali was walking through the streets of Katarina for a change. She had come to the city a week earlier to restock on some supplies she had needed to continue her journey. It would be nice to see some people again after spending the past few weeks out in the wilderness.

It probably wasn't coincidence that she spotted a large group of people nearing the bike shop.

Kali paused for a moment at the sight, and then started walking toward the group. It wasn't often that this many people gathered without a reason, so she wanted to check it out. She looked to the small raichu on her shoulder. "So, Ziko, want to check this out?"

"Rai!" The raichu nodded with an excited look in his eyes before jumping down and dashing toward the group.

As she got closer, she called out, "Hey you guys! What's going on?"

Shina looked over at the trainer hailing the group. "Hello fellow traveler! We're preparing to leave on a caravan across Zatao. Do you want to join us?" she offered.

Kali reached the group and turned toward the trainer that called out to her.

"A caravan? That sounds like a lot of fun! I was planning on leaving Katarina soon anyway, and traveling with a group would be nicer than being alone for once. Anyway, my name is Kali. That raichu over there is my partner, Ziku."

---

Ziku looked in his trainer's direction when he heard his name. She was talking to one of the other humans. He gave a small greeting before continuing his look around the crowd. There were lots of humans, and he could definitely smell some other pokemon too!

Natalie followed the group, but then she realized she needed to buy camping equipment. She walked quickly to the camping supply store. Dusty's eyes flutter open then she flew up to a light pole. she didn't feel like going shopping. "Emol emolga!" She called down to her trainer to let her know she's up on the light pole. Natalie looked up and nodded to the electric type and walked into the store. She grabbed a collapsible tent, an large blanket, a pillow, and food that doesn't need to be cooked or refrigerated.

Natalie carried the items to the cashier, paid for the items, and asked for a large bag to put the stuff in. She walked out of the store and called out to her Pokemon, " Dusty! I'm done shopping!" The Emolga flew down and landed on Natalie's head. The trainer then ran up to the group.
