Blinking a few times, Wren once again noticed the exchange between Roch and Sparrow. This was the second time she noticed a exchange between the two... Roch seemed to get angry at words her reaper had said, and this seemed to be a usual thing.
Did they have history?
She would make a note to ask later... but for now she would quirk an eyebrow and poke a finger in to Sparrows side. "B-be nice!"

Alwine had no idea where she was. No idea. There was snow, and she had a feeling that non-ghostly students would find it quite cold.
After wandering around a good deal, the haunt saw lots of students surrounding a familiarly-scarfed demon and a skellyphone. Was he in trouble?
She floated over and looked down at him.
"He should be all right... he doesn't look too out-of-place in the snow," the headless haunt shrugged. "It would probably be a better idea to let him lie still. If we try to move him, he might get even more injured."
Though he was non-responsive, Alwine rested her hand on Arel's forehead. He didn't feel particularly hot, as far as a ghost could tell, so she figured that he would be just fine.
It was the others she was worried about, those who did not do well in snow.
"I'm sorry I didn't come sooner... so sorry... does anyone know where we might be?"

"Human world, somewhere in the north." While Sparrow had managed to stir the secretary, he had spent a little bit of time in between simply listening to the banter, wishing for all his worth that he was still unconscious. Unfortunately, luck seemed to always favour those who were not him.
The secretary cracked one eye open, and rolled over on to his side before sitting up, really not minding the snow at all. With a very blank expression, he took a look around, massaging his forehead. "Between you and me, this never happened okay?" They were probably talking about the little scuffle between him versus some first (and a couple of second) years.
"Well, now that you students are happy with tinkering around with my stuff, I hope you don't mind if we head back." With that, Arel reached into his oversized coat. The first signs of something not being exactly going to plan was when he came back empty-handed, and then tried his other pocket. Same results. Shaking his scarf, sweater, and finally boots, yielded the same result.
With a very slow, almost dramatic turn towards the students, the secretary stared at them with a mixture of barely concealed rage and outright panic. "Did any of you take a pendant-like object?"

"geroff", Vieve said, turning away from Tomoko. No one was going to take her new-found shiny away, not this time. Suspiciously she looked at the other girl- had she taken the pendant? What were her motives?!
As she glanced at Tomoko again she noticed the secretary had woken up, and had begun to speak. This never happened? Well... sure, if he paid her to keep the secret. She watched as he searched his pockets- exactly the same thing she'd done a while ago. Did he have more pendants in--- oh.
"It was on the floor in your office," Vieve offered helpfully, omitting details like 'it fell out of your pocket'.
"I picked it up because I thought you might need it, but then we fell through the floor and it disappeared."

Malodore frowned internally as Arel confirmed - yes, they were in the Human World yet again, just as accidentally as before... and transported once more by one of those strange pendants. Did every single pendant have the power to move from Halloween to the Human World?
"I saw no such thing, sir, but ah..." Malodore held up the tattered coat. "Does this have any significance? We found remains as well." Human remains, perhaps? The plague doctor sidled over to one of the discarded limbs and slipped it discreetly into one sleeve. For science.

Sparrow gave Wren a very innocent look.
"Why, my dear, I have no idea what you're talking about. Roch here and I are quite of the best friends."
It was a load of bull, of course, but Sparrow was enjoying tormenting the other other boil far too much to really mind that. Instead he squeezed Wren's fingers gently.
But The Secretary was stirring. "The human world?" Sparrow gasped, his mouth agape. He'd never been here before; what in Jack's name were they supposed to do now? Hastily Sparrow dropped down, offering him a hand to help him to his feet.
...which wasn't very hard, considering how short he was.
"A pendant like object?" he repeated, brows lifting in surprise. "I'm afraid I have no idea..."
He trailed off, noticing the dark haired ghoul.
"Oh. Er. Looks like she has it."

This was the Human World?
That hand he found was a human's?
....Eeeeeeew. "Uuuh, I touched one of those severed hands. Will I get infected?" Mot asked worriedly with his hand raised.

"Human world?" Alwine shivered, though it wasn't from the cold. "You mean-- no way..." She sank down to the snow and clenched fistfuls worriedly, hoping that some JOY would shoot up and prove the secretary wrong. Even Christmas was better than the human world. They were not supposed to be here.
Then, Arel spoke in a voice iced with both anger and terror. If helping clean is what got them in this mess, then Alwine wished that she had been able to ignore Arel's plight.
"I haven't seen anything like that. I was just making stacks of those papers and then I fell in the snow! I'm sorry if I was supposed to do something different-- I'm sorry..."

With Jericho back on his feet she moved towards the now awake teacher hand stuffed in her pants pockets as the cold air nipped at her. She shrugged slightly as it was confirmed that yes oh joy of joys they where in the human world once again.
"Sorry about that ahh. Everything earlier sir." She paced around in the snow slowly frowning. "I haven't seen any of those pendants. I'm guessing the same one from the last trip some of us unintentionally took to the human world." She paused, "And the one you were waving at Red a while back."

Tomoko leaned away from Vieve, her ears drooping as she gave the other ghoul a pathetic expression. Completely and totally sad-puppy face in humanoid form. She'd just wanted to help with the investigation! However, it seemed the investigation was going in a different direction as the kitsune looked over to Arel instead, her ears nearly flattening against her head completely.
"Human world..." she repeated the words with a sort of awe-struck horror, hugging one of her tails to her chest as though the idea of being in the human's world completely horrified her. Arel had dismissed it like it was nothing, but for Tomoko it was the most horrible thought in the world. She was really glad now that she'd left her ball of stars at home. If a human had picked it up, she'd have been screwed over.
Completely and totally so.
"I've only touched paper!"..... "and snow! I didn't take anything!" she spoke quietly, but there was a tone in her voice that said that if things got any worse, she'd turn hysterical. Totally and completely hysterical.

The secretary kicked over a few piles of snow as the students started babbling somewhat hysterically, half-tuning them out. Another pile of snow was overturned to reveal the same thing the students had discovered earlier: skeletal remains, and strange white-grey clothing.
"Yes-" Another failed attempt at looking for something -"You are in the Human World, and yes you will die horribly and miserably here. And yes, if you touched something you will get so infected that your hand will rot clean off your arm." The tone of voice was so flat and matter-of-fact it seemed like he was reciting yesterday's schedule of events to the Headmistress. Sure he was just the school secretary but his presence still could create damage when necessary.
Arel paused for a second to examine a particularly unusual formation of snow, before turning around to glower at the students. "So start looking for it. You know, slightly small, glowing, blue? Easily found by humming noise?" Some blank stares reinforced his growing headache, though he wasn't actually too sure he wanted to go back to picking up the pile of papers in the hallway. "The pendant warped you here, so it will warp you back. Don't touch it." OOC - Its pendant hunting time - it has to be somewhere in the snow. - Roll a 100-sided dice, please only roll once per turn. If you are the first person to roll 90 or higher, your student has managed to find it, but of course, don't let the touch it (At their own risk really)

Arel didn't have to tell Alwine twice. She started to dig around in the snow, senses alert for a humming sound. She wasn't sure what to believe or not to believe (especially with Arel's comment about the rotting), but if that pendant was going to get them home then the haunt wanted to find it. She wanted anyone to find it. She wanted to curl up in front of her haunted TV and watch her creepy videotape dolls perform their antics.
She kept on digging on her hands and feet, though it looked like the pendant wasn't anywhere near her. She wasn't too happy when she kept on digging up various pieces of once-living things.

Sammy sighed shaking her head slowly. Another hunt for a pendant. "Well at least this time we aren't vanishing while trying to cross a road over and over. No teleporting around back to start and watching humans just wander and cruise on by." She cocked her head to the side, she wasn't Shehk but maybe it was time to listen for that humming Arel mentioned....
Pointing vaguely to the side she started walking, "I think I heard something but I'm not sure..."

What?! His arm would fall off! Mot almost fell for it. Kind of. Arel seemed more annoyed than serious. Still... Mot looked at his arm with worry.
Soon, they were given a kind of order. Find a pendant? Like the one he had back then?
Mot sighed and started kicking around snow. "Roch, didn't you say you heard humming earlier?"

The secretary was becoming hysterical - a sign that was neither good, nor particularly encouraging.
Sparrow did not need any more pressing to drop down onto his knees in the snow and attempt to search for said pendant.
