*pokes the thread* LIIIIIVE! LIIIIVE!
Allo everybody. mrgreen How are all of you this Sunday evening? I'm doing pretty well! I just got off from work about an hour and a half ago, and this weekend I've decided to start working on the Christmas presents for all the guys in my family--scarves! The scarves will be made with one strand of camo-colored and one strand of black yarn held together, and knitted on HUGE needles. It is really, really fun to knit on these needles!
Oh, and G-Fire, I've crocheted the base for your fascinator. The original pattern called for using really skinny yarn, making a really long cord, and coiling it on itself and sewing it together, but I decided to crochet a circle using thick yarn instead, and I think it will be a great alternative to the cord method. I still haven't gotten to go shopping for the yarn, feathers, and chain yet, but I'm hoping I can get 'em soon! 3nodding
Anyway, I was feeling babbly today, so I thought I'd post some babbles in this thread! Feel free to ignore my talkative-ness! blaugh
Oh, and everybody come RP in the Ball Halloween event! We need lots and lots of people--the more the merrier! ^_^

I'm alive. I'm just trying to juggle the annual ball, Vetus Gaianus (the guild I own), work, JET applications, finding a job, and pleasure reading. Once I get that application in, I'll definitely have more spare time. I'm so paranoid that I'm going to mess something up, and miss my chance of going to Japan. xp I also found out that I can apply for early departure in April, so I'm going to go for that. If I find out that I'm going to be in Japan during the ball, I'll cover the graveyard shift. heart

We always need a really famous/awesome artist to donate art to the cause and to be our poster child for the auction. Yeah, I noticed that too. I was hoping that Poy would have better luck with doing an art auction. I don't think I did that good of a job last year. sweatdrop Plus, it seems like Moo is personally financing the majority of the ball. I don't want all of that responsibility on his shoulders. @Alv - Thanks! heart No offense to Poy but at least you got some people to bid! Right now the only people that have bid are Ball folks....we should have started much much lower in price and worked our way up to the current amount. To be fair, there's not much of a market for auctions right now. I'm still tying up loose ends from that second one. Every so often, I have to check to make sure that everyone is on task and that the orders are getting completed. It's kind of a pain, so I'm glad I don't have to do it this time. I am so glad I don't have to run one! I can imagine that keeping all those artists on task is like herding cats. No offense at all to your organization skills (they are very good!!) but I think Poy did quite a bit right with the thread except for starting the bid too high...not really his choice either...but we needed to start lower and work up..I think we scared off any other potential bidders with that monster bid. Yet we somehow still managed to get someone from outside the ball to bid 5 million gold. whee heart

Dude...that is amazing! I hope the auction makes tons of gold this year! ^_^
Oh, by the way, if y'all wanted to come RP in the October event, the plot stuff is all over now, but we're still keeping it open until Halloween as a relaxed roleplay, just for fun. (Hence, why I no longer have the evil eyes! blaugh ) I'd love to see y'all there! The more the merrier! 3nodding

Mmm, peanut butter! I love peanut butter on honey graham crackers! (Nutella would also be good on graham crackers too, but the only time I've had Nutella, we didn't have any graham crackers in the house. Sad face...)

So, let's think about characters! We've already said that I'm going to be a woman and that Broken is going to be a man. But, that's still kind of vague, right? I'm thinking we have a harlequin motif, and be opposites at the same time, maybe with black and white.
