DGwar No, I'm saying, my "metal bending" skills took hard work to get approved and had to be talented in, and then someone goes and makes a bloodline that can just do it because. Oh. xD It's not really "just because". And I understand that it would kinda suck, but either way, that's something reserved for masters. It would kinda suck to condemn a bloodline because someone had a similar talent first as well.

Yes, but at the same time if this gets approved I feel like I should be able to alter my skill costs if they end up with similar ones at lower costs.
Either way, this would make a much better addition, (And make more sense) As a classless bloodline, as apposed to the reverse.
On a purely critical note, I feel like there should be an energy cost to manipulate their elements. Even if it's simply E ranked energy to manipulate the element for any number of posts it is better than free manipulation. That kind of stuff gets out of hand, fast.

I don't see why not, but each move is a custom. This has no specific moves to it's name. So that would be brought up with the users I guess. I mean.... It ends up being the same exact thing.... I'd be copying and pasting this in the bloodline thread, and that's about it... We can put it under bloodlines. I don't care. o3o Well, it will be the same as manipulating your element for any other person. The only difference is the benders elements are stronger. They still have to make customs to do anything past extremely simple basics.

Just do me the favor of reposting it to the bloodlines and maybe noting that their manipulation isn't just free. As it reads. "They can control opponents elemental attacks as long as they have the same element and the bender uses the same amount of energy as the user did [Of course, that level of move has to be accessible to the bender] " Sounds like free manipulation. Also, if you would clean up some of the coding errors it would help in the long run.

Okaaay. By that I meant that they could stop or reverse their opponents elemental attacks by spending an equal amount of energy as long as they have the same element. Not like "Buhuhuhuhuh! You use fire too? I stealz ur firez!" then go on a rampage, throwing their opponents attacks out all willy nilly. XD Sorry, I didn't notice the error. xD

8/8 With an element that goes up two ranks and can cancel attacks of "the same rank"?
Uhm... denied? 8/8 Is already high, it's basically saying "+3/+3", and then you have extremely OP elemental abilities? No thx.

WIP Samurai [ Honor | Duty | Courage ] History: A very honorable class of warriors as they know the duty of battle. Going head first without the fear of death, they will bring honor to whoever they serve or to their own men. Samurais were mostly protectors of may lords and ladies and always try to bring glory and honor to their army. Later on in life they themselves become lords and ladies, thinking that to rule is the greatest honor they could bring, but if they dishonored they must either find a way to gain it back or would sacrifice their own life to regain what honor they have left, it's their way of an dishonorable discharge. The favorite of all weapons were the famed katana, the long bow and the spear.
Description: They are one of the fastest of classes, they can either wear heavy armor or light. The weapon they use mostly was the katana but in their arsenal they are also great with the long bow and the common spear. They also follow a code called Bushido which is Japanese of "Way of the Samurai" which all must obey. Some do not but this gives Samurais a meaning to hold their title. Their are 7 meanings of Bushido which are Rectitude (義 gi?), Courage (勇 yū?), Benevolence (仁 jin?), Respect (礼 rei?), Honesty (誠 makoto?), Honor (名誉 meiyo?) and Loyalty (忠義 chūgi?).
Rules for the Samurai:Your honor holds onto you, never dishonor. You are limited from range, the only range weapon you can use is the bow. You must follow the Bushido way. Never kill someone that is defenseless no matter what. It is very dishonorable. The only class that can master the katana.
Stats: +3 Speed +1 Strength
Weaknesses: Your honor is bond onto you and the chances of death are increased. Any other weapon you want to train is quite hard, +2 to any other weapon style. Can only have one Element. Cannot be used by Reapers, Animas, and Nightmares. Only range weapon you can use is the Bow.
Strengths: The fear of death is not within a samurai's which can give them an advantage when fighting. You learn Katana and Bow skills easily, -2 from posting. Katana skills are more powerful and will give you a +1 in rank Samurais wear armor to protect themselves, can use either heavy to light armor.
Learning Limits: Limited to three weapon styles Limited to one ranged style Limited to two martial Arts style
Samurai Techniques: Superior Swordsmanship- Since they're great swordsmen, they are supreme experts of the sword. By knowing you're sword, it becomes part of you're soul and every swing is quite lethal. The speed of which when wielding a katana is one rank higher but the strength remains the same. Isn't afraid to die- Dying in battle is the greatest honor anyone can have which is better in winning to some views. since you aren't afraid to die, the chances of you slowing down drops which you could hit a weak point better. Also this gives them confidence of winning as well as they only concentrate on that target and there perception is better.
Samurai Abilities:
Mediation E- Passive Description: A simple skill that lets the user mediate to regain lost energy. You regain 20 energy for each post but the first post you don't get any yet. This is a great skill to use if you are low on energy and are prepared for a fight or while in battle you are mediating and some of your allies defend you.
Kendo Stance E Description: This is a more defensive stance as the user holds onto there sword, mostly a katana in front of them. The sword should be pointed up in a slight 70 degree angel. The hilt of the sword should be near your pelvis which the position of hands should have one hand at the end of the hilt and the other position in the middle region. You must wait until they you're opponent charge right at you and with a strong parry to either the left or right you counter attack. But if the skill is stronger than the kendo stance then it can easily be overpowered.
Energy Coat E Description: By sliding your hand down the blade, a coat of white energy will cover your blade, making sharper than it is before. The coated sword can now cut through trees like butter and will give you a +1 in strength. The limit of the coating is 5 post but will also have a cool down of another 4 post until you can use again.
Instant Sword Draw D Description: The user would have to sheath their sword into there scabbard and would crouch low into a stance. There feet must be spread apart and your hand must be positioned either near the hilt or on the hilt while your other hand is holding onto the end of the scabbard. Just like the name said, after your opponent is in range you draw your sword with such speeds which could leave a lethal blow onto their enemies. The speed of which is so fast that few would even see it coming which will give you a +1 in speed for this skill only.

Ferregar Soul Stalker [ Shadowed | Cunning | Killers ] History: "They are heard of in frightening rumors and under the breath of wicked men. Tales of a man escaping justice to live in luxury only to be found hacked to pieces, and of people vanishing into thin air. They are also known as Dark Stalkers, and The Executioners to many, but the truth surrounding their kind is shrouded in mystery... something you'd expect from vigilantes and murderers that thrive in the Shadow World." -Quote from Albin Uquarian, author of Powers of The Night Soul Stalkers are an ancient breed of vengeful killers -creatures who have pledged their lives to darker things in the name of Justice. Their numbers are scarce, but that's no surprise. Throughout History, Soul Stalkers have often been mistaken as agents of The Shadows of Mau, but they could not be more different.
In truth, they are rogue entities who have willfully undergone dark and terrible rituals to further their own ends. Very rarely are any two Soul Stalkers alike except in two particular traits. At some point in their life, every Soul Stalker swore an Oath of Binding to The World of Shadow, also known as The Dark Plane. This Oath binds their soul to The Dark Plane, promising an eternity of never-ending darkness and solitude after death. The second is that Soul Stalkers are not human beings, and never have been their entire lives. Full blooded Nightmares, Anima, Werebeasts, Vestitors and Black Bloods are prime candidates to become Soul Stalkers, as are any bloodline whose origin lies in the dark and supernatural.
The true history of Soul Stalkers is enigmatic and unwritten. All that is certain about them is that while they make irreversible sacrifices, the powers they gain are as frightening and formidable as their incessant pursuit of justice or revenge. That, and once a Soul Stalker has marked a Soul for judgement, few are lucky enough to escape.
Description: They are ruthless and cunning, leaving little to no room for mercy once they have marked a Soul for consumption. They are highly disciplined, be it by their own force of will or another Soul Stalker's tutelage, and their cunning is reflected in their tactics and training. While a Soul Stalker is not inherently evil, many turn to total darkness and begin to view Humans and the other ignorant oppressors as no more than cattle whose only worth is to die in an exemplary fashion.
No matter their bloodline of origin, a Soul Stalker spends great effort and time to attune their paranormal senses to all aspects of the soul. They use their new found powers and innate skills at hunting to track their prey with ease, and then crush them with the powers of darkness or their ferocity and mercilessness in melee combat. They are brutally effective offensive support characters, but face to face with a powerful adversary they can be overpowered, and tend to linger in the dark so they might withdraw and wear down their opponent. Soul Stalkers are also less skilled at group combat than they are in one on one engagements.
Rules for Soul Stalkers: If a Soul Stalker attempts to use any shadow/darkness related ability outside of the shadows in a well-lit environment, it costs twice as much energy. If a Soul Stalker attempts to use any shadow/darkness related ability in a shadowless environment, it requires three times the energy and a d20 must be rolled. On a roll of 1-7, the ability fails as it is too bright to manifest. Any Paranormal Bloodline may develop the strength to become a Soul Stalker. Humans do not have the strength or supernatural senses required to become a Soul Stalker, and Rykros' more celestine or artificial bloodlines such as Highborne or Anima Machinae are unable to walk the path of a Soul Stalker. Soul Stalkers' personal obsessions are observed in their strength with a Chosen Weapon. Upon becoming a Soul Stalker, a character selects ONE weapon and trains incessantly with it to develop uncanny skill with the weapon. Whenever they are using this weapon actively in combat, a Soul Stalker gets a +1 bonus to their strength. Soul Stalkers DO NOT get this bonus unless they are using their Chosen Weapon. Should their Chosen Weapon be broken or rendered unusable, it takes TWO RL MONTHS and 10 paragraphs of training with the weapon for them to regain their Chosen Weapon bonus.
Stats: SPEED +2/ STRENGTH +1 (Only When Using Chosen Weapon) Weaknesses: Soul Stalkers cannot use Medium or Heavy armor Soul Stalkers' shadow manipulation abilities are limited to 50 feet in range Soul Stalkers rely heavily on their Chosen weapons, and this dependency can be exploited While Soul Stalkers are not inherently evil, the Oaths they have sworn and the rituals they've undertaken make them particularly vulnerable to spells of bright or divine light. Any Soul Stalker caught in the wake of such a spell, regardless of its rank, is blinded and disoriented for one round. Any darkness or shadow related skills in use are dispelled. Any Soul Stalker affected by such a spell that is higher than their rank is disoriented and blinded for 2 posts PLUS the difference between their rank and their opponent's Soul Stalkers lack the constitution of many melee classes Soul Stalkers' shadow and darkness related abilities are more difficult to use in well lit environments When a Soul Stalker is killed, their Soul is immediately seized by The Shadow World and sucked into its dark abyss. A dead Soul Stalker CANNOT BE RESURRECTED, REVIVED OR OTHERWISE REINCARNATED, EVEN THROUGH DIVINE MEANS, UNLESS THEIR SOUL IS RECLAIMED.
Strengths: Soul Stalkers are arguably the finest trackers in the world, capable of smelling, seeing and marking a creature's very soul. Soul Stalkers gain abilities to confuse, trap and incapacitate their quarry Soul Stalkers are masters of deception and stealth Soul Stalkers gain abilities to manipulate shadows and darkness, making their stealth abilities all the more formidable. They also develop the ability to cast shadow glyphs - traps that have different affects based on the glyph.
Soul Stalker Techniques:Hands of Darkness - Upon reaching the rank of Adept, The Dark Plane deigns the Soul Stalker worthy of its blessing, and they are given the ability to manipulate darkness and shadows. Doing so requires energy, but the potential these techniques hold for Soul Stalkers is immense.
Soul Stalker Skills:
E RANK SKILLS
Soul Sense [Rank]E SKILL TYPE: Passive A trademark skill of all Soul Stalkers, Soul Sense grants them the ability to sense all souls in their visible vicinity. Soul Sense shows a Soul Stalker each soul's distinctive characteristics -it's color, aura, size and power. At the rank of Master, Soul Sense extends to a Soul Stalker's sense of smell, and by Hero a Soul Stalker's every sense can be used to identify a soul.
Soul Mark SKILL TYPE: Active By focusing on a creature that he/she can sense in the area for 2 posts, a Soul Stalker can mark their soul, enabling the Soul Stalker to track them with ease. Once a soul is marked, a Soul Stalker can see it through walls and sense its location over great distances. By the rank of Master, a Soul Stalker needs only focus on their Mark for one post to see it anywhere on Rykros. This skill requires no energy. Only one Soul Mark is permitted at any given time, and Marking another soul while a Mark is currently active replaces the old mark with the new.
Precision Strike SKILL TYPE: Single Attack Using their agility and dexterity, a Soul Stalker makes a single surgical attack against their target. If the target is currently the Soul Stalker's Marked Soul, it does damage as if it were one rank higher.
Track SKILL TYPE: Active Like all skilled hunters, a Soul Stalker learns to track their prey based on sight, scent, smell, touch, and taste. A Soul Stalker must take one post to focus on their targets trail before they can effectively track them, and cannot do so while running until they've reached the rank of Master. If a Soul Stalker is attacked while they are tracking a target, the trial is lost and they must take another post to get back on their quarry's trail. Tracking a Marked Soul is easy for a Soul Stalker, and requires no post to pick up their trail (if they have traveled nearby).
Move Silently SKILL TYPE: Active A Soul Stalker is a skilled fighter, but most effective when he utilizes the element of surprise. By moving carefully and distributing their weight from the heel to the ball of their feet, a Soul Stalker can move without making any noise. While Moving Silently, a Soul Stalker cannot run, jump or perform any similar acrobatic feats, and when they make an attack the skill's benefits end. If a Soul Stalker has been detected, Move Silently has no effect
D RANK SKILLS
Feral Leap SKILL TYPE: Single Attack A Soul Stalker is most lethal when their target's back is exposed. When behind his enemy, a Soul Stalker can make a running leap to strike with their weapon and knock their pray off their feet. If the Soul Stalker's strike hits, their foe is knocked prone. This skill has a three post cooldown.
Dark Convictions SKILL TYPE: Active A Soul Stalker's focus on their target can be ferocious and relentless. After two rounds engaged in combat with a target, the Soul Stalker may activate Dark Convictions, making each of their attacks deal an additional rank of damage, as well as reducing their target's attacks' damage by one rank. While under Dark Convictions, all enemies beside their target deal damage as though one rank higher. If the target of Dark Convictions is the Soul Stalker's Marked Soul, it only takes one round of focus to activate. While focusing, the Soul Stalker may move and defend himself, but not attack. Dark Convictions has a 5 post cooldown.
Merciful Blow SKILL TYPE: Single Attack When lethal force isn't an option, Soul Stalkers strike to incapacitate. Using a weapon, or their bare hands, a Soul Stalker attacks a specific part of their target with the intent of dealing non-lethal force. If they strike, a Cripple Counter is marked on that limb. Once an opponent's limb has received three Cripple Counters it is considered crippled until it is healed. If an opponent's head received three Cripple Counters, they are rendered unconscious.
Glimpse into Darkness SKILL TYPE: Active While a Soul Stalker cannot manipulate darkness until he is an Adept, the divorce of his soul from Light makes his true home the Shadow World. A Soul Stalker can see into the Material plane's dark parallel through any shadow at any time. While he gazes upon the Dark Plane, he cannot attack nor can he be attacked as his body becomes intangible. While using Glimpse into Darkness, a Soul Stalker can see any creatures hiding in shadows through normal or magical means. He can also see creatures that exist on The Dark Plane and their position in regards to the Material Plane. Glimpse into Darkness can be sustained for up to 3 posts, and has no cool down.Using this skill out of cowardice (to avoid battle, escape a target etc.) is seen as treachery by the Shadow Plane, and results in the Soul Stalker being temporarily blinded for 10 posts.
Shadow Step SKILL TYPE: Useable Ability The first true power a Soul Stalker attains from its pact with the Dark Plane is also one of their most versatile. Having shunned Light from their lives, a Soul Stalker may pass freely between the Material Plane and the Shadow World by simply stepping into a shadow or dark area. While using Shadow Step, a Soul Stalker travels great distances, and has the ability to take others, willing or otherwise, along for the ride by maintaining physical contact with them. Past a single passenger, every additional traveler costs an additional 50 energy. Beings of higher rank than the Soul Stalker cannot be taken against their will via Shadow Step.
C RANK SKILLS
Frightful Decree SKILL TYPE: Active against Marked Soul - Spoken Ability A Soul Stalker is a being of often dark and terrible convictions, and when their Mark Soul can see them a Soul Stalker can cast judgement upon the Soul, and offer them as a sacrifice to the Dark Plane as punishment. They speak in the baleful language of the Dark Plane, and unless the Marked Soul succeeds on a d20 roll (15 or higher if below Soul Stalker's Rank, 10 or higher if equal to or greater rank) fear begins to grow inside of them. Every time a Soul Stalker succeeds in a post, the Marked Soul gains a Fear counter. Upon reaching 4 Fear counters, the Marked Soul is terrified of the Soul Stalker and cannot attack them. Blessings and other inspirational abilities remove fear counters one at a time. If a Marked Soul succeeds on their d20 roll, the Soul Stalker cannot make another Frightful Decree against them for 2 posts.

-Class Created by Ferregar The Class is complete except for its Skills. Future skills will be submitted to Custom Skills with the full Custom Class skeleton attached. If you would like me to provide additional information, let me know. I will be happy to. I also apologize that not all skills are present, but I feel that it is more important to have something concrete for others to review for their own purposes. SorceressJacklyn Soul Sense: when it says power, does that mean you know the soul's rank or its stats? Soul Sense refers to "power" as an assessment of their rank. It also reveals their Primary Element, and whether they are Strong or Fast (basically states which stat is higher, but provides no specifics)

You really should fix the coding, get rid of all the blank skills, and specify EXACTLY which bloodlines it can be used with. Also, I almost think you should change the name we already have a Stalker class, Soul Stalker makes it sound like a paragon path of the stalker.

DGwar You really should fix the coding, get rid of all the blank skills, and specify EXACTLY which bloodlines it can be used with. Also, I almost think you should change the name we already have a Stalker class, Soul Stalker makes it sound like a paragon path of the stalker. The current BLs we have, omitting customs I have not reviewed, that can become Soul Stalkers are listed, but Given the fact that other custom BLs will be made in the future I think Paranormal does a good job of implying what's required. I will edit in the full list of existing acceptable BLs. The coding and empty skill spaces I will clean up after the class is passed and before it's posted up. As for a new name, that makes sense... Thinking on it. I'll edit that too once the class is further reviewed. Dark Watcher, Night Prowler, Black Hand... Choices.
