Daniel kept his head down "its really confuseing, but mainly its about how my last slave before i got all of these tryed to kill me. It still haunts me because she is still alive and still trying to kill me to get the money" he said gently

Winter smiled, and looked up into his eyes, "That happened to me once, but each night I expected it. So I started thinking of something else, and it worked." She smiled because she really didn't want to press into the matter that an ex slave is trying to kill him.

Daniel nodded "i tryed that, its just no one that i like or anything else comes to mind but that" he said sadly. He took a small bite of his food "i'm scared it will actually happen some day"

Winter leaned forward and kisses his nose, "Think about being free and think about being with the one you love. It doesn't have be a person, just imagine what you want them to be like and your dreams will be happy." She whispered it soft and sweetly, but that's all she could muster to make herself speak.

Winter smiled and blushed deeply,"H-He's very nice... just a few inches taller.... treats me like no other..." She trailed off looking into his eyes gently before her eyes widened and she backed up until she fell off the side and her head it the floor.

daniel got there quickly before any bad damage was done as he held her gently "you really should be careful how you move there winter" he said gently with a smile. He then picked her up and gently placed her on the bed again.

Winter blushed and stuttered... "Sorry... I just noticed something..." She rubbed her head smiled gently...

Daniel looked at her a bit tilteing his head "and what was it that you noticed hm" he said grabbing the blanket quickly

Winter smiled a little and said gently, "Only two people have ever treated me like a regular being. You and my father. My mother hated me and tried to kill my father but only made him very ill. That's the only reason I became a slave. To help my father." She looked down and blushed as memories of her mother returned. Memories of her sister as well. Some of the fainter scars on her back began to burn a deep pain. Winter didn't show her pain.

Daniel looked at her "thats not how a mother should be at all. they should take care of the daughter and treat her like a princess" he said with a faint smile. He gently stroked her check and then sat back down in the chair

Winter laughed gently at his statement, not with trying to hurt his feeling but rather a 'not always' feel, "My mother always took a liking to my older sister. She resented me. My father loved us both I was like a slave when my mother was there. My life with her was terrible. I don't know where my sister is but my mother died sqhortly after she left my father, taking my sister with her." Winter smiled and looked at him with soft eyes, her heart unguarded and spilling everything that it has held in its depths.

Daniel looked at her gently "have you tryed to find your sisters grave or no luck" he asked gently.

A small tear came to Winters eye, and made a shiny path down her face, "My sister... is not dead. My mother is. " She shook gently not wanting to believe her sister may be dead.

Daniel wiped it away gently and then pulled his hand back "have you tryed to find your sister then and maybe get in touch with her" he asked scared he might upset her again
