Grus got one hit in before the she fell away. Her mouth dropped with the wood boards and the giant crystal was revealed. This whole thing was a negaverse plot!? She shook her head, closing her mouth. She couldn't grasp that the whole two weeks she spent at camp larkspur was all for the forces of chaos. It all seemed so innocent...
She was angry. The fact that she had been tricked for so long made it clear how inexperienced as a senshi she was. She realized how little she knew about the negaverse and with that realization, her anger grew.
When she had reached a boiling point and couldn't take it anymore, she lifted her foot and shot a kick toward the crystal. It couldn't fight back at least.

Mica was pleased to have stopped the rock, though she was more interested in stopping the Senshi entirely. She was preparing to charge towards the Senshi when suddenly her nice, trusty, wooden cane turned into a fricken toy! And inflatable toy!
Holding the toy away from her and eyeing it with disgust, Mica quickly banished it to her subspace. Hopefully it would be back to its normal state by the time she summoned it again. In the mean time, she had to focus on the fight at hand. That Senshi was throwing another rock, so Mica tried to block it, this time running towards Maenalus to punch her once she got in range.

chimarii Unfortunately for Talia, her shout to all the people she at least somewhat knew was lost in the hysteria and the crowd. Talia had stayed hidden for a little while, beneath a bush nearby. To be honest, Talia was scared. This whole senshi thing was neat, but it was so scary! She watched some of the senshi hitting things or getting hit and she wasn't quite sure how much she wanted to participate.
Still, she kept reminding herself it was just a game. After the walls of the shed fell down though, she knew she couldn't just stand still and watch. She had to help!
Awkwardly, she came out from behind the bushes and snuck in somewhere close to the crystal. ********* had said to shout something ... what was it? Oh yeah!
With her fingers pointed, Talia said, "Draconis Breath of Flame!" From there, she simply breathed in and out towards her fingers, sending a row of flamey goodness towards the crystal. That ought to help right?
She panted a little from the effort of her attack. Talia was still new to this senshi thing, and wasn't quite accustomed to the toll her powers took. Gazing around the clearing, she realized a lot of people were fighting with each other. With a shout, she called out to anyone who might listen. "Are you guys okay? Do you need help?" Awkward much, Talia? ((forgot to roll~))

Lt. Zippeite knew he shouldn't have pushed his luck. As he stumbled forward from his forceful miss, he opened his eyes just in time to see Babylon punch him in the gut half a second before the shock if it allowed him to actually feel it.
His butt hit the ground as both hands moved to hold his midsection, and to add insult to injury, he looked up to see the jerk holding his goddamn weapon! As the pain from the uppercut started to sink in, Zip just got angry. He narrowed his eyes and sent the toy to subspace. At least then he wouldn't be beaten with his own lightsaber. Taking the opportunity while he was on the ground, he made a move to kick Babylon as he scuttled back to his feet in the hopes of fleeing, if anything, closer to the crystal. He was good at fleeing.

"Ack," Zirconia's eyes bulged as she was squeezed, her front legs already flopping out in a weird pushed up position started flailing around a little. "Honey, kitty's gotta breathe," She wheezed.
When Hug-Bell asked for suggestions, she was honestly stumped. She could probably shoot the nega stuck to Polaris and stun her, but the odds of not hitting Polaris were slim and she had already had a fatal mishap with her aiming for the day. Besides, Niflhel seemed to be handling it. Sort of.
"Throw stuff at the crystal?" She guessed before quickly adding "Not, you know, me, but something!"

In the world that currently was darkened and only had a small spot on the ground left in it, there was a light in the dark world. It was a familiar voice, followed by a touch on her shoulder and a rather large squeal from the senshi of sleep. She turned around and was greeted with familiar hair, followed by a familiar face. It was Sailor Chibi Hygiea. Her eyes fell on the other child, and her hands reached out, grabbing onto her lightly.
"Cora's gone. I can't find her anywhere," she managed to reply, fairly close to the brink of tears as she tried to imagine where the cat could possibly be. Obviously where the cat was at had taken priority in the child's mind to anything that could possibly be happening in the area, even a shiny crystal where a shed used to be. Would the orange haired girl remember her cat? Could the orange haired chibi help the child move? "I thought she'd be around here, somewhere, but she's not."
Her orange haired friend had brought a friend though and Sailor Chibi Hypnos' eyes shifted towards Sailor Chibi Egeria. It was someone she'd never met before and meeting new people always brought a tiny smile to her face, a tiny one. Her lips were pursed in a small pout as it fell on the spot between the smile and the frown, but her eyes had a small glimmer of home in them.
"I-I'm Sailor Chibi Hypnos," she greeted softly, making a small bow as she tried not to mumble. "Have you seen a pretty kitty with a light cream coat and a golden star on her head?" Her eyes begged for the other two children to say they had, to relieve her of the pain and concern she had for Cora's safety. She had to find her, she just had to find her before camp was over.

The name that Hypnos mention didn't strike any bells to Hygiea. She looked to the now arrived Egeria - oh yeah, she had kind of ditched her huh, whoops! - for any recognition and then back at the pale haired girl.
The description though, "Oh!" Her eyes lit up for a moment as she unintentionally squeezed Hypnos' shoulder. "The cat I healed that one time, I know who you're talking about now." But had she seen her? Not really, she frowned. And frowned deeper seeing the distress on her friend's face, this was totally not going well for her and Hygiea felt it in her to cheer the other girl up.
"We'll find her!" Hygiea said in a nasally determined voice, followed by a very matter-of-fact nod. There was a fire in those orange eyes, "we'll kick that crystal's a** and totally go look for her. Hell, maybe the crystal has something to do with why she's missing!" It was an idea after all and Hygiea couldn't help but try to pull Hypnos along.
"And maybe ********* can help, maybe the cats have ways to find one another!" She also offered. God, that would be awesome, then ********* could show her all the other awesome cats with stars on their heads afterwards!
While trying to lead the chibi senshi of sleep, she turned to Egeria with a smile, "come on!"

The stupid crystal didn't break with her kick. It mocked her with a faint humming sound, as if it were a small dull bell. She growled angrily and kicked it again, with more force this time. If she had to launch herself at it full force in order for the dark energy sucking crystal to break, she would.
That was until she heard a voice from the past. She whipped around, hearing Mica. Her eyes narrowed as the black clad General ran into view, chasing down a senshi she didn't recognize. It was the negaverse agent that she had fought a few months back. The memories were painful to recall, the man's lifeless face staring up at her with cold eyes still haunted her dreams some nights...
Now would be her revenge. She didn't want to fight the girl. Heck, she didn't want to fight anyone. She just wanted to keep kicking that stupid crystal. But if Grus kept running away from people, kept avoiding battles she knew she would have to face, she would never be a senshi. She needed to push past her limits.
She ran at Lt. Mica, pulling her arm back and aiming for her back, which was faced toward her.

It only took a few minutes to race to the baseball field, fumble with the lock to the equipment shed and grab five bats and hurry back. He would have grabbed more, but he didn't want to accidentally arm the other side with a strong, blunt weapon.
Ganymede already had his bat by this point since he'd come with him, so now it was just a matter of finding the other two. It didn't take too long to spot them by the crystal, still attacking it. "Maenalus! Catch!" he called to her, although he made sure there wasn't anyone in the way, and made sure it wouldn't be intercepted by someone else. That bat was for Maenalus's hands only. And now, "Babylon!" he called, doing the same thing and tossing it to the other knight.
The last two in his hands weren't both for him, and it took him a while to spot who the last one was for. "Hey kid," he called to Ixion, really hoping it wasn't his younger brother in costume, offering him a bat to take as well. "Nice throw earlier," he said quickly, having seen him peg Painite in he face with the chunk of coal. "How's your swing?"
If the boy didn't take the bat for whatever reason, Valhalla would just keep it with him, still not wanting the opportunity to arm the negaverse officers, who were already fighting with dangerous weapons. If he did then he'd only have one bat for himself, and regardless, Valhalla ran forward to give a strong swing of the bat against the crystal.
It was around that time that he actually noticed the fluffy purple cat, and with a small frown he called over, "Doing something useful, cat? Like not getting killed??" Sorry, he was still a little bitter that Zirconia had taken over the body of his best friend.

The incoming damage was too much. Carnelian felt something seeping from the crystal and turned around, looking down at his hands. He felt... powerful? Green eyes blinked in confusion and he saw another Negaverse agent run towards the crystal. The last thing the young man wanted was to be ganged up on. He knew picking a target out in the field would practically be a death sentence. Sighing, he gave up some more ground to the incoming senshi and did his best to protect the crystal.
Where the hell was his backup?!
Hopefully Zippeite would stay near here and maybe... flail... and hit some senshi... and be useful. Carnelian sighed. Why on earth did he think coming to came was a good idea? The senshi even had children (which were, admittedly, adorable, but he couldn't show weakness now!) on their side. What kind of a war was this? The corrupted senshi braced himself. He couldn't let them through!

Ganymede was a bit perturbed that Valhalla seemed to be taking over the baseball bat operation, and would have accused him of trying to steal all the glory for himself if he didn’t already know that it was his boyfriend, and it was more likely that Chris thought he was being a gentleman by taking the responsibility onto himself. That didn’t stop him from feeling a bit useless. He thought he’d been doing good so far, but for the most part he’d just been babysitting the knights and keeping the children out of the way.
He grabbed his own bat before Val could do it for him, giving him a look that said “I can do this myself, thanks.” Normally, he wouldn’t mind having Chris do things for him, but this was Valhalla and they were in the midst of a war. He was tired of feeling worthless. He didn’t mind having someone there to watch his back, but he would at least like to feel as if he could handle things after four months of trying and failing.
He returned with Valhalla to the destroyed tool shed and allowed the knight to pass out all the other bats on his own. While Val was busy doing that, Ganymede approached the crystal with bat at hand and began to take out some pent up aggression on the damned thing with a few mighty whacks and loud ‘ping-ping-ping’s against its surface, muttering things like “Stupid… idiot… ruining camp… hate you… crazy piece of-… ruining my life…” under his breath all the while.

Arsinoe's attack hadn't done much but it hardly seemed to matter when the other senshi finally broke the door revealing the crystal that the Negaverse were trying to protect. Had they really thought no one would notice all this? Did they really think they'd have been allowed to get away with it after the children died?
Clenching his teeth he jumped from his rooftop perch and launched himself toward his target. Carnelian was not going to get away from him. How could a senshi let themselves be tainted like that? He had met one of their kind before who had even been so corrupted that he'd been convinced he was on the right side. How could this one not see what he was doing?
Ducking past a few of the others he reached out to grab the corrupt senshi by the arm to drag him away from the crystal.

Maenalus had only gotten through throwing the rock when she saw Mica, the officer who had blocked her last attack, coming straight towards her, fists up and ready. She was caught off guard, but it was her lucky day when Valhalla reappeared just in time with a baseball bat. "Ah, thank you so much!" The senshi graciously accepted the bat and took a hitting stance so she could swing at Mica. If the lieutenant got any closer they'd probably both hit each other. Scratch that, Maenalus swung and whiffed and earned a good punch to the jaw for her trouble. Strike one.
Sailor Maenalus reeled backwards but again raised the bat behind her, convinced that if Mica came at her a second time, that she would get a clean hit. But when she saw the blonde senshi, Grus, running towards the Nega from behind, she figured to keep Mica's attention on her so the other senshi could launch an attack.

She'd been lucky before, dumb lucky. But Sassolite was a smart cookie. As the arrow jammed further into her side Polaris couldn't hold back the scream of pain. She was able to cut it off as she clamped her teeth together, but the pain was obvious in her eyes.
Blows were being thrown back and forth, a messy and ridiculous skirmish as the two girls tried to beat the crap out of each other. Polaris almost sighed with relief as she felt her powers weaken and the tug between the girls disappear. Her grip on Sassolite's hair loosened and let go, so that she could try to push herself up and away. She was thankful to see Niflhel.. and all the cats, everyone who had come to her aid whether it was physically or just in verbal reinforcement. And she staggered up, arm curled protectively in front of her wound. Sassolite would get away if they took too long. "Maybe we can break her bow? She'd just teleport away if we tried to tie her up"
Sailor Juno was amid all the chaos going on near the crystal. But while others scuffled with each other, she focused simply on the crystal at least for the time being. If someone tried to stop her she'd deal with it, but as long as everyone else was more busy she was happy to beat the crystaline structure. Her first hit had been so square on it deserved another one!! Putting her hands together in a volleyball styled joined fist she jumped up high, bringing her fists back down at the crystal.
