There was something wrong. There were new presences, and even one that had just left the arena floor. They weren't beings of this underworld; nay, they were from Heaven. Kain and Avery had obviously missed out during their hiding, or rather while Kain was unconscious. What had happened? How long were they out of the fight? Where did these other beings come from? There was too much to assess so quickly, and Oni was obviously aiming his aggression towards them - possibly for interfering in their combat, or wounding him during the upheaval, and thus Oni judged them as an enemy. Right now, Kain couldn't quite decide what was going on - especially with Oni having a mental state that imitated someone who had lost their mind.

They had gotten what they wanted - a high rank, and now they could begin their preparations in order to become better and stronger, to rise above all their opposition, but they also had a duty because of said rank. Obviously the one whom left the arena was fighting against Oni before they interrupted, and therefore Kain could only assume that the visitors were a threat, and their target was most likely Oni himself. At the same time, Oni was too bonkers to provide practical protection, and was obviously not in a state to provide leadership. Or was he?

Nyet; for now Kain's only option was to protect not only himself against Oni, but Oni from the intruders. Of course, the visitors did seem to be ignored by all the demons surrounding them. For now he would have to wait. With that thought, all of the moving crystal debris came to a complete halt - leaving Kain surrounding by small and large chunks of the crystal with even larger chunks and mounds of rubble laying about the arena. Besides, it would most likely be better if the visitors did not have the chance to see any of their powers; otherwise they lost the benefits of surprise.

For now, Kain and Avery would have to stay silent and non-aggressive; or at least until he could figure out what their next action should be.

User ImageAs Negi flew over the arena just after the crystals would fly out just barely missing the dragon. As a sign to Oni he would roar, he would begin to fly down into the arena. As he roared, Negi would revert back to his human form. He would be human within seconds and would hold a hand out and mutter. “Scythe” as he said that word a scythe would appear in his right hand, it would materialize at that moment. Flipping in mid-air so he wouldn’t land on his head, using his power over wind he would use it to stabilize his landing. He would be about ten feet away from Oni, the summoner would look at his brother. “Long time no see brother.” He would flip his scythe to where its blade was behind him. He would look around and would look for the group he saw in Kal’s monitor, but would quickly turn back towards Oni. “I know you don’t feel like hearing this from me, but there are people here you need to worry about.” He hoped his brother would listen to him, and he wouldn’t start to take a swing at him to start another fight. Negi could see that Oni was in his second tiger form, so he must have been in the need for defense. The summoner was simply observing what his brother was going through.

"No, this wasn't what I needed at all."

Lucas would state, looking to his comrade a moment before setting his gaze back to Oni.

It wouldn't take long for the other two warriors int he arena to decide on a course of action. It looked like Kain and Avery would choose to fight with Oni instead of against him. It was quite honestly and an option he saw becoming less and less available to him as time went on. And then, Lucas raised his brow, surprised and further concerned as Negi joined his brother!

"Ki, Raven. Stay here..."
Lucas took a deep breath, unsure if his own actions would change the course of things but he would have to try. So jumping off the side of the railings, Lucas would descend into the Arena! One by one, the demons watching would realize the cause of such a "holy stench"! Blood lust would no doubt put a suffocating haze over the Arena yet Lucas stood confidently as he could show no signs of weakness now.

"Oni Ukia, Negi Ukia!"
Lucas raised his left hand out, attempting to peacefully call out to the Demons.

"Listen, I am Lucas, the Commander of all Heavenly forces and the realm itself! I need to talk to you Oni about a very important matter! This wasn't how I wanted to approach you! Can we all be at peace?!"

He'd plead, his eyes taking in the potential four opponents he may have just made, not counting the multitudes of demonic entities surrounding him.

The Gorgon sat alone in contemplation. A single porcelain cup sat unequivocal upon the sparkling table. Before her arrival, it had most certainly been wiped clean by the attendants of said bar. It was a nice place despite the clientele. Ruffians, scoundrels, drunkards and the like were not her most favored group of people, however, something led her to seek out the company of strangers. An inexplicable need and desire to be amongst their... deplorable ways. Demons and the like were not always all that bad.

In the years since her arrival, they grew to be more like family. The kind you don't invite over for dinner but once a year. She had not stopped to make friends, avoided it much like it was the plague, but never once did she disown Hell and its minions. Desdemonia was waiting for he who had placed this curse upon her, to join her in hell. The bar was the best place to keep tabs on his condition, which had to be worsening by the minute. He was much older than she after all. Mortals did not have the longest life spans after all.

Once he did arrive there would such an exciting and public execution at whatever punishment her Lord saw fit. Even if her skin were to be stripped from her bones, it wouldn't matter, all completely worth it. As long as she could watch the life from his eyes safe, suffer again and again and over again. An eternity of pain was a blessing in exchange. Desdemonia looked over at one of the bartenders who she had come to know quite well, he shook his head in her direction and she knew another day would pass, without her revenge.

Desdemonia reached for her cup, before it found its way into her grasp, the hot liquid therein spilled out as a lanky arm knocked it aside. She turned her head slightly, but it was difficult to see anyone with her eyes. Nearly blind and only able to see large shapes, even in the dark lighting it was nearing impossible. The two figures turned towards Desdemonia in shock, only to be relieved of whom it was they had disturbed.

"You will be replenishing my glass, sir."

The hulking creature looked down at the gorgon, his eyes searching for any sign of unbeatable strength and found none. A dire mistake.

"You knocked your own glass over, blind fool."

"I can smell your foul stench all over my glass, you may replace that as well."

"You calling me a liar?" The creature placed his hands gently on the table, Desdemonia could feel the shift in weight, his appendage having disturbed the air flow so perfectly as to pin point exactly where he had placed his hand.

"I would much rather you replace my glass sir. It would be foolish not too."

The pair snickered to one another, and just as the creature closest to the table turned towards the gorgon, she reached up into her hair and retrieved her hair pin, which was sharpened to a fine point at the end, and drove it straight into the other demon's hand. With a flick of her wrist, Desdemonia twisted the blade in circles, leaving a deeper wound. The creature only let out a small gasp of pain, and Desdemonia laughed. "Demons crying like babies? Pathetic." After removing her blade from his hand, she wiped it off on her napkin and placed it back into her hair. What happened to the creatures thereafter, was beyond her. It was in her speculation that the bar owners offered them looks of disapproval. She heard faint footsteps and turned slightly towards the smell of warm tea and tonic.

However, it was quiet again. And that is what she preferred.

Now the adrenaline was kicking in.

The fibers of Raven's being screamed not to listen to Lucas. The knuckles, bearing the intense pressure along the hilt of her sword was stark white. As her subordinate addressed himself, most eyes turned. Personally, Raven hated those eyes. They were Demon eyes, and any pair of them could choose to leap out and attack the very man she was personally assigned to look after.

The lithe of her form changed with the stance, a fluid, graceful shift of weight. The boots shoulder length apart, Raven's sword hand remained upon the hilt. The toned muscles of her abdomen and calves were taught with anxiety and anticipation; Raven leaned forward, throwing off the visual favoring left, right, or backwards. Any Demon who dared to notice would realize that Raven's physical form seemed fuzzy and hazy. It seemed as though Raven herself was fading out of focus, an unseen hand changing the clarity of her image.

"Cold Boot: Project: K.A.N.Z.A.K.I."

Though the almond shape of her eyes were an oddity with the dull green irises, and flecks of honey-gold dispersed among the cones and rods, the visual Raven received distorted and changed as the cybernetic link booted itself up. A topographic map appeared, falling back onto the userface screen and resizing itself to leave room on the rest of the screen on the left side. Several blue dots appeared, dispersed in the sectioned off location of the Arena. Raven knew this kept track of those Archived in Heaven's Realm. Only a single red dot manifested, the only denizen of Hell she had Archived, Oni.

A menu appeared, and Raven scrolled to access the K.A.N.Z.A.K.I. Combat Protocol. She left the program running on Standby, the only option that allowed the Biological part of her body to coexist with the supercomputer that initiated all K.A.N.Z.A.K.I. Sequences. She did not yet want to be reduced to a mindless killing machine. Now the backdrop changed again, the screen giving way to the visual she had seen prior to accessing the computer. If she locked onto a visual, the cones and rods singled out what she looked to, illuminating that entity in red. As her gaze jumped, she focused to certain individuals, mentally calculating her next move.

a Brother? More Enemys? This was Getting Good, Ki Would Take a Breath since he was out of it, Before Leaping back in, But Light told him to wait, As Annoying as it is to Wait, He'd Listen to His Buddy, Not wanting to Stir up more Trouble, He'd Look at Raven Starting to get the Bug as a Sweat drop Would appear on Ki's Face

"I Think she's more Battle Hungry then i am at times, I've Created a Monster"

Ki Would Pant as he Sits down next to Raven and Poke her side twice Looking at her still Breathing Pretty heavy, Ki's Assault took alot out of him. As he Places his Sword to the Side.

"I like Brawling more then anyone else, But let's Have Lacus handle this. He is our Boss man ya know."

It Was Quite Rare for Ki to wanna stand down Rarer still knowing Oni's Strength was around the Corner, The Black and blue mark Along Ki's Knee could almost reach his Thigh as he Rested while he had the chance.

Raven grinned, unrelenting from her stance, "Someone's gotta save his rear end when the going gets tough. That's when I get going--and fast." She stood still, statuesque despite her petite form. To the naked eye, she still appeared as though she were fuzzy, unclear--only to turn around and remain solid and unmoving. The transition was certainly her doing, and certainly looked odd if one payed attention long enough to witness it. What did it mean?

"During OXY training...we had to guard a vial of liquid. It did not matter what it is. What it did. Or who wanted it. We protected it at all cost. We had to stand through the most ridiculous environments. After so long, you forget the rest of the world exists save you, your opponent, and that vial. Right now, Lucas is that vial." Raven fell silent for a moment, her intent on Lucas. How long had they known each other? Still the man was unpredictable. And then she added thoughtfully, "I'm proud of you for meeting Oni like that head on. It's an honor to fight alongside someone so brave."

Oni would stop about five feet away from Kain and Avery and just smirk. "Your both on standby do not act unless another from their group attacks. Once I put that mutt in his place all of this will be over." Turning around Oni would hear his brother roar and would only laugh. It really was turning into a party in the arena. "As you can see brother your a little late. Our guests are from Heaven, one being the Leader of Heaven, Lucas. I didn't catch the names of the others last time we met, but then again the last time the situation was very awkward."

When Lucas himself jumped into the arena Oni would almost lose it. "As I told your pet, if you wanted to talk interrupting a testing session was the wrong way to go about it. Now then, why don't you get back in the crowd and send that mutt back in here. I'm not finished with him yet." Oni would quickly shift his attention to his brother with a far more serious look on his face this time around. "Negi, you are not to act unless another member of their group does. If you do, I will treat you like an enemy. Since you aren't part of Hell's army any longer you don't have to listen to what I say, but know the consequences of acting on your own around me."

Oni wasn't ready to stop fighting and start talking, not yet. He had just shown a fraction of what he could do and was now ready to show the rest. His fight with Ki had just begun, and Oni was ready to take him seriously. Of course if anyone else were to attack him other than Ki, Oni would show his final level of power that he still had in reserve.

Lucas listened to Oni, lowering his arm as he spoke. He'd also take the time to think over if letting Ki try to finish what he started was a good idea or not.

"I did not mean for him to interrupt. But I see this won't be resolved with words..."

Lucas looked up to Kira, uncertain if letting him go back down to face Oni was a good idea or not. But Lucas didn't feel that fighting Oni personally was a wise decision at the moment. Although Lucas would not deny wanting to fight Oni. Now was just not the time, nor was it his fight.

"Ki. You're going to have to finish what you started, friend."

He'd look back to Oni once before leaping up to grab onto the Arena railings. He'd hurtle himself back over and stand next to his comrades.

"Make it a good one, Ki. I cannot help you."

Ki would Look to Oni and Listen to What he said. Mutt? Mutt? Man this fur ball had a way with words as He Watched Lacus return with his Allies, Ki would Look up and sigh as he'd glare back toward's Oni. Picking his Sword back up he'd Stand up slowly and Sigh as he knew he got over Zealous.

"You Know One of These Days i will Really Learn how not to get in trouble. I Blame Alettna for Her Temper rubbing off on me."

Ki Would Leap down off the Stands and Back into the Ground of the Arena as it's Footing was Rough. Ki Would Take his Left hand and Remove his Top Gear revealing countless Scars as he needed to be as light as could be. His Right hand Tightened on Razorda as he Put it over his right Shoulder. His Eye's Focusing on Oni as he Bears his Teeth Slightly, The human Like Ki Showing his Wolf Side.

"Alright, So my Blood Line was Raging at me cause let's Face it, Im a Dog, Your a Cat, But highly doubt you care, So. Lets Go."

Ki's Sword would Light Aflame again, As he Eye's the 2 Summons With Oni. He'd Lower his sword and Place the flat part of the Blade to his Left hip and Dash forward. his Arms were still bandaged. When he got about 8 feet from Oni. He'd Take a Step with his Right Foot and Slash from the hip. However when the Blade would Get extended he'd turn with the slash and bring from over his Left Shoulder almost Creating an X Slash of Sorts. However the Blade it's Self would Try to Connect with Oni, But the Wave of Fire Would Fly to Both of the summons, Attempting to damage both at the Same time.

Ki's Left hand was Free and was On fire however would Glow an Odd Orange from the normal Yellow and Red. And a Slight Vortex would Surround his Sword. He Was Still Testing the Waters. But that wouldn't Last much Longer.

As Ki charged at Oni, the summoner would only do one thing. Lower his guard and let his scythe rest on the ground. As Ki slashed at him Oni didn't move, didn't falter, didn't blink. Both slashes would hit full force, but there was no blood. It seemed all Ki managed to do was uproot some of Oni's fur. But how was this possible? The blade made full contact. As the fur in the air fell to the ground, before the aura would cause it to grow back, there would be a spilt second where brown dragon scales could be seen behind the fur. Oni had transformed into his hybrid form while walking towards Kain and Avery, that is why he seemed to get even larger for no reason.

As for Nishi and Asa? Neither of them bothered dodging the waves of fire. They were spirits after all, and neither of them offensive. The waves of fire would pass through them, leaving them unharmed. Aside from the aura each was giving to Oni neither of them would be doing much of anything else.

Now that Ki knew just what it was he was dealing with, Oni decided it was his turn to act. The summoner would pull back his right arm and form a fist, getting ready to throw a punch. If Ki actually focused on Oni's fist he was about to find out why Oni was so dangerous. While Oni bluffed with the punch facade his tail would actually fly towards Ki's right thigh, the scales at the end of the tail forming a very sharp and dangerous point. If Ki was so easily distracted by Oni's fist his leg was sure to suffer for it.
PostPosted: Fri Aug 05, 2011 9:01 pm

Ki would just be confused as hell, Blade would cleave Oni and Do the Damage, He Felt the Flash on the Blade until a Sudden Stop, And a Shine from a form of Scales, Dragon...? Ki Was Worried, Seeing Oni Pull his Fist back Ki Would take a few steps back and out of the corner of his eye's would see his Tail, and as the Tail Would Grow the Point Ki was out of stance. But He'd React faster then he would then and use his Forearm to bat the Tail away, However normally this would bruse or cut a normal persons arm apart, however the Bandages would fly off being cut to show Ki's Arm's Covered in Azure Dragon Scales.

"You're Not the Only one with some Secret's, Even Lacus Never Seen this, Lets have some FUN!"

Ki would Roar As His body started to Change into the Were-Wolf that he Was however instead of Fur Growing around his Body, The Scales would Spread around his Body Rapidly, During the Change, He'd Swing his Sword With the Wolf and Dragon's Strength, The Best way to Beat a Dragon, is to be a Dragon, Kira's Azure Dragon Wolf Was Showing it's Self. The Blade's Wind that Surrounded it Would Have Little Orb's Floating around it, As the Lightning and Fire would Mix together. The Slash would Cleave from Ki's Right Side to Cut Along the Lower Left to the Upper Right of Oni's Body, And if that Connects the Orbs Would Explode Rapidly. During the Swing Ki would Hold His Breath.

After his Body would Finish changing after the Slash, He'd Breath his Dragon's Fire, The Azure Dragon's Flame being much hotter then his Fire on his Sword, Making sure to hit his sword during the attack so the Dragon's Fire would Combine with his Blade.

The follow up behind the Slash rather it's Parry'd Or Dodge'd Ki Would Blow Azure Dragon Flame At Oni,

As Wyndom weaved his body through the crowd, he would be acutely aware of massive amounts of information being channeled into his brain. Indeed, it was similar to his treadmill, and actually turned out quite handy. Wyndom was originally going to place up his own form of gathering intel, but that was no longer needed. The first thoughts that breached his mind were those of loathing, anger, and fear...fear that resonated through almost every demon as they watched their leader. They knew Oni was not to be trifled with, but even more overwhelming then those, was the blood lust. Only the small voice of fear kept them from charging into the fray to tear Kira apart.

At least...those seemed to be the strongest sensations if Wyndom was reading them correctly. He had a hunch that demons weren't too different then normal people. They would live lives outside of the arena, but for now they would be entirely focused on the fight, so their most brutish instincts where in the forefront of their minds.
Wyndom's brain was already automatically filtering through the vast amount of information, the tiny details that didn't matter naturally became a white static in the background after years of practice. If anything unusual would arise, that would be the first thing Wyndom's attention would be drawn too, but until that happened he would focus mainly on mapping out his immediate surroundings. Entry points, exit points, strategic locations, diameter of the arena, height of the stands, rough estimations of the populace, but most importantly...he was gauging Oni's strengths. Wyndom kept a close eye on the fight, careful to read everything Oni did, as he was sure to fight him sometime - like it or not.

Wyndom reached almost the opposite side of the stands as Ki went back into the fight, and when Oni didn't move, Wyndom guessed there was only two reasons possible for that. Sure enough, his second estimation turned out to be correct - he could take the hit with ease. Noting yet another transformation, Wyndom had already caught on to how things were working out. Whether that was Oni's only trick had yet to be determined, but Wyndom doubted it. Revealing everything this early on, and in front of Heaven's warriors was foolish - something that Oni was not - and so Wyndom began trying to read the artwork beneath the display of actions.

Immortal Summoner...

Even the name itself seemed to give away just a little bit too much information. Was Wyndom being crazy, or was there really something to what he noticed from Kira's opponent?

The last of the spiced tea had been consumed, she could feel the warmth of the tart drink heat up the blood in her system till the white of her face blushed a pale rose. Nothing said chaos more than a full belly and nothing left to lose. Why tea made her feel invincible was nothing but the result of perpetual insanity.Hell had its ups and downs, mostly ups, but there were days she felt less than herself and a warm glass of liquid courage usually was enough to bring her back to her nearly coldhearted self. Not everyone in Hell was evil. Just, misunderstood. Besides, it's not as though, when compared to a Celestial, they differed significantly. A Celestial is bound by the code of good, aligned with light in every sense of the term. However, when something was standing in their way, their actions were usually less than favorable for who so ever stood in their way. That of course, was anyone allied with the darkness. They will fight death with death. And the cycle of hypocrisy turns round and round...

Desdemonia played with the thoughts running through her head, mostly to justify her beliefs that Celestrials were just demons with halos. However, the day was proving to be less lucrative than she had hoped once she set off from the portion of Hell she had come to call home. There was work to be done, though what she had yet to discover. All she knew was that things were quiet and that was usually a disturbing realization in the chaotic bowls of Hell. Desdemonia looked about the bar, feeling the breaking of the patterns in the wind that let her know where every patron was sitting. None of them really caught her attention, even as she honed in her superb hearing on their annoying clamber. The dark haired woman nodded toward the bar, where she was certain the tender was standing, leaving a few of her coins on the counter as a token of her appreciation.

Upon exiting, Desdemonia's nostrils were penetrated by the smell of fresh blood. Her clumsy little friend had yet to leave the vicinity and was more or less unamused by the present she had left on his hand. Her head jerked back and forth between two directions and chose the direction headed for her friends rather than away. Their voices grew in intensity in her head, and Desdemonia stopped mid-step and took refuge behind the bar's farthest pillar.

The two of them were standing, feet apart, it felt like as they shifted in their stances. She could feel the Earth move impossibly soft beneath her own feet.

"I hear there is something going on with the boss."

Desdemonia's eyes widened in curiosity, if only for the reason news of the Lord was quite possibly lies or brief slander. Either which she had little time for. Rolling her eyes, Desdemonia began to walk in the opposite direction until the second demon provided further information.

"Hear people from the St. Anne's showed up. Whole bunch of demons and Celestials are at that arena place."

'Interesting..' She thought, turning on her heels to listen ever more carefully. 'Arena place? Oh, you really are a total buffoon...' Opportunity had a way of always presenting itself.... With that in mind, the Gorgon slinked past the two idiot demons and made her way towards the prospective happenings.

After much acrobatic tricks to speed up the traveling process, Desdemonia made it to the arena with little to no trouble. Dodging in silence of other beings was kind of her cup of tea. Silent as the snake, or so on so it goes. She felt her heart beat slowly, her chest cavity on fire like the pits of brimstone in Hell. Someone who wasn't suppose to be here, truly was. So the idiot demons were not that idiotic after all. At least they served a distinct purpose.

Desdemonia kept the back of the crowd. Some faces she recognized, others, not so much. Despite all that, she was not directly involved, however, she did hope to see the Lord in action. Especially when it came to Celestials. If nothing else, it would be entertaining. Or a great loss. Either way, something was going down and she wasn't going to miss it. All she had to do was pay close attention to the breaks in the air and wind and the shouting voices and it would be as clear as day.

As he watched Oni and Ki start to turn into dragons, that was Negi's sign to leave the battle grounds. He would move out of the way and then would jump over the railing, and he would head towards Lucus. As he walked up the stands Negi would encounter a few demons who were pretty pissed off at him.

"What are you doing here you traitor!"

As the demon said that, Negi would turn around. "You know I could roast you like a chicken, and then skin you alive. I you want to talk s**t to me I'll be sure to respond." His hand was on fire as he pointed it at him. He would walk up to Lucus. "Light I take it your the new leader of Heaven, right? Well what is a mutt doing in Heaven? I thought that was looked down upon, but screw it hows it going?" Taking a seat a row ahead of him and his gang. Putting his Scythe right next to him so it was near just in case.

He would look at Raven and Wyndom. He would then say to them. "Pardon my manors, I'm Negi. Negi Ukia. Oni's younger twin brother."
