Selia heard something above, like heavy weights being dropped on the floor. Then she smiled to herself, realizing Sebastian was doing his "exploring". Even it seemed cruel, Selia loved how Sebastian could take revenge, how he could erase himself completely and become a new person, a killer with reason. 'I hope his knife explores it's way into my father's throat.' Selia thought, her face growing darker. 'After what he did to my mother, and any of my sisters that looked like her.' Selia felt a single tear streak down her cheek at the thought of her mother and sisters, now long gone, as she saddled the horses. No wagon's were in the stable, but plenty of saddlebags to hold the weaponry they needed.

Ryan looked at Valik's awkward attempt to hold the photo. Taking the picture from him, Ryan smiled. "I got this one." Looking at the photo, Ryan was surprised to see the resemblance between the woman and someone he knew. But he wasn't sure how they looked alike. Almost like any child she had took after their father, whoever he was. "I wonder who she is." Ryan said, looking at Valik for any suggestions.

The king stood up from his bed and clapped. "Finally come to revenge your mother and sister? It's not that easy boy." Throwing a knife aimed at Sebastian's head, the king threw a second and third as well, aimed just to the right and left of him.

Ryan shook his head. "It's okay. I don't mind staying." Placing the picture back in the opened safe, Ryan sat on the cold ground and sighed. "This is going to be an interesting couple of weeks isn't it?"

Selia fell to the ground, head bleeding and staining her white hair red. A knife her grazed the back of her head while she wasn't looking. 'I guess they weren't drunk after all...' Selia thought, blacking out. A guard came up and picked Selia up by her tunic and smiled. "The king will be pleased to see his long lost daughter." He said, tossing her onto the ground. Motioning for another guard to carry her, the guard opened a door and smiled sinisterly. "Let's go."

The king dodged Sebastian easily. "You fought better last time we met."

The king grabbed Sebastian's fist and twisted. Hearing his guards come to the door, he smiled darkly. "Oh look who came to visit her father." Dropping his grip on Sebastian's fist, the king gripped his neck instead. "Have you met my daughter? She really is lovely isn't she?" The king's voice was full of false adoration and love as he spoke. Pushing Sebastian against a wall, he forced him to his side, making to where Selia lay on the ground.

The guards dragged Selia to the kings room, smiling sinisterly as they dropped her onto the floor. Blood had turned her hair red like her mothers, but it now began to pool around her. Selia moaned as she regained consciousness, and screamed when the guard place his foot on her back and pushed his weight onto her thin frame.

The king coughed as the knife pierced through his jugular, making blood spray. Releasing his grip on Sebastian and coughed again, pulling the knife out this time. As soon as the knife was out of his throat, the king fell to the ground, blood spilling from the now gaping cut in his neck. The guards jumped forward, trying to help their commander, but failing as the torrents of blood spilled. With one final choking cough, the king lay motionless on the floor.

Selia propped herself up on an elbow and threw a knife at the guard who had crushed her, hitting him in his spinal chord. He fell to the floor immediately. Selia did the same for the other guard, then fell to the floor herself, unconscious from blood loss.

Ryan felt Valik's uneasiness. Raising an eyebrow, Ryan stood. "I know you want to go as bad as I do, so lets get going." Ryan started walking towards the out skirts of town.

Selia blinked awake, looking up at Sebastian. He was covered in blood... again. "Why are you always covered in blood? This is twice in a day." Selia said, reaching to wipe some off from his cheek. She was smiling, looking almost like a twin to her mother.

Ryan stepped out of the forest first. "I think the question would be what the hell happened to you guys." His eyes widened at the sight of their injuries. "But I'm not entirerly sure on how to answer your question." Walking up to Sebastian, he brushed hair out from Selia's face. "Wow. You guys really were enthusiastic on getting horses."

Selia smiled, but that changed to confusion at the sight of the yellow eyes. Getting out of Sebastian's hold, Selia stood in front of him, and took his hand. "What do you mean you don't know how to answer it?" Selia asked, still confused on what was going on.

Selia stepped forward with Sebastian, but didn't have the same reaction. Reaching out to touch the wolf, Selia looked at the wolf more carefully. 'It's the same shade of black as Valik's hair...' Selia's thoughts clicked together, and horror filled her eyes. Letting go of Sebastian's hand, Selia walked up to the wolf and hugged it around the shoulders. "I'm so sorry Valik."

Ryan just nodded at Selia's comment. Looking at Sebastian, Ryan just stared. "That was the cut. Or bite I should say. There's nothing we can do, but he's still Valik. It's his thoughts and his actions, not some crazed wolf."

Ryan shook his head. "No, and we'd like to keep it that way. Which mean's we have to stay out tonight." Sitting down, Ryan looked over at Selia and Valik, then back at Sebastian. "So what happened out there? I mean, you look like you walked through a blood fountain, and Selia has red hair. Like this lady." Ryan held up the picture of the woman.

Selia released Valik and sat down, looking at Sebastian, then back at Valik, then back to Sebastian. "What did happen? I woke up to my father dead and you walking over to his body." Selia whispered, scooting closer to Sebastian and leaning her head on his leg. It really was cold that night, and as if someone had noticed that it could snow, it began to fall from the sky. Flakes stuck to the ground immediately.
