Suddenly, the golems joints seem to lock up, and, with its unbalanced stance, falls over. At it hits the floor, it explodes in a massive fireball. The three of you can feel the heat, but are otherwise unharmed.

He turns all his limbs back to normal wiping the sweat from his forehead and going out to see if every one is unharmed.

Seeing the giant explosion and realizing that the battle is over, I cast a gentle breeze upon myself to cool off from the heat caused by the explosion. I then go over to the remnants of the golem to make sure it's safe or see if it dropped any valuables. "I really hope there aren't any more of those..." I say, sounding almost more annoyed than worried.

Carolyn you find: scrap iron, assorted computer chips, and a dubious looking reactor core.

I decide to actually take the computer chips, seeing as they might have some use or value, but I'm afraid to take apocryphal power cores from a robot that just exploded.

"Field work is always fun, better then being on the walls that is. Better do some more searching of the place though," I say, and pick up the rest of the loot. Then continue my investigation of the area.

You all see tons of abandoned factories, but one building catches your eye. It looks like labratory, and seems better maintained then the rest of the area.

"Looks like an old lab, but someones livin' in there... I got an idea, I'll climb up on of the other buildings, and see if I can find anyone inside," I say, and climb a building that would give me a good veiw of the inside.
