Short IC Response:
The walk to the top of the hill was silent as the winged mare mused over her wish, she did not believe wishing on a star would actually work, but then again there was no harm in trying. Silver eyes looked around the area surrounding her, it appeared visited, and many hoof prints were packed into the soft earth, along with a few human foot prints. Nakita moved her gaze to the starry heavens above, she closed each of her silvery eyes and spoke her wish out loud, letting her voice echo off the hill top, “Oh great wishing star, please hear me on this night, I wish for a rival; One who will test my limits and my skills as a fighter. In an offering I leave one of my golden feathers gifted to me by my mother.” Nakita opened her eyes to gaze at the beautiful glowing star and smiled, her voice was barely above a whisper now, “Thank you for this chance to make my wish, good night Bright Shining One.” With those last words, Nakita walked back down the hill, her thoughts on the wish she had made, a small smile upon her countenance.

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A braid containing hair from herself, her daughter, her mate and stepson with 2 feathers that remind her of her parents.
Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Hazalinia gently placed the fragile braid and feathers on the alter and closed her eyes, thinking of the family from which she had been estranged. With them all fresh in her mind she looked up at the rare star. "Oh wishing star it's been so long since I've seen my family. I wish to see even just one of them again to know if they are all well and for them to know that I have a happy family of my own now." She bowed and then turned to journey back down to where her mate and daughter waited for her.

Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: I am a simple wolf. I live my life full of only things I know I need, like food and water. And even though my life should be full I feel like something is missing. I wandered far and wide to search for what was leaving that hole in my heart. And one day an idea I know is right came to me, I need a friend. One who can add a star to my life. So here I am and now I ask my dear star rising so high can you find it in your heart to give me my star?

So in return for at least this hope that I may find a friend I give you this." Places a relatively large crystal that vaguely looks like a star on a near by stump. "Hopefully this star will will be enough, even if it's only a shadow of what I ask for."

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? He eerily delights in tearing the webbing from between his fins and offers it to the star. His thoughts being that he and his nemesis should be cut from the same cloth.
Short IC Response: “While Sita may be the love blessed only to me, I still feel this sense of sadism deep in my core.” A wicked, crocked sneer played on his lips. It was true, Sita had gotten the better of him and softened him and his tough exterior, but even she could not keep him from the watery depths that called to him for blood. He wasn’t so much a monster now, he spared women and children, but he wasn’t ‘cured’ as Sita deemed him to be. This was his dirty secret and it was beginning to weigh heavy on his soul. Could he continue to deceive her? Did he want to? No, he wanted to change for her, and here he was, wishing to a star when long ago it seemed a silly notion of lore. “Star, hear my prayer! I seek a fiend as carnal as I. A beast whom no one can call friend. I thirst for an equal, :snicker:, well, as close as one can be. Someone to keep my busy mind and body busy, to spare these soquili from me.”

What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? she has gathered the feather of her sister and herself, and the blessed feathers of the kalona known as Eviotil, with a rose from the daughter of the primrose herd. She also brings a more kalona like offering of fresh rabbit meat and blood.
Short IC Response: Alinea knew that her sister would not really care, but Alinea had to know, and wishing upon a star was the only way to even remotely find out anything about her father. When she'd conversed with Eviotil, the kalona mare had agreed that it was a good idea to get as much power in the mix as possible to call on the star. The mare sighed as she made her way past so many others, and cleared a space for her own offering. So many others had gathered up so much, perhaps her offering was too meager, but she would not back down now. Her eyes raised to the sky, and she spoke low as her hoof nudged the offering a little more to center, "Great star that shines above this world, let this small wish come to pass, I know well the face of my mother, whose eyes shown blue as my sister's, and skin and wing show dark as my skin, I pray, I wish, mighty star, I beseech thee, let me know the pale face of my father, the one who cursed my life with eyes that hold others captive in fear, the stallion who left me with my mother, and gave my sister a chance to be better taken care of. Let me see the pale coat and markings of that one who ought to have taken both his girls." Her eyes glowed eerily, "I only ask to know my father, please give me that small solace for my childhood of sorrows." With that plea, Alinea turned away to make her way back down to another place, somewhere that might lead to where her real father was.

Short IC Response:
Eponine was hardly aware of the rumors of the Wishing Star. As a younger and more naive mare, she might have swooned and sighed and happily turned to the stars to find her prince and a little slice of a happy ending. But that wasn't the case, was it? Hadn't the fates already answered her prayers? She had been given two loves, though one had tricked and betrayed her swiftly, and the other had promised her the moon, only to take back all his words of love, claiming it to be a mistake. How could the stars and spirits torment her and shatter her heart once more? Was love not meant for her? Was it because she was ugly, was it because she was growing older, was it her stutter, was it because she was cursed?

So it was without thinking that Eponine paused, hardly thinking about what she spoke of and what she requested to the world, to the stars. "I'm g-g-getting older. I c-c-can feel it, th-th-though I am no stranger t-t-to lonliness. Is th-th-there no happy ending in s-s-sight for me? Is th-th-there no one out there whom might look at me and f-f-find someone worth g-g-getting to know? Please, if he's out th-th-there. . . let him f-f-find me soon." Some tears rolled down her muzzle, sprinkling the ground, before she pressed her hoof print in the dirt.

She had nothing to give but her hope, her dreams, and the tears of her broken heart. She didn't dare leave flowers or treats, as they would go stale; nor did she leave a lock of her mane, as she feared it too plain or simple. "All I c-c-can give, all th-that I own are these tears and a wish." And with that, the mare turned away, not exactly holding her breath or hopeful. She was a desperate mare, but one who had long ago come to the bitter realization that sometimes happy endings weren't meant for everyone.

Thunjeramon took a few moments to compose himself. There was something quite unusual about exposing oneself to a star, but after roaming for ages and finally finding it he supposed a few words wouldn't hurt. Thunj is open-minded and welcomes the unusual, there were few things that he would immediately turn his back on. And if there was a chance at finding a friend... "Hello...star. If you can grant wishes, I hope you'll lend an ear? Although I'm quite fond of my familiar Iriel, I wish to find a friend of my kind. Oh, I don't judge on appearances, but a companion with similar interests would be ideal. I'm often exploring and I don't wish to travel alone - in that sense - anymore.
