Saleen Moon

If Esther succeeded on grabbing a galactic ball, she would have thrown it to land by Saleen who would have picked it up and attempted to shove it in her bag. Esther focused her attentions on the weak pokemon and grinned. This would be fun. She unleashed a psychic attack on the rattata and pidgey. Esther enjoyed a good fight! Ciara began to throw ember attacks at the group of pokemon, so glad that it wasn’t onix and steelix that had been unleashed, and rather something more at her level! Ciara wasn’t very strong, as she was a new pokemon, but she felt she could hold her own against these weak pokemon. Esther on the other hand, had a previous trainer and was stronger then Ciara was, as well as a bit more experienced. So she handled them with more ease. Though even she had to admit, in the large numbers they were a pain.

Onyx and Steelix. Mm. Skiron had an offensive advantage against Onyx, but was weak to both himself. Persephone would certainly cope for a while and... Wait. Those were not Onyx. The other pokeball did not reveal Steelix either. Well that had to be rather humiliating, but it worked out for him rather neatly. Skiron could destroy the Pidgey with ease, and while Persephone had no offensive advantage against the Rattatta horde, by his best guess they would have almost all normal type moves, and perhaps one dark type move; they wouldn't be able to do her any significant harm.

"Skiron, move against the pidgey," Frost called calmly and clearly to his long-time companion, "and Persephone, go for the Rattata!"

Ears pinned back flat against his skull, Skiron let out a vicious Ice Beam against his designated targets.

Giving a maniacal laugh, Persephone slammed against a Rattatta with Faint Attack.

Satisfied that his pokemon were doing fine on their own for now Frost hastened towards the galactic ball that they had seen Demios throw when the first arrived. The sooner they secured it the better, perhaps they could even use the pokemon within it against Demios if the need arose.

Well they certainly weren't Onix's and Steelix's. Alexander laughed at the Galactic's blunder before turning to his pokemon. "Conrad, show the nearest group of Rattata how Quick Attack really is done." A soon as the Eevee took off Xander smirked at Zack. "Come on pup, give the birds a roar and see how many flee then use Ember on the rest." Zack yipped in excitement then turned to the flock of Pidgy's and let out a loud roar.

The sudden tide of Ratatta and Pidgey made both Never and Elvis widen their eyes. Sorano even widened his eyes, for once actually confirming he had eyes. Elvis and Never were hit hard, getting a pailful of pecks and nibbles from the little Pokemon. Blanching at this (considering his Pokemon should be able to shake them off), Sorano pushed Whinny out to the field. "Go 'elp 'em!" he shouted.

In a rushing waddle, Whinny chattered as she went to meet the duo. What could she do, what could she do? Ohh, there was so many! What could she do? Sorano had instructed her in secrecy to use Psychic when he commanded. Yet, now he commanded her to attack! What could she dooo? Should she wait for another attack, should she just use Psychic? Oh, what could she do? Suddenly, as epiphany hit her like a dart on a dartboard. Whinny, after much whiny chatter, decided to truly go with her idea of Psychic. However, she used a little help from Never.

As he spouted about a Flamethrower in random direction, scorching feathers and fur, he was thrust into the air with Whinny the Wigglytuff's Psychic and swung around. Never was smashed into Rattatas and Pidgey, knocking them out as some kind of fluffy projectile. All the while, Sorano at the rear was feeling kind of sexy, err, stupid.

Why, oh, why was his Pokemon stupider than well, himself?

Having a wave of pokemon unleashed upon them was not entirely unexpected. However, the arrival of normal types was difficult for his ghost pokemon to deal with. that and worst, it was a flock of pidgey and rats. "Shadow! Hit the pidgey with confuse ray. Shade Dark pulse." he said pointing at the birds and then he opened another pokeball, unleashing his third pokemon, a black and green Flareon. "Sebasion, helping hand."

Shadow let out a squeal of joy, laughing as he continued to use confusion ray on the pidgey. "Haunter!"

Shade launched a dark pulse at the pidgey, aiming at the closest clump.

The flareon blinked in surprise and then grinned. This was his first mission battle but that ment little to the pokemon. He saw his father, creating havoc as usual, and heard a command. That was unusual for the pokemon, but he fallowed the other pokemon's example and used helping hand.

The thought of facing off against fifty giant stone and metal snakes wasn't terribly appealing to Repo. They'd be outnumbered AND out-typed in some cases. The revelation that the two giant balls contained...well, NOT those things made him laugh aloud. "Rats'n wee birdies? Tha's stuff t'make dinner of, no' go t'battle wi'!" This would be cake.

"Onna attack then, th' lot of you!" He waved a hand at his three nonchalantly. They were still outnumbered...but it barely would matter, right?

His Pikachu deftly shot down any pidgeys coming for his balloons with thunderbolt, and Jigglypuff leapt off his back to start disabling any in range. Those would fall down stunned, unable to use their moves, and relatively harmless. Drifblim meanwhile let loose another gust, sending a cloud of pidgeys tumbling through the air.

Onyx? Steelix? At least they had enough water pokemon, Mau hoped, to deal with...

Rattata?

Though learning that this man's damned hedgehog was responsible for the destruction at the ball, Mau couldn't help but feel embarrassed for him. He couldn't help the faint chuckle that escaped him before it was promptly quelled.

"Ire, take them out quickly!" The jolteon obliged, running through the hoards of pokemon alternating between her hidden power and quick attack.

Nuu... was less useful. There were lots of pokemon after the big ball that she was told to help get. This could be a rather fun game! The umbreon wanted it, and so did that person it seemed. Nuu gave a happy squeal, diving for the ball, passing through some unfortunate living being in her attempt to get the ball. Maybe if she threw it the game would be more fun? Maybe...

Aki was kind of bored. He needed a good, clear shot to try and waterlog the metal thing with the long... leggy things. But there were so many rockets and other pokemon... Wait, those pokemon were digging. If they dug under it, Aki could fill the holes with water and freeze it, hopefully securing any fallen leggy things in some freshly frozen ground. YES! This was a marvelous plan!

"Oh frak..."
Onyx and Steelix were not what Tambrey needed at all. Both her pokemon would be horribly disadvantaged by those snakes.
And then out came ratatas and pidgeys...

"Er." Her colour, drained by the announcement of the powerful steel and rock types quickly returned, though she bit her tongue.
It wasn't long ago that Pygi had hatched...
"Palu! Go after those rats with gust!" There, now her bird didn't have to face the Pidgeys... and, huh. Well, Lasi was already charging toward the the flock of birds... Fine, but she wished he'd waited to be told an attack.
"Er.. Bite, I guess!"

"Zubat!" The pink pokemon charged toward a chosen bird while an ominously silent Palu flapped her wings to cast the gust attack upon the purple rodents.

Galactic Deimos

With the help of the eager mob of Rocket Pokémon and without any interfering Galactics standing in the way, Esther's attempts to grab the ball were successful.

Deimos' eyes widened. He looked furious. "That's mine!!! Tethys do something!!!" He barked before unclipping one of his normal-sized Poké Balls and lobbing it at the group. Amongst the sea of Rattata and Pidgey, his large gliscor appeared.

"Scooooorr" It spread its wings and soared over the scene.

"Phillip, stop them! Poison jab!" He pointed at Esther as she passed the ball to Saleen.

"Gliscor!" The poison pokémon shifted course, making a beeline for Saleen. Upon arrival it swung its stinger-tipped tail at the Rocket.

Meanwhile many of the attacking rattata and pidgey were mowed down by their superior attackers. Unfortunately the little pokémon had a numbers advantage. For every one that was knocked out, more appeared. Tiny as they were, they were somewhat overwhelming. As Skiron successfully ice beamed a pidgey two rattata flung themselves at the glaceon with bite attacks. Persephone's faint attack was also successful, though followed up by a quick attack from a divebombing pidgey.

Conrad's quick attack sent a halpless rattata flying into a tree while another jumped at him with a tackle. Meanwhile Ember's roar gave the flock of pidgey pause. Unfortunately there were too many of them and only those in the front seemed effected, while those in the back surged forward.

As Never's flamethrower set a passing pidgey's wings ablaze, being thrown into the mob of Pokemon by Whinny actually took down two more. So that was kind of helpful. On the downside, once he landed two rattata would be on him with bite attacks.

Shadow's confuse ray immediately sent one of the pidgey flying into a group of rattata, damaging two of them and itself. Another pidgey's eyes narrowed and it rocketed at Shadow with a quick attack. Thankfully it was taken down by Shade's dark pulse. Unfortunately, another pidgey came at Shade from the side with a second quick attack.

Repo's pikachu easily thunderbolted down three pidgey. The unfortunate flying types tumbled uselessly to the ground. While his jigglypuff disabled more attacking pokémon, two rattata jumped the pink pokémon from behind with tackle attacks. After his drifblim's gust attack sent a pair of pidgey flying, another countered with whirlwind.

Ire's rampant hidden power and quick attacking mowed down several rattata and was answered with angry sand attacks from two pidgey.

Palu's gust attack hit its target and another rattatta was knocked aside. A second darted in with quick attack. Lasi's bite crunched down on a hapless pidgey's tail. Angry, two more swooped in and started pecking with tackle attacks.

As if the damage after being cannoned through two Pidgey was not enough! The two Rattata whose teeth were vicious chomped onto his unprotected parts of no fluff, causing him to grit his teeth in pain. He tried his best to throw them off, even obtaining a good tail whip of a Thunderbolt from Elvis who flocked to him in his danger.

asked Never as the Raichu dodged to the left from an incoming Pidgey.

The Raichu winked and again, another fluttering tail of Thunderbolt made its way towards the two.

The sudden Gliscor that appeared to the field frightened Whinny and she made a beeline to retreat. Sorano had to push her back onto the field (with a little foot action) to get her back into gear.

"Git tha' thin' with an Ice Beam, Whins!" Sorano shouted.

Oh, okay. It was all what he wanted wasn't it? Why couldn't she just pick her attacks? Ugh, she wished she didn't have to battle! Obliging him however, Whinny waved an Ice Beam to the Gliscor.

As soon as the order was given to move in, chaos ensued. Galactics were taken down easily, only for an army of Pidgey and Rattata to take their place. It was borderline insanity, and Demyx thrived in it.

Without any direction Arpeggio surged forward, weaving between his allies with his tail swaying behind him. Once he was towards the front of the group he kicked up sand in the direction of the Rattata, ensuring the ground was coated with it before doing what, for all intents and purposes, appeared to be some kind of victory dance. A small group of clouds gathered above the enemy pokémon, and it began to poor down on them - effectively making the flying types far more susceptible to electric attacks and making the sand damp and hard to move through.

The entire time, Demyx stood on the sidelines, offering no instruction to the Vaporeon. He'd trained him well, and he didn't need to tell him what to do to get good results.

Now that it looked as though the prize was in their hands for the time being, Frost quickly turned his attention back to his pokemon. Those bite attacks would add up soon, getting the Rattata off Skiron was the priority. "Skiron, defend yourself, and Persephone: help him!"

Relieved to be allowed to shake off the rats rather than focusing on the remaining Pidgey, Skiron blasted one of the two with Ice Beam.

What? The Spiritomb's hive-like mind buzzed with conflicting thoughts. Why should they? That Pidgey had the audacity to try to harm them! The fact that the normal type attack had gone straight through them was neither here nor there. Yet, if they did not obey, the human would seal them in the pokeball, keep them from battle... But that Pidgey! After a few moments of indecision, one voice rose above the rest. With that decided, Persephone focused on the second Rattata attacking Skiron and charged at it with another faint attack.

With the situation between his pokemon and their foes under control again for the time being, Frost turned his head to see how the situation was progressing between Saleen and the gliscor. He really did wish he had some idea of what else Deimos might have at his disposal, and what the woman beside him (Tethys apparently) might be capable of bringing to the battle field.

In contrast to the purple-haired man barking frantic orders, Tethys was cold and calm - but certainly not still. The Galactic commander withdrew and threw a Pokeball into Esther's path, her long looped ponytail whipping around with the athletic motion.

"Retrieve the prototype," she called out as the ball bounced and cracked open, planting a strange hybrid of a mushroom and a kangaroo in the Umbreon's path.

"Brii!" the Breloom trilled, bouncing forward on red clawed feet to knock the Galactic ball out of Saleen's hands with a swipe of its clublike tail.

The pale woman's gaze swept over the chaotic tangle of fur and feathers that was the rest of the battlefield. One of the Galactic grunts started forward; she stilled him with a motion of her hand. Not yet.

At the moment Alexander didn't even know that Saleen and the g-ball was in danger as he was too distracted by the fight that was going on before him. "Hang in there Conrad, Zack!" he called out. "Conrad use bite on them! Zack use ember!" He wanted so bad to jump in there and help his pokemon out but knew he would just get in the way.

Conrad squealed when the Rattata tackled him and he was sent flying. He managed to correct his footing though and lunged back at the rat with a vicious bite attack in revenge.

Zack snarled at the Pidgy's that were flying at him before digging his paws in the ground to stabilize his self. He then let out an ember attack aimed at the closest of the birds.

The advantage of having a ghost type was that normal attacks did nothing. Shade didn't bother to dodge the little pidgey, his experience in training with it's evolved form told it it had little to fear from the pokemon. A new order came up from the ground. "Shade! Cover Saleen! Dark Pulse on that gliscor!" The ghost pokemon nodded and directed it's attention to the new arrival, sending a pulse of dark energy at it.

Shadow laughed more, excited, and shot his confusion ray at more pidgey, happy at the chaos he was playing in.

Sebastian stayed closer to his trainer and was able to hear the comand much more clearly. "Ember, the pidgey on shade. get it's attention and then bite it when it's down here." the fire type nodded and took off, sending a burst of flame at the pidgey.
