Ayoto was looking through her scope to see a famuler figure take the shot, yet he still stood as the dart stuck out his back.
"No...It couldn't be him..." as she held her breath and had her focus on the figure that was pulling the dart out of his back.
She zoomed out of her scope just a slight bit to get a better view, that's when she saw a metalic bird towards her. Figuring it was one of Lucas toys, she came prepared for this day. "I knew you would turn your back on us...filthy failures..." she said coldly as she change her gun and pulled out what looks like a gernade launcher and inserted EMP round.
She squeeze the trigger without hesitation and launched what looked like a gernade in the air and emitted an electic pulse that should disable any electronic device.
Ayoto slung her gernade launcher and rifle over her shoulders and made leap of faith. As she began her descent, she fire a grapple hook from her belt and swung herself to the ground with ease.
"Never gets old", she thought to herself with a smile. She pulls out her pistol and places a finger over her ear piece and contacted her superior. Reporting that he's gone AWOL.
Ryoku panted from sprinting, "Damn...haven't ran that hard for a while now....", as he pulled out the dart from his back. Turning his attention towards the scout, he see's the scout already ran off, and as well the sniper dissapeared from its the position. "So...You okay?" he asked the girl who he pushed onto the ground.
(Hmm...feels like I'm over doing it...am I? sweatdrop )

Kari grasped the sharp rock in her hands, but her tense and defensive expression changed when she realized that the boy had probably just saved her life. Her grip loosened on the rock. She rolled up so that she was now sitting on the sand. "Yea...yea I think so..." She looked down at her now torn jeans, then back up at the boy. "Thanks...I guess. I mean not a lot of people would take a bullet for someone like me." She then looked around. "Wait a minute, where's that Lucas boy?"
(ooc: I think it's fine. The more someone writes the easier it is for the next person to come up with something to write. It's hard to post if someone only gives you a couple sentences to go off of.)

Lucas returned to Kari's side when he lost track of his opponent and looked at the deactivated robot before at Kari and her injured rescuer, he was a little jealous because He's like to have been the one to save Kari, mainly because he wanted her blood and for her to trust him.
Sighing he sat down and took out the sandwiches, tossing one to the kid with the bullet in his back. "Here, eat this and keep your strength up."

Kari shot Lucas a cold glare and stood up. "What the hell's your problem? I almost got killed and all you can do is sigh and act like nothing happened?" She started rolling up her jeans to make shorts, as her legs were getting hot from the sand. She made sure that her hightops and socks were hiding the effects of the curse on her legs before turning around to yell at Lucas some more. "Did you call someone to come here to assasinate me? Or is it just a coincidence that you just happened to be talking to your boss a second before some pyscho tried to kill me?"

Turning to Kari he looked a little wide eyed at her and shook his head. "I only asked the boss for more time, you heard everything I said to him because you were right in front of me while we spoke. I couldn't have told him to assassinate us." He spoke and sighed before turning away to think. Taking the sword out from it's hiding place under his jacket he pointed it to his hand and cut the meat of his thumb carefully and put the blood that ran down it in a little vial. Then cleaning his sword with a cloth he put it back in it's hilt under his jacket. "If you ever feel threatened or want to leave, take this and go. Until then I will carry it." Lucas spoke and put a looped wire in it and tied it to a chain for a necklace. Putting it around his neck and tucking it in his shirt, keeping it close to his heart. Kari sighed and sat back down on the sand. She crossed her arms, thinking about how stupid she must've sounded. She laid on her stomach, crossing her legs in the arm and started drawing the in sand with the sharp rock she armed herself with moments ago. She had forgotten her savior was also still there until she laid down. That made her feel even more embarassed. It was hard for her to warm up to people right away since she had been on the run for so long. She'd forgotten how to trust people properly even if they were just trying to help. Kari rested her chin in her palm, still drawing, and started to feel about for yelling at Lucas so much. 'Maybe he's not so bad after all.'

(Sorry I haven't been around lately, Drama you know....) Ryoku toss the dart behind him as if it was nothing special, but until the one named Lucas called for him and tossed something in the air. And it left Ryoku breathless for a second.
In Ryoku's mind, everything seemed to go slow motion to him. The sandwich being flung in the air towards him. A drop of drool escaped his mouth as he caught it.
"Thhaaaaannkkk you man!" as Ryoku mind was focused on his sandwich. He sat down cross leg with his back towards the two strangers.
Ryoku unwrapped the plastic, before he bit into it, he wondered.
"Waait a min..."
Ryoku paused in mid air staring at Lucas with suspicion.
"How would you know I want one of these?"

Angelica squirmed in her chair and woke up slowly yawning. "I wonder if the children are up?" She sat up and saw the children still in a huddle on the floor sleeping and one of the scientists glareing at her. "Mmmm guess it's time for me to get yelled at then?" As she got up a nurse came over and Angelica told her to tell the children that she went to get some fresh air and then left with the scientist humming and smiling. ((I'm not going to let this die.... Just didn't know the right time to post. sweatdrop ))

((Sorry I was going to post then forgot.))
Lucias glanced at the kid and shrugged. "Near psychic tendencies.." He teased and shrugged again before taking his shoes off and walking towards the ocean, leaving hoof prints in the sand, already from his recent transformations wool had started growing past his ankles about a quarter way up to his knee. The tide was out so there was a bit of distance to the water from where they were. Stopping almost halfway he turned and motioned for the others to come over before continuing.
Finding himself glancing down at his hooves his lips pressed into a thin line while he kept track of the people behind him, his hands were sore again, at least that process was getting slower though he was sure his ram horns were going to grow past his hair soon.

Kari watched Lucas walk towards the ocean. She looked down, noticing the hoove prints in the sand. Her attention turned back to Lucas. Her eyes rested on what should've been human feet, but were hooves that had fur surrounding them. She sighed, and rolled over. She prepared to stand up, but right as her foot touched the sand so she could stand, a sharp pain shot up through her leg. She flinched and sank back onto the sand. She had forgotten that her curse was starting to spread again. She'd have to go steal pain medication soon.

Hearing Kari crumple to the ground, Lucias turned and felt a little pang in his heart before running over to her side and kneeling. "Are you ok? Is it the curse?" He spoke softly, sounding like he really cared then swallowed as if to keep those feelings down and keep the facade, yet it was the same thing wasn't it? He pushed the confusion from his mind as he took out the vial and held it out. "Do you need this?"

Kari looked at him, quite confused at this point. She'd never met someone like him. Was he so sure of himself that he would just give her his blood without finding out if she would return the favour? She couldn't help but smile. She pushed his hand away, gently but with an almost hesitant feel. "No. Don't offer this to me again until I'm able to give you mine....or else...I'm afraid I'll be tempted to take it and run."
