 A GIANT SQUID ATTACKS AND IT HAS VIVECA! OH NO! The squid smashes the poor ghoul into the boat, costing her 10 HP (that puts you at 22 HP vive).
YOU GUYS GOTTA SAVE HER! Before the squid drags her down into the depths! And gotta get rid of that darned creature!
((THIS IS A TWO PART EVENT :
FIRST OFF.
Everyone rolls a singuar 20 sided dice. If you roll a 13 you save Viveca! You may roll as often as you like, until Viveca is saved!
SECONDLY
After you guys save the poor ghoul, Xypher and Winter need your help prying that damn squid off the boat!

After the whole . . . fish debacle, Aksaja was quite glad of a day to relax. The lightning dragon considered going to visit one of the various ghouls, but he didn't realize how tired he was after all that running around. So instead, he just ended up sleeping most of the day. Oh well . . . more opportunities would arise. Hopefully.
This dance contest sounded interestingly like one of those opportunities however . . . . .

Oh, wait, it wasn't Riley.
BUT STILL. A GIANT SQUID. s**t.
Up into the air he went, wings beating to gain height, and then he dove down, attempting to snatch Viveca from the squid's grasp. Maybe he could do better this time than he had with Vaith. But just as he reached for the ghoul, the squid flung her about in a different direction, and so he missed. Jackdammit.

Sin was relaxed again, no guns, no fish, just a fabulous traditional tango dress and the urge to dance. She had taken a long hot soak, laughed about the fish incident and couldn't wait to finally get the cruise experience she had hoped for. Yes the day was looking wonderful, the air crisp, the sky full of tentacl-wait what?! Then she heard it the sound of a ghoul, not just ANY ghoul but Viveca! The amusing engineer that Sin counted as a friend and possible Lucky 13 recruit! Was that a giant squid on the boat?! Oh sweet Jack...all she wanted was to dance, was that too much to ask for.
"VIVI! DON'T WORRY!" Sin shouted up at the other ghoul, but the truth was she herself was quite worried...and Viveca probably was too.
Sin looked around for some way to save her friend, but really her mind was just a muddled tangle at the moment. She just stood there looking frantic for a moment...hopefully she'd snap out of it soon.(( Profile))

Okay...okay...just take a deep breath, sweet Jack why a giant squid?! Right, deep breath, Sin finally managed to get herself back under control and looked around again. She needed some way to save her friend, she noticed some rope and rushed over. Why was she always wearing the least practical heels for a crisis? She sighed and tried to untangle the rope, but the stuff was thick, stiff, and knotted up. Sin struggled to get it all untangled, unknotted, and unkinked so it would be of use.

Viveca had JUST been minding her own Jackdammed business.
She didn't like the idea of a mandatory field trip, but a boat ride sounded great! Now she was wondering what the hell she had been thinking. This was most obviously not 'haght not!'. She had taken a nice long shower and nap with her resting day, then had come onto the deck for a breath of air.
And now some crazy purple, ridiculous squid had her (and the boat).
She had stretched out her hands, when Aksaja dove for her.
"AS GOOD AT RESCUES AS YOU ARE AT FISH KILLIN' HUH??"
Ok, it might not have been the best idea to taunt would be rescuers, but her head was hurting like crazy now! She just wanted back on the horrible awful, very bad ship.
It was better than in the grasp of tentacles.
Well, while she was here, she might as well do something about it's attachment to the ship. She bit down hard, into the tentacle holding her captive.

"HEY. I'M TRYING!!" Aksaja yelled back, coming around for another pass. Just because she'd killed more stupid fish than he did . . . was that any reason to mock him? Damn.
This time, however, one of the tentacles reached out to try and grab onto HIM as well. With a startled sort of noise, the lightning dragon performed something of a miraculous aerial maneuver. It involved kicking at the tentacle to launch himself away, doing a flip in midair that aimed him straight for the side of the ship, then kicking off the ship to get some distance again.
Unfortunately, it meant the didn't even get a chance to try and grab at the caught ghoul.

Sin finally managed to get the rope untangled hurried and panicked as she was. She quickly made a slipknot of sorts and then lifted the rope above her head, gave it some swings, and tried to throw it like a lasso. Except...Sin had never thrown a lasso in her life, and it wasn't exactly an easy trick. The rope fell onto the deck uselessly. She frowned and quickly tugged it back, she couldn't just give up...there must be some trick to it.
Sin limbered up her wrist and tried again...and again...and hmm this wasn't quite working. Maybe she ought to just try tossing it instead of a fancy lasso maneuver.

As he flew over the deck again, Aksaja saw what Sin was trying to do with the rope. Geez, she was going to take forever. Landing quickly, he grabbed one end of it and tugged - thinking that would somehow unravel the thing.
But instead, it only ended up tangling that end of the rope more. Oops. "Sorry," he muttered, starting to work at undoing the mess he'd just made.

Sin tossed the rope as best as she could and almost cheered when it landed on Vivi, she saw it tighten. Then she looked down at the mess Aksaja had made, she was about to chew him out when she felt tension at her leg. Then suddenly Vivi was being saved and Sin was yanked down onto the deck the same rope pulling Viveca to safety was caught around her leg. She kicked and struggled to untangle herself with muttered curses.
Finally she managed but her leg, jack damn that hurt...she threw the dragon boy a glare. Then she turned and limped over to Viveca determined to make sure she was alright. Sin normally wouldn't limp despite the injury...limping was unattractive after all, but between her high heels, the pain, and the desire to see her fiend okay, it slipped her mind.

Seeing that somehow or other, Sin had managed to get Viveca back onto the ship, Aksaja winced at the limping but then grinned. Now they could apparently attack the thing? "YES!" he yelled, pumping a fist into the air.
Pausing for a moment, the lightning dragon concentrated . . . turning fingernails into long and rather wicked-looking claws. Much better for fighting this thing, and something he hadn't been able to do back in Christmastown. NOW this monster would see what he was made of!
"LET GO YOU JACKING PIECE OF SEAFOOD!" he screamed, descending upon the squid like a . . . well. A lightning bolt. With claws. Which he aimed at the center mass of the thing, somehow diving through all the tentacles to rake claws across flesh, then soaring out again without a scratch.

Sin was seeing red, she was furious, all she wanted was to lounge in her pretty clothes and eat and dance and enjoy this boat ride. Instead they were faced with depressing songs, dangerous fish, people going overboard, and now a giant squid. Sin gave a furious screech before grabbing the rope and tossing it again. She yanked hard when it wound around a tentacle, if squid's could get their muscles pulled Sin intended to yank this one to bits.
"TONIGHT WE'RE EATING CALAMARI!" She yelled and yanked the rope again doing 6 damage to the giant squid.

Oh, now Aksaja wasn't quite sure what that was, but it definitely sounded good. Especially if someone like Sin was yelling it.
"YEEAAAAA!! CALAMARIIIIIIII!!!!!" he screamed, turning the word into a battle cry as he dove down for another slashing attack. This one wasn't quite so direct a hit, but it still did a nice amount of damage.

Viveca landed on the deck with a thud!, almost losing her balance from her shoes, but caught herself on Sin's arm. She gave her a quick hug of thanks, but noticed her limp, before rounding on Aksaja.
"WHAT." she cried, stomping her foot in a very horse-like manner, one at a time per word, getting closer and closer to him. "THE." Stomp. "JACK." Stomp.
She finally stood, all five feet of her, in front of him. "Where you THINKING??" she cried, punching him in the shoulder, trying to keep the look of sheer terror that still clutched at her off her face. "C'MON, Jack!
The demon ghoul heard a cry from the squid.
"AND YOU!" all her fury turned from the dragon boil to her accoster.
"Take!" she suddenly had one stiletto heeled shoe off, and was throwing it, spike first, at the beast. "THAT!" The other was off, following the first.
