GM EVENT POST: DAY 7Most of the students that had humoured the professor found themselves in luck. He had gotten off his behind and blessed Alwine, Rosciel, Ren, Mac and Gabrian with silver pumpkin seeds. It seemed in Arachne's ignorance and hurry to leave, Blue completely missed her as she left the deck. There seemed to be something stuck in her hood though: a small, unnoticeable sugar cube. How'd that get there? Perhaps it had fallen in there when she went under the deck.
In the end, the students had gotten 65 lbs of fish while they had fished for approximately three days. It had been a relatively quiet time, while Professor Blue seems to happily spend the days napping on the deck and occasionally steering the ship away from rocks. Only occasionally. A few times they had hit a shallow area a had to carefully steer their way out of it. Luckily no one had found themselves thrown into the water and Professor Blue quickly adverted the problem. He couldn't let rocks damage his precious Lady in Red, after all.
Fog seemed to be Professor Blue's mortal enemy while on this field trip and once again they found themselves approaching the thick and heavy fog that took days just to find themselves out of. This time Professor Blue was prepared though and he was quickly able to use the fear from the boat to get themselves out of trouble.
After doing a good job the demon settled back against the boat and gave her a good petting. It was time to celebrate, and soon the demon once again rallied the crew together to sing. It was hard to tell what the professor was expecting. They sang bad every time and just like before he seemed surprised, upset and disappointed. It was time to go back under deck for some private time with the ship. He had some captain duties to attend to or something.
Of course, he was going to go eat the food in a depression binge but when he got there, he found they were short 25 lbs. How strange. This seemed to worry the professor quickly. He could not have his students starve. That would not do. If he had to he would fish too, but for now he went back up onto the deck and gave the students a pleasant smile. He didn't even make them sing.

(( Arachne isn't wearing a hood much atm but then I presumed they knew about the Professor - I dunno why, will be careful of that XDD Anyhoo; sayurinittaAnd as it's another day XD )) Arachne uncurled, she'd decided to take a nap, as she still wasn't sleeping too well. She yawned, and sniffed, feeling down even before she'd done much. Where ever they were heading couldn't arrive too soon; she was beginning to feel hemmed in, by their small quarters and being around the same students. There was no where to go, no where to escape to and she wanted her own bed.
She brushed her hair and looked at the neatly folded coat of Mac's, and decided it was time to give it back. Arachne dressed, sliding the little sugar cube into a pocket of her bag, along with the silver pumpkin seeds she'd accrued since being on the boat. She stood, pushing her feet into her now dried boots from the last time gone in the water and headed up to the deck with the coat over one arm.

(( Lei my profile c: )) In the typical fashion of a layabout, Altair had avoided performing many duties since boarding the ship, staying out of sight, out of mind. Much of the time he passed sleeping, as there was something terrifically depressing about their journey. Finally, though, the incubus could stand no more, starving for some sort of stimulation, and crept from his quiet hiding place to emerge back into greater society. Yawning, the demon stretched as he headed up to the deck, trying to look inconspicuous, the tension palpable, as this journey undoubtedly had worn upon his shipmates far more than himself. A week aboard the dodgy craft was beginning to show its effects. The prospect of being coerced into performing actual work brought a bad taste to Altair's mouth.

Aedan felt as though he'd done nothing but sleep...and be seasick thus far this voyage. As a result, he'd spoken to almost no one, aside from perhaps the odd incoherent groan, followed by retching...he'd also, however, missed out on all of the duties the other students had (in some cases) so dilligently performed.
Making his way out on deck for perhaps the first time since boarding, Aedan was pleasantly surprised to discover that, while he still didn't find this whole shipbound thing pleasant, he might just be past the ongoing endless nausea that had plagued him thus far. Heading for a rail, he decided to see if he could spot anything interesting in the water.

Rosc was already on deck. Much as the incubus disliked being in public areas and all that, he couldn't stay in his room for very long. It was too quiet, even with music playing and quiet encouraged his mind to wander into dangerous territory. So he tried going up onto the deck, only Arachne had been up there when he had gone up. It took a lot to just give her a small nod in acknowledgment to her presence, but he was very careful to keep an eye on her as he moved away.
He'd sat on the deck up at the front of the boat, turning his vision off to just listen to the sound of the water lapping, finding a sort of music in it. Ripley probably would have liked the boat trip, but probably not the adventures in the water. And she probably would have gotten in the way of his fishing.
It didn't take long for more people to emerge onto the deck, two boils he hadn't seen. Ever. Maybe they had just been in their cabins this whole time, except for coming out to get food while no one was looking. It irked him that they hadn't had to deal with Blue and the Sleath's orders. Though the firey-looking one (Aedan) looked rather ill. He could maybe give that one a little leeway... Maybe.

exclaim
Professor Blue had been staring at his students with a lingering longing for the loud yell of a particular booeyman. He missed his dear Red greatly. The way she broke into his music room, the way her eyes narrowed when she was angry, the way she turned down all his advances and the way she yelled his name in rage. He loved just how full of love her words were when she yelled. He hoped this trip would be over soon so he could be blessed by her presence once more.
His longing seemed to manifest into reality and suddenly his phone began to sing a lonely hymn. He had received a text. And another. And another. And another. And another. Just who had been messaging him? He waited a moment, listening to the hymn finish the lonely melody it presented him. It seemed to convey how his very soul felt at this very moment and he felt a mellowing peace fall before him as he slowly dug out his phone. It took a moment, but as he read the messages his eyes began to go wide and his lips began to curve into a smile. Red... had sent him messages! Red had sent him love messages! He knew it was Red. Not only was it her number but the last one seemed to be texted to him after she had gotten drunk. She missed him! She realized the truth during this trip. It was now officially the best trip ever.
Best trip ever or not but the boat suddenly stopped with CRASH. The professor had been flown forward into the deck and students had been tossed around from whenever their positions were. They had hit a rock! Or many rocks, Professor Blue wasn't sure. He couldn't tell but the words, "GET OFF MY RED LADY! ABANDON SHIP!" was announced through the air at a very high pitch. Everyone heard it. If they didn't, they would soon find themselves flung from the boat as it flipped in the air and end up overboard regardless of if they wanted to or not. If they couldn't swim, perhaps they'd find a piece of the haul floating in the water or a friend's back to help them.
Blue hung on. He would not abandon his Lady in Red. He'd go down with the ship. Either way, that was the last the students would see of the professor as they found themselves seemingly alone in the ocean with a mysterious island in their sight in the distance. Ship sinking and professor no where to be found they were forced to make the only logical decision. They would swim to the island as a group. Upon reaching the island they found a tent. Soaked and lost, what harm could come if they checked it out? They made their way to the tent.
(( TL;DR? GO HERE NOW. THE BOAT CRASHED. ))
