Ravenclaw, second year... ::Sabrina stumbled into the room, trying to catch her breath after spending a good half an hour trying to navigate her way through the constantly-changing staircases of Hogwarts. She realized that she had never completed her previous assignment, and that the class had already moved on to a new one. She resisted the urge to slam her head into the nearest wall in frustration, and decided to pick up on the new assignment. Sabrina wasn't quire sure how difficult it would be to transfigure her own hair, as she usually just used muggle hair dye for that, but it might be worth the extra credit if she could pull it off.::Professor? I'm not quite sure how I would go about transfiguring my hair. Is it just the same as transfiguring any other object, or do I need to do something special because it's a part of my body?((Sorry for the absence. I pulled two all-nighters in the last week and a half trying to get all of my homework done. My real teachers apparently don't seem to comprehend that I have more than just their class to deal with @____@.))...Where those of wit and learning will always find their kind.

 Liviana briskly entered the room, found her usual seat, and pulled out her wand. Her color was better than the last time she had the strength to go to class. Her blue eyes shined and her long strawberry curls swayed and bounced with each movement she made.
Liviana glanced up at the chalk board and read the assignment. She decided that if she had a choice between two items, and one was bound to get her more credit, why not opt for that one? She was on a high from escaping from her underaged wizardy trial unscathed, and could take a few risks.
The Ravenclaw prefect gently lifted her previously capricious wand in her hand, and tapped her head, nonverbally chanting 'Colorvaria'. Liviana's red-gold curls instantly began changing, turning a soft blue from her roots that melted all the way to the ends of her curls at her back until her head full of bright hair had become even more Ravenclaw-friendly.
Liviana ran her fingers through her hair, wondering how long she had to look like a punk rocker that her parents would always jeer at while visiting London.

Colovaria
"Great Job, Liviana! Ten Points to Ravenclaw! And Ten points to Hufflepuff for Jacki turning her rat pink! Oh, and to turn your hair back Liviana, just say 'Colovaria Ritorno" Professor Annette loved Liviana's hair color choice, and smiled. She was very impressed with how quickly all these students were understanding the assignment. She turned to Sabrina and said with a bit of a laugh "The only difference is that you can not see where you are pointing. It would be best to do it with a mirror. But if you have a good amount of concentration, then you should be able to do it just fine. I have faith in all of my students." Annette took a seat at her desk and waved her wand at the chalk board. On the board, it said:
"The Colorvaria homework assignment will be due at the end of the week. Sunday is your last day to turn it in, and on sunday, we will be starting a new spell. Be ready!"

 ⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - ２ｎｄ ｙｅａｒ Nathaniel wasn't following much. Coloring his hair ? He looked up at his copper-colored strands. This spell could be useful, if he ever wanted to turn into some kind of emo-rocker-style. It totally saved him dye troubles. He smirked at Liviana's blue hair, should he go for bright yellow too ? He took out his wand and thought hard. "Colorvaria" he whispered. He felt some kind of mushy liquid wavering across his scalp. Where's a mirror in this class ? When he finally managed to get a reflection... He noticed his hair was only half colored ! The top of his head was completely green while from the ears it kept its natural hue. "Umm, does that count as a success ?" Counter-spell, counter-spell...

Liviana pressed her lips into a contented smile. It was nice to be on top of her game again. Now she had to find her balance with the rest of her classes and voila! It would be lake her two months of absence never happened.
Pointing her hair at her curly blue locks, she sang, "Colovaria Ritorno." As quickly as her hair tinted the first time, Liviana's red-gold curls returned.

Amelia Frances
Having already done the quill and the goblet, Amelia decided to try a mouse. Picking one up, she stroked down its nose, soothing the scared creature. Whispering to it, she reassured the mouse it wouldn’t hurt, though she knew he couldn’t understand her, instead would just take solace in her voice. Taking out her wand, she told him, “I think you’d make a lovely red.” With a wave of her wand, she recited the spell. It was a lovely color, looking similar to a cloudy sky, with light color most of the place and lighter blotches of clouds in others. However, it was at least pink…ish.

She wanted me to say that she will not be on again until Sunday afternoon. I myself will not be on again until then, but I can stay on tonight. Apparently she is busy with the lock - in stuff from our school, and she is a higher up officer than me, so she has to stay until the job is done.
She said that she will be on to assign the new assignment on Sunday, and that the Colovaria assignment is Still due on Sunday. If it's not turned in, she said it would be a zero... Just thought I would belay that message! Thanks! Oh, and Sing, I quoted you too so I wouldn't have to post it again in your office.. Sorry for being so lazy... xD||

⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - ２ｎｄ ｙｅａｒ Nathaniel was still stuck with half a head of green hair. Great. He sat still, listening in on other students. He heard a Ravenclaw recite something. Colovaria Ritorno ? That sounded logical. He waved his wand, quicky mumbling the spell. "Colovaria Ritorno" ! He glanced at a mirror. Success ! He etched a smile of satisfaction. Deciding that hair was better left untouched, he decided to take his raven quill and turn it into a bright yellow. That was definitely safer than his own hair. Putting the quill on the desk, he pointed at it with his wand, closing his eyes. "Colovaria !" He thought of canaries, the sun, bananas, a muggle school bus, the hufflepuff blason. When he looked at his desk, he couldn't stop but burst of laughter. The quill was still pitch black but his desk had turned into a yellow so bright, his eyes hurt. "I just get no luck." he stated out loud.

Amelia looked over her shoulder and grinned, "It happened to me a few moment ago, don't worry about it--just keep your eyes open next time." Her smile stayed as she returned to the ra-mouse in front of her. Leaning down to whisper to it, she told the creature, while it was a pretty outcome she was going to try again. After a quick Colovaria Ritorno, she tried again, her mind filled with the color of bright red poppies. With a swish of her wand, she touched the tip to the rat's nose causing him to turn a matching red! She was so excited by their success she kissed the mouse.

Looking at his desk, he didn't want to turn it back to it's original color yet. It was funny. "Let's get that quill to match." He waved his wand again, Colovaria, and smiled as the quill slowly turned the same hue of yellow.

Amelia blushed, lowering her head so that her hair covered her face. She felt the possible sarcasm in the words more than any compliment. Swallowing, she quietly, tried to return her rat quickly back to its original color. In her lowered spirits however, it took her six tries to finish it, so that by the end her hair wasn't just to hide herself behind, but her tears. Swallowing, she stroked the mouse's nose, not wanting to let him go yet. Maybe she could keep him? Her? Amelia wasn't sure how to check. But he was very sweet.

⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - ２ｎｄ ｙｅａｒ Since his yellow desk (and quill!) made it look pretty obvious he managed to succeed the assignment. Nathaniel didn't have anything to do left but turn everything back to normal. Transfiguration was fun, even if it'd be a little hard on the wand there. A Colovaria Ritorno later, the desk was brown, the quill was black. Check. Nathaniel thought he'd heard some noise and glanced back at Amelia. "Doing okay there ?" he had a genuine concerned face. Hard to tell about her, her hair hid everything.

Nodding silently, Amelia cursed herself. For a moment, she didn't sense, she just remembered. Don't let yourself cry in front of anyone, for it will simply make them tease you more. Still, when she did sense Nathaniel's genuine concern, she felt worse. Whether it was from the stupidity of forgetting he was a truly nice person or just from the pity that was sure to ensue didn't matter, only that she felt worse. After a couple swallows and a poorly nonchalant swipe at her eyes, Amelia replied, totally off topic, "Do you think Professor Soul would let us keep a mouse? I mean, we're allowed to have rats of all things, why not a mouse?" Her curiosity risen, she turned to face him, forgetting that the redness after tears were obvious on her pale skin. "And why not dogs? I mean, what about being a witch makes you a cat lover?" Or a toad lover..." Her face scrunched up at the mere thought of having a toad. Sure, she'd touched a few--sticking them on her teacher's desks, that type of thing, but owning one? Too icky for her.

⒩⒜⒯⒣⒜⒩⒤⒠⒧ ⒲⒜⒭⒟ - ２ｎｄ ｙｅａｒ If he was surprised, he didn't show anything. Amelia didn't look to well and it would be out of bounds to even mention her frail looks. Nathaniel smiled. "I don't think she'd mind. I suppose a mouse is better than a rat in all sorts of ways. Personally, I've never taken a liking to clichés. Although, dogs could cause troubles by running around everywhere in the common rooms." He remembered a muggle friend's dog. The pet couldn't stand to be confined in a room, it always needed attention and open spaces. "Maybe she won't notice if you take it, but asking is always a better option." he nodded towards Professor Soul. "You think you got everything to take care of it ?"
