I've been told they look more like rapidly expanding cheese-puffs than bursts of flame! xp And the scene you mention, in Megatron's cell, reveals such things as a framed photograph of his previous incarnation (he's been rendered Transmetal by this stage), a trophy, a bowling pin, G1 Starscream's severed head, and G1 Megatron's fusion cannon. Of course, the last two items are obviously replicas, given that the Maximals and Predacons of this era are effectively Micromasters, with the real Starscream's head alone being large enough to crush the techno-organic tyrant. mad d
And yes, I've always disagreed with the supposed biological origins of Cybertron. Ignoring the religious creationist aspects of the fable, having a robotic world constructed upon an organic infrastructure makes no sound sense - such an environment would naturally promote rust and corrosion! This was most unsatisfying (and downright insulting, I might add).

I must have easter eggs confused, because the scene I was thinking of involved Megs in his non-TM mode, because he hangs his tyrannosaur head over the edge of the hammick.
Hmm... I know what scene you speak of, though, I think. I believe Rampage had entered the room, hoping to find the rest of his spark.
I may be wrong though... It's been so long since I've seen the entire series.

This was most unsatisfying (and downright insulting, I might add). The cheese-puff exposion discription is dead on. I just looks rediculous. The exposions in Beast Wars were fine. I don't see why they had to change that. As for the biological origins of Cybertron, I still don't know how fossiles of EARTH creatures are on a robotic alien world. The Maximals traveled down several layers beneath Cybertron, but did they explore any of those other Ancient Cybertronian civilizations? No!

The way I see it, Beast Wars can fit in with G1 canon as much as G1 canon ever fits itself, but when it hits Beast Machines it has to be shunted into another universe to work.
It's rather like Highlander, Highlander 3, and Highlander 2 Renegade Version (in that chronological order) can be shoehorned into one coherent universe, but Endgame and anything dealing with the TV Series can only be an alternate continuum.

BogiePop i want to rewatch bm is it on dvd yet Yes, indeed it is. It cost less than the whole Beast Wars series DVDs, but then again, I don't know how many eps there are of Beast Machines because I never really got in to it, plus I was never home to watch when it came on. I actually never even seen the end of Beast Wars until it came out on DVD because I was never around to watch it on TV....

BogiePop i have this magicl thing called a VCR whit lets you recod stuff blaugh Lol, I also have a VCR, but the original remote doesn;t work since I have a pretty old VCR. My new TV and DVD player share a remote and it is not compatable with my VCR, at least not when it comes to going in the menu and programing it to record a show while I'm away. I rarly use it anyway 'cause even my computer is hooked up to my TV and it can be used as a second monitor, which is usful for watching Anime I've downloaded, but alas, not to record TV show.

Looking back, do you think they could have done without the whole "activation code thing?; like, when they say "Maximize" or "Terrorize." I know the Autobot and Decepticons never said any activation code.
